Migration wont work on my mac air?

Ive tried to migrate my itunes from my old laptop to my new air and when i try to open migraiton on my air it says it isnt supported or something along those lines not 100% sure of the wording?

I have this very same issue. Ever since my laptop crashed and I had to revert back to 10.5.8 (didn't have Snow Leopard startup disk handy) iTunes has been doing exactly what you described.

afternoon, tried to download skype on my power book g4 and it after download I try to open the dm and it says wont work with this artitecture.
I am running 10.5.8 after I have download the dm the window that I should put it into the applications had like a do not enter symbol.

My iCloud iMessage account wont work on my Mac, but works on my iPad 2 and iPod Touch.

Yesterday I got a new Macbook Air, and I logged into my iCloud account, and everything is working except the Messages. I would like to use my iCloud account ( My @Me account) as my iMessage. I have been trying to set it up but it wont work, although it does work on my iPad 2 and my iPod Touch. -Please help! - Thnx!

Launch Messages on your MBAir.
From the Messages menu bar top of your screen click Messages > Preferences then select the Accounts tab.
Select your iCloud account on the left then select: Enable this account

ICloud does not work with my mac air

I am working with mac air, using Iwork9 and safari. I failed to upload any iwork doc to icloud. I did exacly all the steps required but not way. I thought apple was going to be smart like dropbox.com but they are far behind.
I log into icloud.com and tried to drag and drop? NO WAY
I tried to find the setting icon to upload but it does not exist.
Any ideas

Open a Finder window and you should have a folder called iClouDrive in your home folder. Drag your documents or folders you want to share into this folder and it will be available on your other computer (look in the same folder).
As already mentioned Dropbox is a good solution; however, I like to use my free 5 GB from Apple's iCloud because I am not using very much space there. I reserve my Dropbox for other uses such as family photo and recipe sharing.

Did you install it? G to your Applications folder and look for an app called "Install OS X". It gets deleted after install, so if it's still there, you haven't run it yet. Launch that app and follow the directions.

It runs OK as long as you don't overuse memory. If you like to keep many applications open at once then you'll get into a paging situation. If you just keep a few open then it runs just fine.

After I downloaded Mac OS X lion/10.7 and iTunes 10.4 iTunes wont open it pops up a window saying check with developer to make sure this version of Mac OS X supports iTunes. please help

How can I find out how old my Office:mac program is? It cost $149.99 at the Apple Store. I think it's only 3 years old. So Apple wants to kill Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.? Fine, a fair warning would be appropriate. I would not have "upgraded" if I knew $29 was really that plus upgrading everything else.
That's totally unlike Apple to not be able to access common documents when doing an upgrade.
Get real! Word and Excel can't be accessed by Lion?!?! I just want to work on my daughter's homework...

Problem migrating Photoshop Elements to new Mac Air

I got the following error "150:30" upon PE start up immediately after using Migration App to migrate data and applications from old MacBook to new MacAir. I can not reinstall the PE software as I purchased as disc installer and MacAir does not have internal disc player. Any suggestions for how to get PE to start up? I have serial number on box?

You can never, never, never migrate in installed copy of PSE. PSE is not a tidy package like most mac apps; its installer strews stuff all over your hard drive in many places where neither you nor the migration assistant can find them. You must always install a fresh copy on a new machine. Now you have made a lot more work for yourself.

after which you will have to go around and manually remove all the bits you can find, not only from applications but also from your hard drive>library>application support>adobe and your username>library>preferences. To see the user library, click the Go menu in the Finder and hold down the Option key. It will appear below the little house for your user account. Since you've tried to run PSE you will also need to go to the Saved Application State folder and delete anything for PSE.
The other library, the one at the top level of your hard drive, is not hidden, but it is difficult to get to. If you need help, post back.
After doing all this you can reinstall PSE from scratch.

There is something wrong in your settings. As the settings for each email provider are different you need to check your email server's web site for instructions. Most now have specific instructions for the iPhone. Also see Apple's instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1385
