Mini crashed and wont start 4 days after I bought it.

I have the mini 1.83ghz. As soon as I got it, I upgraded it to OSX.5. Ran great for the 4 days I had it. Today I loaded it to transfer files from my Windows laptop. While trying to transfer files, the computer hung up and then crashed. Now the it wont boot up at all. No spinning, beeps, or lights.
Any one have any ideas on it? or is my mini dead?

When you say it won't boot and you get no spinning, beeps or lights, do you mean you don't even get the little power light lit up? If so, then there is no power getting to the logic board, which could be anything from a defective power source, to the power brick, or logic board itself.
I would unplug everything and move it to another location to make sure it's not a wiring issue with the power outlet you've been using, and test it again. If it's dead in the other location, call Apple and arrange to return the system, or pack it up and take it to a local Apple store to be looked at if you have one in your area.

My InDesign crashes and then wont reopen. I have already tried deleting preferances, relaunching, but the only thing that's solved it so far is rebooting which is beyond frustrating.

Pc gets bluescreen and wont start properly after newest update

I started my computer, and a new update popped up, i clicked update and proceeded. When it was all done installing my pc crashed and got a blue screen, and now i cant use it.
Please help.

Mail crashed and wont start up

Hello
I hope some one can help. At work I use Mail for my emails, last night it crashed and when I tried to restart it the application will open but crashes immediatly again meaning I cannot access any emails or pick up incoming ones. What do I need to do to get it working again? I have restarted the machine a couple of times but to no avail. Please help. Thank you

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup

Mini ipad black screen and wont start even after reset

My mini ipad went black. I tried pressing power button and home button simultaneously for more then 10 seconds and didn't work. Tried plug onto a charger for more then 10 minutes also didn't work. Tried both simultaneously also didn't work. Thanks for any assistance. Btw, my check with apple websites said the mini ipad is no longer under warranty.

Iphone 3GS keeps crashing and wont hang up after out & incoming calls after repairs

I have had my iphone 3GS back to vodafone after I could not make calls, kept saying call failed!. I did all the troubleshooting tips, was okay for a short time, then shortly started doing same thing.I took it back to the store and on that occasion the assistant took the phone out of the protective cover i always had it in to replace the simcard in case it was this that was causing the problem ,then he dropped it onto the shops wooden floor and it bounced, he picked it up & went bright red & kept apologising , I then said if I have any more problems with it then I will come back & see him & he said yes. Shortly after I noticed the sim cover on top of phone was missing but i could see the simcard inside, so I returned to the store & informed them of this, i was advised by the earlier assistant 'Craig' that he thought that the sim tray was underneath the simcard which he then removed the simcard, then advised me he didn't want to go poking about in it in case it was inside and he would send the phone to be repaired & gave me a replacement phone until mine was back. I waited approx 2 weeks before receiving a call from Vodafone saying they would repair it if I payed over £100! as it was not covered under my insurance, I informed them the assistant dropped the phone in store and then i noticed the problem & was then told they would investigate this and call back, 10 minutes later they called back to say it would be a free repair. Since the repair I have had nothing but trouble with the phone crashing when I access apps , sticking on the hangup screen with in & out going calls for approx 10 minutes or more, when I turn phone on the Apple logo stays on the screen for long periods off time. When I access my music the track will change part way through to another track & also sometimes refusing to charge. I am fed up with going back & forth to the store which is quite a distance from my home & the phone has more problems since it was ''dropped'' & then ''repaired'' & I am at a loss of what to do. I feel I have been treated unfairly and gone along with all Vodafone asked of me. Please could someone from Apple help me!!!

The steps you already took were the correct ones - reset, restore from backup, restore as new phone. You could always try them again, but a Restore with set up as new is the 'ulitmate' troubleshooter - if that doesn't correct the issue, it's usually time for a replacement phone. Unfortunately, you've learned a hard lesson there, although I don't see how Apple screwed you - it's no secret that the iPhone warranty is valid only in the country of original purchase (as a little research on your part would have shown).
See how much money you saved with your eBay purchase? Next time buy the phone from Apple or an authorized UK carrier.

