Migration of old system with new version and 64bit hardware

Our req: Build New CRM system with all latest version of software & 64 bit hardware. Details mentioned below.
Old System:
CRM 4.0 ABAP System
win 2003
Oracle 9i
non-unicode
32 bit hardware
New System( which i want to build):
CRM 5.2 (rampup version) ABAP+JAVA
win 2003
Oracle 10g
Unicode
64 bit hardware
Above mentioned is an new requirement for us.
Our Plan:
1. Old system -Conversion from non-unicode to Unicode system
2. Old system - System copy export method for create exports
3. Build New system with new unicode version(5.2) with Old system exports
Questions to Sapguru's:
1. Our plan will work or not?
a. If Yes - give me the guidelines ,Notes ,documentation paths
b. If No - Please provide your opinions/advices
2. 32 bit exports will work on 64 bit hardware SAP system?

I understood - what you have mentioned for my question but i have one clarification on your answer and one new questions to you.
Clarification:
My oldsystem is non-unicode system. As you said i will do system copy export method on old system(non-unicode) then i will use that exports(non-unicode) to build new system.
Here my clarification is:
Will that exports(non-unicode) work while installing new system with unicode? or Will it give any problem?
Question:
1. will old system with oracle 9i exports work on new system with oracle 10g?

Trying to migrate my old FCE my new iMac and OS

I'm trying to remove my Final Cut and serial from my old iMac and onto my new one. I drug the application to a drive from the application folder and went to drag it to my new application folder but receive a message claiming the version might not work with the new OS. Is there a way around this? An update/newdownload etc.

Both Final Cut Express and Final Cut Studio were discontinued in 2011 (even before Lion was released) and are no longer supported. Mavericks is 2 generations past Lion. No guarantees that either FCE or FCP will run, or run properly, on Mavericks.
With pro apps like Final Cut, you cannot just copy the application file from one Mac to another - it won't work. While it is possible to use Migration Assistant, that also does not work consistently well when you are migrating pro apps. With all the pro apps it is far better to install from scratch.

How can I replace my old Airport with new one and keep my network?

I want to replace my 5+ year old Airport Extreme (runs 802g)
Would appreciate advice on how I can set up the new Airport Extreme and maintain my current network (my printer, Apple Tv etc are all signed into my network, would like to keep my network.

I have a Seagate 3TB external hard drive and was using it with time machine on my old system with Snow Leopard and it was working smoothly. I have now upgraded to Mavericks and when I tried setting up time machine again, it did not work.

The OS does not detect the drive when I start the system, but Disk Utility shows the disk as an external drive. I seem to be going around in circles. Please take a look at the following screen grabs for the errors I am getting.

But When I verify The sub-partition in the Disk (disk4s2), it asks me to repair disk. When I try to repair disk, it gives me this error.

In Designer, old application system disappears after New version and ORA-01562

In Designer 2.1.2, after starting (RON 2.0.24.1.1) Application / New version,
error ORA-01562 occurred (because I have a smaller rollback segment on line).
Now I can't find in repository
old version (1) of my application system,
but new version (2) exists in repository.
Unchecking the 'Show Current Versions Only' check box doesn't help.
Even Designer API statement:
'SELECT id, name, version
FROM ci_application_systems'
displays only new version (2).
Means this that Designer:
- first changes old version number to new version number and commits
- and then copies new version to old?
How to return old version number (without Designer API)?

(MetaLink Technical Forums):
'When Designer versions it takes a snapshot of the first version
and then changes the originals version number to 2.
If designer run out of rollback segments while creating a new version
it will not show the old version again.
This is a bug (818860). It is in the resolution stage.'

Xfdf and pdf works in Adobe Reader 6, but not with new versions 7, 8, X

I have a xfdf file which is created by querying a SQL data base and contains data for a pdf form; it works with Adobe Reader 6, but does not work with new versions of Adobe Readers (7, 8, 9 and X).
It is an intranet site running IIS 6.0 in Windows Server 2003 Web Edition SP2 with Adobe 6 installed and client systems include XPSP2, XPSP3, Vista, Windows 7 with different versions of IE, Firefox.
With new versions of Adobe Reader, click on the hyperlink launched the pdf form in a browser window without data; below is the link:

I have installed new versions of Adobe Reader in the Web server (to match what the clients are using), but results are the same – blank pdf.
I uninstalled the new versions and installed version 6 and the pdf and xfdf worked happily together, but we need new versions of Adobe Reader in the client computers.
Thanks for helps and suggestions – I have read articles about using iTextSharp to create pdf documents from .NET apps, but that would be my last choice.

Adobe Reader 9 can't save the old FDA forms. FDA must update their forms.

I would update to the new version of Firefox but I like my big Google Firefox start page. Don't think I'll have that with the new version and I don't want to give it up.

I love my start page. It's nice and big with the Google search engine bar and Firefox earth symbol attached. I'm positive that the new version of Firefox will cause me to lose this particular start page so I refuse to do the update. If I recall correctly, you are talking about the default start page. To check if this is correct, type '''about:home''' in the awesome bar. If this is the same as your homepage, it will still be there when you update.

Firefox doesn't install new versions of plugins, but Flash may update itself automatically.<br />
You are still one version behind on Flash, current is Flash 10.1 r85<br />
If the Flash player didn't update properly then you need to download the full version and run the installer as Administrator (right-click: Run as ...)

No..
You cannot download any version of Logic that you bought on CDs.... You must reinstall it using the disks that came with the boxed set.
The only downloadable version now is Logic Pro X....which, like everyone else.... you must buy via the App Store... as it is a new version and there is no upgrade from any other version.

In SharePoint Designer 2010, we could not save the workflow as a template directly except the reusable workflow.
However, in SharePoint Designer 2013, we can just save all the types workflow as a template, then you can import the workflow into the new environment.

In SharePoint Designer 2013, every time we publish the workflow, we would get a newer version workflow, and the old workflow version would be overwritten.
So, when you deploy the workflow in the environment, the workflow would the newer version.

Apple covers a pretty huge range.. If you mean extreme.. did you reset it to factory and start over.. that is always necessary when you change a network. You cannot pick up a router from one home and network and plonk it into another and have it work.. aint gonna happen.
You also need to power down any pure cable modem for 20min or so to get it to forget the old MAC address that captured the IP so the Apple ??? has a chance to work.

Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software.

I'm not sure what you mean by it making accessing files more complicated. I have both Pages 4.3 & Pages 5.1 icons in my Dock as well as Numbers 2.3 & Numbers 3.1. I continue to use the iWork '09 versions for my everyday needs. As long as the new versions are in your Applications folder & the '09 versions in the iWork '09 folder, Software Update will not have a problem updating them even if Apple should come out with a new update for the '09 versions.
Because I have moved the new versions to an external drive & renamed the apps because I want '09 to be the default apps, I do have to remember to move them back to my applications folder & restore the original names before updating. But since you like the new versions this "complication" doesn't apply to you.
