Typically, I have a min bridge icon but after upgrading to CC2014 It is no longer available.   I looked inside and out and it is not here.  a forum explained to go to WINDOWS>EXTENSIONS>  but that is grayed out.   please help.   I depend on bridge to add layers to photos.

Recently installed Bridge CC and Photoshop CC in Windows 7 enviornment. "Browse in Mini Bridge" option is not available under the File menu. I reinstalled Bridge CC, rebooted, yatta yatta, but no Mini Bridge option. Any ideas how to get it to install/come up?
    Thanks!

Mini Bridge is no longer available, so it's never going to show up again. All Flash-based extension panels were removed from Photoshop, and Mini Bridge was one of them. More info here:

  • Mini Bridge does not open in InDesign after installing 8.0.2 upgrade

This question was previously posted in the InDesign forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5833991#5833991), but it was suggested that I should cross post it here.
I installed InDesign CS6 upgrade 8.0.2.  Now I cannot open Mini Bridge.
If Bridge is not already open,
         - selecting File | Browse in Bridge...  or clicking on the Bridge button: Bridge opens - good!
         - control-click on the Bridge button: I get a Reset Settings error dialog - NOT good!  I cancelled this and Bridge opened fullscreen okay.
         - alt-click on the Bridge button: Two Bridge applications opened fullscreen! - NOT good!
         - shift-click on the Bridge button: Bridge opens, but Mini Bridge does not! - NOT good!
    If Bridge is already open,
         - selecting File | Browse in Bridge... or clicking on the Bridge button: the ruler bars dim and nothing else happens! - NOT good!
         - control-click on the Bridge button: Bridge opens maximized! - good!
         - alt-click on the Bridge button: the already opened Bridge, plus a new Bridge, both open! - is this normal?
         - shift-click on the Bridge button: the ruler bars dim and Mini Bridge does not open! - NOT good!
I have tried resetting the preferences in Bridge and rebooted after doing so.
My main concern is that I cannot get Mini Bridge to open at all.  I can ignore the other problems mentioned above, if I can just get Mini Bridge to open.
This problem does not exist in Photoshop CS6.
I have restored my C: drive from backup twice and tried the upgrade a total of three times.  The results are the same each time.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing my problem and how I might correct it?  I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional SP1, 3.40 GHz Intel Core i7-3770 CPU, 32.0 GB installed memory.

Sorry to hear that, forgot to mention the resetting of preferences in InDesign.
Have you also tried that (ctrlAltShift while starting ID)?
I'm afraid I have not really more ideas and I am a Mac user and don't know anything relevant about Windows.
And ultimate you have of course the option to reinstall CS6 after an official uninstall in combination with the Adobe Clean Tool. But before doing so read all instructions and have a proper back up of all relevant customized settings, workspaces etc.

  • Bridge CC Tools - Photoshop - Batch does not work in Photoshop CC 2014.

in Bridge CC Tools - Photoshop - Batch does not work in Photoshop CC 2014. At first I didn't even see the option but I reinstalled Photoshop CC and now I see the menu option but when I try it there is a message that I need to use Photoshop CC. So I open Photoshop CC and the same thing happens? I can't seem to make it work.

    Hi Peter,
Just to bring you up to speed on what has happened to this issue, none of the suggestions that I received in the Bridge forum helped.  However, after restoring my C: drive back to prior to my updating attempts, I was able to successfully upgrade InDesign in Safe Mode (this is a Windows startup mode that blocks non-Microsoft applications from starting up on reboot).  Mini Bridge is now working correctly.
Thank you again for your assistance.

  • Font not available in Photoshop CS6 or Illustrator CS6 (Mac)

I have installed the Frutiger font family in the font library. It appears in the drop-down menu in InDesign, but not Photoshop or Illustrator. How can I make the font available in these programs?

It’s a ttf file – Frutiger. I’ve managed to get it into InDesign, but not Photoshop or Illustrator. Always seem to have problems with this font!

What language are you talking about? You might need to enable Edit/Preferences/Type/Middle Eastern and South Asian for proper display.

  • Logitech mouse buttons not working in photoshop cc 2014

logitech mouse buttons not working in photoshop cc 2014 winds 8.1. Is this a common problem?
I have updated the latest drivers and have a few buttons programmed with keyboard shortcuts that used to work in previous versions of Photoshop but don't work now.

    any ideas?

Many Photoshop extensions are not compatible with Photoshop CC 2014 for Adobe removed support for Flash Panels in CC 2014. Many extensions panels are flash based.  Check with the developer to see if their blendmein extension works with CC 2014.
Adobe does not maintain Photoshop so it backward compatible with prior versions of Photoshop.  This brakes things like action scripts plugins extensions etc. Keep old version of Photoshop installed....

    BINGO !!!!
Thanks so much Woodsroad. I had the exact same problem with my Dell Windows 7 64 bit with AMD Radeon 6700 Video card.
All the video tests passed with flying colors.
The sniffer rename trick fixed the problem.
    Thank goodness for the internet!

  • Mini bridge doesn't appear in photoshop

I've been trying all day to try to get mini bridge to work (or even show) in Photoshop.
I’ve tried a number of things to get this to work.  I’ve uninstalled all my Adobe CC applications, run the Adobe cleaner file and reinstalled the applications - Adobe Bridge first.  But still not appearing.  I’ve checked under Window/Extensions and can only see Adobe Color Themes.  I’ve also tried installing Extension Manager and Exchange Panel (which doesn’t seem to do anything - as I can’t see it anywhere).
I've also checked adobe forums to see what I could do.  Some mention switchboard preferences, but I can't find these in the system files.
I’m running the latest Adobe Creative Cloud versions (CS6), but cannot get this to work - can anyone help?
    Thanks.

  • Mini Bridge will not load in PSC5

When I'm in photoshop cs5, and click on mini-bridge, it says it can't load.  Same with any other extenions I have.
I've uninstalled the program.  Used MAC keeper, which is supposed to remove everything.  But I reinstall CS5, said it was installed, even though I thought I'd removed it, and the same thing is happening.
I believe I've tried everything!  Turning things on and off, reloading extentions etc.
I can't find any info on this.  Please Help
I'm running on a MacBook Pro, Lion.

  • Output from Bridge cs4 not available.

Bridge output to pdf and web are gone.
Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Web Premium on Windows 7 64
I cannot output (photoshop) files to pdf and web.
Reinstall with the DVD doesnot help.

I was just concerned that Bridge was not seeing folders like it should .  If it looks like the screen shot of mine I am almost out of ideas.
But before you do that also reset the prreferences in Photoshop just in case.  For this start PS and hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift and you will get a reset window.  It is a little tricky and if you see the splash screen you are too late.
If if worked before and you have made no changes there might be a file that got corrupted somehow.
Just to be safe you might open the keywords pannel and in the dropdown box click on Export.  You can export you keywords list to a safe location just in case.
If you have any special actions and stuff in PS you might save thoese also as Bridge is a part of Photoshop so you will have to reset everything.
Good luck and hope you get it back in order.
