We have activated the Document Splitting Function in the 5th period.
Is there any way that the Document Splitting Function be activated for documents already posted from Period 1st to 4th.
If you can help us by providing a solution for this issue, it will be very nice of you.

How to open mail on old PPC 10.5.8 after data migration to MBP?

After an Apple consultant migrated the data for me from the old to the new, I can no longer open mail on the 10.5.8 I can send email, and receive it, but I cannot open it. Keep all your e-mail on an IMAP account. That way both machines can check into it. MInd you, once you copy it to the local hard drive of the one machine, the other can't read it simultaneously.

Data Link after data migration

In a scenario during data migration from R/3 to Ecc. If we migrate the data related to orders, deliveries, invoices separately, how will we able to link these orders, deliveries and invoices after migration. As we will be giving new number ranges too for them.

Problems query data after data migration to Hana

Hi We currently have 2 BW environments: Release: 701 SP-Level: 0014 Support Package: SAPKW70114 DB: No Hana Release: 740 SP-Level: 0005 Support Package: SAPKW74005 DB: Hana It was necessary to migrate data cubes BW 701 -> BW 740, because in ECC only history of the last 18 months is maintained. After this migration, when I make a query in Query Designer and I use between in "Filters and Restrictions" no returned values, but if I include the value and not use the between the values are displayed. For example: I created a query with: one key figure, Comp_Code, Material and Fiscper. On filters and restrictions I informed that should return only the materials between 0001 and 0003. When running the query does not return values, but if I change the filter to only return materials 0001, 0002 and 0003, the query returns data. Note .: This problem occurs only with the migrated data from the BW 701, loads of ECC deltas are functioning normally. Could you help me solve this issue? Best Regards

Important point: I found that if you run the query in RSRT "Execute + Debug" button and do not use the option "Do not use SAP HANA / BWA Index (0)" the query runs without problems.
Additional Information:
- BW on Hana environment 740 is a new installation.
- To load the historical data for the BW on Hana was created an RFC with the BW 701, classic BW as source system to new BW HANA.
- BW 701 was generated Export Data Sources ( From cube to cube, from DSO to DSO) and we used of data sources to migrate historical data.
- Then BW on Hana is a new installation, but only the historical data were extracted from the BW 701 (no Hana)
- Export Data source generated on DSO data is ok, but the Data source of export from a cube, data is not ok. After data load this historical data, when I make a query in Query Designer and I use between in "Filters and Restrictions" no returned values, but if I include the value and not use the between the values are displayed, but the problem occurs only in the query on the Cube.
- Are there any recommended when historical data is extracted on the Cube by Export Data Source?

After data migration CC Desktop is blank

I've just bought a new iMac and migrated my data from my old macbook. When I run Creative Cloud Desktop it shows a blank box. The gear icon only gives me the options Help, Open as Window or Quit. I've contacted support three times and they've had me run a cleanup tool, delete various files and directories in both /library/Application Support/Adobe and ~/library/Application Support/Adobe. Each time I was disconnected before the issue was resolved, twice while using Online Chat and once by phone. I'm starting to get a complex. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

Error while migrating BLOB data

Hi ,
I am migrating the data from oracle to oracle and both soruce and target tables have BLOB type field.
I am getting error when I am executing the interface with these blob fields. But My interface is successfull if I am not maaping this blob files.
Below is the error message.
ODI-1217: Session BLOB (162501) fails with return code 942.
ODI-1226: Step BLOB fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1240: Flow BLOB fails while performing a Loading operation. This flow loads target table IMAGES.
ODI-1228: Task SrcSet0 (Loading) fails on the target ORACLE connection YAGLD.
Caused By: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

Kernel panic after time machine migration after clean install of 107.3

I had the hard drive replaced in in my mid 2009 17" MacBook pro. After the clean install of lion I migrated my data from time machine (lion) to the new clean partition.. Upon completion the machine is unresponsive. The progress wheel turning for 10 minutes. I force quit and restart to kernel panic. I have been through this 3 times same sequence of events same results. Any ideas?

I can't migrate my data from my old pc to my new macbook pro

Hi,
I have been trying to migrate my data from my PC to my new mac but it always seems to fail.
At first, I would begin the migration assistant and then after a while the PC would just crash.
But then I finally thought I managed to get it working. It said that process was complete (on both the PC and mac), but there was no data on my computer and no music in my iTunes.
If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it!!
PS I also have an Ethernet cable if that's of any use but I don't know how to use it.

I suggest you stop using the Migrastion Assistant. Simple fact is, as you have found out, that it does not work most of the time and when it fdoes actuall transfer data it doesn't do it very well.
Just network the 2 computer together over your LAN and copy and past the files you want to move to the Mac.
Otr use an External drive, formatted either FAT32 or exFAT (doinig the formatting on the Windows PC) and then copy to the external from the Win PC and then copy from the external to the Mac.
You'll be happier.

