Migrating to 2014 from CS6 CC: Where did my changed documents go?

Just spent a day editing documents that I originally started in CS6, but now I have 2014. Saved, shut down. Done.  Came back later. Guess what? No changes. They appear not to have been modified at all. What's up with that? Whole afternoon lost.
New docs started in 3014 are fine.

Found them! When I pressed save, they went into the folder with my new files AS new files instead of being saved in their old folder as new versions of themselves. What a relief!

  • I've migrated my photos from PC. Where will I find them now?

I've migrated my photo files from PC using Migration Assistant. Where should I find the files now?

Depending on what computer & OS X you have installed
the details may vary, as could suggestions...
Usually a new-user account is created and these items
may be found in there. Not sure if that relates to your
    situation however.
You could look for them in Spotlight, if they'd have the same
file names, to see where they went, if not in a new account.
An older view, involving earlier OS X systems; may not involve PC.

  • Printing images from CS6. Where is the Output box?

I have been successfully printing images from CS3 on an Epson 3880. Now that I have had to upgrade to CS6, I have a big problem. In CS3 When I went Print-> Photoshop Manages Colors to choose an ICC color profile, there would be a companion Output box, where I could drag the Transfer slider down to brighten the image. I can't find Output in CS6! Since choosing Photoshop Manages Colors turns off the printer's color etc controls, I'm stuck with dark prints and no way to control brightness. Any help HUGELY appreciated.

Print-> Photoshop Manages Colors to choose an ICC color profile, there would be a companion Output box, where I could drag the Transfer slider
"Photoshop Manages Colors" disables the printer sliders under CS6 Photoshop
a proper Source-to-Print conversion should 'match' your monitor
just for grins try reviewing the updates/troubleshooting/workflow here: printing CS6
also recommend using a known good file like the PDI WhackedRGB reference file available on my link...

  • Pick queue item to work on, check "Also remove item from queue(s)" - where did it go?

We recently upgraded from CRM 2011 to 2015.
When users pick a queue item to work on, and check "Also remove item from Queue" - where does it go?  I cannot find a view that lists these items anywhere???

Hi This depends on, which entity is in the queue. If it is an opportunity it could be found in opportunities If it is an email it could be found in activities etc. If you upgraded from crm2013, where could you find it before update to crm2015? Hope it
    helps. Gr.peb

  • I just downloaded a movie rental from iTunes. Where did it go?? It's not in downloads, purchased or anywhere that I can see.

Just downloaded a rental movie to iPad, It's not showing up in purchased, downloads, or anywhere else I can tell. When I reselect the movie from movie section, it says it's downloaded
On my desktop, it created a separate section called "rentals"

Downloaded films (and those synced from your computer) should be in the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store) :

  • Where did the change color option go it was in elements 10

In older versions of photoshop elements you could go to enhance and then at the bottom of that list you could "change color" what happened to that option?  I LOVED it and used it all the time when colors did not come out correctly.

Color Variations has been removed from PSE12 if that’s what you’re talking about:

  • Where did my changes go?

    Lion 10.7.3 iTunes 10.5.3 (3)
I just imported a CD (I thought) and while I was importing it, I changed numerous entries in the Get Info pannel -- none of those changes "stuck."
I also cannot find those songs in my Music Library.
If I re-insert the CD... those changes appear on the "Devices" entry.
Clearly something has radically changed in in iTunes as this is radically different behaviour than in the past. (It's been a while since I tried to import a CD, sometime back in Snow Leopard says (July 2011).
Can I no longer play this music unless the CD is inserted in the Mac?

If it is "ai" it should retain the Layer data unless it was saved in a "legacy" AI format such as "Illustrator 3".
Illustrator does NOT have a "history" feature, purse". As long as a file is opened "undo" will act as a "linear" history (limited by RAM). Once a file is closed all history is lost.
FYI… If saved as PDF or legacy AI format vector data should still be available, but  "Clipping Masks" may have been introduced and must be deleted. The easiest way to do this is to "Select All Clipping Masks" using "Select>Object>Clipping Masks" and hit delete.
Now select the elements and redistribute them on new layers. To do this:
    Create new Layers
    Select objects to be moved
Drag "Selection icon" (color square at right of current layer) to new layer
This will move all selected items to the new layer.

  • Migration of content from Subversion repository

Hi.  I'm trying to migrate some content from some subversion (svn) repositories into SharePoint document libraries.  Since I don't currently have .NET-based svn-reading capabilities, I've got my content in another application that was then calling into the SharePoint copy web service.  With this I can get almost everything I need, but not quite everything.  I want to be able to retain the check-in author, check-in date, and check-in comment from my svn metadata, but I don't see how to force that information into my document library at the time that I upload my document.
So, how can I create a document in a versioned document library that will allow me to supply my own specific author, modified-by user, and check-in comment?  I am also not opposed to just buying a standalone product that does this, but I can't seem to find anything like it.
    thanks,
    Chris

    Interesting topic..
We use Tortoise/SVN heavily for our team development.
We use it for maintaining all kinds of code stuff. VBS, C#, PowerShell, IPF, AU3 etc....
It's sooo easy to work with, but the backend is either a file share or an  Apache web server.
Currently there does not seem to exist an IIS backend or even a Sharepoint solution.
We have been toying with embedding SVN in IIS/MOSS 2007 since versioning is build in there.
The problem is IMHO the SVN protocol must be implemented in a special MOSS feature and you also need to access the backend trough a web part in order to upload/download subscribe to a repository.
Supplying the mandatory comment attributes can be done in MOSS in the document library settings by adding columns and making them required.
We do that kind of stuff in combination with a special autonumbering feature in order to create unique ID numbers for each document.
I've googled a while about this subject, but there is no real solution in IIS/Sharepoint as far as I know.

  • Where oh where has my little document gone?

Where did my saved document go? Is it on a cloud some where? How do I access my saved document? It is not on my computer.

The saved document is wherever you put it on your system.  Default download locations differ from machine to machine.  If you couldn't find it on your system, you may just want to convert the file again.
