MIGO print - GRN document

Hi SAP Gurus,
In MIGO, General Tab i select "Collective slip" beside Print Indicator and tick mark that field.
System gives me message "System can not create any outputs"
Do i need to configure output types? How??
How do i get output type in Material document?

In SAP standard Output types are present, you need to maintain the Condition records if you want the Output to determine by the sytem.
Maintain the Condition records in MN21
These are standard output types in the system, for GR- use WE & for GI use WA
WA01     GI Note Vers.1
WA02     GI Note Vers.2
WA03     GI Note Vers.3
WE01     GR Note Vers.1
WE02     GR Note Vers.2
WE03     GR Note Vers.3
for Collective slip you can use WE03.

The steps are the following:
trx M706 or SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03;
Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1, Print Parameter is 7;
trx MN21, for output type WE01, WE02, WE03 select Tr Type WE, Print Version 1, 2, 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
For enabling printing when user post a goods receipt is necessary set in trx SU01 for the users the parameter NDR and activate it with an X.
This will set the tick in the field XNAPR in MIGO.
At every logon system will propose the field checked
If the user will remove the tick or will put again the tick during a session system will remember
the last setting.
At the following logon system will propose again the above field checked
System will also remember if user has set in MIGO "GR Note Vers1 or GR Note Vers 2 or GR Note Vers3" for the entire session and furthers logons.

Print out of GRN document.

Kindly help me as user is in need to take print out of GRN document as collective slip I need to take out printout of grn.the prinout should contain collective
slip that is all item in one slip.
the slip should contain line item no.,material description,material no.,quantity,rate,total amount and sum total amount of all items together in the last page.
vendor name,p.o. no.,plant,invoice no.,invoice date,posting date,grn no.,date,location,payment terms. Pl guide that what config are to be done in SPRO .

Run MB02 transaction, enter material document number. Double click one line item and select messages. Separate screen will be opened to configure outputs. Give the required fields and save the document. Now Run MB90, you can take printout. Output Type: WE03 - Collective slip
Note:
Check following are some of steps for GR collective printing
1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensure that in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. Go to MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.
Now the settings are ready for Printing Material doc
8. While doing MIGO, ensure that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
9. Now depending on the setting in 5a, the Matl doc is printed. If it is 3, you have to print it using MB90. If it is 4, it is printed immediately

You have to add the requirements in the print out form - smart form with the help of ABAPer. You can find this smat form in T code NACE - slect ME Invenotry management - Output type - WE03 - Go to processing routines - form name.

Error in Printing Material Document in MIGO (movement 561)

Hello everyone!
Kindly assist me with this. We are trying to print an output document in MIGO. We have set up the Output type WA03 in NACE and in MN21. When we started printing the document, an express message was generated stating that:

Please check whether you have defined your element and window properly.
This type of error occurs only when they are not defined properly.

PO exchange rate in GRN document

Hi All
Without maintaining the exchangerate in Table(ob08), i want flow the PO exchange rate in MIGO document.
that is my (GRN) documents should update with PO exchange rate. System should not pick(exchange rate from table).
Can any one tell me how can i do?

As per standard the PO exchange rate gets automatically determined based on the values maintained in Configuration OBO8.
If you want the GRN to be based on a fixed exchange rate then you can flag the exchange rate fixed indicator in the PO header tab Delivery/ Invoice.

1. GI ( all kinds as in 201 , 261 , 551, 543 )
2. GR( all kinds as in 101 , 501)
3. Transfer Posting ( 541, 311 , 301 )
Pls tell me wat are the relevent o/p conditions to be used ?
in std SAP there are many o/p contition types & which one is to be used is quite confusing ,.

5. In OMJ3 I have maintained the combination of WA01/2/3 & my plant & storage loaction . with immediate & release ticked.
6.After thatI mainatinmed the comdition records for WA01/02/03 with WA, print version 3 as :
      Print item : 1
Function : No entry
Partner : No entry
Medium : 1
Date./Time : 4
Language : EN
After this i did the MIGO 201 GI transaction for the plant / storeage location & went to MB90.
BUT I M GETTING NO SPOOL REQUEST GENERATED .
PLEASE TELL ME WAT IS WRONG

The GRN Document on the MIRO

Hi All
I have a requirement where the customer needs to see the Goods receipt document number instead of the Purchase Order/Delivery Note on the MIRO Screen. So that when the GRN doc number is input, it will bring up only the line items that were received instead of all the lines on the PO itself.
Is that possible and if so can anyone please guide me as to how to go about doing it?

What I need is instead of entering the PO reference at MIRO - i want to be able to enter teh GR doc number and get ONLY the items that were GRN'd for the PO
GRN Number is the one defined in SAP for material Document as a Proof of Delivery, the Delivery Note Number is the one which will be provided by Vendor, that's why SAP has given the Delivery note option in MIGO Screen.
by putting the Delivery note Number in MIRO you will get the GRN done Items for that Delivery Note in MIRO.
Where as if you use GR-basedIV indicator, then you will get all the GRN items for the PO in MIRO.
Your requirement is to see only GRN documents in MIRO then that would be done with GR-basedIV indicator.

