Mimumum GR qty set to 1 unit

Hi,
My User keyed in a qty less than 1. example 0.50.
The UOM is PC.
How can I configure such that the minimum GR qty must be at least 1 pc?
if User key in 0.5, it will prompt or round up to 1 pc.
Thanks

I am the opinion that your base unit is just wrong defined, a base unit PC does not make sense if it can be receipt or issued in fractions.
and if you just got a part of a piece, then it does not make any sense to show a full piece in stock based on roundings or whatever foolish methods.
Ask your receiver why he posted 0,5. when you do MIGO, then the PO quantity is proposed, so he must activly have changed this proposal to receive less than a full piece. Try to understand his point of view and find a proper solution together with him.
redriver already posted earlier replies from me to the same question which indicates an OSS note that describes that you cannot round physical inventory.

  • Why are there 2-sets of IMAGE UNITS in Motion 5?

I seem to have 2-sets of Image Units in my Motion 5 library:
The first set has an icon exactly like the Filters icon; the second set has an icon exactly like the Generators icon.
I have read elsewhere online that it appears not everyone has the first set of Image Units, that perhaps it has something to do with running OS 10.7 Lion, but this has not been confirmed.  I am currently running Lion, and I do have these Image Units, but they do not seem to do anything when I put them in the Timeline.
Some examples of these Image Units are: 1) Glass Distortion, 2) Glass Lozenge, 3) Copy Machine (transition)... there are 123 of these in the Image Units folder, and it looks like they might do some really cool things if I could get them to work.  If I cannot get them to work then I'd like to remove them from the Motion library, if only I could figure out how to do that as well.
If I right-click on the Motion application icon and choose "Show Package Contents" these Image Units do not appear anywhere, and a Spotlight search for "Image Units" does not reveal anything significant either.
Please help me figure out 1) What is this second set of Image Units?
                                          2) If not everyone has them, how did I get mine?
                                          3) How do I get them to work?
                                          4) If they do not work, how do I remove them?
    Thanks so much!

    1) the 2nd set of Image Units are actually Generators, which means, when applied to the canvas, you will get a Generator Pane in the inspector. You cannot add a generator Image Unit to another object and affect it's appearance as you can with a Filter Image Unit.
You can Apply Filter Image Units to Generator Image Units... LOL but not vice versa.
***STAY AWAY FROM RANDOM GENERATOR*** it does NOT belong to Motion -- it belongs to Core Image and is accessible in Quartz Composer (there are others too, in the filter image units... they will appear to do "nothing" [all of the Area XXXX filters are such])  Clicking on Random Generator has been known (and does for me as well) to crash Motion.  If you want or need a random number, use the Numbers generator and click the Random checkbox. For everything else, use the wriggle behavior.
    2) Everybody is supposed to have them. If they don't, something screwed up in the installation.
    3) Filter Image Units will have parameters under the Filter Tab of the selected object under the heading of the Filter Name or the name you give it in the Layers palette. [Generator Image Units answered in #1]
    4) You can't, and you don't want to: they belong to the System (Core Image); but for the ones that do nothing or can crash Motion, you will just have to learn to avoid them.

  • Stumped. How to set colspec/@colwidth units?

In a CALS table (in DITA), the colspec/@colwidth value is written with an "in" suffix. I'd like to use other units (like "mm"). For a frame, equation or facet, you can use the r/w rule of ..
         specify size in mm;
.. to set the units. But this doesn't work for tables (or the colspec element). I've tried setting the global units in the document properties. It shows as "mm" in the UI for setting a column width, but in the XML it's always written out as "in". FM will properly read colwidth values other than "in", but on save they always go back to "in".
Have I completely broken something that should work, or is it not possible to set units other than "in"?
    Thanks!

  • My Firefox Sync is set on 2 unit, but nothing is syncing

The Mozilla Support instructions state that one needs to be on the new version of Sync in order for devices to share information with each other. I already have the latest versions of Firefox (33.1.1) on both my Origin Laptop and my Surface Pro 3 (both with Windows 8.1), but there is no syncing, i.e., no movement of bookmarks, folders, etc. when managing same on either unit. Please let me know specifically what needs to be done get each unit to sync with each other. Thank you.

Accessing that link was the first action I took. The first item in that link (I set up Firefox Sync but nothing is syncing) is the issue. Please read my first sentence of my original question. I cited the instructions contained in that first item (I set up Firefox Sync but nothing is syncing) in that I already have the latest versions (33.1.1) of Firefox on both my devices. (The instructions state that both devices need to be on the new version of Sync in order to share information with each other). I presume that since I have the latest versions of Firefox on both devices, I also have the latest versions of Sync.

  • OK, my modem went down for WiFi. I replaced it. When I went to set up the unit again for restart it took me to Cupertino in California, how do I get it back to Ontario?

