MII doesn't return images from copied projects

We are using MII 12.2.6.44 and when I make a copy of the existing project, the images cannot be found on the copy. But I'm sure, that they are on the given path, I receive the message:
  404   Not Found
SAP NetWeaver Application Server
  Error: Requested file /path/path/someimage.png does not exist.
  SAP Technology Troubleshooting Guide
Details:
No details available.
Sometimes I have to wait hours to have the pictures loaded, sometimes it is not recovered after days... Is there some "flush" function or something, that I could invoke? Because it is very annoying

hi,
unfortunately this didn't solve my problem, I right-mouse-clicked on the "Web" tab on the "WEB" directory, then "Publish", but I still don't see the icons
EDIT: it works in IE, but not works in FF
EDIT2: okay, maybe I have to restart the browser thankx

  • How do I view multiple images from different projects at the same time?

    Hello
    I've been trying to find the answer in the user manual, but no luck so far.
    I did find how to open 2 projects at once, but I can only see one image at a time in the viewer and I have to keep going back and forth between projects to compare images. (These are scans of old photos and I want to eliminate the ones that are poorer quality, so need to compare numerous images from 2 sets of scans)
    How can I view an image from one project at the same time as an image from another? I know that it can be done in the same project by apple-clicking the second, third etc image, but this doesn't work if the images are from different projects.
    Thank you
    Elizabeth

    Thank you again Tony
    I've now created an album, independent of the projects, and dragged test images into it and it does just the job I needed. Now i just need to keep my brain sorted with which ones are which while i'm working

  • Open multiple images from the project bin

    In Elements 9 I can only seem to open 1 image from the project bin at a time! What am I doing wrong?
    Bob Dunkerley.

      You need to double click on your main image and then drag your second image up from the project bin. That creates separate images on separate layers.

  • Move images from one project to another

    I have just upgraded from ap 1.5 to ap 2. In 1.5, when I moved an image from one project to another, the image was actually removed from the original project and placed in the new project. It has been my habit to upload all the images from a shoot into one project and then sort them into image specific projects; for example all blackbirds into a project labeled "blackbirds", all hawks into a project labeled hawks, etc. Once everything was sorted, the original project would be empty and I could delete it. This does not seem to be the case in ap 2. When I sort the images into their specific projects, they do disappear from the original project and thus I am unable to delete that project. Am I missing something?
    Thanks
    HPL

    I had a bit of an unusual situation. I was in fact moving images from a FOLDER to a project in another folder. Turns out that there were albums in a project in the SOURCE FOLDER. I clicked on the folder, not the project, so although moving the images did indeed remove them from the source PROJECT, they remained in the various albums in that source project, still showing up in the SOURCE FOLDER, which is what I was working from, thus the confusion. I bet I won't make that mistake again.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Moving image from one project to another

    Hi all. I'm sorry if this is simple to do, but I can't figure it out. I have recently purchased Aperture 3 and am trying to figure out how to move an image from one project to another. I had several photos on my camera, and imported them this morning into it's own project. Now, I would like to take some of those photos and put them in my "family" project, and some into my "dogs" project, etc. When I open up the new project, I can't find where I can move them to another project. I have to assume this is doable, but I can't figure it out.
    Thanks in advance.
    Dale.

    Sorry to be a complete idiot, but here's my issue. When I open the original project, and then find the image that I want to move, I am unable to see any other projects (in browser view), so I have nowhere to drag them to. I hope that makes sense and you can help.
    Thanks again.
    Dale.

  • Why tehre is an Image from old project as background when I star new comp?

    I´m with a very weird problem. When I start a new comp, (or even a new project) shows-up an an old image from another project as background. Even old projects have this same image as background. Its really weird, looks like a ghost. What shoud I do?

    What is your exact version of AE down to the last decimal? For example, "CC, latest version" is not a helpful answer, but "13.2.0.49" is useful.

