Milestone Confirmation for Process Orders

Hi,
We are using PPPI and I am trying to perform a milestone confirmation for phase (COR6).  Although it is working without errors, it prompts you for which phase to confirm.
In discrete PP, you set up milestones, and when you go to CO11 - confirm operation, the system automatically goes to the details for the first milestone operation.
Is there any way you can do this with proces orders for COR6, ie automatically go to the detail screen for the milstone phase?
Regards,
Fotini Delgado

Hi
u can use t; code COR6 : confirmation of process order
we can enter operation number (same as final one )
so we can directly confirm last Phase
or
We can use
CORR : for collective confirmation of process order
or
CORZ : confirmation : for time event
please tell me if u have any more question
Thanks

  • Progress confirmation for process order

    Hello to all,
I want to use the progress confirmation functionality for process order. I know that it is possible for production orders, but I couldn't find respective transaction for process order. Do you know if it is possible to use progress confirmation for process orders.
    BR,
    Nikolay

Thanks for your inputs, but they are not useful!
    COR6 - it cannot be used once the order is confirmed at phase level;
    COOISPI - it's a report
COR6N -it is the standard transaction for process order confirmation
I want to do so-called "unplanned milestone" for process orders, something similar to CO1F for production orders.

  • Milestone Confirmation Between Process Orders

    Hi,
I am trying to create a milestone confirmation, but perhaps I am not understanding the process correctly. In my scenario I have a recipe (material A) with a phase. In this phase I create a relationship of "FF" to another recipe (material B)which is a component for material A.
Next, I create a process order for material A. Perform MRP run, and a planned order for material B (component for A) is generated based on the recipe in A. I convert this planned order into a process order and receive a relationship maintain message to which I answer yes to.
It was my understanding at this point that when I confirm the order for material A, the confirmation for material B will be carried out as well. This has not been the case. During confirmations of order for material A under "Goods Movement" should I see the 101s and 261s of material B?. Confirming order A appears to have no effect on order B?.
-Config settings for the control Key confirmation = "1" (Milestone Confirmation) , Aut. goods Reciept Checked
-Recipe relationship maintained for material A as recipe B as a Predecessor. It appears recipe for material B is also updated   respectively to recipe for material A.
Anyways, if anyone can tell me why I have the wrong idea of these relationships and why this setup will not work per my expectations in paragraph 3, it is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    sifter

    Hi Madhu,
First off thank you for replying, I did not think any one would after this long. If I am understanding you correctly then you are saying that each phase or operation replaces my current system of creating multiple independent process orders for each material.
I am a little familiar with the logistics of PP-PI but I am now trying to reconfigure the planning to make the situation more easily. We currently have order of material A which drives order for material B. Now, we do not know the yield of order B until the confirmation of order A is complete. So the current process puts the Yield needed of Order B into COGI error. Then this Yield is confirmed and COGI corrected. This step seems completely unnecessary and I would like to eliminate this . However we would still need to adjust components in confirmation of order B to capture production variances.
Anyways, I think I need to do some much reading on PP-PI before proceeding. However, If you could please explain what the differences between an operation, phase and task are it would be much appreciated. I have also come across the collective order option I am now investigating. Would my current situation be appropriate for applying collective order special procurement for material B, instead of maintaining relationships in the recipes. Again thank you for your insight.
    Thanks,
    sifter

  • Issue during CO43 for Process Orders

    Dear SAP Experts,
I have a scenario where in Process Order is created in COR1, after that in COR2 i entered the qty then i did the confirmation for process order, now MIGO is done till now everything look fine with no errors.
But now when i do CO43 for this Order in the result screen no data is displayed.
    Kindly advice.

    Hi All
Try to check if the confirmation was really posted (KOB1 check production and consumption).
Sometimes the production/consumption posting is waiting for correction in transaction COFC/COGI.
If it´s OK, try to review your costing sheet for overhead.
In CO43, go to Extras - Settings and review the rules. Maybe this order doesnot fits the rule to calculate overhead.
Be sure you are not running again by mistake.
    Regards.

  • Need a BAPI/FM for process Order Confirmation

    Hi guys,
I need a bapi or Fm for process Order confirmation.
    thnx in advance

    Checck
    BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_ACT
    BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR
    BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TE
    BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT
Better read the documentation of each BAPi using the tcode BAPI and proceed.
I feel BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_HDR would do your purpose.
    Documentaion:
    <b>
You can use this method to enter order confirmations for production orders.
You can also transfer good movements, that are posted together with a confirmation. If no goods movements have been entered for a confirmation, they are determined using the standard logic for backflushing and automatic goods receipt for confirmations. </b>

  • GR Cost not updating as Target Cost for process orders

    Dear SAPians,
We are facing an issue in Target Vs Actual cost reporting for process orders. We are creating a process order after cost estimate of that material and doing the confirmations for activity cost. After that, GR has been done for the finished goods of that process order. That GR entry is updating the Actuals values but not updating the Target cost. When I am checking the standard report KKBC_ORD, I am getting the following figures.
Cost Elemnt Text     |     Target Cost     |     Actual Cost     |     Target Vs Act
    Inventory Chnge FG     |     0     |     1,472,205.60-     |     1,472,205.60-
    Packing Matrl Cons.     |     1,148,142.37     |     1,252,752.68     |     104,610.31
    Raw Material Cons.     |     60,463.91     |     50,688.29     |     224.38
    Semi-Fin Matrl Cns.     |     181,934.68     |     367,959.56     |     186,024.88
    Labour Cost Activity     |     39,735.36     |     39,862.80     |     127.44
    Machine Cst Activty     |     41,611.75     |     43,153.01     |     1,541.26
That 'Inventory Change FG' entry is showing the GR posting updating actuals and not target cost. This is causing huge difference in target vs actual cost that will affect the profit and loss figures ultimately.
What am I missing here? What should I do to update the GR amount in Target cost as well.
    Shirazi

    Dear,
Target Cost on Production Order or Process Order is shown only when Variance is Calculated.
So please calculate the Variance, system will show the Total Target Cost.

