Migration Key - How to Open a CSS Message

Hi Team,
We got the discovery system and asked SAP to get us a separate licence for mySAP ERP 2005. We got the CD-DVD's and SAP says that we can generate the licence key from the service marketplace. Now in the installation guide, it is mentioned that we should get the migration key by using CSS and opening a message in CSS Component: CA-SOA-DS. When I go the tab "Report Product Error" in CSS, the table control which displays the systems is still blank. I cannot go to the next step and open a message to request migration key. We really don't want to install the CD-DVD's on a separate server. We just want to get the discovery system up and running and it looks like without the migration key we can't proceed further.
Questions:
1) How do I start a CSS message without the system number getting displayed in the service marketplace. I have the installation number etc with me.
2) Do we have to install and run something else prior to asking for migration key?
Please respond as this is causing problems. Your help will be much appreciated.

I'll try to shine some light on the topic you brought up.
The Discovery System is shipped already pre-installed on the hardware. Thus there are no CD-DVD's that would allow installation on a seperate system. It follows the concept of an appliance.
To license it you need to have a valid license for SAP ERP on MS SQL. This is the installation number you will need to request the license key from Service Marketplace. If you don't have that in place (no license or on different DB) please contact your SAP counterpart.
Following the steps in the Quick Guide (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b22d4e44-0e01-0010-ffa4-fe9c59939e5e) in sequence should guide you through all the necessary activities.

Hi. I just passed by the same issue you have.
VMG can be opened with TextEdit, but it has some informations that (i think) you don't need.
I wanted to gather all msg, so I could have some kind of history.
This is how i've done it:
1º Used a terminal tool that converts VMG files into a single CSV file with all the messages:
VMGtoCSV : http://mac.wareseeker.com/Network-Communication/vmgtocsv-1.0.zip/c37ec0bba
-This has some filename problems with some characters, like ";" and "&",so i had to rename a few...
2º VMGtoCSV creates a file with the fields separated by ";" instead of ",". So when I open the file on Number (where I wanted to keep the messages), it didn't separated the fields correctly.
3º I had to open the CSV file on TextEdit, and then replace the ";" separator for the "," separator.
4º Then I just dragged the CSV into Numbers and delete the columns I didn't want.

How to open 7.0 migrated Workbooks in 3.5 analyzer

Hi,
We have migrated BEx 3.5 workbooks to 7.0 version.
We now want to execute these migrated workbooks in 3.5 analyzer, but we are not able to. Does migration of WBs create a new version of the existing WB or does it overwrite the migrated WB over the old one?
How can we run our migrated WBs on 3.5 analyzer while retaining the migrated ones?

Technically if you upgrade your workbook it will create new 7.0 work book with same name..
but thing is most of time it doesn't work for upgraded workbook..
Check your support package level, still if you face issues, log oss message.

The easiest way to fix the hosts file is to restore it from a backup that predates the modification, or to copy the unmodified file from another Mac. If you can't do that, then do as below.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
open -e /etc/hosts
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Paste into a Terminal window by pressing command-V. A TextEdit window should open. At the top of the window, you should see this:

Below that, you may see some other lines. The first 9 lines should be exactly as above, apart from differences in the blank space within lines. Otherwise you can't use this procedure—STOP and ask for guidance.
If the contents of the TextEdit window are as described, close it, then enter the following command in the Terminal window in the same way as before (by copy and paste):
sudo sed -i~ '10,$d' /etc/hosts

Two thoughts:
(1) Could you try changing a setting for your Garmin plugin. Here's what I mean:
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
Find your Garmin plugin change "Ask to Activate" to "Always Activate".
Your system information seems to list two different versions of a similarly named plugin. I'm not sure whether that is causing a problem.
(2) Does Garmin's documentation specify any extra steps to set up Firefox, other than installing its add-ons?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

On my previous e-mail system, I was able to read the text of an incoming message in the reading pane below the selection of incoming messages without first having to open the incoming message about which I was curious. Firefox has no email features, it is just a web browser.
If you are using a web based email service such as Gmail or Hotmail, you will need to contact the support for the email service to see if they offer the feature that you want. Any email features will be part of the web based email service.

How can I open multiple email messages with a single click?

On the Mac mini I use at work, I can select several email messages at a time and open them all up by double-clicking the mouse pointer on any of the selected messages. My MacBook Pro at home seems to lack that functionality, even though both are running the same version of Yosemite. You are not running as administrator, I think, which may be required and the only way to properly work and register. Also check for compatibility mode settings, UAC and DEP, all of which may require to be adjusted for a legacy app like PS CS2 to run properly. Also turn off Aero and switch to a conventional visual theme. The brush issue may be related to that or is a more generic problem with your graphics card and mouse config, but since you didn't provide any info on that, it will be hard for anyone to advise.

Unable to open my email messages on Firefox? How do I fix this?

I am not able to read my emails while I am in Firefox. This has happened about 8 days ago. I don't recall how this happened because I was able to use FF very well & never had any problems. I have been using Internet Explorer because most of my work has to be done on IE, the problem is that IE crashes too many times and its become very slow, I am just sick of it. I decided to use FF to read my emails & to do my PCH sweepstakes and play some games and maybe I would not get the screen crashing effect that I'm getting on IE. However, in order to get to do this I must open my email messages to proceed with the sweepstakes, but for some reason when I click on my messages nothing happens, they don't open up. How can this be repaird? I have even gone as far as deleting FF and re-downloading it again, but the problem still persists. I need help please!
