Mini flash music player......not working in IE or GC just FF??? WHY WHY WHY!!!

Hi,
this is getting silly!! I have tried all diffrent music players. This one now works in FF but not in GC or IE i mean it comes up and shows.....bottom left hand corner.......but it doesnt play.......its streaming music from another site. why the hell wont it work???

Not sure if this will help at all - but maybe try fixing the doctype on the page:

That would be throwing IE into Quirks mode and could be a cause for it not playing... worth trying anyway

Welcome to the forum!
Try and isolate the problem, check whether if only one song is affected. Should that be the case then remove the song and add it again and the same goes for all the other song. It could simply mean that the file(s) were corrupted during or before the transfer process.
Lets us know is if this works.

Music player not working in 7210 supernova

In Nokia 7210 supernova the music player is not working. It says "not enough memory" I have done all factory restores also but still not working...

Desperately need help getting Flash music player to work correctly!

I'm working up a Flash template for a site that has a music player for 3 different tracks. The template came with 3 separate fla files for each track (Music1.fla, Music2.fla and Music3.fla), which I opened and imported my own mp3's into, set them to repeat only once, and then published the swf's. The music player works fine, but when the first song ends, the music stops unless you click on the next music track in the player. I'd like to have it where after the first song finishes it automatically starts playing the next song, then when it finishes the 3rd and final song it goes back to song one. How can I do this? Is it as easy as inserting some Actionscript into the Music fla's or would it have to be fixed in the player itself on the site's fla?

K, give this a shot.
All you need to do is duplicate the code on the buttons in the sound controller that load the three songs. So on the last frame of music1.fla, enter -
path="music2.swf";
loadMovieNum(path,1);
Do the same for the other music flas using the next song number. You may have to add _root. before the loadMovieNum command, so it would be:
_root.loadMovieNum(path,1);
This will only work if the mp3s are imbedded in the music flas. You will have to add a zillion frames to the timeline to see where the audio file ends, create a keyframe there and enter code on the keyframe.

Music player not working properly!!!

Yea I'm becoming really frustrated with the new ios7.
I listen to alot of music, after upgrading to the new ios, the music player sometimes locks up or doesnt play songs at all. If I move the scrubber bar to the middle of the song, then it resets itself back to the begginning at 0:00, the music still does not play. Only after a while of messing with the play/pause button it will play.
It seems that if there isn't a good internet connection, then the music does not play, which makes no sense because this is music that I've paid for and downloaded on to the phone. I've been a die-hard Apple fan for many years but, If you're going to tell me that I need to be connected to the internet to listen to paid music that should be on the phone, then I may just go to another device.This is getting really annoying.
Sometimes the cloud icon will show up next to the album name/song - which means it's on the cloud? But not on my phone where it should be? And if I press the cloud button to download the music then it still does not play?
This happens about 75% of the time.
While the new ios has cool features, it has lost its reliability and is full of problems.
Get your crap together Apple or I'm going to another device.

This sounds like the same problems I am having on two different ios devices. I'd like Apple to acknowledge this, at least so that there's some reason to hope for a solution. This is not what I paid for.

Music Player not working in my new Nokia X6

I got a new nokia X6 5-days ago from some few 2-3 days back it started automatically restarting on its own while i am doing soemthing in the cellphone i had not done anything wrong with the settings just installed 1-2 themes and 1-2 apps from ovi.
Can anyone tell me why it is happening ?
The second issue emerged today yesterday night i download many album from ovi on my X6 and today when i i try to start music player it doesn't open the screen gets black nothing happens for a long time, the phone doesn't hangs coz i can get into open apps by press and hold of menu key and come to home screen and do other things
pls tell me how to solve this problem
i srsly regret my decision to buy x6 over many other its not a good cell and really not worth the price it is saled

Just try turning phone off and remove battery for 5 minutes, re-boot and go into music player and select Options refresh. I recently set up a new X6 for a friend and it's been trouble free for 6 weeks and I put 15 apps and 20 Albums on it for him plus a few vidz no problems, but just dragged and dropped them from computer to E. Also hard reset and updated the software on the phone before doing anything at all to it. If a simple restart doesn't solve your problem, I would suggest a reset, but if it's only 5 days old, take it back to the shop where you bought it, and get them to sort it !!

Music player not working in 7210C

I am using 7210c phone from a year..
Last week while i tried to open music player in the mobile it showed that "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY".. But, phone memory is almost free(nearly 16MB)...
I updated with NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER. But, no use..
I restored all the factory settings.. But, problem not get solved..
Please help me in getting back the music player..