Indesign CS6 crashes and wont startup again after reboot - iMac

I have a strange issue that has started in the last couple of weeks. If i restart or reboot my iMac my indesign will not open again. It tries to start to open ('loading image' appears and icon bounces in the dock) but always fails and gives an error afterwards each time (i will attach).
What i have done so far is the usual deleting of preferences, replacing default file and rebooting the machine again but nothing works.
The only thing that i can do to get it working again is to reinstall indesign from the disk (design & web premium). All other Creative Suite applications don't need reinstalling and work fine.
Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did they fix it as its bit of a pain having to reinstall indesign after each reboot.

AFP Service Crashed and Wont Start Again

I've got a 10.3.9 Server just running afp. It the AFP service just quit working yesterday while people were using it.
Now I can't get the service to start up Clicking the "Start Service" button in Server Admin does nothing.
serveradmin gives me this:

The only thing in the logs might be:
The server wasn't able to start (Unable to register IPC port)
But thats only happened a few times and not every time I try to start the server.
Crash Reporter shows nothing relevent either.
Ive tried rebooting, disabling and re enabling the network interface, and clicking the "Start Service" button over and over!
Help! I don't know where else to look!

Is there anything in system.log after trying to start AFP? You can view system.log with the Console.app.

Ee harrier mini crashed and wont turn back on

I was just using my phone and it rebooted, or so i thought. Since then it wont come back on, it comes up with powered by Android then ee sign comes on then nothing, just keeps repeating the same thing. Have tried soft reboot but still nothing and doing the same thing. Anyone got any ideas???

Thanks for the suggestion. Battry was about 40% have tried it but still doing it while on charge. Its not registering its charging either as usually a little red light at the top

TS1559 none of your resolutions do work... problem came out after 1 year and 5-6 days after i bought the 4s (kind of strange)... hundreds of similar posts are there all over the internet; it has to be a product defect!!! AND NOW??

i look forward to get a free exchange or at least a free repair service to solve this problem! or maybe it's possible to solve it by releasing some kind of update?? but please do not disappoint all the 4s customers with the same problem as mine, by letting them pay for something which isn't their fault.

WHAT PROBLEM? You still have said absolutely nothing about what is wrong! Nobody here can possible help you solve a technical issue if you won't even say what it is that is wrong in the first place.
I have zero problems with iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and iPad 4, and many millions of other iOS 7 users on all sorts of iOS devices are also not having any problems at all, so nobody here has any way of knowing what your problem is if you will not tell us.
If you have a hardware problem and are out of warranty, then yes, Apple will charge you for an out of warranty replacement.
And no, you cannot downgrade iOS - Apple has never supported doing that.

My ipod is displying apple logo and wont start up, hard reset leaves it the same, disc mode works but iTunes doesnt "see" it even if the computer does.

It worked two days ago fine, for two years, until I installed this newest iTunes update, then for one day it kept on freezing and going to apple logo screen mode, then today it only goes to that screen and wont start up at all.
I've tried the hold down two buttons hard reset, that doesn't help. I've tried disc mode... but iTunes doesn't "see" it even if the computer does.
This is a pristine ipod, never exposed to adverse conditions, never dropped, never wet, and it worked perfectly two days ago.
Can I factory reset it somehow? (considering itunes can't "see" it)

Do the typical reboot "Menu +Center button at the same time" and hold it, DONT LET IT GO like we were told, when the apple pops up.. KEEP HOLDING IT it will make a new ding sound I've never heard before. and since its hooked to you laptop already an error message pops up and says apple will need to download something to repair your iPod. I when u see that that when i let reboot buttons go. hit ok on the laptop something downloads for like 20 seconds then the iTunes icon hops around when you open it it has a screen with an iPod classic on it and says "Software version blah blah, iTunes will check for an update on such n such date" AND FINALLY there's a "Restore" button. click that and you will be back to square one with your iPod. Renaming , adding all the music on it, but it will work again, finally. "
I had to do it twice, because my mac froze the first time, but its recognized it now and is downloading the software as we speak...
Now I've clicked the restore button and it's restoring... I'll post again if its a success, otherwise assume failure.