  • Confirmation of process order create : goods movement

    Dear Sir/Madam ,
I am using the Transaction Code - CORK for confirmation of process order , but promblem is that when i am saving the goods for confirmation then material pi101 has some error i.e the material pi101 is locked by another user or something , then that is not confirmed but rest of the material which are having 531 movement are confirmed ,
so i want that if the first material i.e pi101 which has 101 movement that should be confirmed first then after that rest of the goods having 531 movent confirm,
i have already  searched the userexit for transaction cork i.e CONFPI05 when saving the data and another one is CONFPI06 for   Actual data transfer plz tell me what will be the logic and which structure to call in this userexit because in this userexit the structure which is present is not of use .
    thanks and regards ,
    arun

    Hi,
I believe you would need to append the below line for your code for goods movement.
    wa_timetickets-order_itno = p_itno.  " Order item nos.
Check & revert if it resolves the issue.

Please tell me how to reverse the Goods Receipt for Process Order for which already QM is cleared for that Particular Lot.
But Confirmation is still yet Pending.
I tried MIGO - Cancel - Material Document. But it is showing a message "Process Order already processed".

    Hi,
    Use t code MB31
    Movement type 102
    Stock type = Unristricted use.
Reverse by entering above information then you have to manually cancel the inspection lot.

  • Automatic confirmation in process order

    Hello everybody.
I need made automatic confirmation to some phases in process order, I hade read that this is possible using process messages.
Process management supports the direct confirmation from the PI sheet and process control system to the process order by sending process messages to predefined message destinations.
Someone know what are the steps I need to follow to customize process message?
What are the transactions that I need to use?
In some documentation say that for access process management, I need proceed as follows:
From the main R/3 menu, select the menu options Logistics u2192 Production - process u2192 Process management.
The system branches to the initial process management menu. From here, you can access all the application functions of process management.
But when I access that path there is not any transaction for use process management.
Something is missing for install or what is the transaction that I need use?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
You can do that in T Code CORW.
For the required production scheduler select the batch creation for process order.
Also in the Assignment tab of the process order, there is a field for batch, next to it there is a Create button. Click that, you will get the batch number in that field.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Rohit.
Added: I apologise, its not the Assignment tab in process order. It is Goods Receipt tab.

  • Confirmations for Limit Orders in ECS

In extended classic scenario when creating a limit order, there is an error in process in the local PO related to the follow-on documents for goods receipt with the following error message:
'Combination of GR/IR control not allowed for external services'
It is only possible to create the order in the backend if the Invoice Only option is selected in the Limit Order, but then this means it is not possible to create a confirmation for Limit Orders!
Has anyone else come across this problem in ECS for limit orders?  As far as I am aware the functionality should work with GR-based invoice verification.  In the backend PO it is possible to create the same order without any errors!

    Monica,
    My analysis till now is:
    1) It is true that limit oders are not going with "Confirmation & Invoice" flag. We need to raise OSS.
(There is one additional problem with this is "The vendor master flags don't get transferred to PO" for this you will have to implement the OSS notes 956083.)
Now after applying this notes you see the standard functionality:
    2) If we are creating PO with "Invoice Only" flag then there are follwoing options:
    a) If the "GR based invoice" flag in vendor master is checked then the POs goes into D item category and you can enter a service sheet for them.
    b) If the "GR based invoice" flag in vendor master is NOT checked then the POs goes into B item category and you can enter invoice just after PO.
I made change in V_T163Y for B item category and checked the flag for GR but then too I am not able to enter GR for item category B.
Please assign points for useful answer as applicable.

  • Material staging for process order

    Dear All,
Can we use material staging for process orders.
If possible pls brief the procedure.
    Subbu.

    Using warehouse management /WM) :
    - Create a control cycle for the component, using LPK1. Here you define if the supply will be specific for the order (when weighing takes place in the warehouse) or for released orders (normallu full packages of components and weighing is done at plant level). Reference to a supply area.
    - The resource used in the operation has a reference to the supply area.
    - Components have material master views in WM for the selected storage type
Then, when releasing the orders run LP10 - LP12 to generate the Transfer requirements for the raw materials. These TR will be converted to Transfer Orders and Confirmed, so the stock will be moved to your supply area.
Using Inventory Management, none of the above is required. You can use MF60 to move materials from General Storage Location to Shop Floor SLoc.

  • PP-PI sheet through goods issue for Process order

    Hi,
I want to know how to post goods issue without reference of reservation number against process order through PI sheet.
I defined one call function 'ENTER CONFIRMATION' through which I can enter into confirmation screen but after saving confirmation of process order ,generally I switched on  to transaction CO54 through which one should sent this PI_CONS message to the desired destination but in that I'm getting an error ,that it is not allowing me to post goods issue excess quantity.(WITHOUT REFERENCE OF RESERVATION NUMBER)
how to by-pass that reservation number.
Manually when we do MB1A it will allow us to issue more quantity but that is manually but when it is through PI sheet it is not allowing me to issue excess quantity.
    Regards,
    Amit.

    Hi,
I want to do GI AND GR  through PI sheet ,I already used PI_CONS AND PI_PROD ,but it is not allowing me to enter quantity excess from bom quantity mentioned .it is not allowing me to override reservation quantity while making gr .
I'm doing PI sheet with ALV based.
For to by-pass reservation number I already made zpi_cons and zpi_prod under message category and assigned to instruction category.
