Migration Assistant can see my wife's backups, but not mine

Just bought new iMac, trying to use migration assistant and Time Machine to setup the new mac just like my MacBook Pro. But when I get into Migration Assistant, it shows me only my wife's backups, and says there is only 1 available, even though my MacBook Pro is backing up constantly. Any ideas?

What is your "wife's backups"?
Time Machine backs up the entire Mac.

I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

Opening a new file in photoshopcc and the file name is displayed but no white working canvas. you can see it as a layer in the layers panel and if i draw on the grey area i can see int on the layer but not on the main screen.

It does you are looking in the wrong place
either the date of the photo is incorrect or the event sort is wrong (view menu ==> sort events)
You also can select a photo in "photo view" and show event to find the event

I have almost done with AP Check printing using BI publisher I can see the MICR in PDF but not Printing on Printer It is printing as normal font... I missed something?

Have you tried installing and updating apps from the iPhone itself?
If you have restrictions enabled go to settings>general>restrictions and make sure "Installing Apps" is on.

However the trick is that it cannot download at all.I m asked to download the application. Then I put my Apple ID, then it start to download but just 1s... Then ....Nothing. No application, no error message... Just a nice invoice....

Xsan: Can see all LUNS on cvadmin but not using cvlabel

So i'm seeing a weird thing. I can see all LUNS on cvadmin, but i cannot see them using cvlabel, and hence it cannot mount it through pref pane -> Xsan. Anyone seen this behavior? The volume is a stornext FS.
Zoning is correct, and it actually mounts correctly the first time, but if you reboot it won't mount.

Did you manage to figure this out? What ATTO driver did you install? The MP (Multipathing) driver or the regular one? Unless all your devices support multipathing, the MP driver can cause issues with LUN visibility (you'll see duplicate LUNs etc.).

I have an ipad2 3g i fully restored to iOS 5.1 and on its last phase of restore it will gives me an error -1, and will reboot in recovery mode.
i tried tinyUmbrella to kick it out of recovery mode, it will start but will stay on apple Logo.
i checked my host file still nothing

I just bought a new MacBook Pro 15" and I wanted to transfer my old files from a previous Time Machine backup done with my old MacBook Pro 15".
Both computers have Mac OS X 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion) installed.
I always used Migration Assistant without any problem to accomplish this task, but now I don't know why it's stuck on a screen displaying "Looking for other computers...". What? What computer? I'm trying to restore from a Time Machine backup on an external hard drive, so I don't understand what computer it is looking for.
Do you have any idea to solve the problem?

I can see a photo in Finder but not in iPhotos

Sorry to be a pain, i am sure the answer tothis question is simple, but as a new convert to Apple i am not familiar with the wrinkles.
i can see a photo in some view but not in iphoto.
Finder gives the file name, all details about the camera etc and even say it is in the Library :- Users/rosedayjo/Pictures/MacB iPhoto Library/Originals/2010/Last 12 Months
But of course when i go to the directory to which it refers i cant import this photo from there to reestablish it in the library because it says it is already in the library!.
So,
1. how does a photo seem to be in a library but is not.
2. how to i get to the file to return it into the library,

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.

On my mac i accidentally deleted all my documents and now i cant play my songs from itunes but can on my phone and my photos are there but when i open them they are not but i can see some on my iphone but not all. How do i get these back or are they lost?

I accidentally dleted all my documents and emptyed the trash can. I can play my music on my iphone but not through my mac because it says it cant locate the file/original and my photos are on my computer but when i double click to open them they come up with an ! however some of the photos are on my iphone but just the ones i took using the camera function. Can i get this stuff back or it lost forever.....

At the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.
I purchased everything under the same apple ID account I called apple support and spent almost 2 hours with tech support for assistance and we got disconected and they never called me back.
I'm at the point where I'm about to never purchase anything anymore from apple go to another company retrieve every single charge made on my bank account from iTunes and file a law suit against the company. It's being a week that I called for assistance and no one called me back to help me with this matter even after I responded a survey with a complaint about not getting a resolution to my problem.
If you could please help me I will appreciate, I'm out of the country now and can't stay on the phone for a long time.
I need to sell my old phone but as right now besides all my bank statements the old phone is the only evidence that I purchased the songs.

I'm encountering I think, a weird issue. I change my iphone recently, and for some reasons, when I synced my new one, I got back everything but my recent contacts. When I go on Icloud online, same thing, I can see only my 'old contact'. BUT, when I want to write a new text, I type on the '+' to add a number, and boom, I have all of them. But still not seeable in the contacts.... That's kind of annoying...Any ideas that could sort this out ?

I can see the video in Prelude, but not Premiere

I recorded an event with two cameras. One is a DSLR, the other is not. I can see all the footage in Prelude, but the non-DSLR footage will not export to Premiere. How can I fix this? Why is this happening?
I also tried importing directly into Premiere. That won't work either.

What are the details of the video that doesn't work?