How to migrate the data from DB to another DB

             In my project I have one requirement. Let me explain in detail we are maintain two databases one for
             master database called *GIIS* and one is history database HIST. Both DB version is 10g R1.
             (Both DB’s have same no table as well structures)
             1. The GIIS database contains nearly 400 tables (master table as well as temporary table)
                   each Master table having it’s own temporary table.
             2. Whenever we made the entry first it will go to temporary table after authorized that entry it will move to the master table
             3. But the temporary table contains the data after move to master table .
             4.     The temporary table data’s will be move to the HIST database each and every day at the night.
                This migration we done through the procedure. After migration complete the temporary table data’s will de deleted.
My Question:
           1.     Whether it’s good practice to migrate the data from GIIS DB to another HIST DB using oracle stored procedure.
                 (we created the DB link from GIIS to HIST)
           2.     If not can any one suggest me the way to migrate the data from GIIS to HIST.?
           3.     Is there any other possibility to migrate the data from GIIS to HIST with out using procedure?Thanks

If the client doesn't know how to do exp/imp, I would really doubt and would be immensely concerned before suggesting the client any other way. If they don't know, tell them that there is a concept called test database which is used for learning so they should invest time to learn this technique since the other options suggested by fellow members are far more tougher than this one.

Process to migrate configuration data from one BW development system to other

We need to migrate configuration data from one BW system DE1 to DE2.. Both systems are SAP net weaver 7.3.
DE1 is BW pre-production system and DE2 is BW DEV.
No transactional data required.

Remote Client Copy (SCC9)
Remote client copy is performed in rare situation. When the client copy is done
between two different SAP systems, the copy is called remote client copy.
Before remote client copy is performed, a RFC connection must be set between those
systems using SM59.
1. Check RFC connection is working fine between two systems you want to perform
remote client copy using SM59
2. create client in the target system you want to copy the client
3. login to target client using user SAP* and password PASS
4. execute tcode SCC9 and select the RFC for the source system
5. select the profile you want to copy like SAP_ALL
6. select source client number you want to copy
7. Select source client master data , mostly it is the same client number
8. Now click on schedule as background job.
9. Leave the background server field blank.
10. Click schedule.
11. Select Immediate from next screen.
12. Save the screen.
13. Client copy is scheduled now as a background job and client copy process started.
14. The progress can be monitored using tcode SCC3
Client Export/Import
A client transport consists of two steps:
First a client export extracts client data from the source client
to files at the operating system level. Then the data is imported
from the operating system files into the target client.
To perform a client export, follow these steps:
1. Log on to the source client. From the SAP initial screen,
choose transaction SCC8 (Client Export). Select the data to
be copied using a profile.
2. Indicate the target system to which the client will be copied.
The target system must be defined in TMS as part of the
transport domain.
3. Begin the client export. Because copying is a lengthy
process, use scheduled background processing.
Do not run any other client copy tool before the
data export is finished.
This export process will generate up to three data files at the
operating system level:
• RO< number >: this file contains cross-client data
• RT< number >: this file contains client-specific data
• RX< number >: this file contains SAPscript texts
Depending on the type of data selected through the client
transport profile, the client copy command files added to the
buffer of the target system are as follows:
• <S-SID>KO<number>: this file is for cross-client data
• <S-SID>KT<number>: this file is for client-specific data
• <S-SID>KX<number>: this file is SAPscript texts
The client export change requests are not imported when an
Import all takes place. Therefore, you must import these requests into the target client
using TMS. Choose one of the transport requests of the client transport in the Transport
Management System (TMS). The other transport requests belonging to this client
transport are then automatically added in the correct order.
After the import process has completed, post-import activities are required for object
generation steps. After completing the import, log on to the target client. From the SAP
systems initial screen, choose transaction SCC7

The migration seemed to be successful even though it was a 2005.ocp and far as I can see all database objects created
When migrating the DATA, SQLDeveloper created scripts for dos2unix oracle_ctl.sh
I am running Oracle11gR2 in Windows7 Prof sp1
Can SQLDeveloper create scripts for migrating the DATA to Oracle11g on a Windows7 platform?
If not, I can try using SSIS to extract from SQLServer and load into Oracle, but if I do that, what happens to the referential integrity and constraints, esp the FK constraints if not inserted in sequence?

Thanks for the reply. I encounter yet again the issue with username/password when the oracle_ctl.bat batch file tried to execute the instructions and pre- and post-SQL scripts. I am thinking I have to go in and modify the .bat scripts myself...
I have seemingly successfully created the Northwind database in Oracle and the next step is to migrate the data for which SQLDeveloper has set up
the batch file and a shell script in the directory mssqlservermigration\Data.
The file names are oracle_ctl.bat, oracle_ctl.sh, pre_load.sql and post_load.sql
But when I ran oracle_ctl.bat, it throws following error messages ( and because of it, many more error messages followed after that, locking some
unkown account)

IPhoto in MacBook Pro 2013 only shows "place holders," but no photos, after data transfer from Macbook Air 32011

