MIGO IN 2007 - MIRO in 2008 - WBS budget problem

Hi,
I have the folowin situation. GR was done on a PO with WBS using 2007's budget. A few days later invoice arrives (2008), MIRO is used but system displays error about WBS budget for 2008. Of course the invoice budget of the WBS is in 2007 not in 2008.
How can I fix this without posting the invoice in 2007, or reversing GR and rerunning it on 2008 ?.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I reconstruct : CJEN and then CJBN. and make sure that budget 2008 is allocated.
Thank you.

  • WBS budget functionality for Maintenance Order

    Experts,
Can we use the Availability control functionality of WBS budget with Plant Maintenance orders? If yes what are the necessary config/settings required to do that?
    Thanks

Edited by: Arya Singh on Sep 17, 2008 11:08 PM

    Hello Arya,
For budget availability control to get activated against MO thru WBSE, you should create MO as a subnetwork of an activity in PS.
    Please try following
    1) Create a Project, WBSE, Network with one Internal activity. T-code CJ20N.
    2) Assign Budget to the WBSE. T-code CJ30.
    3) Assign Budget profile at Proj Def level. Choose activation type as 1 in profile.
    4) In MO, in additonal data tab, enter the network and activity number. WBSE will be fetched automatically by the system.
    5) For point 4 above do config setting @ T-code OPTP. Enter following in two columns
                               1) Network type Subntwrk = MO order type.
                               2) Ntwktype replaced act = PS network type.
    6) Assign a component or raise service PR  such that it exceeds budget. Sytem will throw an error for budget unavailability.
    7) To check report S_alr_87013558 to know Budget/commitment/Assigned funds/Remaining budget.
    Please post ur observations.
    Thanks

  • Removing Exchange 2007 from SBS 2008 (In an Exchange 2010 Coexistance Scenario) - In order to remove 2007 Mailbox Objects from Active Directory and remove the SBS2008 server completely

I'm trying to remove Exchange 2007 from an SBS 2008 server
(Server 2008 Standard FE).  My ultimate goal is to completely remove the SBS 2008 Server from the network environment.
We have an Exchange 2010 Coexistence Scenario and Mailboxes/Public Folders/etc have been moved over to the 2010 mail server, on Server 2008 R2.
I have moved all Shares, FSMO roles, DHCP, DNS, etc over to their respective servers.  We have two full blown DC's in the environment.
I'm ready to remove Exchange 2007 from SBS 2008 and DCPROMO the server.  I can NOT seem to find a TechNet article that shows me how
to proceed in this kind of scenario.  I am trying to use the TechNet article:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd728003(v=ws.10).aspx
This article references Disabling Mailboxes, Removing OAB, Removing Public Folder Databases, then uninstalling Exchange using the Setup Wizard.
When I go to Disable Mailboxes I get the following error:
    Microsoft Exchange Error
Action 'Disable' could not be performed on object 'Username (edited)'.
    Username (edited)
    Failed
    Error:
Object cannot be saved because its ExchangeVersion property is 0.10 (14.0.100.0), which is not supported by the current version 0.1 (8.0.535.0). You will need a later version of Exchange.
    OK
I really don't see why I need to Disable Mailboxes, Remove OAB and Public Folder Databases since they have been moved to 2010.  I just want
to remove Exchange 2007 and DCPROMO this server (actually I just want to remove any lingering Exchange AD Objects referring to the SBS 2008 Server, using the easiest and cleanest method possible).
Can someone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
Based on your description, it seems that you are in a migration process (migrate SBS 2008 to Windows Server
2008 R2). Now, you want to remove Exchange Server and demote server. If anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
On current situation, please refer to following articles and check if can help you.

  • Migrating from Outlook 2007 to Entourage 2008

15 days ago, I bought my first Mac after a 12-year gap. I have been trying to get my information from Outlook 2007 into Entourage 2008 without any luck. I've google'd and found that there are indirect paths only. (via mbox).
My E08 refuses to recognize the mbox files. After renaming my Inbox files as Inbox.mbox, they show up as E08 files (with the E08 icons). But I cannot open them in E08. When I go the File, Import method in E08, all mbox files are grayed out and I cannot select any of them.
I've installed Thunderbird on my Mac and got all the files into Thunderbird from my Win PC. Apple Mail crashes consistently when I try to import from Apple Mail.
Total file size is 5+ GB with 30 folders. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong.

