Hi Experts,
Not sure, in which category I need to post this question. I've searched in Google also but didnt get the right information. Is there any websites avilable which can provide some small projects based on Oracle Database (just for practice purpose).

Please clarify what you are referring to as OEM and Rapid Sql.
If by OEM you mean Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control, a database management console, then you would need one of the "full" editions not XE. I believe you may install and use even Enterprise Edition with a for-free license, as long as it is for pure learning purposes/self-education. See what it says about the OTN license in the top of the [url http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/indexes/downloads/index.html]downloads index page.
For SQL development tools in general, XE should do fine as long as you build apps within its feature set.

About the dac 1, but may apply to the dac 2 as well in some ways...
Here are more details:
1) The current version of iTunes (7.5) for OSX is very broken. Some older versions work properly, but 7.5 introduces truncation and DSP artifacts that can measure as high as –80dBFS. These levels are easily audible. There is no system configuration that will permit transparent playback from 44.1kHz sources with iTunes 7.5. Curiously, the only format that works properly in 7.5 is 24-bit/96kHz. This iTunes problem has nothing to do with USB communications, as the results are the same when using the built-in optical port on our PowerBooks. As a workaround, we suggest using the free VLC for Mac player. VLC works perfectly with all formats (provided OSX is set to match the sample rate of the files being played). We highly recommend the VLC player for OSX users, and strongly advise against using iTunes. We will attempt to identify which versions of iTunes work and which ones don't. But beware, iTunes updates itself without user intervention. One of our test computers "upgraded" itself to the dysfunctional iTunes 7.5.
2) OSX still does not have the ability to follow sample-rate changes. We consider this a nuisance for most users and a show-stopper for users who want to play a mixed list of 44.1kHz and 96kHz material. An OSX sample-rate mismatch will invoke the very-poor-quality sample-rate conversion that is built into OSX. The iTunes 7.5 bug seems to be locking on this sample-rate conversion at all sample rates other than 96kHz. Until this is fixed, OSX is not the operating system of choice for audio playback.

I was wondering, now that I discovered the advantages of Resource Manger, if it would be possible to have 2 shared resources, one local with common topics and pictures for several projects, and another one, remote, containing the whole projects, i.e. topics and pictures, for collaboration purposes.
The local one I intend to use it for my purposes to have common items (topics & pictures) updated in all projects where they appear, and the remote one I intend to use it together with my remote colleagues that might want to do changes in the topics.
This would mean that the common topics and pictures would be present in both resources, the local one as well as the remote one.

I was merely wondering if it would be possible w/o having to use other products outside RoboHelp.
We are already using svn for a lot of other purposes and we are using that for the RoboHelp projects as well, however I was wondering if it would not be possible to have RoboHelp take care of the RoboHelp projects, and with svn to take care of the other things in the company.
Eventually, if it would be possible, I would think to sync all the local projects with the remote projects, then sync the local project with the local shared resources, and at the end sync the rest of the projects with the local shared resources.

Ideas for developing new Mini project

we want to develop our programming skill by doing some mini project in Java technology.
A group of 3 members want to involve in this project with IDE as JDeveloper. So anyone can suggest a mini project with some 10 days duration. We are strong in Swing-EJB. We also intersted to work in JSP,Java script. Also ready to learn new technology..

I have done my Oracle DBA course and keep trying for job as a dba..but it takes long time to get..
So my friends suggested me to do a mini-project in the mean time .
Is there any kind of mini project i can do as a fresher being at home.

You can start your project by thinking of requirements.
Firstly u gather requirements like create some db.
Secondly create some objects like Tables, Views, Synonyms, Tablespace, Index
and pump up some data into tables. Get some procedures, packages, fucntions.
Then u try to tune some queries, reports.
Try to apply all dba activities on that database.
I hope u'll get enough expertise by doing it!
Try to do real-time dba activities!!