  • Can't MOVE images from one project to another: must not understand

    Greetings,
    I have two questions as a result of aperture not working the way that I have read on forums etc. and am wondering what i am doing wrong
    1) How do I MOVE images from project to project without duplicating masters or versions
    2) how do I delete versions
    All of my files are referenced.
    *1) moving from project to project*
    I have a blue folder called "NEFs." In it, I have a default project where I just dump all of my images called "00 dump." After I dump them, I organize into other projects. So, I do the following:
    • I create a new project called "2008 Thanksgiving" inside the NEFs blue folder making it a sibling to "00 dump"
    • I go back to "00 dump" select all the images that were shot over thanksgiving, and drag to the "2008 thanksgiving" folder. The images transfer fine, but when I go back to "00 dump" I see that the images have NOT actually moved, they are now sitting in both projects. How can this be? I thought that if I move images from project to project then I am actually moving the master, not replicating a version? That leads me to my next dilemma
    *2) how do I delete versions?*
    Now that I have replicated photos in my "2008 Thanksgiving" project, I want to delete them since I see them still sitting in "00 dump." I do the following:
    • select the "2008 Thanksgiving" project
    • select a number of images
    • press command + delete (this is the only way to delete a file as far as I can tell
    • popup comes up explaining that if I delete this file it will delete the master too and the reference file. So, that's exactly what it does.
    Deleting the referenced file is fine for many junk images, but in this case, I just want to delete the copied version that seems to be in two projects now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would really love a full understanding of how this structure works.

    When you drag images and the drop target is an actual little yellow project box (not a folder, and album or anything else) the images move from one project to another, if your drop target is not the actual project but something else within another project all you do is cause the version to show up there, nothing is duplicated.
    To delete a version or versions selected just use command-delete. This gets rid of the actual version not just removes it from the current album view. If it happens to be the last version of that master it will get rid of the master as well.
    Have a look at this:

  • PhaseListener doesn't return image

    Hi Experts,
    I have a JackRabbit content repository in my web application which contains some of the images that need to be rendered.
    In order to do this I decided to map a URL pattern to a PhaseListener, which will on receiving such a request load the image and return it with the HTTP response.
    In other words, if the URL is http://domain.com/images?path=name.jpg the PhaseListener will intercept that and return an image from the JackRabbit content repository. My problem is, even though everything seems fine, I keep on receiving a 404 error. My code is as follow:
    public class ImagePhaseListener implement PhaseListener {
      public PhaseId getPhaseId() {
        return PhaseId.RESTORE_VIEW;
      public void beforePhase(PhaseEvent event) {
        // Nothing to do
      public void afterPhase(PhaseEvent event) {
        FacesContext facesContext = event.getFacesContext();
        String viewID = facesContext.getViewRoot().getViewId();
        if (viewID.startsWith("/image/") {
          serveResource(facesContext);
      private void serveResource(FacesContext facesContext) {
        Map<String, String> requestMap = facesContext.getExternalContext().getRequestParameterMap();
        String path = requestMap.get("path");
        // Get the stream from JackRabbit - this works fine
        InputStream imageStream = getImageStream(path);
        // Write the response - this doesn't throw any exception, but doesn't seem to work either
        HttpServletResponse servletResponse = (HttpServletResponse)facesContext.getExternalContext().getResponse();
        servletResponse.setContentType("image/jpeg");
        try {
          int streamLength = imageStream.available();
          servletResponse.setContentLength(streamLength);
          while (streamLength > 0) {
             servletResponse.getOutputStream().write(imageStream.read());
             --streamLength;
           servletResponse.getOutputStream().flush();
         catch (IOException exception) {
           // Log error
         finally {
           try {
             servletResponse.getOutputStream().close();

          catch (IOException exception) {
            // Log error
        facesContext.responseComplete();
    // More code ...
    }I used my debugger to step through this and everything works fine - no exceptions nothing. The inputstream is loaded correctly and contains the correct number of bytes. Here is my HTTP headers:

    Btw, what's the best way to write from an InputStream to the Response's OutputStream?
    Thank you,
    Ristretto

    Thanks IoboEsa and BalusC,
    BalusC - the reason I tried to get this to work with a JSF PhaseListener is because this would give me easy access to a managed bean containing the user information. I see in your article you recommend passing an ID attribute encrypted by MD5 for authentication, but if this information can be obtained from a JSF bean so much the better, don't you think? I guess I'll try the servlet approach and just construct the FacesContext manually

  • Library corruption after moving images from one project to another.

