MIGO - Services of object (Attach document) doesn't work

Hello Everyone
I am using SAP netweaver 7.
When Using MIGO, I can see the Services of Object button to add attachment and notes.
When I am trying to attach a new document or even create a note, the system give me a message that the document has been created but the "Attachment list" option is still not available.
So I cannot see the document that I just attached.
Trying with transaction VL02N, VF02 and other transactions, it does work.The Services of object is working fine. I can add attachment and notes and of course I can retreive it.
Furthermore, the table SOOD add a record when I am attaching a PC document in MIGO.
Is anyone have an idea why, in MIGO, the creation of an attachment or a note, doesn't activate the "Attachment list" option?

Hello everyone
I just found what the problem was.
When creating a good receipt / purchase order in MIGO, you can attach documents and notes but you cannot see what you did until you performed a post and go back to the display mode of the posted document.
Here are the steps.
1. Perform the reception.
2. Add the document, using the services of object
3. post
4. Go back in display material document and enter the document that you've just created
5. Go to the Services of object, than the "Attachment List" will be available and will list the documents that you attached.
It is very annoying to have to post before we can validate what have been added to the attachment or the notes.
As far as I am concerned, we should be able to see the attachment and notes as soon as it as been created.
That way, we can validate, before posting, if all the work has been done correctly, specifically when you have been disturbed in process.
Furthermore, based on my observation, if we are attaching documents and not performing the post, the documents have been loaded in SAP database but will never be linked or deleted from it.
I hope that is not happening to often otherwise that could that a lot of space.

Dear SAPfriends,
The deletion button at the attachment list of "Services for Object" does not work. Eventhough it seems that the documents/ links/ notes have been removed from the object (i.e. Purchase order, material etc), when you exit and re-enter at the attachment list the documents are still there.
I tried to delete them from OAER, still the same.
Any ideas?

Services for Objects Attachement List Display Note not Viewable

Hi Experts!
Good day! I'm trying to display a note in FK03 (related to Services for Objects - Attachment List) and I only see white screen pop up window. No message and text information. When I tried to use another PC I can successfully view it.
Is there's a plugin that I may need to install?

It is my understanding that the IXOS licensing is based on users retrieving of documents not necessarily the viewer so the licensing implications of having non-IXOS viewers accessing documents using the generic archivelink viewer is still likely to result in licensing implications if an audit is conducted at any stage.
The transaction for specifying the viewer is the OAA3 and OAG4.

VF03 - Services of Object - Attachment List - Send Email

Dear All,
I have following requirement and need help on this.
Step1: Go the Transaction code u2018VF03u2019, give the Billing document and press u2018Enteru2019.
Step2: In the next screen, we will be on the screen u2018Standard Invoice XXXXXXXX (ZSOR) Display: Overview of Billing Itemsu2019.
In this screen, click Icon u2018Services for Objectu2019 (just below u2018Enteru2019 Icon). We will find the popup consists of Create, Attachment List, Private note, Send, Relationships, Workflow, My Objects and Help for object services.
Click u2018Attachment Listu2019, popup appears consists of attached documents. This documents need to be attached and send via email to the specific person.
Need inputs on the above requirement.

User will execute VF01/VF02 and would like to see the email will generate along with the billing document for the output type ZRDO to ZRD4.
Even if he executes the VF31 also, functionality will work to send the email along with the attachments.

How to link Employee-Trip with "Services for Object" Attachment.

Hello SAPients.
This is the scenario: I enter the TCode TRIP, enter a personnel number and hit enter, then click on the 'Subsequent Activities' link, then click on the button 'Services for Object', then click on the 'Attachment List' button, I see a list of attachments for the object.
The question is, does anybody knows the table relations to get from 'Employee-Trip' to this attachment list? I know that some of the information I need of the attachment list is stored in table SOOD. But I can't find a way to link from 'Employee-Trip' to the attachment list in SOOD.
Any help will be greatly appreciated <REMOVED BY MODERATOR>

GOS - Services for Object attachment icon

I may be posting this in the wrong forum, but my question is this. Is the Services for Object button ICON supposed to change colors or something when there is an attachment? How can you tell if there is an attachment for the object?

Thanks for the reply. This is true, what you say. But I was talking about the the Services for Object Icon. I want to know if an attachment exists without having to click on on the button. I would expect the button to change colors or something if there is an attachment.

Services of object attachment didnt display when parked invoice mir7 delete

Hi experts,
i have problem with attachments (PC Attachments, Notes, personal notes etc.) in Services of object in tcode mir7.
User started workflow with parked incoming invoice mir7 and each users has to workitems for approve or fill notes. This attachments save in GOS in mir7. When invoice rejected wf inciator user delete parked invoice with standard function in tcode mir7. Qustion is - where user can view or display attachments connected during workflow when it is in services of object tying to mir7 and deleted invoice didnt view beacouse msg - Document <number> deleted Message no. M8417.
May be solution fill this attachments during workflow in wf container object? Wich parameters have to this container objects?

i'm workin in Pages for iCloud. And when i try to go to my documents by pushing the "Go to my documents" button, it doesn't work. it opens in new window, but in doesn't stop loading...

Mail Services New email with selection doesn't work, leads to Force Quit

I've posted this before, but got no replies so I'm trying again since it's driving me crazy. It was a problem under Mavericks and still exists under Yosemite's Mail.
When I select text and then go to the Services menu and pick "New email with selection," much of the time a totally empty new email message window opens , won't let me type in it at all, nor will it close or send. It just sits there until I Force Quit Mail.
HELP PLEASE!!!

Standard Apple Mail. I'm running Yosemite 10.10.1, and I'm amazed to see that About Mail says it's Mail Version 8.1 (1993), copyright 1995-2014 Apple Inc.
Interesting thought, do you think that it doesn't like to work with itself? Actually, I'm fairly sure I've had the problem inside of other apps but I should document that. I'll keep notes to see where this happens.

After changing 'MS SQL server' service's user name SDAC doesn't work properly

I've changed 'MS SQL Server' service user name
from .\admin (have had such already) to network_services
and now my oracle linked servers to Oracle instance stopped to work.
Namely, 'Cannot create an instance of OLE DB provider "OraOLEDB.Oracle" for linked server Ora_RO'.
In event log i see next:

Using Firefox 4.0 sometimes I can attach photos to email and most often the Attach feature doesn't work. How can I fix this?

I have Firefox v4.0.1
If I restart my laptop or my Desktop, both with MS OS, my email, AT&T Yahoo, Firefox browser, will allow the attach feature, for photos to work for a few photos. The when I click to attach another photo, nothing happens. At first I was trying to attach several photos at once. That didn;t work at all. Then I tried attaching one at a time. I thought I had solved the problem because that will work if I retart first. But then not. This is a problem that could make me go back to using IE. I need to be able to attach photos! By the way, I didn;t have this problem before I upgraded to v4.0.

If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

BUG: Record Limit per Document doesn't work for PDF in CS4 - does it work in CS5?

Hey all - I'm attempting to export 100 data merged documents to pdf. I know i can use "Record Limit per Document" set to 1 to create 100 InDesign files, which isn't what i want to do. When you select "Export to PDF" in the data merge window, the "record limit per document" option exists, but no matter what, it will always create one giant pdf file - it will NOT separate into 100 different pdf files. This is a bug in CS4.
I am wondering if the bug has been fixed in CS5 or if there is a workaround in CS4 to generate the pdfs.
All I found is this ancient thread in which people say the only workaround is to batch convert the pdf files later, and then degenerates into unrelated discussion:

has there been any follow-up to this or workarounds?
i constantly have VDP jobs which have tens of thousands of records, but the chaps printing it only want the PDFs in lots of 500 or so. being able to do ONE merge which splits the merge into bite-size PDFs for our printing section would be preferable to making them through the dialog box in the appropriate lots.