5800 music library not working..

my 5800's music library is not working anymore and it cant play mp3 and other sound files.. but when i remove the memory card..it can play the sounds..also my picture editor is not working..
in my memory card..i found many folders namely _PAlbTN..is it a virus??
do I need to reformat my memory card?
and what do i haveto copy on my pc when i format it?
just the mp3 videos and pictures? or do I have to copy also the folders like private, sys, etc?

That is a thumbnail file.
You can format the card if you want, but that would also bring problems on the apps if you do not uninstall them first as your phone will read then as not uninstalled properly and you wont be able to download them again from Ovi Store. So when you format it, just copy your own files (music, pictures, etc) and leave everything else alone.
How exactly does your music player not work anymore. Has it stopped showing songs? Cant it refresh?

Flash player not working in Safari 3.1.1

I just installed the Safari 3.1.1 (5525.18) update and I no longer have a working Flash player.
I tried reinstalling the latest Adobe Flash player (9 UB), to no avail. I even tried rebooting (out of habit from my Windows days) with unsurprisingly little luck.
Flash used to work in Safari before 3.1.1. It still works in Firefox 2.0.0.14.
Any ideas? Is this a permissions issue?

Do you have Case-sensitive Journaled Mac OS Extended filesystem? I do.
Because my friend's MB has Case-insensitive Journaled Mac OS Extended filesystem and Flash is working fine with 3.1.1 on 10.5.2. Also Adobe Creative suite CS2 programs work fine in her MB, but don't even start up on my MBP.
Just a thought.
Possibly. Did you repair permissions? If not, do so as any Flash install requires this step.
I have now. First I ran repair permissions with Disk utility, got some promising repair stuff like
18.4.2008 14.52.55 Disk Utility[282] User differs on "Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flash Player.plugin/Contents/Resources/Flash Player.rsrc", should be 0, user is 501.
Repair finished fine and Flash still didn't work. So I did un unistall with the Adobe Flash uninstall tool, a reboot (again, out of habit), a reinstall and a further repair permissions, again with a couple of User differs messages.
Yet, Flash still does not work.
Any further ideas? Or tips on how I could try debugging this? Console gives me squat.

Flash Player not working after updating to 10.2 - Plz help - my research project is on hold now

I updated my flash to latest version.. Everything gone.. Flash is completly not working now. I cannout see any youtube videos or any flash websites.
I tried all the way possible to troubleshoot it. But failed. Still not working.
My OS - Windows 7 - 32bit
IE - 9 (latested) 32bit
Flash Vesrion - 10.2 (Latest)

I have even removed teh compatible flag - such that to remove kill-bit, Still dint work.
I see that eventhough i install in my IE manage addons i dont find any flash player or shock player to enable or to disable. .its completly not there.. Its very strange.
I am using kasperky Pure. I could not figure out is there any option in kaspersky pure to disable ads block/popup.?

I am using Windows 7 - 32 bit. and the IE - 32bit.
I have tried all the uninstalling and installing procedure. But it did not work for me.
In my first post I had told that i was not getting any Addon in my IE. then i figured out when i click show all add-ons, then i see a shock player addon in my IE of the lastest verion 10.2. So please negelct that fact . I have an addon too in my IE 9

Even when i open the youtube. the video portions are blank. n when i right click on it shows the above same 2 options.
Kill-bit - when i checked it, i had a Compatible flag - but its values where all zeros. Still i deleted it. (So i do not think that was an issue)

I have even checked everthing is fine in my Internet options- Security tab

Furthere - Uninstall programme shows as follows : (Kindly have a look)
Further - My knowledge - I do not have any adblock or adblock plus. I only suspect if Kaspersky Pure, if it has an option to block it. (I am not aware of it).
Further - In my Chrome Plugin i see like this : I have a doubt here- Why i have 2 shockwave flash versions?
I even tried disabling them one at each time alternatively and tried if youtube works - still same problem.
I am suspecting might be quick time could have generated this problem. i had recently updated the quicktime. But when i checked in the help forum I got to know that quick time can cause problem, so i completly uninstalled it now. I do not have quick time in my system - but still the probelm was same.

Why does flash player not work with facebook?

Why does flash player not work with fcebook? Whenever I wish to view a video, I get the message that i need to upgrade my flash player. Then no matter how often I download and install flash player I still get the message that I need to upgrade my flash player. When I go check which version I have, I always get the message that I have the most current one. I run Mozilla Firefox with Windows. I don't know anything else.

This means you don't have the latest version installed. Update to 11.9.900.117, and Firefox will allow it: Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