I am trying to transfer data from my MacBook Air 2011 to a "new" MacBook Pro 2013. Both are running Yosemite 10.10.2. Since Migration Assistant WOULD NOT WORK (the MacBook Air couldn't "see" the MacBook Pro), using my WiFi network, I transferred the necessary data to a 500GB drive and THEN to the MacBook Pro. However, two programs didn't transfer well - or at all! iTunes only transferred the Music (Media?) files, but not iTunes U, Podcasts, Audiobooks, etc. I have had to drill down into the storage files, retrieve the non-transferred files and add them, one by one - a most laborious task. But, this is nothing compared to the problem with iPhoto (9.6), which shows only 6 events and 4 Faces transferred, with the rest only place holders (black boxes and grey dotted squares) in all the folders in my iPhoto.
I "Showed Package Contents," and found the missing files - of which there are many! - and started adding them, again, one by one.
Can anyone tell me what happened to my iPhoto (Yosemite 10.10.2)? It's fine on my MacBook Air, but simply WON'T TRANSFER to my MacBook Pro?
PLEASE - someone tell me how to CORRECTLY transfer my iPhoto files and/or HOW TO MAKE THE MACBOOK AIR "SEE" THE MACBOOK PRO in Migration Assistant?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with moving your data over to your new Mac. There are a few alternatives that you can do to migrate that data if you are not seeing it in Migration Assistant. The first is make a Time Machine back up to that 500 Gb external hard drive and then use that in Migration Assistant to copy the entire data over. If you do that you will want to remove any data that you have on your MacBook Pro after the transfer completes as it will create another user with the data from the MacBook Air. Another option is to use a Thunderbolt Cable that you can purchase online if you want and use the option from another disk to copy that over. Take a look at the articles below for more details.

Problem while Migrating user data from 10g to 11gR2

Hi experts,
I am trying to Migrate users data(including password and security questions) from 10g to 11gR2 what approach i have followed is..
From 10g using API i retrieved users data including password and security questions and i stored all information into hashmap. This is one java program.
And then i am trying to create that user in 11gR2 using API which i retrieved from 10g . From this 11g program i am creating object of 10g and i am using that hash map to retrieve user information.But i am not getting connection to 10g , it is throwing exception like unknown application server.Both sides i used API only as it is recommended to use API instead of JDBC connection.
Help me in this regard ASAP and suggest if there is any other approach to Migrate users data.

By using Trusted Recon, you won't be able to Fetch Password as it is.
Since your goal is to fetch passwords too, please follow another approach.
You won't be able to get connection to both 10g and 11g simultaneously in the same program.
So, break this task in 2 phases. First connect with 10g, fetch user data in CSV format and then connect with 11G and read this CSV to create users.
Once users are created properly, use APIs for creating challenge questions and answers.
I think, you are getting exception like unknown application server because you are trying to connect to both 10g and 11g environments simultaneously.
Follow the following steps:-
(1) By using 10G APIsyou can't obtain password of user profile in decrypted form. So, Fetch password by using tcDataProvider. It will give you plain text password.
(2) In a custom scheduler written in 10g, retrieve this data in CSV. After all you can't store this info in
String query = "SELECT USR_LOGIN, USR_PASSWORD, USR_FIRST_NAME, USR_LAST_NAME FROM USR";//Add all fields which you want to retrieve from your 10G
(3) Use this query, tcDataProvider, tcDataSet and Java I/O (or any other CSV Third Party tool like the ones obtained in csv.jar in XL_HOME/ext folder) fetch this info in a CSV.
(4) Once CSV is generated, 10g machine is no more needed. Connect with 11g using 11g APIs. Write your custom 11G scheduler in order to read this CSV and use 11g APIs and create users for each record.
(5) Once user records are created in 11g, the difficult part is done. Transfer the Security questions too by using this CSV technique.

Migrate user data from SLES10sp3 OES2sp3 to new hardware

Hi,
I am trying to migrate user data on a nss volume from a SLES10sp3 and
OES2sp3 server to new hardware already setup with SLES10sp3 and OES2sp3.
Authentication and configuration of the data selection is sorted. After
starting the data transfer I get a message saying the migration failed.
Below is the error from the log file:

I have not setup to get update from the Novell channel as I have an issue
with connecting to the update channel but I will deal with that later.
I tried to run a miggui to migrate my data to the new server with SLES10sp3
and OES2sp3. Below is the entire log file, I have highlighted the error at

Migrating runtime data

Hi,
is it possible to migrate runtime data from a runtime repository (v10.1.0.2) to a new 10.2.0.3 repository if this last one is NOT a so-called unified repository?
Because when I want to "Move" (cc_migrate.bat) audit data from the old repo to the new one, I can't as the "Move" button is greyed ...
Does anybody have an idea how to do this?

Hi,
The good news is that you can directly import your 10.1.0.2 mdl into a 10.2.0.3 repository, I have done it on my Windows 32bit workstation!
It will just mention that your '9.2 mdl', your 10.1 mdl in fact, needs to be upgrade and do it himself on the fly!!!
It works perfectly...you just need to re-register the locations after the upgrade-import is done...
