Minimize CRM details by default
Hi guys, is there anyway of having the "Extended CRM Database Fields" minimized by default when I view CRM --> Customer --> Details?
I have created an Extended CRM which is connected to the Contacts. Problem is with these database they have a lot of fields which we do not need it to be expanded by default. Is there a way of having it minimized by default for all customers? Thanks
Extending to Liam's comment, there is no way to do it currently, but if it bothered you and you really needed to get it minimized, you could write a chrome extension and obviously use the chrome browser to do minimize it.

AET for CRM 7 not defaulting in the Package...[RESOLVED]
We introduced a new config/development client several weeks back and now all development/config takes place in client 010 rather than client 100. However, today is the first time that I have needed to use the AET tool to create a new field. When doing this I get to select the object that is affacted (ACCOUNT), but notice that the Package is NOT automatically populated, and, as the field is grayed out does not allow me to populate one. However, I obviously can't continue any further without a Package having been defined.
As a test, within client 010 I created a new package, thinking that maybe it was because our default package was originally created in client 100, but this did not work and still the no package was defaulted in. Plus, we have developed components and views in clilent 010 without any trouble.
Has anyone seen this particular issue before and know of a solution. I have had a quick look for an OSS note, but to no avail.
Jason
It would seem that we needed to allow the package to be extended.

MASTER DETAIL - SET DEFAULT VALUES FOR ITEMS
I have a master detail page where on the master I do things like updating the entered_by and entered_date fields
by applying functions to set the item level details and the setting them to read only.
On the detail portion of the page I'd like to do the same but I don't see the details items on the page - only the master items.
The details portion is for comments so I'd like to have the commenter_name and commenter_date set to defined values
when I hit the add row button on the details portion.
Where are the detail items?
I'm using APEX 3.2
Thanks
SteveHi,
When you use master detail form, APEX generate 'Detail portion' as report. So if you edit the page, you may not see actual items for 'detail portion'.
If you want to set any default values or want to format these items, you may need to do as follows
1> Edit 'report' of 'detail portion'
2> Click on report attributes
3> Click on column, you want to set default values
4> Now here, Under 'Tabular Form Element' section you can do this by setting proper values to 'default type' and 'default' fields.
Hope it helps
Cheers

Insert custom JavaScript on Oracle CRM detail page
As part of some customizations to modify the details pages, we need to insert some custom JavaScipt on Oracle CRM pages. What we understand is that this is possible using a Custom Web Applet and adding the applet to the sections layout. But with this the Custom Web Applet section bar show up in the details page.
Is there some way in which this custom JavaScript can be added to the pages without any additional sections showing up?hi
thanx
if it s possible to use javascript to select products according to category and populating that particular products in lookup field is it possible thr web service or web applet
becoz in my case i want 2 use product based assignment for users

Expand all areas in item details as default
We open the item details and have to make changes in nearly every area (basic data, cost assignment, ship-to-address, source of supply). So we have to open each area one by one and every time the screen is refreshing. So we spend a long time for waiting! Is there a possibility to open all areas as default, a parameter or something like this?
Regards
HubertHi,
There is no straight solution for it. but try this implementaion in BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI
Enable the necessary frames/subscreens Basic data.... SOS (whichever applicable) in BADI.
Make sure it is enabled.
or
Change the BHML page with necessary ok codes.
SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 120
Scroll down to the service page to check the OK codes.
Just worth a try.
Good luck on this challenging requirement

Af:table, show inline details by default
Hello,
This is probably something very simple:
I have an <af:table> with an inline detail.
By default the details are collapsed (hidden).
Is there a way that I can have them expanded by default?
Regards,
TimHi Tim.
You may want to look at this post:
Re: af:Table detailStamp facet - can it be "shown" by default
Hope this helps.

Hi all
What is
CRM General Framework
CRM middleware
CRM People centric
CRM Mobile Applications
CRM Web Applications
are they in the same box or else do we need to have seperate boxes are else are they like
SD, MM, PP in ERP .
how are they connected
sorry to ask a simple question
Regards
SreedharHi Sreedhar,
CRM is a altogether diffrent product by SAP to maintain the customer relationship. It covers the complete cycle of the customer relationship i.e starting from the marketing, sales, service, analytics. In order to connect the CRM system with other systems we use CRM middleware which is integrated with the CRM itself. So no need of having seperate box for CRM MW.CRM PCUI is also one interface to access CRM and for this also you do not need seperate box. Mobile applications are installed in the laptops and they can be connected to the CRM servers to synchronize the data between laptops and CRM. For web application like internet sales we need a seperate box (we also call it as Netweaver box) which talks to the CRM. Hope this much details will clear your doubt.

