Military discount activation
I came across a link where I could use my military government email address, last 4 of account holders SS#, and the number. This is how you apply military or Student discounts to your At&t wireless account, but I can't seem to find it again. The confirmation email attachments sent has not been received. Any help with locating this link would be appreciated.

Active duty military discount/pro-rated
I've been active duty military for 6+ years, and have constantly asked about getting a military discount. Some don't have an idea what I'm talking about, and others reassured me that it would show up soon on later bills, but it never happens. How do I go about getting the discount, and who do I need to speak to about getting my discount back-dated or pro-rated?
Thank you.click here:

More info. can be found at the below link, then opening the "I’m a member of the military or a veteran. Do I qualify for a discount?" topic.

Military discount in my area - Snellville, GA 30078
Does Best Buy offer a military discount in my area - Snellville, GA 30078?
Hi John,
MMaier is spot-on here: Best Buy does not offer an official military discount at the current time. Some of our stores do occasionally host military appreciation events though and may provide other accommodations. If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to speak with the staff at our Snellville store -- they'd have the most accurate and up-to-date information on in-store events.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

What does it take to get a military discount...
Okay, I went ahead and changed my plan to, surprisingly, a reduced price. Had to call in to get it, since the website suggested I take the great deal of nothing much extra except the $20 increase in my monthly charge. I was on the site trying to figure out how to REDUCE the charge!! Anyway, a customer service rep helped me out by phone and I am happy with that. Didn't need unlimited data anyway, but got 500MB which is good for my wife and I. Don't need unlimited voice and SMS either, but this ended up being the cheapest (wouldn't mind a smaller, less costly Share All package...)
Now I am trying to get the military discount as a retired army type person. I went to the nearest Verizon with my DD214 and ID card, was greeted a the door and put on a waiting list.3 hours later I was still number 3. I don't have time for that.
So I went home and tired on line. Verizon doesn't make it easy for a retired military person to get the discount. The discount page, which mentions the discount, is set up for corporate discounts. So I put in the information asked for along with my AKO email address. Got a message with a link that didn't work. So I call to customer service.
The guy I talked to had me go through the whole process again, even though I repeatedly told him that this pathway was the exact same dead end. He "knowingly" told me to keep going. Well, guess what happened. "Surprisingly" I got a message with a link that didn't work.
He directed me to another link that asked for a pay stub. SUPPOSEDLY a DD 214 was good enough to get my discount!!! I asked about that and he told me I needed a pay stub. I know better, or at least I think I do. Anyway, I uploaded by DD 214 instead.
Now I have been told that my PAY STUB was not valid for a discount. My next question is pretty simple... Did ANYONE READ the document? Next question... WHAT are the requirements? IS A DD 214 SUFFICIENT? According to the lady at the store it IS.
Is there any page on the Verizon discount webpage maze where I can submit a DD 214 to a PERSON who will read it?
Would it be possible for a webmaster to simplify the maze for military discounts?
I am doing all this in an attempt to get Verizon down to an acceptable cost level. I am already looking elsewhere and doing the math and if I don't get this discount I will be heading to another carrier.
5 year customer, shaky on year 6Hey there alfromcolorado,
I want to start off by thanking you for your continued support to our country. Verizon Wireless and I appreciate all that you and your fellow service men and women do. Keep up the great work. I absolutely want to make sure that you are receiving the proper discounts.
The DD 214 is a valid document and I apologize that you have had some troubles uploading it. If the website is giving you issues I would recommend taking your DD 214 into one of our corporate store locations. I know that 3 hours is a long time to wait, but I can assure you that is not the normal wait time at a store location. Visit http://bit.ly/3SdsA to find the closest store location to you.
I am confident that we can get your discount added and continue our relationship for years to come. Thanks again for all that you do.

Can you use both an employee discount and a military discount on one account?
Can you use both an employee discount and a military discount on one account?
No.
You can only have one ELEU (Employee Corporate Discount) on an account
So choose the one that has the greater percentage which is probably the military. -
Does Verizon give Military discounts?
I was wondering if Verizon gives Military discounts. My son is in the Navy and wants to be on his own plan. He is on mine now, but we didn't know if he could get a discount on a plan of his own. Thank you for your help.
They give government discounts of 12-15% with proof of employment. It is not a discount in the way of student, military, or senior discounts though.