Print material document (WE02) automatic when GR

Hi Guru,
I want to let the system automatically print material document output "WE02" when I post Good receipt w/ MIGO 511 Movement type.
I use OMJ3 to maintain the condition type WE02/Plant/storage location/outpud device and immediate.
Please advise the other steps.

OMBR - Set "1" as material document printout
OMB5 - assigned "1" to 511 movement type,
But I still can get the material document automatically printed out during MIGO GR with 511 movement type.
some people guide me to pay attendtion to user profile, but I am not clear about what's NDR.

What is the full and exact message you are getting?

PDF: Unable to print a document as PDF from APEX when using the BI Publishe

Hi,
From an APEX application, I am unable to print a document in a PDF format when using the Oracle BI Publisher.\
Here is the configuration:
1) Server A is W2K3 and hosts the Oracle BI Publisher server, with IP address ip01.
2) Server B is a OEL5.2 and hosts the database server of the APEX application, with IP address ip02.
3) Machine C is a W7 desktop from which through an URL both the APEX applicationn and the BI server are accessed, with IP address ip03.
4) The APEX application is configured with the following to use the Oracle BI Publisher:
- Printer server: Advanced (requires Oracle BI Publisher)
- Printer server protocol: HTTP
- Printer server host address: ip01
- Printer server port: 9704
- Printer server script: /xmlpserver/convert
- Network services are enabled (at least I did get any warning/error message)
From C, I access the the APEX application through its URL, if I try to download a page by selecting PDF in the download section of the interative report section for that page, I am unable to open if and get the error:
<file>. pdf file can not be opened because the file type is not supported or because it is damaged (because, for example as an e-mail attachment is not sent and correctly decoded)
Yet, still from C, I am able to open any other PDF document.
The same way, still from C, acessing the APEX application through its URL, I have a query report defined with a PDF output format. Then, when I test the report (Test Report in the Report query) for that query, I get the error:
ORA-20001: The printing engine could not be reached because either the URL specified is incorrect or a proxy URL needs to be specified.
At first sight this could be a wong entry in the priinter configuration for APEX. But with this address, through the URL I can log in to the Oracle BI Publisher server.
Does someone has an idea what the problem could be?

How are you trying to print to pdf?
Don't go via PostScript or Acrobat Distiller, which are old deprecated technology.
You use:
Menu > File > Print > PDF (button bottom left) > Save as PDF…

Firefox is crahsing whenever I try to print a document from web or email. I run Window XP and firefox version is 3.6.12

this has happened and reported 22 times since jan 2010. It may have probably started since I updated firefox in Jan 2010. The printer is a Canon LBP180 which prints all documents from any other software.

Can't print text documents

For a little over a week I have been unable to print text documents from either of my printers (Lexmark Z-23 and HP PSC 1410). I had noticed that the sharpness of text had been declining-but I was in denial, sort of. Now, when printing text documents from the computer, the printout is garbled, streaked, and unreadable. Sometimes the first half of printed document will be okay but the second half will be all garbled and streaked.
I have tried to print from Pages, Appleworks, and TextEdit. No success in any of them. I have converted a page of my word processing document to pdf format, but it does not print out properly in pdf, either.
Here's the weird part: the HP will produce good copies (copy function) I am able to print out beautiful iCal (calendar) pages; some web-based information (like maps with directions) comes out great; and even "screen-shots" (or pictures) of text documents are fine; I just can't print text-based documents.
So far, I have cleaned and calibrated the printers; they have enough ink. I have uninstalled then reinstalled the software and drivers.

Just today, in FontBook I validated fonts and
resolved duplicates, whatever that means. I also
"turned off" a bunch of fonts that I never use. Then
I restarted, reset PRAM, and repaired permissions in
Disk Utility.
I still have the problem.
What other kinds of things can you do with fonts?

Maybe you can read it or weed thru it and make sure you haven't turned off any necessary fonts that you don't use but the system finds necessary. Especially "TextEdit" uses I think exclusively system fonts and if you've turned them off... It's just good to know which fonts are for what before you disable certain ones.
I believe fonts can definitely cause these sorts of problems, especially if you've disabled system fonts.

Mail merge and print one document at a time?

Hi all. I'm an Apple revert. I'm currently using the i7 iMac. Previous Apple computer was a //e.
I print an 8 or 12 page newsletter for my work. I want my printer/copier to fold and staple each document individually. Pages seems to send all documents to the printer in one huge file. How do I mail merge and print one document at a time?
[In Windows Publisher, there's a registry hack to make Pub print one at a time. Anything similar on a Mac?]

Pages won't print Word documents

All of a sudden I can't seem to get Pages to print Word documents. Pages documents print fine, but if I send a Word document to the printer, the printer seems to start, but then never prints. I have an Epson Stylus C86. This problem only happens in Pages and only with Word documents.
Any ideas?

Since it only happens with Word docs, I'm wondering if it's a font issue. For the sake experimentation, try highlighting the entire doc, and change fonts, then try printing again.
