Minimum PO qty
The requirment is like in the po a minimum qty should be ordered to a vendor.
So how to maintain the minimum order qty for a vendor and material combination?
If it is less than that some error message should be there.
Regards
Hi,
Maintain the minimum quantity in inforecord purchasing data1 view.

Minimum order qty for Stock transport orders
Hello
I wonder if there is any way to make the following fields from the Sales org 1 view in the material master to apply on Stock transport orders (ME21N, with subsequent delivery created in VL10B):
Minimum order qty
Minimum delivery qty
Delivery unit
As of now in our system, it only works for Sales orders and related deliveries. But not for Stock transport orders with a supplying plant.
Also, if there is any other way to implement minimum order qty funcitonality and delivery for Stock transport orders, pls advice.
Thanks,
OTHello
We are in an intracompany business case. The supplying and recieving plant are in the same company.
The situation is as follows: we are planning all replenishment manually without any involvement of MRP.
What we would like to achieve is the same functionality as of the minimum order/delivery quantities material master fields in the material master.
So when the planner creates the stock transfer order, he keys in supplying plant, material and quantity manually, then the warning message about the minimum order qty should appear.
So far I have not found any way to do this. Any ideas are greatfully received.

Sales Order Blocking based on Minimum & Maximum Qty, Wt & Value.
Hi Experts,
I need to put a minimum and maximum (value, quantity and weight) set up in Sales Order based on the Customer.
Based on the condition record I should be able to put the minimum and maximum quantity, order value and weight in condition record.
If anybody try to enter less than the minimum and more than maximum system should automatically block the sales order.
Is it possible ? If possible how can I create condition record for this.
ChristineFor minimum order quantity you can maintain in the material master itself. So whenever you enter the quantity less than the minimum order qty it throws the error and will save the order.
Regarding the maxmum order quantity you have to write the userexit to control the max. quanity by specifying the max. qty in user exit.

Minimum Order Qty on Info Record for MRP
Hello All -
I have maintained an info record for a material with a minimum order qty. When MRP runs and generates the planned order/purchase requisition, it is not taking into account the min order qty on the PIR. Is there some additional set up that I need to do? I have a source list set up with a 1 under MRP relevant. Thanks!
JaneI also tested and SAP didn't consider minimum order quantity that is maintained in info record (EINE-MINBM), but w/o success... minimum lot size (MARC-BSTMI) maintained in material master is considered.
I assume Charlie is right and minimum order quantity is valid in case of purchase orders:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/EN/67/c50d38c5a5c82ee10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
You can use this function to round off order quantities in POs and contract release orders.
If you enter a minimum order quantity in the purchasing info record, the PO quantity will be rounded up to the desired minimum quantity after evaluation of the rounding profile where appropriate.
(based on this I think order optimizing is valid for POs)
So, whether you use the mentioned minimum lot size and rounding profile fields in material master (suggested by Charlie) or you can maintain rounding profile in the purchasing info record and thus you can have vendor specific minimum lot size.

Csaba

MRP Minimum order qty not recognized
Hello together!
We found out (note 862814 ) that mrp does not manage minimum order quantities right (see below).
Version: SAP BUSINESS ONE 2007 A PL 6
Description of requirements:
Dear Madams and Sirs,
MRP Wizard yields unexpected result.
For an item having Minimum Stock 4 and having only two item in stock MRP suggests only two items for
purchase though Minimum order Qty. is 3.
From my point of view this result is wrong.
Please help us !
Wrong purchase amount of 2 items is proposed
Proposal of 3 items as Min oOrder Qty. is 3
Partner / Kundenkontakt: bob Systemlösungen
Abwicklung auf Englisch möglich? (Antwort 'Ja' vereinfacht die Bearbeitung Ihrer Meldung) Ja
Name: Daniel Rosen
Valid as of: ASAP
Business needs:
As there are hundreds of items to be ordered at the vendors, it is almost impossible to control the Minimum order Qty. Ordering non adequate quantities results in bad prices! This should be a basic function in MRP.
Examples:
For an item having Minimum Stock 4 and having only two items in stock MRP suggests only two items for
purchase though Minimum order Qty. is 3.
Current Workaround:
Laborious control of every Purchase order from MRP suggestion.
Proposed solution:
MRP should recognize Minimum order Qty. Best it could be set individually if Minimum order Qty is recognized or not.Hi
did you define default warehouse for items?
If it is true: did you select the default warehouse for the MRP process? Did you select another warehouse?
If you select another warehouse (not default) the behavior is correct.
Kind regards.