Does the Iphone 5s have a military discount?
I was just wondering if Apple offered a military discount on the Iphone 5s yet?
Look and find out for yourself.
A simple search of the forums before posting would have revealed the answer.
FYI, these are user to user technical support forums, not a discussion board. -
I noticed in the FAQ's for the single line plans that they are eligible for the EDGE discount. I just recently was able to get my Veteran status verified for my Military discount. FYI, DO NOT try to do the verification process online, it takes forever and three days! It only took thirty minutes in line at the retail location versus online, where I've been waiting for five days and it STILL is not verified!!! Anyways, while at the retail location I asked about their smartphone plans and I was quoted $75.00 for the single line plan at 2GB, but was also told that it was already discounted and thus was not eligible for my Military discount. If that is true then those plans should not be eligible for the EDGE discount either, but they are. So what is the correct answer?
Okay, so this is what I get out of all this.... The Military discount provides a 15% discount to monthly plans of $34.99 and above. A 25% discount on accessories is also available. So I could get a Single Line Plan with 2GB of data for $75.00 a month OR I could get a More Everything Plan for one line ($40.00 Line Access Fee - 15% Military Discount = $34.00) with 2GB of shareable data ($50.00 - 15% Military Discount = $42.50) for $76.50? In other words, a person without a Military (or for that matter any other) discount can get the SAME service cheaper (especially with the EDGE Single Line rate being only $65.00) than I could, after having served this great country of ours. Let's not forget that the Single Line plans are NOT eligible for the Military Discount, but they ARE eligible for the EDGE discount... Well ain't that just swell. What a (removed) to those of us that served! Thanks for much of nothing Verizon!!
If I am wrong, please forgive me, but then again that is why I am posting this, for clarification. I can not understand for the life of me why Verizon would not allow the Military Discount for the Single Line Plans, since they DO allow for the EDGE discount. Come on...

Does military discount stack with coporate discount?
Does the military discount also stack with the corporate discount?
No, you can have one or the other but not both.

Student or military discount for cheap iPhoto / iLife?
Is there a student or military discount for iphoto or ilife? if not, where can I get them cheaper than $15 each? $15 is like 2-3 hours of babysitting money D: Cant wait till graduation heh
My next question is where did you buy the refurbished MacBook?
If you check in the refurbished Mac section of the refurbished Apple Store all refurbished Macs are supposed to come with both OS X and the iLife apps. So if you bought it from Apple go back and ask the store to assist you in getting the iLife apps that you were supposed to receive installed.
If you bought a refurbished Mac from someone else, then you will have to take that up with the vender. Or break out the babysitting money to get iPhoto. -
How do I contact welfare team to apply military discount to my accounts?
How do I contact welfare team to apply military discount to my accounts? Was told after speaking with 150 yesterday to go I store to sort it. After a wasted 30 minutes in store and over an hour travelling that this isn't the case.speaking with 150 they say I must go to Welfare option on website that doesn't seem to exist.
You probably need to speak to your HR Dept. It'll be an option on your own website.

Need Help for Military Discount?!?!?
My husband has been in the Army for a year now, and we went to Verizon SPECIFICALLY because we we're told that a Military Discount is offered. First I was told by our provider at home that he needed to wait until our first duty station and set up the discount through the Military. When he tried that we were told to come online to set it up. But I'm not finding much.. I really would like help getting this, otherwise I don't know if we'll stick with Verizon after our 2 year contract!
THANKS! EmilyMaybe this will help.

Anyways if you are the new Share Everything plan the discount will be on the "data" portion only. If you are on the old Nationwide plans then it will come off the main line but not any data plan unless the main line has a data plan over $50. -

I am in the military and got the email sent to my military email address for the link to the discount but every time I try and click on the link a new tab opens up and says "Link Disabled". What do I need to do for this link to be able to work?
Theres no way to get the link its self to work unless there are full disabled web addresses with the red X's, what you will want to do is do the paystub (LES) upload or mail in options.
