    welcome to the Community,
Before upgrading have you got your backup on desktop software ?
If yes then can , then connect your device to BB desktop software > On BB Desktop software Click applications>
There you can see all you application List before your upgrade.
Select on the Application that you want to transfer  then Click APPLY.
If  your Lost  Apps are paid APPS. and you are not able get it than look at this thread link reinstalling paid apps

  • Reinstalling App on new device

Recently updated to 9930.  Trying to "reinstall" wemee date and time application and BlackBerry World keeps routing to me to a place where it is asking me to pay again.
Why can't I simply reinstall that application without paying for it again?
    Help, please.
    Thanks.

There is some anecdotal evidence that the scripts on the Apple site that are supposed to detect the version of Windows you are running may fail for some users - jumping straight to the "Thank you for downloading ..." page with the installer not having been downloaded.  As an alternative, you can go directly to the relevant downloads:
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe
    iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe
See turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for more details if you're still having problems with installation.

  • HT4859 If I have the app turned off for storage in iCloud does this mean the app can not be downloaded to a new device?

    Manage Storage.
    1.  What am I deleting specifically when this message appears "Are you sure you want to turn off CNN backups and delete the backup data from the cloud?
    2.  If I have the app turned off for storage in iCloud does this mean the app can not be downloaded to a new device?
    3.  If I have the app turned off for storage in iCloud and I delete the app off my phone can I download the app again or do I have to repurchase the app?

Every app that you buy or get for free in appstore/itunes belongs to you and can be downloaded on up to 10 devices or saved on up to 5 computers. Instructions to download apps to new devices here
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
Here comes a "BUT" - imagine your kid playing game and getting to level 51 and have to start over from level one. Or imagine that history that you have in your CNN app. That is what icloud backup contains. My 500 scifi books are in one of the app backups and I REALLY do not want to lose it. That is what you would turn off.

  • IWork for iPhone 5 free (after buying a new device)

Hi, (I'm german please don't blame my englisch )
I bought my iphone 5 a year ago on its release date. Now I heard iWork (Pages. Numbers. Keynote.) is for free but only for devices which are only currently aktivated in September 2013. I understand the face that Apple only want to give those Apps to new devices.
Now my question I want to buy an iPad of the younger generation, maybe iPad Air or the new iPad mini. When i activate the device are those apps for free? and if they are, only for the new device? or for all the devices? It would be cool to know
    Thanks ahead for your replies!
    With kind regards

Those are universal apps. Once you own them, you can install them on any iOS device you own.

  • What happens to the apps' data, if they were restored to a new device, but apps never get installed?

This is a super easy scanario.
Say in my old phone I have totally 50 apps, 30 purchased under Appel ID (A), and another 20 purchased under a different Apple ID, (B).
The old device is iOS5 and I turned on iCloud backup and back up everything (data of all apps).
I get a new device, restore from iCloud, wait until everything (photo, messages, settings, most importantly, data of all 50 apps) are restoed to the new phone.
The first thing happen after the first reboot, and it will prompt me to log on my Apple ID, to install apps.
What if, at this moment I decied to only sign on with Apple ID (A), and just don't want to use all 20 apps that I purchased under Apple ID (B) anymore?
Is the data of those 20 apps become leftover /  orphane on my new phone, and just no way to clean them up?  Please notice again, that I did not say "install app and then delete", I know that will clean up the data as well. I mean when data is copied over but app never get installed.

Game settings and other data is part of the backup:
    iTunes: About iOS backups
A manual backup before you sync for the first time will save your content to the new PC.

  • I have 3 apple devices and I use the same apple ID for all 3.  I would like to create a new I'd for one of my devices, but do not want to loose the apps on that device.  Anyone know how I can do this?

I have 3 apple devices and I use the same apple ID for all 3.  I would like to create a new I'd for one of my devices, but do not want to loose the apps on that device.  Anyone know how I can do this?

    Create a new ID:
    On the iPod go to
    - Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into the other one. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.
    - Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into the other one. Make sure that under You can be reached at only the newID email address is listed
    - Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with the new one
    - Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out your ID and sign in with the new one.
    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.

Call Apple's online store's telesales agents: 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753) or Customer Service and Sales Support at 1-800-676-2775. For Lion you'll get a redemptions code via e-mail and need to DL from the Mac Apple Store (requires SL 10.6.6+).

How can I find out what my security answers are? I am trying to purchase an app on a new device and it won't let me without answering and I have totally forgotten

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.

  • Ok I can't seem to get my apps, music, or photos from my iCloud from when I first setup iCloud on a iPhone 4. How do I get my things back from the iCloud and get them to my new device?

Ok I can't seem to get my apps, music, or photos from my iCloud from when I first setup iCloud on a iPhone 4. How do I get my things back from the iCloud and get them to my new device?

If you no longer have the phone or have any Backup of it at all, you can re-download your apps and your content from the iTunes Store by logging into your Apple ID at settings> iTunes & App Store. Unfortunately you can no longer recover the data that was associated with those apps.
So far as your photos go, you can recover any photos that were in photo stream and taken less than 30 days ago by logging in with your Apple ID to settings> iCloud> photos. Unfortunately you will be unable to recover any photos from your camera roll.

From the iTunes Store, yes, all your iOS devices running on the same account will qualify.

  • In app purchases when transferring to a new device?

Here is my situation.  My sons ipod touch is cracked so I want to transfer his data to my old iPhone 4.  My hope is that I will be able to transfer all of his apps and his in app purchases over to the new device.  So far I have backed up the old Ipod touch and then resored it to the iPhone.  So far so good but the in app purchases have not transfered.   Is there something I have missed? I just want to easily clone the one device to another.
any direction would be very welcome
    Thanks

    Did you follow these instructions?
iOS: Transferring information from your current iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device
If you restore from iTunes backup all the apps have to be in the iTunes library in order for the apps date (includes in-app purchases) to go.