Here is my problem in a little more detail. Months ago, my Apple TV unit was not connecting with the WiFi network. I called Apple, and a really helpful women figured out what was wrong. Well, this time, my WiFi modem needed to be replaced, so I did. I followed the advice and restarted my Apple box, to restore. Well, it went back to the "Cupertino" server or what ever it's called, From California, instead of setting up fpr Central Ontario. My network is "tallpines2".
Now, I cannot make a connection at all. I'm out of the one year warranty by well, a year! How do I reconnect my Apple TV unit so my wife and I can watch our movies again?
We are both retired, and live on a tight budget. Apple wants $39.00 to help me. There must be a better way to get some help?
    Sincerely;

  • PR qty in PO - Order unit Qty

Hi Happy New Year to all.
I have a material for which bas unit of measure is EA. Order unit is Box(1 Box = 6 EA). I have maintain conversion factor in mat master.
My question is that if my
PR qty is 6 or less than 6 then my order qty should be 1 BOX.
PR qty is 12 or less than 12 then my order qty should be 2 BOX.
MRP (VB) will be run every week.
PR created automatically by system in base unit of measure only. Is it possible to create PR in Order unit (BOX)?.
For example, when i refer my PR (qty 9) in PO, system picks the order unit as 2 BOXu2026.no problem)
But the real problem is that i have system message 00 06 076 as error message which is to check the PR qty in PO (My PO qty shouldnu2019t be more than PR qty). Due to this message i am not able to create PO(since PO qty exceeds PR qty in this case) .
Is there any way when the system creates PR with Base unit of measure along with order unit also?
    Thanks

    hi,
PR is always created with base unit of measure only.
If you want the order unit field can be displayed in PR by changing the layout which is not usually the
    case
    1) PO qty always less than PR and 2) rounding value is defined    these 2 contradict each other
You should solve this first.Either change the error message to warning or remove the rounding value in material master so that PO qty is always less than PR.
    thanks

  • Is it feasible to set up 21 unit hotel with Mac Mini's in each room?

I am building a 21 unit condo hotel in Mexico, and want to have mini's in each room connected to 42" HDTV, the features I want are
    1. WiFi using "share internet"
    2. Skype installed for calls
    3. iChat for communicating with the front desk, restaurant and other rooms
    4. Maintaing a large iTunes collection (music, video and pictures) for viewing
    5. ability for clients to access their account (bill)
Does this make sense? and are there any consulting firms that would help me set this up?

    Hi HotinPlaya,
    This is a great plan!
Your WiFi connection should just use a WiFi router or Apple Airport Extreme Base station. Just one might not cover all of your units. The Apple base stations may be more expensive, but they are more easily chained together to create one large WiFi network.
As for the other applications, these are all very doable. The only problem would be that your hotel guests might be able to make too many changes, and you would have to spend too much of your time re-installing or reconfiguring the system or applications. I would therefore suggest that you create an admin account and a then create a separate "user" account for each computer - and make it a "Managed with Parental Control" account. this will prevent the end users (your hotel guests) from making too many changes. If you leave the systems wide-open to changes, you will soon find that you either will be hiring someone to fix all of the computers or having to give it up completely.
An even better (but costlier) method would be to use a Mac OS X Server system to setup the "client" Mac Mini's. Mac OS X Server allows you to configure all of your client systems remotely.

  • Setting priority on Unit Tests - is it possible?

Is it possible to set a priority level (low, medium, high) to the units within a test package. Not on the test cases, but when the test plan is generated the option "with transaction" is selected. And we are testing the unit/transaction can you set a priority at the unit level so it appears in the workbench (STWB_WORK).
Is so where do you do that?
    Thank you
    Dan

    Dear Daniel,
I think you want to change the status values appearing in the status tab of test plan all the individual test cases.
    Go To Tcode STWB_SET.
From here select the status definition and place the status values you are interest in........this will do the needful.
Please reward points if it helps.

  • Sales Order Confirmed qty set to zero even without credit check at SO level

    Hi
Credit management is implemented and dynamic credit limit check has been assigned only for delivery doc types for blockig PGI.
There is no credit limit check assigned to sales order types as per the customers requirement.
However, we came across a scenario where, the confirmed quanties in a sales order were set to zero even though stock was available for the materials and no credit block at SO level.
The issue was however resolved by going into change mode of sales order>edit> check availability. The schedule lines for all the materials were confirmed.
Unable to figure out why the schedule lines were not confirmed even though stock available.
Checked the routiine 101 in OVB8 but it only applies if credit limit check active at sales order level.
Also checked 'conf.block' for 01-credit limit check in OVZ7 but even this applies if credit limit active at sales order level.
Note: This happened only once. The same scenario was tested in Quality system and there the schedule lines were confirmed even when the customer exceeded the credit limit.
Please let me know if I hav overlooked anything that needs to be checked.
What could be the reson for the items not being confirmed when the order was created?

    Hi Vinayak
    Thanks for your response.
As you said it migt be bcos of the conf block at OVZ7, but the F1 help for that says that it applies when there is a credit limit check related delivery block in the sales order.
However, in my case, there is no credit check assigned at sales order level.
And also when I tried to recreate the scenario by creating an order for a customer who had exceeded the credit limit, it didnt delete the confirmed qty from the schd lines even after saving.
ANy possible reasons other than credit check conf block that could have led to schd lines not being confirmed inspite of sufficient stock??

  • Setting default ruler units

I am trying to use indesign cs6 for the first time. I started by watching the video tutorial (ten things beginners should know) on adobe TV. already I've run into a problem.
in the tutorial the guy sets up a new document and the preset for margins on the create new document page is in inches. this is what i would like mine to be. however, my default is set in points/picas. I read a discussion thread in this forum saying to go into preferences>units of measurement in order to change the default to inches. I did that. problem solved!
except...when I go to create a new document the menu has reverted back to points/picas. I've tried a number of times, quiting the program, etc. It will not change the presets, which quite defeats their purpose. Is this a glitch? advice?
    thanks!

Make sure you have no open documents and the set the units to inches.

  • ME11, set automatically price unit to 1000

    Hello,
We always create purchasing info records with condition for 1000 unit.
Transaction ME11 sets by default this field for 1 PC, if the user forgets to update this, it triggers huge discrepancies on goods receipt.
Is there a way in the layout or with automatic substitution to set this field automatically to 1000 ?
