Migration from Laserfiche to SharePoint 2013

Hi Guys,
is there a migration tool or any other method that allows the migration from Laserfiche (MYSQL Database) to SharePoint 2013?
The document to be migrated are encryted so the tool has to perform some decryption method before submitting the documents to SharePoint.
Thanks for the help,
Alex

  • Can only access emails through OWA after migration from exchange 2007 to 2013

can only access emails through OWA after migration from exchange 2007 to 2013, in other words unable to access mails through outlook or from other Applications services.
    needed RCA ... plz help..

    Hi,
From your description, you can send and receive messages only when you use OWA after migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. If I have misunderstood your concern, please let me know.
In your case, I recommend you create a new test mailbox in your Exchange 2013 and check if you can send and receive messages on Outlook. If yes, it is recommended to create a new profile to solve this issue.
Hope this can be helpful to you.

  • How to migrate from exchange 2007 to 2013 step by step tutorials please

    Hi
I am running Windows Server 2008 standard, with exchange 2007 SP2 on it.
We have 800 mailbox in total
    Our domain controllers are
Win2012 R2 and I would like to upgrade to Exchange 2013 on Windows server 2012 R2.
I am running a VM, on VMware environment, so my Windows 2012 R2 is a VM.
Is there a website or document that explains in detail, step by step how to upgrade from 2007 to 2013.
I currently only have 1 exchange server 2007, with all the roles on the one server.  I would like to keep that same as
    well with exchange 2013.
    Thanks

Exchange server deployment assistant is always a good service provider to achieve this task as it simply ask few questions about your current environment and proceed further accordingly.
You can refer to this blog explained by technet team that will assist you further to gather more information in depth : http://blogs.technet.com/b/meamcs/archive/2013/07/25/part-1-step-by-step-exchange-2007-to-2013-migration.aspx
Moreover, to avoid the interruptions and proceed a hassle-free migration from exchange 2007 to 2013, this application (http://www.exchangemigrationtool.com/) could also be a good approach to accomplish
migration task in more secure way.

  • How to hide libraries from breadcrumb in SharePoint 2013?

    Hi,
How to hide libraries from breadcrumb in SharePoint 2013? just we want to display parent and least node like below,
    Home Site > Test page
    not like,
Home Site > Pages > Test page
Please help us to resolve this.
    Thanks., Prakash

    hi
OTB breadcrumb have many problems, e.g. it doesn't work properly also with friendly urls. The simplest way is to create custom breadcrumb, e.g. as shown here:

  • Issue in Custom Blog site definition based on SharePoint 2010 blog site definition after migrating the sites to SharePoint 2013 and site collection upgrade

I have created a custom blog site definition using SharePoint 2010 blog site definition with Configuration ID 31 in onet.xml (new value). This was working fine for SharePoint 2010.
We created new SharePoint 2013 farm and deployed the all Custom solutions in
14/15 folders. After migrating the sites to SharePoint 2013 using Content DB approach, site created previously using my custom definition are working fine.
But after running site collection upgrade these sites stop working. When I post a comment then comments not getting listed on post detail page. However comments are getting added to Comments List but
PostTitle column  of Comment is not getting populated.
Also, when we create a new site in SharePoint 2013 using my custom blog template then that is also not getting provisioned.  default.aspx and look-up between post and comment list are not working.
If any one has faced such issue then please share your findings and any solution to fix this.
    Thanks in Advance :)

    Hi ,
According to your description, my understanding is that the blog based on custom blog site definition didn’t work correctly after migrating custom blog site definition to SharePoint 2013.
If you customized the Onet.xml file in a previous version's site definition, you should modify some sections in the file to work in the current version, like  <BaseTypes> and  <ListTemplate>  etc. More information, please refer
    to the link below:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/aa543837(v=office.14).aspx
For that the PostTitle column  of Comment is not getting populated, please try to modify the view, then compare the result.
    I hope this helps.