Here is a long pending update on how I got my OL2007 data into E2008.
    On the PC:
    1. Setup Gmail Imap in OL2007. (I used my Gmail account for this purpose. Go into Gmail and search for "Outlook Imap setup")
ENSURE ENTOURAGE IS NOT RUNNING ON THE MAC.
    2. Drag and drop each sub-folder from the Inbox into the Inbox of the Gmail Imap folder.
    3. Depending on the size of the sub-folder and attachment, it makes take a few minutes to a couple of hours.
    On the Mac:
    4. Setup the Gmail Imap folders in Entourage too. (again refer Gmail help section).
    SHUTDOWN OL2007 ON THE PC
    5. Drag and drop the subfolder you created in step 2 onto your Entourage Inbox. (because this is a "download", it might work faster).
    6. After step 5 is complete, quit Entourage.
    7. Back to your PC, start OL2007.
    8. Drag and drop the sub-folder from Gmail into the OL2007 Inbox. (this step is required if you want to preserve all the data on OL2007).
    9. Repeat for other folders present on your OL2007.
This process is excruciatingly slow and painful, but it did get me all my data, attachments, preserved the links intact and organized it according to categories. For categories, ensure that you create the same categories as your OL2007 on E2008.
    Good luck.

  • Unrecognized certificate when Outlook 2010 tries to connect to Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008

    Hi all,
I believe this is a security issue rather than a connectivity or configuration problem.
Running Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 trying to connect to Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008, I receive the following error:
"The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"
When I view the certificate I see that it was issued to "zx-server" by "zx". This is NOT my domain CA nor is it a certificate I recognize. I use a self-issued certificate (i.e. issued by the SBS box). I also receive this certificate error when I browse to
the internal website (companyweb). No other computers on the network are seeing this behaviour.
I have checked the certificate stores in certmgr and I can't find any such certificate or CA. I have also searched the entire hard drive with no luck. I have run Kaspersky AV, Malwarebytes and MS Security Essentials several times but I can't find any malware.
I also recently installed Comodo Firewall (the problem began after this).
I need to find and remove the certificate and prevent it from being presented to me every time I try to connect to the server. All help, advice and suggestions appreciated.
    Aide

    Hi,
    It’s really a common issue.
This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
You replace the default self-signed Exchange Server 2007 or Exchange Server 2010 certificate with a different certificate.
Note The Setup program in Exchange Server 2007 or in Exchange Server 2010 creates a default self-signed certificate when Exchange Server 2007 or Exchange Server 2010 is installed.
The common name on the replacement certificate does not match the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the URL that is stored in the following objects:
    o
The Service Connection Point object for the Autodiscover service
    o
    The
InternalUrl attribute of Exchange 2007 Web Service (EWS)
    o
    The
InternalUrl attribute of the Offline Address Book Web service
    o
    The
InternalUrl attribute of the Exchange unified messaging (UM) Web service
By default, the URL that is stored in these objects references the NetBIOS name of the server. For example, a URL that resembles the
    following URL is stored:
    https://NetBIOS_name.contoso.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
This may differ from the host name that is used in the FQDN of the replacement certificate. For example, the replacement certificate
may have an FQDN that resembles the following FQDN:
    mail.contoso.com
This issue causes a name mismatch error to occur. Therefore, you receive the security warning message when you try to connect Outlook
    2007 to the mailbox.
For more detailed information about the procedures to fix the issue, please refer to the following KB article:
Title: Security warning when you start Outlook 2007 and then connect to a mailbox
that is hosted on a server that is running Exchange Server 2007 or Exchange Server 2010: "The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"

  • IIS SMTP instead of Exchange 2007 on SBS 2008

We have recently moved a client from Exchange 2007 on a 2008 Small Business Server over to Office 365. We would like to disable Exchange 2007 altogether in order to free up resources on an already overworked server. However, we have a couple of multifunction
devices that require an unauthenticated SMTP relay for email. I believe the easiest solution available to us is to enable SMTP in IIS and limit the relay to certain internal IPs. Assuming Exchange is fully disabled, would this be a viable solution? Given that
we are still running IIS internally, I would see this as a net gain in terms of system resources.

    It is not possible.

