Migration pc to mac runs since 24 hours! What shall i do?

I bought a new Macbook pro an dwant to migrate from pc to mac.
I connected pc and MBP by LAN.
Started the migration soft ware on both, controle number was OK.
Now the programm runs still 24 hours looking for documents andnothing happens.
What shall i do ?
Cancel ?
I bought a time capsule at the same time.
Shall i try to use time capsule for migration ?

What can i do to speed up the process.?
My CPU usage is 15% only and CPU usage is 5%.

Hi Dev,
indeed this phase may take long, depending also on the performance of the source database.
You should check whether there are still processes running, esp. SAPuptool.
The number of R3load uptime processes is relevant for this phase. It can be adapted via browser, see section 4.2.2 "Changing processing parameters during runtime" in the DMO documentation.

The aperture libary is about 80 GB. Should I still wait or seems it to be a failure?

To repair you library quit Aperture (or Force Quit, if necessary), then launch it again, while firmly pressing down the options- and the command key combination (⌥⌘). This will bring up the Aperture Library First Aid panel. Try first "Repair Permissions", then if necessary "Repair Database".

Firefox won't open... at all. On a Mac running the beta. What should I do?

Not sure what happened, but I can't open Firefox anymore. I'm on a Mac and pretty sure I've been using the beta release. I remember it updating a few days ago, but anyway... it won't open. I've tried rebooting... nothing. It doesn't load. It just... sits there with the light on under it in the dock, but if I do a Force Quit.... it shows as not responding. How can I uninstall/reinstall ... without losing my bookmarks? It's been doing this for the past two days. Thanks. No offense to other browsers, but I hate everything except for Firefox.

I issues a DELETE sql command. It is running since 6 hours ego. How to see if the rows are being deleted ? Obviously I can not see from another session (by select count(*) from mytable ) every 30 minutes or ... because there is no commit yet.
Do you have any suggestion ?

How many records are being deleted?
How many records are there in the table.
If you are deleting a high percentage of the records it can be quicker to:
1. query and save the records you want to keep (CREATE TABLE saveData AS SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE . . .
2. truncate the table
3. put the saved records back
a. ALTER TABLE myTable NOLOGGING
b. INSERT /*+ APPEND */ INTO myTable SELECT * FROM saveData
c. ALTER TABLE myTable LOGGING
d. DROP TABLE saveData

I have a MacBook older model with me.I am running 10.7.6 on that, I was trying to use BootCamp to install windows on my mac. Since BootCamp can only work on a single Volume, I partitioned my Hard Disk to one volume.
Using BootCamp I installed windows and everything worked fine. After installing windows and testing everything, I switched back to OS X and this time I tried to make another partition on my single portioned Mac volume and named it Backup. That too worked. Now I have three Volumes
1)Development2)Backup3)BootCamp.
Next when I switched to Windows, It should the classic error, No Bootable device found, please insert a Bootable CD and press any key. When I tried to enter my Mac OS X install DVD and by pressing option key, it does not show me the proper Mac OS X development volume. It keeps going back to the No bootable device found message.
Any help will be much appreciated

you can't add a partition in between - you put Windows to a new partition number.
GPT (GUID)

Lion Recovery
Windows
And now you have two HFS
One partition and one Windows (plus Lion Recovery).
If you were to have more, it can't be before Windows for one thing.

Websites just hang, and never get to where they are supposed to go. The status loop on tabs just spins and spins but never loads the site. Go to the same site on Safari and there in a second. It is like dial up slow. Have tried all the troubleshooting tips(reset, delete/re-create profiles, uninstall/reinstall, updated flash) nothing works.
Firefox had been working fine until latest update. What gives?

CreativeCloud application won't open after migrating to new Mac (also running Mavericks)

I had CreativeCloud installed and working on my Mac running OS X Mavericks. Then I migrated to a new Mac, also running OS X Mavericks. My CreativeCloud 2014 applications all work properly. My problem is with the CreativeCloud application itself -- the little cloud icon that appear in my Mac's menu bar. When I double click the CreativeCloud application icon on my Dock, I see the Cloud icon briefly appear in the menu bar and then it disappears after a second or two. I went to the Utilities folder and I used the uninstaller to remove the CreativeCloud application from my Mac. I then downloaded the application installer and reinstalled it on my Mac. The exact same problem persists. This problem occurs in two different OS X user accounts on my Mac. How can I fix this problem?

Thannon88 please try utilizing the steps listed in Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html to reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
If you continue to face difficulties then I would recommend starting the migration process over again. This time please only transfer your documents and settings. This will allow you a clean system to reinstall your applications.

purchased a G5 iMac to replace my aging dell desktop,
and now i'm more or less completely os x dependant
(I've had an ibook for a few months now). Anyway, I
have a few questions:
1. Does anyone know of a (free) mail notifier tool,
that will alert me when I recieve new pop3 mail? I
used to use AIM for this in windows
The built in email program does sound an alert for new messages.
2. Anyone know of a good (free, again) IRC client?
iChat works well.
3. I noticed earlier that my screen was flickering,
it seems to have subsided for now, but is that normal
to encounter in a new display? It wasn't really bad
flicker, but I could see it.

4. I leave my desktops on 24/7x365, will that be a
problem with this iMac? Display shuts off of course
after 30 mins
You could set the iMac to go to sleep after non use. My Macs are
always sleeping when not in use, waking them up takes seconds.
Unlike windoze, never knew if it would be locked up or not.
5. Should I get the extended warranty? I'm usually
against them, but I am expecting this computer to
last me at least 3 years (for $1300 it better!)
before I upgrade, as I got that much out of a Dell
and from what I understand, Mac's do not age nearly
as fast as Windows pc's.
It is well worth the cost. Never know what might happen. Also
it is good insurance for future upgrades. I traded in my G4 tower
purchased two years ago for 75% of what I paid for it. Apple care
transfers, giving the buyer the remainder of your warranty.