SAP CRM Search Help - defaulting values in search help screen
Hi All,
I am working on search help object in service order(Amount allocation ) BTAMNTALL component view name vIEW:BTAMNTALL/HdrBillplanDet and field name STRUCT.AC_ASSIGNMENT. in that block if we select account assignment type as ERP cost center it will give standard search help in Select account assignment field.
Its basically calling the standard search help CRMT_AC_ASSIGN_KOSTL_E. After pressing F4 it will display the popup Controlling area cost center and description. Basically I need to default the Controlling area in F4 help based on some logic.I am not sure where to write code for this one.
Please find the attachment where I need to default the value. any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Sapsar.At least can you read the document I provided carefully? the point 2.3.1.2 give you the answer.
Anyway if the document doesn't specify "defining a default value" but give you some ideas/hints, you only need to use a little your imagination. Like:
1- Use a custom search help with a constant (static)
2- Use a custom search help with a search exit to determine the data that you need from the sales org of course you need to add the orgunit as an input parameter for the search help and supress the input parameter which will be determined in the search help exit (dynamic)
3- Create a value node for the context (hidden) and put the info you need once you select the sales org in the hidden attribute/s, this hidden attributes should be mapped in the get_v method (dynamic, not sure if this will work, I never tried, but will be nice if you try and give us some feedback) -
HT204135 How can one make the printer dialog box to have Show Details as default?
I very often use different presets from document to document. Thanks.
Once you select the Show Details for any application, the next time you use that application and select to print, the full details pane should be shown.
If this is not happening and the applications always show the Hidden Details print dialog then you may need to perform some sort of reset.
Also, if you were to use the Presets option and set commonly used settings as a Preset, then even if the print dialog is not showing the extra details, you can still select the desired Preset from this print dialog. -
HTML Dataset - No detail by default
Hello from Mauritius !
I have a page with html data set, with a master region, and a detail region of course.
When that page is opened, the first detail region is shown on the screen.
Actually, I would like to have no detail shown until a master is clicked.
Any idea ?
ThanksA fast way would be adding height:300px; overflow:scroll; to your css..
MasterDetail .MasterContainer {
background-color:#FFFFFF;
border:1px solid gray;
color:#000000;
display:inline;
float:left;
font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size:x-small;
font-weight:bold;
height:300px;
overflow:scroll;
text-align:left;
width:35%;
But anyways if you want to use accordions with Spry Data. take a look at the samples: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/accordion/AccordionSample2.html -
Proper method to fire off some code to create a default set of detail data.
Greetings, fellow nerds. First, I'd like to thank the folks that have helped me out in the past. I don't always return back to the topic to give kudos, and sometimes I even figure out my problem before anyone says anything. And I try to find reference to my problem by doing a search on it beforehand. Which often works.
Anyways...
I've got a mater/detail form that I set up using the wizard. Every time a new master record is created, I'm gonna want to set up 62 generic rows of detail records to be associated with it. The detail section defaults to an 'add row' button, which may actually be used, and even the delete function. But, I don't want the user to have to enter 62 rows.
I've created a table of the generic rows, and have written the sql to populate the details table, using the bind variable that is the id of the master table/row.
If the user is looking at the master table 'report', and clicks create, it fires off the add process for the master table. No details. Filling in the various master fields, and clicking create, a master record is created, and the page stays there with no re-direct back to the 'report'. And the options are now 'apply changes', and 'cancel'. Cancel takes you back to the 'report', with no details created. At the same time, the details become available for this new master record. But again, with the option to add a single detail row.
At what point should I fire off the code that will generate the 62 rows of template detail records? Do I just add a button beside the 'add row' button, that will fire off the code, and return them to what they are looking at, with the 62 rows staring back at them to edit? Do I hook it to the 'create' button on the master portion of the page? If so, I'd want it to fire after all of the validations for the master data, and the master record was in fact inserted.
I'd like to do this the 'correct' way.
Thanks in advance,
ClaytonI can't say anything about a correct way of doing this. Your descriptions doesn't
point to any critical issues if doing it this or another way. What I can say is that
this looks like a perfect case for utilizing collections.

Hi,
I have few questions and can you please clarify them as soon as possible.
1>How & where can i set to display my default page in CRM IC WC when user logon? Is it in SICF tcode?
2>Is there any config to be done in CRM (any setting in SICF or SSO2) to get MYSAPSSO2 cookie when i call my BSP application from EP?
i read the blog /people/siddhartha.jain/blog/2005/10/25/reading-netweaver-portal146s-logon-ticket-147mysapsso2148-cookie-in-bsp-applications but it was too specific to NetWeaver.
3>What is view name that displays the navigation bar left side in the IC WC.?
I would appreciate your help and ofcourse awards as well.
thanks,
MacSDear Macs,
For your issues:
1. the default page in CRM IC is default.htm which interns call default2.htm then profile_determ.htm
if you want to display your own page in IC WC, you will have to create a new controller & view and then place the view name StdWorkareaOccupation.xml of repository CRM_IC_RT_REP
2. if SSO implemented, then you can just have to add url of your BSP in EP.

The Default Gateway Is Not Available / Problem
Hello, I recently purchased this HP Pavileon laptop, and I've been encountering this problem very often (every 2-10 minutes). This problem is getting extremely frustrating as absolutely nobody has been able to provide a fix for this issue.
When the laptop is on battery mode (this does not happen when plugged in); I commonly get disconnected from my wi-fi connection and to fix it, I must run the troubleshooter. This temporarily fixes the issue by resetting the wi-fi adapter.
What I have tried and has not worked:
* Turn off to save power option in the driver settings (in Device Manager) untickets
* Updated drivers
* New power plan
* Tried different drivers
* Complete system restore
The wireless adapter is Realtek RTL 8188EE. Upon running the troubleshooter, this is all the information from the detailed information section:
