MIGO Vs Inspection Cancellation

Dear All,
One MIGO doucument with two line items was made.
While doing the Inspection, for one line item, UD was given wrongly.
Using QA12/ MB0A, the UD, and MIGO cancellation can be done.
Now the problem is that I want to retain the cancelled item in the same MIGO Document. This seems to be not possible as I don't see any EDITING in the MIGO.
I should have to cancel the entire MIGO document (all line items, and I have to go a freash MIGO)
Is there any alternate?

Hello,
Up to release 4.7 it was not possible to cancel only part of a material document. If your company is still in a release lower than 4.7, you will have to cancel the complete material document and start all over again.
In ECC5 and on it is now possible to cancel part of a material document. If you are not there - it does not help you ...

MIGO vs MB1a - cancellation with reference to order

Folks,
Within MB1A we have the option to make a cancellation with reference to order by going into the menu in the selection screen:
Goods issue / Cancel with reference / To order.
This allows the user to only cancel issues for those items that were initially issued on the order. I was trying to find the same logic in MIGO but I cant find it. Customizing also only shows Material document as reference document for cancellations. We cannot add another reference document, or can we?

Hi,
MIGO is the enjoy transaction can be used for GR,GI and CANCELLATION. If you want to cancell with reference to order, that order might be partially completed, still delivery need to done on this, to which quantity in order you will post cacellation. Hence SAP system proposed to refer materila document as a reference for cancellation. With that reference the items which are issued or received can be cancelled exactly (quantity and amount)
In MB1A :It is purely related to GI and refer the order
Hence in standard SAP in MIGO, you cannot have option of order as reference for cancellation. I hope it will help you. Thanking you.

User Exit for MIGO during inspection lot creation

Hi Everyone,
I want to change the vendor number in the inspection lot while doing goods receipt for an outbound delivery in MIGO. Is there any user exit available to do this or can we do this in standard transaction?
Please guide me how this has to be done.

Cancellation in MIGO

Hi All,
Can anyone please explain the reason behind why I am able to cancel a material document via t-code HUCANC but I am not able to do so with the t-code MIGO and selecting cancellation from the drop down menu.
When i try to use MIGO (selecting "cancellation"), it just displays a message that "material document can not be processed". Can anyone please shed a light on this?

Hi Sachin,
Go to Tcode MIGO
Choose the Cancellation field in the document...and Material document in the corresponding field....check the whether the material number or doucument is correct or not....
Before doing all this please choose the proper mvt type and then check the document....
And then post the document...

Intercompany stock transfer GR cancellation

Hello gurus,
We have the following intercompany stock transfer scenario: Plant B orders 1pc of material from plant A. Plant A issues 1pc which is transferred to plant B, but on goods receipt the quantity is erroneously entered as 10pc.
Supplying plant A:
Delivery 1pc
GI 1pc
Ordering plant B:
PO 1pc
GR 10pc
IR 1pc
Now when I try to cancel the GR in MB01 with movement type 102 it looks as if the cancellation doc was created but then I get an "Update was terminated" express message with the error "System error: quantity not completely distributed" and it's not posted after all.
How can I cancel this GR?? All other documents in the process flow contain the correct quantity. My other question is that why doesn't the MB5T transaction show -9pc in stock in transit?

1st cancel teh Invoice document in transaction code MR8M, then go to transaction code MIGO select A03 : Cancellation and R02 : Material document no. , give the material document no. for 10 qty. , press enter and save with item check.
then do GR for 1 pc. and IR

Urgent! Cancel or delete an WI in other Fork's leg

Friends,
Now, I need to find a better way to do a Cancel/Reexecute process.
I'm developing in 46C and I've got some Sub-wf's in sequence... Receive's Protocol -> MIGO -> MIRO, that are called in this sequence in the Super-WF.
This flow has to be preparated to document's cancel. For example: Inside MIRO Sub-wf, I have a dialog task to execute MIRO, and it is in a fork leg. In the other Fork's leg, I have got a Wait for event task, that wait for MIGO's Cancel.
In this moment, I want to call MIGO again, in this second leg, and kill the other MIRO's WI that in this same moment is in its workplace.
But how can I delete it ? It's in another Fork's leg, to process the MIRO...
Anybody there has any flow sugestion ? Because I can't delete the other WI by Process control task.

