My video source cant be found in version 13 Sony HDR HC7. It should be supported and is seen i the tuturial view but not in "Import video" menu. Cant update either????

Premiere Elements 13 on what computer operating system?
What are you trying to update? There should be nothing to update. There is no update to 13, like 13.1. And, the program should come with Camera Raw 8.6 which I believe is the latest version of Camera Raw.
Your Sony HDR HC7 appears to be a miniDV camcorder. Premiere Elements 13 no longer offers DV and HDV Capture. Adobe document suggests a workaround if you are interested.

When trying to do updates via App Store I got the message "Kan inte ansluta till iTunes Store" in english "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". How to solve this problem?
Efter att ha försökt att använda annat wifi fick jag samma problem dvs. kunde fortfarande inte göra uppdatering av mina appar. Jag prövade att ta bort flera stycken av dessa men det var ingen skillnad. På resa med ytterligare ett annat wifi lyckades det helt plösligt, vet inte varför. Får se om det blir samma problem nästa gång jag blir uppmanad att uppdatera appar.

Kan inte komma till appstore och allt annat youyube o.s.v.....när jag var i Media Markt i kristianstad (där köpte jag min ipad för 11mån sedan) dem kunde inte see något fel för att där internet på ipad fungerade men hemma nej jag har Wi-Fi ock kort men ingenting som fungerar :8 kunnat tänka att det fel stele vår vi bor men andra enheten som mac och iphone fungerar utan problem och den här ipad fungerade i 10mån ochså det händer något men vad jag kan inte fixa den jag provat allt vad jag kn updatera återstela o.s.v men de samma sak nu garanti gäler bara i 3veckor till vår ska jag vända mig ???

How do I upgrade my Core2Duo Mini OSX10.4.11 to the latest version of Snow Leopard?
I am aware I should upgrade from 1GB to 2GB of RAM. Can I just purchase the Snow Leopard DVD and install from that? Will I be able to run my Microsoft Office 2004 suite? Is it worth doing? I can't run any decent browsers with this old dinosaur.....but I'd rather not cough up $600 clams for a new one....
I have 7GB available on my hard drive.
Thanks in advance for help with this.You may also want to upgrade the HD or at least move large libraries onto external disks (since a macmini generally does not move like a laptop an external disk is just another desktop item). 7 GB free will be chewed into hard by SL and you should always have 15-20 GB free to allow OSX room to perform normal operations.

Sony HDR-HC3 to FCP to Color to FCP to Mac Mini
Hi,
My objective is to play our edited family videos using our Mac Mini(2.0 GHz Core 2) on a Sony 52" LCD at full 1080 resolution. The video is stored on a Firewire attached 1 TB LaCie external disk.
I use a Sony HDR-HC3 video camera (HDV 1440x1080i 25 fps) and use FCP 6.0.4 for editing. I have recently been learning Color for grading.
1. Currently reading footage into FCP as ProRes 422. Footage comes in with the following profile:
Sequence Preset: Apple ProRes 422 1440x1080 50i 58 kHz
Capture Preset: HDV-Apple ProRes 422
Current captured footage I'm working with has a data rate of 12.5 MB
2. Once editing is complete, I "Send To" Color and perform the grading
3. From Color, I "Send to FCP". (It asks "Change graded FCP seq. to match the QT export codec?" not sure whether I click Yes or No here)
4. After selecting Yes, the footage returned back to a new sequence in FCP now has the following profile:
Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)
1920x1080
21.6 MB/sec
From reading the Apple documentation, I was expecting something funny to happen coming back from Color.
5. I then send this sequence to Compressor where I select the "Apple | Formats | Quicktime | H.264" preset in the hope that I can render out an H.264 1920x1080 file to play on the Mac Mini. It renders it but the Mini can't play the video smoothly.
As I am still learning, I would appreciate any suggestions on an alternative workflow that can lead me to a 1080 video file that can play smoothly on the Mac Mini.
The Apple TV preset renders a video that works smoothly on the Mini, but I'm hoping for the full resolution.

Yes, I've tried to have the Log and Transfer recognize the card (through both the card reader and lately, by using the camera as a deck but without luck).The card reader and camera mount on my desktop as NO NAME and when I ADD VOLUME I scroll down to devices and click on NO NAME but L&T doesn't recogize the source and nothing happens. That's why I went in to see if the AVCHD folder might be recognized and got that invalid directory message. Following your tutorial I went into preferences button on the right hand upper corner of the L&T interface and selected the AVCHD - Apple Prores LT path in case that made a difference, but no go. Any other suggestions/thoughts?

I have mid 2009 Mac Book Pro running 10.9.1. The hdmi mini port no longer supports sound on the Sony TV. This is apparently a change. It no longer shows as an option in system preferences/sound.Any ideas?
The 2009's didn't support sound on HDMI. That came in 2010. Are you sure it ever worked?

Have mac mini with thunderbolt monitor 1yr old, recently updated with new 10.0.2 from apple, now iMovie doesn't seem to support my Sony HDR-XR500 camera. Is there any help on this?
haha, so now i'm thinking. I'm learning the terminal as fast as i can but there are several lines of codes and commands in there that throws up red flags to me that i don't fully understand. It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I just feel un easy about this. ha.

Connect the camera to the computer with a USB cable and use the camera as the card reader. Make sure the camera is in playback mode.

Jag sitter på en PC just nu och ska installera en icc-profil som jag hämtat hem från eci.org.
När jag högerklickar och väljer "install profile" händer det ingenting, filen hamnar inte i den mapp den ska vara i.
När jag drar över filen till rätt mapp stannar den där men när jag går in i Indesign och klickar på "Load" i Color settings
och väljer min fil får jag upp detta felmeddelande:
Vad är det som händer? Varför kan jag inte installera och ladda in min profil?
