MII dashboard on the iPhone device.
Hi,
I am a newer for MII developmen. Does anyone have tried to make a MII dashboard and veiw by iPhone?
I make one simple MII test report (query one table and show table data on the iGrid view) and test is ok on the PC. But when I browse this MII test report on my iPhone, I cannot see the result. I think maybe iPhone does not support java script or applet.
If so, anyone have any experence about MII report development on the iPhone? Any sap document describe that?

You are correct mobile devices do not support applets. Therefore it is recommended to use Servlet Calls (for tabular data) or create images for charts and place them on the web page. Any MII chart can be saved of as an image.

How do you add musci to the Iphone? I just installed itunes 11.1.5.5. Now the format in Itunes is changed. when I am trying to add music to my iphone, there is no longer an add button under the Iphone device. Why did they have to change this? Can anyone help, Im tryiong to add music.
Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

There is in a sense no ultimately "right" answer as to which is better, wired or wireless. There are always situations where one will give better performance over the other. Wired connections have fewer connection reliability issues (the wire is either there or it's not) and are theoretically higher bandwidth; but you are potentially sharing the network bandwidth with a very large number of other users. So if your wireless AP is the only one in the area, wireless might give much better performance. On the the hand if your AP is but one of dozens in the same room (yes, I'm looking at you NIWeek), wireless can be very sketchy -- and then there's the whole issue of RF noise. Remember that WIFI is a radio protocol.
In terms of interface design, something you might want to consider is a layered UI where the initial screen gives high-level, overview data, but provides the ability to drill-down to greater levels of detail -- which would conceivably present more information and require more bandwidth.

hello, i attempted to syn my iphone to new computer however when i click on iphone device in right hand upper corner it disappears, not giving me the option to add device and/or syn. i went on apple website for assitance, followed the step by step instructions but still not working for me?

What do you mean by "open the device"? If you mean you want it unlocked, you have to contact the carrier it is locked to. Only the carrier to authorize it to be officially unlocked.

The first method is download it from App store/ Ad hoc after application distribution.
The other way is that tie the iPhone device UDID to App ID of iPhone developer, then download and add the available Development Provisioning Profiles onto iphone,then build and debug application using connected iphone device in the Xcode.
I want to know wether there is the third way to install application onto iPhone device?

I have a question regarding Icloud and unlinking an Icloud account from a device such as an iphone. If the iphone device is removed from the Find my Iphone app in Icloud, does this mean that it is unlinked/removed from the account after the account is removed manually in the icloud settings of the phone? Or in the case of resetting the phone will it become icloud locked still? ITunes no longer shows 'Podcasts' item under iPhone device section.

iTunes for Windows 7 (64-bit) Version 10.3.1.55
I have iTunes set to manually manage my music and podcasts. Previously I had done this by clicking on the "Podcasts" item under the iPhone device section. Here I would delete podcasts I had previously listened to and drag new podcasts from the "podcasts" item under the Library section. As of today, when I connect my iPhone to my computer, it no longer lists a "podcasts" item under my iPhone in the Devices section.
Now I can't fine a place to delete old podcasts. I also do NOT want to use iTunes sync function for podcasts. Anyone else having this issue?
-MikeJust found out. You select the podcast page on your iPhone 4. You drag your finger, from right to left, over the screen, just like you do to delete e-mails. The delete option will present itself. Touch the delete button and confirm. The podcast will be deleted.

IPhoto showing incorrect photos on iPhone "device" - help or feedback???
I've been having this problem for months and alluded to it in a previous post. It has followed my iPhone during a migration from 3G to 3GS and I'm guessing it's a bad file, but not sure which one...
When I plug my iPhone 3GS via USB cable iTunes and iPhoto both launch (I have iPhoto set to launch when camera connected in the app Preferences). In iTunes I have my 3GS set to sync several albums only (however, this problem occurred even when I had it set to sync ALL photos and albums). If I view the "Device" in iPhoto, however, it shows a bunch of pics which, though they exist in iPhoto, they are NOT on the Camera Roll, nor are they even photos that are in the albums that I have selected to sync. It's my understanding that they only thing I should be seeing in iPhoto under the iPhone device when the iPhone is connected is pictures taken by the iPhone itself and I select which of these to import. But, what is actually displayed is a random smattering of photos from my iPhoto photo albums... and I mean random. I also have numerous random "ghost" images which are empty squares with dotted line border and rounded corners which are interposed between actual images.
I previously had this problem but it seemed to fix itself after a restart of the iPhone (power off and then on) and permissions repair... though not certain if any of those actually fixed it or just coincidence. This problem persisted even after restoring from a 3G to my current 3GS and an upgrade from 10.5 to 10.6 (actually 10.6.1 at this point).
I am certain there is a corrupt file somewhere but don't know where to start. Any feedback on how to fix this?Following instructions in this thread to delete the DCIM folder completely resolved this problem in case anyone needs it:

Simply connect your iPhone to your computer (Windows or Mac) and iTunes will automatically open. (You must already have iTunes installed.) Click on the iPhone device in the left-hand column and then on the right-hand side of the screen you will see your iPhone information. Click on the "Check for updates" button and the system will automatically update your iPhone for you. iTunes will tell you once the update process has completed, so don't disconnect the iPhone until then.

Looks like CoreAudio framework doesn't exist in the iPhone device SDK, however it does in the simulator. Is this a final decision that the iPhone won't include CoreAudio or is it simply due to the fact that the SDK is still in beta?

- BryanI ran into this recently... for me, the problem was that my iphone was running some variation of the 2.1 OS that was different than what XCode had. I resolved it by doing a Restore of my iphone in itunes - which downloaded the version on the phone and automatically made it available to XCode. Runs great now.

I have an apple iphone 4 that I want to download audio books from my library onto. I cannot figure out how to do that. The iphone does not show up on my mac laptop as a connected device. Does this kind of download have to run through itunes? Thanks
Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. I want to use the same account for all my apple devices (macbook air, imac and iphone). I can't see how I can amend the iphone account because it is in grey? I also can't remember the password for this account so i can't even delete it and start again?

ThanksDeleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account. -

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