  • Generate reports from lists in SharePoint 2013 (Office 365)

    Hello everyone,
We are in the need to generate reports from lists in SharePoint 2013. The reports would do data mingling between lists (like a relational database) and generate the reports in HTML and maybe a link to pdf on the SharePoint site.
We are currently generating reports in Access. This is an issue for two reasons:
Reports cannot be generated on the fly. Whenever we want reports in pdf form, we have to go into Access and run our reports macro written in VBA. It essentially generates the reports as pdf into our synced SkyDrive, which syncs it to our SharePoint site
Report generation cannot be done by the client. This is due to the same concept as (1). We need to generate reports in Access.
Is there any way to do this in SharePoint 2013? Are there any apps that do this?
Any guidance or help would be appreciated.
FYI: Our SharePoint server is hosted on the Office 365 network. It is not a local system.
    Thanks

One option is to run the info into a Word Template and then run Word Automation Services to convert to PDF, but I think you're still going to run into some similar issues.

  • User settings migrated from Office 2007 to 2013 using OCT

Does anyone know what user settings are retained after upgrading Office 2007 to 2013 using the OCT? I have set the checkbox to migrate user settings in the OCT but all of the user's pinned documents are not longer there after the upgrade. Is this normal?

Microsoft doesn't support migrating directly from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013, likely part of your decision to use a third party tool.
I'm not familiar with these error messages, I suspect they're from DocAve and not SharePoint.
My suggestion is to contact AvePoint support.

  • Issue with Excel Access Web Part, with sites that were migrated from 2010 SP to 2013 SP

    Hello,
If I try to add an Excel Access Web Part to a page I get the following:
**Note: This only happens with sites that were migrated from 2010 SharePoint to SharePoint 2013. If I create a new site the feature works like it should and loads the workbook. I've tested this on several sites, our environment is enterprise as well. Being

  • How to enable Gant view for migrated Task Lists in SharePoint 2013

We recently migrated several Task type Lists from an old SharePoint environment (WSS on SP 2003) to SharePoint Enterprise 2013.  I do not see the Timeline, Calendar and Gant View options available for the migrated Views of the migrated lists like
I see for newly created Task Lists in SP2013. Is there a way to enable this feature for these migrated Task Lists?

  • Migrating from 3.0 to 2013

Dear friends.. i knw this has been discussed earlier also .. but i didnt found something which is from a laymen point of view and for some1 who is not from SP infra. One one my server is having SP 3.0 which we now want to phaze out and move our critical
data to 2013 but i am not able to find any step by step or guide on the same
can some one please advise me.. thanks
    Thanks
    Happiness Always
    Jatin

There are a few too many options for a simple step by step process.  The web sites I referred to have the best information that you will find.  But the process is essentially the same if whether you are going from WSS to Foundation 2013 or WSS
    to SharePoint Server 2013.
using the database attach method you will recreate your Web applicaitons in the new 2013 environment, but not the individual site collections.  The content and definition of the site collections is all stored in the content database itself.  So
when you attach the content database to the new environment if will bring the definition of the site collections and content with it.
Having said all that, this is not the kind of task I would normally recommend for a newcomer to SharePoint.  I would suggest finding a partner who specializes in SharePoint and get a quote from them on what a migration would cost.  In the long
run it may save you money and aggravation to have someone do it who has done it before.

  • Public Folder Migration from Exchange 2007 to 2013

    Hi Guys,
I have a general Exchange 07-13 migration question about migrating the PF's and System Folder Information, I read somewhere that the SystemFolder info doesn't come across, can someone shed some light on this for me please?
    Thanks,
    Ray

    Hi Ray,
Free/Busy information is stored in system public folder. If you want to decommission the Exchange 2007 Server, you need to add the replicas to Exchange 2013 Server.
What's more, if the users use Outlook 2003, they will rely on the Free/Busy folders. If the users are using Outlook 2007 or newer, then Outlook utilizes something called the Availability Service and no longer relies on the Free/Busy folder.
Please refer to the following article to migrate public folders from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013.

  • Migration from Exchange 2007 to 2013 gives error "Failed to communicate with the mailbox database'

I have been trying to migrate several databases from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2013. The migration started successfully, and many of the mailboxes moved successfully (about 70). The remaining mailboxes, failed. Looking deeper, we found a few issues; The
two 2013 Mailbox servers were on different versions. The Server had run out of disk space, and the NIC drivers needed to be updated.
Now when we try to migrate a mailbox that had failed in the earlier batch, we get the following error:

The destination server is a Hyper-V Guest running Server 2012, SP1, and Exchange 2013
The Source Server is Running Exchange 2007.
I have tried doing a test move to another destination server that is also Server 2012, and Exchange 2013, and the migration also failed.
I would appreciate any help you can give me!
