Milestone number tab.

Hi Gurus,
Here in billing plan tab at item level in contract, "Milestone No." field is greyed out. Please tell me how to activate this field. This field is required for report purpose.

Up to and including Release 3.0D, billing plans for milestone and periodic billing were created and maintained exclusively at item level. When making changes to documents across all items, however, a large amount of manual work was required. Due to the large number of manual changes, there was also a high risk of error.
As of Release 3.0E, you can define a billing plan at header level which is valid for all items assigned to it. The header billing plan is maintained at header level. Data copied to the assigned items cannot be changed in the items.
Hence you cannot change the plan at item level.

I am not sure if there is any standard report which will have Milestone in the selection screen, before executing the report. However you can give a range of projects in CN53N/CN53 and check which milestones are associated with which project.

Ctrl+number Tab swiching: How to change Ctrl+1 to open 5-th tab, Ctrl+2 6-th etc.? Possible?

I use keyboard shortcuts a lot. I like the Ctrl+1 etc. shortcuts to change tabs. Unfortunately in recent Firefox Ctrl+1 takes me to 1-st App-Tab, while I'd line it to take me to 1-st "normal" Tab -- is it possible to change it? It should be perfectly simple: I have to tell Fx just to take me to the 1 + X tab, while 'X' is the number of App-Tabs I use. How to do it? It'd be a great advantage if Fx's menu would make it possible. Any ideas? Thanx!

1. CalDAV Log on Synology:
I have tested the connection between the calDAV client on ZTE Open C (Firefox OS 1.3) and the calDAV server on Synology (DSM 5.1) again and I get the same bug "wrong login and/or password". The logs on the Synology NAS show the following (Synology NAS: Control Panel-> File Services -> webDAV -> Advanced Settings -> View Logs -> Select: Connection)
User [testuser] from [192.168.1.6] failed to login in via [WebDAV] due to authorization failure
2. Seperate Folder/Files for calendar on Synolgoy
I have setup the CalDAV files on Synology NASin a dedicated folder. The calendar ist in https://192.168.1.251:5006/dir_PersonalCalendars/testcalendar . Unfortunately the error on the ZTE Open C is the same as before: "wrong login and/or password" .
Interesting is, that if I mis-type the folder or the calendar name, then I get on the ZTE Open C the error: "Something is wrong. Try again later".
This suggests that the folder and files are well recognized when loggin in.

Function module to Update Network Activity Milestone functions tab

Hi all,
I am facing a problem to update the milestone details for Network Activity..
I am using the BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN function module to maintain all the details which i require...But this BAPI Structure for Milestones doesn't contain all fields of milestone ( MLSTD OR MLST ). So i am facing problem to update those fields which are not in BAPI....But i couldn't find any other function module to upate the milestone Function data.....
Can anybody let me know how i can update milestone function data....any function module for use ?

Removing edit number tabs in Pro v7

When I edit a document such as using the Arrow tool or Typewriter there is a number posted w/ each edit. It overlays my comment put in with the typewriter tool. How do I get rid of that number? I am using the program to mark up floorplans w/o using cad.

you will not need it.
The item methods will process exactly the item what the addional item data are related to. In PBO_DETAIL and PAI_DETAIL, use parameter I_LINE_ID for the item reference.
Note: Not only read SCN etc, also the parameters desciption of the methods used.

Service Tax Registration Number field not found in FK01 under CIN TAB

I am not able to find the Service Tax Registration Number field in Vendor Master (FK01/ FK02 / FK03) under CIN Details Tab - under Sales Tax Tab.
We are using ECC5. Also we have checked in another ECC 5 system where we are getting the Service Tax Registration Number field in Vendor Master - under CIN Details Tab - under Sales Tax/Service Tax Tab.

Ctrl+Tab has insufficient number of tab previews. Need more.

I have enabled Ctrl+Tab function to switch between tabs and I'd like to be able to choose between more than 6 tabs. "browser.ctrlTab.recentlyUsedLimit" does not work (I've read somewhere that it was "integer" but after clicking on reset it is now "string" and I can't do anything about it - manual edit in config file?). How can I enable more previews? Preferably 10-15.