    Hi,
    I have Aperture 1.5 running on a PowerMac G5. I'm using an external disk (via FW800) for the library. The disk catalog has no problems.
    Today I want to reduce the number of projects and move a few images between projects. There is one project with a few hundred files where I wanted to move a large subset to another project. I selected the images in the source project and dragged them onto the other project. Some processing happened and after a few seconds I got a dialog which said that some problem with the library happened and that I have to quit Aperture and restart Aperture with control-shift-option. There was only an okay button and the next (same dialog) appeared... and again/again... Finally I was able to quit Aperture and restart Aperture.
    After restarting Aperture several images in the source project were grey with a question mark and a link icon in the lower left.
    Looks like Aperture cannot move images reliably between projects. That would be a huge bug.
    Regards,
    Rainer Joswig

    Hi Rainer,
    Have you tried again to rebuild your Library
    (Option/CMD on relaunch)? THis might fix the grey
    images in the souce location. Where the images which
    were dragged to the other Project OK? What hapens if
    you make an adjustment on one of the grey images?
    Does it render the thumbnail?
    Also, check you task manager to make sure it's still
    not trying to render the thumbnails. Though, it's
    most likely not the case given the question mark on
    the image.
    I did the library rebuild now. The problems seem to have gone.
    Then I also copied a few more pictures between projects. So far
    the problem has not shown again.
    Best Regards,
    Rainer Joswig

  • Return Image from JNI

    hi....
    sorry.. someone knows if i can get a icon or image from native code
    i'm tried to do this but i dont know so much c++.
    i can return int values and String values but image u Object from C++
    i think is diferent someone knows how to do it
    thans and please helpme on this...

    Generally, very very generally, on these forums and others, people often asks how to do XYZ in a coding level. And at the same time, you often give straight reply to them questions however complex or brittle tasks they are. We see very few occasion in which you interrogate design level viability or soundness of the intention those questions imply.
    I think wise reply should often ignore the question itself and instead ask its application level objective or circumstance. Then you may give much better solution than straight answer to the original question.
    Q: How to kill mosquitos in the room without harming my baby?
    Straight Answer: Use drug ABC and tool PQR.
    Wise Ansewer: Forget killing them. Buy and install good screens.

  • Protect Image from Copying

    Can anyone tell me how to protect images on my site from
    being copied?
    Is there a way to code or something in Dreamweaver I can
    implement to prevent a right click copy?
    I'm currently using Dreamweaver 8.
    Thank you

    No, the people here with experience try to give additional
    information in an
    effort to help someone.
    Sharing the fact that disable right click is amateur, doesn't
    work and so on
    is not a faux rule to be abided by.
    It's simply good advice.
    Many people like this forum because people with experience
    don't just give
    the recipe the person is looking for, they add some
    real world experience and offer advice to try to HELP the
    user avoid some
    mistakes or mis-understandings.
    Offering someone information he or she may not have
    considered is neither
    elitist or judgmental of whether someone is a "true" designer
    (Who even said
    that?).
    It's simply kind and responsible.
    Take care,

  • Can I import edited photos (and their raw originals) from Aperture in groups, like 5-star images from a project?