I've already did the first solution. How? I put a fork with 2 legs. On the lef leg, I have the MIRO's task, and on the right leg I have an Wait for step task that listen to a MIGO Cancel event, and follow calling MIGO again and then the MIRO, in sequence.
But, if the right leg is started, I have to kill the MIRO in the left leg, because it isn't the best way taken the WI in the user's inbox even following the right leg. It can be deceptive to the MIRO's user that will try to execute it without a MIGO's document.
I've already tryied to use events on the right leg (MIGO have been Canceled), after MIGO and MIRO, trying to eliminate the left leg task, but it didn't work, even I puting this event as atermination event in the MIRO on the left leg.
Anybody can help me ?

Partial release of inspection lots

Dear Gurus,
I am a PP guy and the business has a requirement in QM. At present QM is used only for raw material incoming inspection. Once you do MIGO automatically inspection lot gets created and the Quality team releases the entire lot using QA16 t code.
Now they want to release partial quanties.
e.g if the lot is 100 then they want to release 50 first and then 50 later. Please let me know how to do it QA16 as it is for collective usage decision.
We use inspection tye 90 and these are the selection criteria
Post to inspection stock(selected), 100% sampling inspection(selected), Skips allowed(selected), Automatic UD(selected),

As you now that QA16 is for Usage Decision only & not the stock posting.Means as in selected set of Usage decion you have maintained "Post to unrestricted" as a Posting praposal for UD(check t code QS54-->catalog-3 >select UD code->check here
That is reason it was working for UD.
But for partial stock posting it will not work.
You have to use QA32 for the same.
Or make a LSMW for Partial stock postig as per your requirement.

Post Parked Invoice, if GR canceled and ReGR

-We process, MIGO > Park invoice >Cancel GR> Again GR, now trying to post
same parked invoice but getting error 'inoive quantity > GR Quantity'
-Is there any way we can change parked invoice with new GR(material number)?
-If we do MIRO again for new GR it allows to post it but Park invoice doesnt get disappared. we like, not to display parked invoice ir we do new MIRO for it. or
If we can post same parked document its better

If it is GR based IV, go for subsequent delivery.
otherwise post the IV and cancel it.and prepare new IV

Usage decision cancellation

Dear All,
For the manual inspection lot created i did RR. Then in the usage decision screen i enter decision as rejected and saved. status shows as UD ICCO STUP. Then i go to the functions and cancel lot. The status now shows as LTCA ICCO STUP. Then again i wanted to give the decision as accepted. that time a message occurs as LTCA Lot cancelled and STIC short term inspection cancelled.
1. can i change the usage decision results again after giving usage decision once?
2. what are the steps to do it?

Goto QA12 T-Code revert the Cancellation Status and SAVE
Again goto QA12 T-Code you can change the UD Code from R to A without any problem.
Normally if we want to change the UD Code no need to cancel the Insp. Lot diretcly through QA12 we can do it.

Hi Team,
I need to cancel material document XXXX on PO XXXX by using MBST transaction.
we have faced the problem as - In Purchase order, we need to cancel material document XX16 but the amount in GR was wrong and then I had to reverse the wrong amount and now I want to reverse the doc XX16 wih correct amount. How to process it?
Could you please tell me how to cancel it through MBST.

Not sure if I have understood your issue, is it that you want to cancel the GR material document?
You can do so in MIGO, select A03 Cancellation, provide the material document, and execute, is this what you want to do.
In case I have misinterpreted, then please explain a bit more, would be happy to help.

I would like to cancel a GR. I did it with MIGO, Movement type 102
Error: deficit of delivered quantity 380 KG although I have enough stock of this Material in this storage location.
How can I do it?
In MIGO I can only give the storage location. How can I check in which storage type MIGO looks to cancel the GR.

Hi,
Check out the stock type here while inwarding the material and cancellation. Have you cancel the document in Quality module like using usage decision.
Check out that and also check the Purchase order whether any line item is deleted or not.
Check the posting date of the document.
Check the delivery complition indicator in the PO, if you cancel the 102 mvt type document then it means you are inwarding the fresh stocks w.r.t PO. If the PO is open the system will definatly inward the material.
