Mini bridge crashes?
I tried to open two images through mini bridge as layers, it opened Bridge and then I received a message indicating that
"Bridge Discontinued, Click OK to continue" this has happened multiple times. It is almost as if it crashed. Any ideas?

Hi, I am hoping for some help with this please.

Since I broght (in Adobe Store) Ps6 for Mac, Bridge does not open and crashes. Mini Bridge, however works fine. What should I do?

Bridge crashing immediately upon launch

I've scoured the Web looking for an answer for this and while I've come across many possible reasons and solutions, none seem to fit the bill.
I am using a Trail of CS-5 Extended (12.0.4) on a Mac Mini, OS-X Snow Leopard 10.6.7, 4GB RAM. While PS will load fine, Bridge crashes. Available memory with PS active is 1.98GB. The following dump is provided and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I don't know how to read a crash report. Lots of stuff here, but is there another tab where it lists FAULTING MODULE? That frequently pin points the cause, at least in a windows machine. Apple may not use the same termanology but should have a similar output. -
Bridge cashe fail while in mini bridge mode.
bridge cashe fails when opeing and I purge it but the message returns each time while in mini bridge mode.Also it has stopped displaying thumbnails it mini bridge. Any ideas?? The full message is 'Bridge encountered a problem and is unable to read the cashe. Please try purging the central cashe in cashe preferences th correct the situation." This doesnot correct the situation. I recently uninstalled my CS5.1. Might that be an issue. I reinstalled it to no avail. thanks, Uhane

Bridge CS6 no longer can find the cashe to update at all and will not quit on it's own I have to force quit the app.. Nor does it update changes in mini bridge. It is static. It does not show any new changes to files since this AM. It seems to not be able to find the cashe to update.. I have purged the cashe many times since and the more I do it the worse it becomes and the more I get the message that I have to do so. I really don't want to have to reinstall yet again. Is there a corrupt file path somewhere? Or can it not get to an open port for some reason. This problem is a rather sudden one. thanks, Uhane.

••I ran CS5 and had CS6 on my system and had no problem.
••I unistalled CS5 using the adobe unistaller.
••Bridge began to not be able to find the user cashe after that and crashed upon loading the folders lib.
••CS6 worked fine but I could not use the mini bridge nor the bridge proper.
••I unistalled CS6 and reinstalled it. Still had the same problem.
••Used the script cleaner mentioned earlier in thsi thread on CS6, there being no CS5 listed.
••And then, of course, reinstalled CS6 AGAin.
••Still the problem persisted.
••I went into the user lib and hand deleted everything I could find for CS5. and then I reistalled for the 4 th time CS6, using the adobe unistaller. And still the problem persists.
••went the adobe script cleaner log report console to see there were no errors nor fails and there were none reported and showed a clean unistall.
So that is the history so far.

I've just had to reinstall photoshop due to a pc crash but now I've reinstalled I can
't view my files in mini bridge. Bridge itself is fine. Do I need to reset something?
ThanksUsually a reinstall does nothing as the preference in Bridge is unaffected. If if worked before the crashyou can reset your preferences by holding down the Ctrl key and starting Bridge. You should get a reset window with 3 options.

Why are no Adobe Drive Volumes available in Mini Bridge?
Mini Bridge is avoiding Adobe Drive Volumes. Why is it like this? It looks like it pro-actively tries to hide them.
One of the few exceptions is in InDesign, when you try to show a linked resource in Mini Bridge. Then it will show the actual folder, but when navigating some folders up, the process associated to Mini Bridge will crash.

Thanks.To summarize so there are not a lot of repeating motifs.
••I ran CS5 and had CS6 on my system and had no problem.
••I unistalled CS5 using the adobe unistaller.
••Bridge began to not be able to find the user cashe after that and crashed upon loading the folders lib.
••CS6 worked fine but I could not use the mini bridge nor the bridge proper.
••I unistalled CS6 and reinstalled it. Still had the same problem.
••Used the script cleaner mentioned earlier in thsi thread on CS6, there being no CS5 listed.
••And then, of course, reinstalled CS6 AGAin.
••Still the problem persisted.
••I went into the user lib and hand deleted everything I could find for CS5. and then I reistalled for the 4 th time CS6, using the adobe unistaller. And still the problem persists.
••went the adobe script cleaner log report console to see there were no errors nor fails and there were none reported and showed a clean unistall.
So that is the history so far.

Photoshop CS6: Mini Bridge's Reveal in Bridge clears Bridge Filter list
I have Bridge CS6's Filter List set to reveal jpegs,PSDs,PNGs,and Tiff files,because those are the common file types I open in Photoshop. I even turn on "Keep Filter when browsing",so I do not have to repeat in each folder.
Then later I will be in Photoshop using the handy mini-bridge. I move to a folder and decide to use the Reveal in Bridge button for a certain image. Clicking on that image does indeed reveal it in Bridge,but it also turns off all my filter selections and I have to set them again.
Any fix for this?Adobe needs to realize that if "as designed" results in users thinking it's a bug or otherwise not useful — then it's a bad design choice and should be revised. They need to leave options in place for people that don't agree with some of their "new" aka bad ideas.
Assuming users don't want to use Mini Bridge vertically is just ridiculous — especially since you can't dock it to the bottom in InDesign like you can in Photoshop.
And not showing folders in the thumbnail view is most unintuative thing to do here. If it's a Mini Bridge, why doesn't it behave like bridge and at least have a check box for filtering out folders or something.
Mini Bridge is kind of useless now.

Unable to load Mini Bridge or other extensions (PS CC 14.2 x64)
Hello, a few weeks ago I ran into update problems with an update to Adobe CSXS Infrastructure 4, and subsequent updates to Creative Cloud app, Photoshop and Illustrator. The updates would not complete and I could not finish the update to Creative Cloud app to sign in. With help from Adobe online tech, the Creative Cloud app was removed, the Adobe Cleaner run, and CC app reinstalled. Once signed in, I uninstalled Illustrator, downloaded and reinstalled it. After that I was able to finish with the Photoshop CC update.
I've used PS CC quite a bit since then and all seems well, except that I am not able to load Mini Bridge or another 3rd party add in product. The messages I receive are:
Mini Bridge could not be launched because the Mini Bridge extension is not installed
3rd party product - onOne - Cannot complete command because the extension could not be loaded
Today (1/17) I applied the 14.2 x64 update hoping it would correct the problem with extensions but it did not. PS CC 14.2 seems to work fine otherwise.
Any help appreciated.
TinaI had the same Problem Adobe had me install three new CEPServiceManager4 folder the third try worked. Here is what I wrote back to them
When I ran Help>Updates there were two updates the CSXS update and and Photoshop CC 14.2. Both update installed however Photoshop extension Mini Bridge was missing.
I was able to copy the folder "Adobe Mini Bridge 3" from the my rename "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4 old\extensions" to the new "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEPServiceManager4\extensions" folder to recover the Mini Bridge extension. -
I need some help! I just upgraded from PS CS2 to CC photoshop, bridge and lightroom CS6 CC. It is very different. I have 2 initial problems. 1) I do not have an option for mini bridge. It isn't in my PS dropdown menu nor an icon at the bottom of the PS work space. Why don't I have a minibridge? 2) In CS2, I could doubleclick on an image in Bridge and it would automatically open it in PS. That doesn't work with CS6 (creative cloud). Should it? Its like the two products are not interacting as they should. What am I doing wrong?

My new late 2012 Mac Mini occasionally crashes while in a game, resulting in this. It seems to happen randomly in pretty much all games, no matter of how intensive they are (in the image, it crashed in Thomas was Alone), and the console doesn't reveal anything obvious as to the cause.
However, it only seems to have started crashing after I have added a new monitor (the 1080p one on the left) for a dual-monitor setup.
If it helps, it's the 2.3 i7 late 2012 model with 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD. The left hand monitor is the LG 22EA53 (1920x1080), connected via DVI using Apple's HDMI to DVI adaptor. The right hand monitor is the LG E1940S (1360x768) connected via VGA using Apple's Mini DisplayPort to VGA adaptor.
I have tried it with just one monitor, and the problem still occurs. I have also run the Apple Hardware Test, which has found no problems.
Thanks for any help - I'm pretty stumped by this one!The Memory test can really only be trusted if it finds a problem, not if it doesn't find a problem. :(
