Just need to get help for how to migrate contacts from Skype to Lync 2013 client ? Is there any special third party or Microsoft solutions to provide such service ?

I have a new MacBook Pro and I followed these instructions, downlonading and installing the new Flash plugin. But when I looked in "/Library/Internet Plugins" there was no folder called "Disabled Plugins".
However, I did see two versions of Flash:
_Flash Player.plugin with old date
Flash Player.plugin with todays date
I deleted _Flash Player.plugin and this fixed the problem.

No users are being migrated to the Unified Contact Store (UCS) for Lync 2013 - Exchange 2013

I'm having difficulty getting the unified contact store to work on a migrated Lync/Exchange environment. Both servers have been upgraded to 2013 CU2, and almost everything appears to be working properly...except UCS.
By default the global CsUserServicesPolicy has UcsAllowed set to True. In that mode, none of the Lync users were being migrated to UCS, so I set the global policy to False and created a new Policy called "AllowUCS" and set UcsAllowed to True. I then
assigned that policy to myself and a couple other test accounts. Still, my contacts are not being migrated to the UCS after logging in with Lync 2013.
Other Lync/Exchange integration features are working properly. I have set up OAuth, and it tests successfully, and Lync integration with OWA is working successfully, so I know at least some communication is happening properly between the servers.
Here is what I'm getting when I run some diagnostics from the Lync server:

Please make sure the user has been provisioned with an Exchange 2013 mailbox and has signed into the mailbox at least once.
If the user logs in with a Lync 2010 or earlier client, or if the user is not connected to an Exchange 2013 server, the user services policy is ignored and the user's contacts remain in Lync Server.
Please also check the registry key on the client computer:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\<SIP URL>\UCS
If the user's contacts are stored in Exchange 2013, this key contains a value of InUCSMode with a value of 2165.

Lync 2013 client is deployed but user accounts are not migrated from OCS to Lync 2013 Server - how to open Lync meetings automatically in the Lync Web Plug-in

We have in our enterprise the following scenario:
1 - Lync 2013 client is installed
2 - User accounts are not migrated to Lync 2013 Server, users are using Office Communicator as their main tool
3 - Users receive Lync 2013 meeting requests but when try to access them, Lync 2013 client launches and shows error. Users will need to open the browser and paste the URL to the address bar but this still open
4 - We cannot use the workaround of adding "?SL=1" to the Lync 2013 meeting URL as the user base is large and manual workaround is not accepted
5 - Question: is there any automated way, via egistry key or GPO setting, so that users temporarily (until their accounts are migrated to Lync 2013 server) can bypass Lync 2013 client completely and automatically open all Lync 2013 meetings
on the browser, using Lync Web Plug-in?

First, I should have mentioned clearly that users have Office Communicator 2007 client and Lync 2013 client installed in their machines. Their accounts are not migrated yet to Lync 2013 server.
Second, we are using IE9 and IE10. The issue is that users CAN join Lync 2013 meetings with their browsers but have to paste the URL manually to browser and add "?SL=1" otherwise, if they just click at the "Join Online Meeting" or "Join
Lync Meeting" URL it launches Lync 2013 client which shows error because is not configured yet, as they are using OCS client and migrating slowly to Lync 2013 server.
Is there a Group Policy setting or a registry key from Microsoft that can be turned on to these users machines and make will all Lync meeting requests to be opened in IE browser instead of Lync 2013 client. We need a way to ignore
Lync 2013 client until user accounts are migrated to Lync 2013 Server. Manually typing URLs is not an option in a big organization, can't explain thousands of users of different levels what to do.
We are regretting the decision not to separate Lync 2013 from Office 2013 package we deployed recently. If Lync 2013 is uninstalled then all Lync meeting requests are opened in browser without an issue.

Upgrading from OCS2007R2 to Lync 2013

We are looking to migrate our OCS 2007 R2 Enterprise, to Lync 2013.
We are running AD windows Server 2012 R2 functioanl level.
We have completed the schema,forest and domain prep for Lync 2013.
I have a few questions that you guys may be able to answer.
1.)
Can we upgrade from OCS 2007 R2 enterprise pool to LYNC 2013 standard pool.
2.)
Is there any concise documents out there that document how to upgrade form OCS 2007 R2 to Lync 2013.

Migration of all Lync Server topologies and server roles is supported. You can migrate from one topology to a different topology, including from Standard Edition server to Enterprise

Thanks for your reply. iOS Support helped me in the meantime. I had my settings set incorrectly under Mail, Contacts, Caldendars. I had Default Account checked as Exchange when it should hva been checked
as iCloud.

Can't move Users from On Premise Lync 2013 to Lync Online (Office 365)

I try to move a single User from a local Lync Installation to Office 365 Lync. Everything is working locally, but in the Lync Powershell i face the following error:
The User with the following SIP-URI can't be found in the Active Directory. HostedMigration fault: Error = 201.
I didn't found anything on the web for the Error 201.
The User exists, and is synchronised with Azure AD eg Office 365. He has an E4 Plan.
Help would be very appreciated!

Adding Skype for business contacts from skype

Hi everyone,
We've just made the move from Skype, to Skype for business, and I have logged in, merged my account etc and still dont have any of my Skype contacts appearing in Skype for business.
The only option I can see at the moment is to add all of the same people again in a different application? Surely that can't be the case as that makes Skype for business almost entirely pointless,.... any tips?

Public Folder Migration Fails from Exchange 2007 to 2013

I am attempting to sync public folders between Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2013. All the data has been copied over to the Exchange 2013 server but I am getting an error when creating the folders and their permissions.
I saw a previous thread which looked similar and I have set the bad item limit to one million as well as set mail-disable on the source public folders but I am still receiving these errors.
I set the following commands
Get-PublicFolderMigrationRequest | Set-PublicFolderMigrationRequest -baditemlimit 1000000
Get-PublicFolderMigrationRequest | Resume-PublicFolderMigrationRequest
and on the source mailbox server:

Migrating from PC to Mac and want to migrate contacts from Outlook

Hi
I have recently bought a Mac and I'm in the process of migrating off my PC. Currently I sync my iPhone with Outlook and so I have my contacts and calendar in Outlook format. Is there a way to sync my iPhone with the Mac so that my contacts will all migrate over, and importantly keep the Outlook categories (Mac groups).
I have tried exporting in a comma delimited file from Outlook, but it simply dumps all the 4000+ address records into a single group, ie the Outlook categories are lost.
I had thought of using contacts in Entourage instead, however iSync doesn't present this as an option. It appears that the iPhone can only sync with Mac address book.
Appreciate all assistance.

iSync doesn't sync with the iPhone at all - it is for non-Apple mobile phones only.
You can sync Entourage with Address Book by turning on Sync Services support in its preferences.

How can I export contacts from iphone to Outlook 2013?

I am trying to export my contact on my iphone to MS Outlook 2013. Cannot seem to find anything about this for Office 2013.

Did you meet any connect issue between Lync and Exchange Server?
If there is no issue you could find, please check if Lync Server and Exchange Server update to the latest version. If not, update them then check if the error message appear again.

Migrating Views from SP 2010 to 2013

is there a way to import/export custom List Views from SP 2010 to SP 2014?
One of our Lists, which we are importing, has 25 custom views and recreating each one from scratch is a rather long and tiresome process. So a way to import and export custom views would be very helpful.