MRP order multiple and minimum order qty
Hello
I am running MRP for one item with minimum stock level 20, in house qty 1, order multiple 12 and minimum order qty 20
the MRP return the figure 19 to order, when it should be 24 taking into account order multiple and minimum order qty...
Could you explain me why
we run SBO B1 2007 SP00 PL49Hi,
This is the definition of your questions:
Order Multiple u2013 you can set a multiplication factor for ordering the item e.g. in
case you define 5 in this field and14 items are required, the MRP will recommend to
order 15 items (3X5=15). If 18 items are required, the recommendation will be to
order 20 items (4X5).
Minimum Order Qty u2013 you can type a minimum quantity for ordering items by the MRP.
The planning data is apply when there is a requirement (sales order, forecast, production orders (for the child item) and reserve invoice.

Standard Packing Qty vs Minimum order Qty
Dear All
In Inforecord when I am maintaining Standard Qty and Minimum Order Qty
system is objecting me by giving an error
That Minimum order qty must be less than Standard Packing Quantity can we avoid the error message
kindly help me in maitaining the Inforecord.
Regards
ChaitanyaHi,
This is standard system behaviour, see below extract from documentation:
Standard Purchase Order Quantity
Quantity of the material that is normally ordered from this vendor.
Use
The standard purchase order quantity serves as a basis
for computing the effective prices in vendor evaluation.
for determining the price if a price/quantity scale applies
Example: standard quantity 100 pcs.
Scale prices: 1-100 pcs. $10.00/ 101-200 pcs. $8.00
Price determined on basis of standard quantity: $10.00
Dependencies
The standard quantity may not be less than the minimum order quantity.
I fail to understand why would you have any problems with the fact that the minimum order quantity must be less than the standard quantity.
Maybe it is because you interpret Standard order quantity as standard package quantity!

Hi
While creating purchase order for a particular material, system should take minimum order quantity.
For example, i create po 10ea minimum order quantity 25.then system should automatically should pick 25.
1)pls tell me where to define minimum order quantity?
2)is it work this scenario?
pls help me..........
thanksHi Bhaskar,
In materail master in the MRP1 Tab under Lot Size Data you have two options
Minimum Lot size and maximum lot size These two options would help you in determining the lot size when Placing a PO
setting the values in here will create a PO for minimum lot size Qty even if you give lessthan the qty specified in that field
In the same Material master Under Purchasing tab you have a check box Automatic PO flag this option as well
It Defines that purchase orders are generated automatically when purchase requsisitions are converted into purchase orders.
At the same time in the master record for the vendor with whom the material is ordered, the field "Automatic purchase order" must be flagged in the control data for the purchasing data.
Now PO's are generated automatically with the specified minimum order value
How ever this scenarion would be possible only if we are running MRP and finding material requirement and generating PR & PO automatically
I doubt it would work if you are creating PO manually
Hope this clarifies your doubt
Any further clarification required do put a message
If found useful reward accordingly
Thanks & regards

PO- Contract release Qty not matching with minimum delivery qty
Hi expert,
I have a requirement , there is a business process where my client need to replenish the fuel tank every two days . The tank capacity is 100,000 gallon and supplier supply the fuel of tank 11500 gallon every time.
To map this process, we have set annual contact for 1000,000 gallon, We have set our reorder pint as 50,000 gallon and lot size as HB . We have also maintained alternate unit of measure as 1TRUCK= 11500 gallon.
When the stocks falls below 50,000 system create PR and auto PO generate for short qty.
But we need the short qty should multiple of deliver qty I,e 11500 x3 = 34,500 not 40,000 gallon which calculate by system
Am I missing something?
Thanks
DilipNo I have not maintained rounding profile. The qty i,e 40000 requirement calculation based on ( Max stock i,e Tank capacity 90000 -- 50000 as Consumption qty)= Balance 40,000 qty PR generate through MRP
My requirement , System should generate PR for 11500 X3= 34500 Qty instead of 40,000 Gal
Could it be possible
Thanks

MRP - Minimum Order Qty, Order Interval not Recognized
Hello,
When I try to run the MRP report, I notice that the system is NOT taking into consideration the Minimum Order Quantity & Order Intervals that are defined on the Planning Data Tab in the Item Master Data. Do you know why the system might be ignoring these definitions?
We are running SAP B1 9.0 PL 09
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you,
LaurenHi,
Please check this SAP note for detailed explanation:

Minimum Order qty in sales order
I know that I can setup in the master data the min and max qty on Sales Org 1 view which then triggers a message if the qty is outside the band.
This is then for all orders for that material, but I need it to restrict per customer (different min/max per customer).
Any suggestion other than user exit and check against a table that would hold this per customer?Go to VD52, input the customer code and material for which you want this control and execute. Again block the material code and click on blue lens on top.
You can now see two fields
- Underdel. Tolerance
- Overdeliv. Tolerance
Maintain the required tolerance so that it will be applicable only for that customer.
thanks

Condition type based on minimum order qty
hi all,
can anyone help me solved this problem.
i have maintain min order qty in material master (MVKE-AUMNG) . let say 10PCS ($5/PCS). then i create Sales Order (Tcode VA01) with qty = 5, the system propose warning (we can still continue create order).
i want to have condition type (let say ZZPR) that have value = Price * min qty --> $5 * 10 PCS.
i think we need routine in calculation base value. can anyone know the code for this routine?
thx
Best Regard,
Hendryhi raj,
put routine in condition based value.
data : zaumng type mvke-aumng.
select single aumng into zaumng
from mvke
where matnr = komp-matnr and
vkorg = komk-vkorg and
vtweg = komk-vtweg.
move zaumng to xkwert.
hopefully it helps..
Best Regard,

Minimum and Multiple Order Qty attributes by product
What are the options for managing Sales Order Multiples. Would like to have the option of setting required or optional quantities. For example, Product A is shipped on a pallet with 12 units. Would like orders to be managed as 12, 24, 36 etc. In other words, the 12 would also become an order minimum. In some cases this should be mandatory. Is this an item master field? If not, how is it normally managed? As an added bonus, the ability to flag these multiples as mandatory for only certain customers or sales channels would be better still. Any ideas?
Thanks,

FiX lot size & minimum sale order qty .
hi all
We maintained minimum order quantity for material ; can we put massage sale oraganization wise
ie for SO IN01 Massage type is 'E"
& for IN02 massage type is 'W"
If my minimum order qty. is 10 then SAP will accept the sale order qty. with multiple of 10 .
Eg. If customer placed order qty. 15 Nos. Dose SAP convert it into 20 automatically ?
PL. suggest me how to configure this scnerioHello,
Min sales order qty is controlled through MMR Sales Org 1 - if you want it to round up or down to the correct order quantity then you will need to create a rounding profile (see below).
Otherwise to change your message from a info or warning to an error goto transaction OVAH message V4 082 and change to E = error.
Rounding Profile
Key that the system uses to adjust the order proposal quantity to deliverable units.
Procedure
In Customizing, enter a threshold value from which the system should round up to the next value per deliverable unit:
If the requirements value exceeds the first threshold value, the system always rounds up to the next multiple of the level found
If the requirements value falls below the first threshold value, the system copies the original requirements value.
Two other types of rounding exist:
Dynamic rounding profile:
These profiles are used to round up quantities to logistical units of measure (for example, layers). The contents of a logistical unit of measure does not have to be know when creating the rounding profile. It is determined by the master data from the material master.
Rounding profile with quantity to be added/subtracted
With these profiles, the given quantity is changed either by adding a percentage or subtracting a percentage.
Only static rounding profiles are taken into account in requirements planning. Neither dynamic rounding profiles not quantity addition/ subtraction are taken into account.
Examples
A material's base unit of measure is 1 unit; the purchase order is to be delivered in layers (1 layer corresponds to 5 units) or in pallets (1 pallet corresponds to 8 layers which contains 40 units).
You maintain the profile as follows:
From a requirements of 2 units, the system is to round up to 5; from a requirement of 32 units, the system is to round up to 40.
This results in the following order proposal quantities:
Requirement from 1 -> 1 requirement from 31 -> 30
Requirement from 2 -> 5 requirement from 32 -> 40
Requirement from 6 -> 10 requirement from 74 -> 80
Requirement from 7 -> 10
Dependencies
If no rounding profile has been entered, the system uses the rounding value entered in the material master record for the planning run
Kind regards

we want to configure minimum and maximum allowed order qty in STO for our internal stock transfers.
plz suggest the config steps to be follow for deploying this activity. My requirement is for intercompany stock transfers scenario.
assume that there are plants 101 and 102, when ever STO through ME21N is occuring system should cross check with minimum order qty for given materials failure of which system should give error message, same way from supplying plant system should check minimum delivery qty for receiving plant failure of which system should give error message and should not allow for outbound delivery.
suggest the process need to configure.