I am not trying to waste your time here. I am just trying to clarify the question, and provide some relevant information.
I am presuming you have toggled the pref '''''browser.ctrlTab.previews''''' to true. When I do that I get up to 6 previews, which I guess is all that will fit in a single row across my display screen.
It then has an option to ''[display all (number) tabs]'' but that just opens the dropdown list.
I do not even have the pref '''''"browser.ctrlTab.recentlyUsedLimit"''''' and manually creating such an integer pref with value 7 does not give me an extra preview.
* In fact this article http://www.howtogeek.com/139736/how-to-change-hidden-advanced-settings-in-any-browser/ suggests the pref controls the Minimum number at which the dropdown will display. Not the number of preview tabs.
*I did find this article, but it could be out of date, it says default value is 3 <br /> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.ctrlTab.previewsCount
Possible alternative workarounds.
I can actually get more previews my OS (Ubuntu) will easily display 9 tab previews and allow switching between them using Alt + `
Presumably Windows has something similar from its task bar.
Firefox also has the group tabs feature.
Previously known as Panorama. And probably no longer in development that allows large numbers of ''thumbnails'' of varying size {postage stamp to large preview} to be seen

Discoverer Report: A number field displays # when open in Desktop Edition

I have created a folder in Admin Edition. I set Default Aggregation to Detail for Numeric fields.
I have created a workbook in Desktop Edition. When I open workbook(report) it displays # in numeric fields.
ANy idea why?

Any format change you make inside the EUL will generally only apply to new reports.
If the report already exists it will have picked up the format as it was at the time. You will have to manually adjust the format of the column inside the report.
Before you do this these is one more thing to check. Just grab the edge of the column and make it bigger just in case this is the cause. Desktop will not display part of the number so if the width of the column is not big enough to display the number Desktop will insert # instead. If this is not the case then right-click in the column and select Format Data. Using the Number tab increase the setting.

Relationship between tables milestone and wbs element

Hi Guys,
1.I have taken two tables in my source code retieving milestone number(mlst_zaehl), usage(mlstn),and wbs element(pspsnr)
from TABLE MLST and the other table is PRPS(WBS ELEMENT TABLE, and the fields are psphi(project) , and pspnr(wbs elemrnt,
The problem is i am not getting the project (psphi) FROM PRPS TABLE and the link field is PRPS-PSPNR = MLST-PSPNR.
2.Other requiremnt is in the same program, iam getting reservation quantity and also DELIVERY QUANTITY
if delivery qty equal to reservation quantity then exit and if the reservation qty is NOT equal to delivery qty,
i need to UPDATE the corressponding USAGE , MILESTONE TEXT, AND QTY in milestone table MLST.
please let me know any function to update milestone or BAPI or i sahll use BDC.

I think you want to link MLST and PRPS tables to get the milestone fields...
From Table MLST - Mile stone number - MLST_ZAEHL and WBS element - PSPNR, link the WBS elements with PRPS table - WBS element - PSPNR and for project - PSPHI (Current Project Number).
For project number you can take from PRPS - PSPHI or from PROJ table

How to manipulate a number from a string

Hi All
I am using CRXI and have designed a report that will list all of our fleet starting with the 'Fleet No.' The fleet no. field is a string so that the fleet no.s weren't displaying in numerical order. I converted the field to a number and it then worked fine. Now, of course, the boffins have decided to create new fleet no's '7110.1'. With the field being a number these weren't displaying on my report. I thought if I played with the 'decimal points' that would help. My report now has '101.0' instead of '101' as well as displaying '7110.1'. Is there a formula to suppress the decimal point if it is zero?

Please try this:
1.     Right click on the field (formula field for FleetNo - {@numFleetNo})
2.     Select Format field.
3.     Select the Number Tab
4.     Click on Customize...
Write the following formula in front of Decimals and Rounding by clicking on X-2 editor of both.
if {@numFleetNo} - Floor ({@numFleetNo}) = 0 then
    0
Else
    1

Getting serial number box while transfer post in MB1A but not while doing MIGO

I am getting serial number box while transfer post in MB1A.
But getting below error under serial number tab while doing GR through MIGO of outbound delivery.
Issuing plant and receiving plant, material, batch, qty are same in both cases.
How can I get serial number box when doing GR? Does any customizing changes needed?

Movement type is different for those two screen shots, also you are saying you are using MB1A, but you are using 301 movement type. Generally 301 movement type is not allowed from MB1A t-code.
Please check these SAP notes if relevant for your case.

Serial Number in Third Party Goods Receipt

Hi Gurus,
We are in the process of doing Third Party processing. Settings are done for automatic PR and PO creation from SO and sending it to vendor. We get the ASN data in web portal and that data needs to be imported in GR (MIGO), mainly the Serial Numbers in Serial Numbers Tab in the Item details Menu. Serial Number profile is maintained in Material Master - MMSL procedure assigned to the Serial Number Profile 0002.
In the sand box I am able to get this Serial Number Tab when doing GR (MIGO) and can post it. But not in Development. Please let me if I an missing something or need to do any other setting.

Repetitive milestone copying in the sales order from Projects

Hi friends,
A particular WBS element with, say 5 milestones with the invoice percentages adding up to 100%, can be assigned to multiple line items in a sales order. Hence the milestones can be copied to each line item. I want to stop this repetitive copying of same milestones. Since each milestone has a particular number attached to it, I want to stop this multiple copying with the help of this milestone number. Is there any user exit for this? Please let me know.