    I have 30,000 images in Aperture and it keeps crashing. I've run out of memory on my MacBook Pro running 10.8.6 and I want to switch over to Lightroom for all new photos and slowly migrate my best ones over to LR as well. I've edited many of my best shots already, probably 6000 or more, so I need to feel confident that cropping, editing, rating, and metadata will all migrate successfully.
    Also, can I load the Lightroom itself onto an external hard drive and keep all my images off my laptop? If I edit them, do the edits remain on my laptop regardless of where the originals reside. I think that's the issue that I'm running into with Aperture:  edits stay on my laptop even though originals are on an external HD.
    Thanks for your feedback on both of these matters.

I think that's the issue that I'm running into with Aperture:  edits stay on my laptop even though originals are on an external HD.
    Your photos can be on any hard disk, internal or external or network. If they are stored on an external hard disk, then when you import them into Lightroom, you select the ADD option and the photo will remain on your external hard disk. The edits are stored in your Lightroom catalog (as opposed to "remain on my laptop"). Once you import photos into Lightroom, you no longer want to manage them (move, copy, delete) using your operating system. You do all photo management in Lightroom.
    If you transfer the photos properly, your edits, cropping, metadata, etc. will transfer to Lightroom, but I will leave the details to some expert on Aperture.
    If I could offer some advice, I don't think you want to just transfer SOME of your photos to Lightroom. In my opinion, you want ALL of your photos managed by Lightroom, and not some in application 1 and some in application 2. This makes your life much easier when trying to find your photos, you don't have to think "Is this photo in Lightroom or is this in Aperture?"  (Note: this doesn't mean you have to import all the photos from Aperture into Lightroom in one HUGE operation; you can certainly do the importing in manageable sized groups)

  • Emptying Aperture trash doesn't remove images from library

    Not sure what's going on.
    Did a little house cleaning over the past few days and deleted about 2K images overall. And I emptied the aperture trash. The number of files in the program goes down. But the size of the library doesn't change. The date of for the library does change and shows the current time.
    I archived all my images to an external vault. That vault is significantly smaller than my library.
    Then I upgrade to the new version 3.1.2. Deleted preferences.
    I created a new library as a test. I imported 188 images. Then deleted a few. Emptied the aperture trash. The number of images went to 152.
    The size of my library remained unchanged. No aperture images in main computer trash can. And when I go into the masters folder in the library I see all 188 images there.
    System: mac pro 2006. OS 10.6.8

    Thanks for taking the time to reply.
    I don't remember which version I upgraded from. But the problem was there in the old version as well as the new one.
    I did do the repair rebuild just before upgrading with only a 0.1GB difference in file size afterwards.
    And, as I said, when creating a brand new library with only 188 images the same problem occurred. So 2 separate libraries on the same drive.
    I just created a new library as a test on my main drive (a different drive) with the same issue. Files are deleted in the program but not in the library.
    There is no problem with the trash in any other respects. Other files have been deleting just fine.
    The aperture deleted images aren't even reaching the trash can.
    I might need to reload aperture.

  • Problem with protecting images from copying.

    Woah, hold on... I just got back from a  shoot and checked out my site only to realize (I don't know why I just realized it) that none of my 200 + images in my galleries are protected against downloading! I don't think flash is the way to go now as it's on the way out. I would look into html5, JS... If you do a web search you will find quite a few free and usable "bits". I agree that Muse should have more functional and relavant widgets.
    If you still want to use flash for an image gallery then check out the free ones here http://www.paulvanroekel.nl/picasa/visuallightbox/index.asp . All you need is Picasa. Once your gallery is created locate the folder and upload it to your server. Then embed it into Muse. I use it for "Page Flip" galleries. Works like a charm

  • Why doesn't downloading images from chrome show up in my finder?

    It's happened every since I had this computer. I would download a file, most often an image file, doesn't matter if it's jpg, png, or gif, but it wouldn't show up whenever I looked for it in the finder. Is there a certain setting I have in place that is causing this? I don't know what to do. When I change my desktop background, however, I can see all the images I've downloaded from chrome, but I just can't seem to view them in the finder. It's really weird. Anyone have this problem?

    Check the downloads location.