  • WBS budget reg

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I am MM guy and don't have PS knowledge.
When I am going to create PR system throwing error as "In document item 10 WBS element XXXXXXXXX
budget for the fiscal year 2009 was exceeded by XXXXXXXX.
When I see in the Tcode:CJ30 only Over all Budget is there. No annual budget assigned since 2007 to 2009.I am not able to assign value in the year 2009.It is under implementation and not completed.
Can you please tell the detailed steps how to assign budget in the year 2009 and also explain any config chnages needed if required.

    Hi,
What do you mean by Budget Under Implementation? In CJ30 , is it not allowing you to enter budget against 2009?
If so , go to OPS9 , check in relevant Budget Profile for Annual Values. If Annual Values is not ticked , it will not allow you to budget annually.

I have been trying to migrate approx 50 public folders from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013 for several months.  I have followed every link I can find on how to do the migration properly.  It will stay in a queued state for hours until the MRS is

It never tries to restart.  Can anyone please help?  The server checks for health all come back ok.   I will be more than glad to include further information.

    Hi,
Basic on the error message, I notice that public folder migrate slow and display that “Relinquishing job because of large delays due to unfavorable server health or budget limitations” .
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Since it is just slow and not failing, please do not stop the batch, it might connect to another server for sync.
Meanwhile, please refer to below link so that get details about Exchange Online migration performance and best practices:
    https://technet.microsoft.com/library/dn592150(v=exchg.150).aspx
If the issue persists, please collect the relevant migration report for further troubleshooting.
    Thanks

  • WBS budget reduction at the time of PO creation

    Hi,
    1. When a PO is created against a WBS element, at this point is there any budget check? If so is it against RELEASED budget or TOTAL BUDGET.
    2. If at the time of PO creation the budget check is against TOTAL, does the system check at the time of invoice posting against RELEASED?
I have the following scenario in PRODUCTION.
    WBS  TOTAL budget - 200,000
    WBS RELEASED budget - 100,000
System is allowing to post POs and INVOICES fro Rs.180,000 (more than RELEASED). WBS availability check is active.
Any idea why system is allowing to post both PO and INVOICES more than released??
    Regards
    Prajith

    Hi,
The budget is checked against the assigned values.
The assigned value for projects is calculated from:
    1. Actual costs on the budget carrying WBS element
    2. Statistical actual costs on the budget carrying WBS element
    3. Actual costs from lower-level WBS elements, if these do not have any budget
    4. Statistical actual costs from lower-level WBS elements, if these do not have any budget
    5. Commitments on the budget carrying WBS element
    6. Commitments from lower-level WBS elements, if these do not have any budget.
    7. Maximum from plan and actual costs + commitments from assigned networks or orders
To know more about the assigned values: Go to CJ30 enter in the budget distribution screen then Extras->Availability control>analysis.
Also check the transaction group in tolerence limit in SPRO

    hope its useful.

  • Problem in Exporting to Excel 2007 using CRServer 2008

Can anyone please help me know the difference between Crystal Reports Server 2008 and Business Objects XI R2? Both the support guides says that it supports Office 2007. I have a problem in exporting the reports to Excel 2007 .I have downloaded the trial version of Crystal Reports Server 2008 but still unable to view my complete reports in Excel 2007 through infoview because few of my report's colums are truncated and it still exports in Excel 2003.I have LiveOfficeXIR2_SP4 and Office 2007 installed. Is it so that i have to switch over to Business Objects XI R2 or any other to solve my problem instead of using Crystal Reports Server 2008 or is it the problem with the version of my Live office.Pls help me regarding this..
    Babita.

    Hi Ani,
First Thank you for your reply..I have already tried exporting it in Excel 2003 but since the limit is upto 256 columns and that my report's content exceeds this limit, few of the columns are truncated. Thats why i thought that it would be better to export it in Excel 2007. But i could'nt find any way to do it so..Pls help me if there is any other way..

  • Delphi 2007 and CR 2008

    Hello everyone,
This is my first post on Business Objects forum...
I would like to know if there is a way to use CR2008 in Delphi 2007.
I have read that the RDC is not available for CR2008 but only for the XI release 2.
Thanks in advance for your reply...

That's correct RDC was deprecated with XI Release 2, and is not included with CR 2008.
RDC remains supported for use with XI Release 2.
    Sincerely,
    Ted Ueda
