MIR7 preliminary posting - Entry date continuity after posting

Hi All,
Is anybody has experice regarding the following issue?
in MIR7 preliminary incoming invoice is created. E.g. Entry date (CPUDT) 20/02/2009. When the we post preliminary invoice, system updates CPUDT with the actual date, by this we lose continuity of incoming invoice numbering.
Thanx in advance.

  • Entry date of parked document once it is posted

    Hi,
I posted one FI invoice today, which was parked on entry date 13.07.2007.
before posting that document the entry date in BKPF i.e CPUDT was 13.07.2007, but once it got posted today CPUDT changed to 28.08.2007. CPUDT was overwritten, now if i want to track all the documents which were parked on 13.07.2007 i am not able to find this one.
Can you pls tell me if there is any table where this info is maintained.
    Thanks,
    Sonali

    Hi Sonali,
Probably your question has been answered by now, but what the heck.I was looking for an answer to this question too, caused I wanted to calculate to complete processing time for an invoice, from creation to booking. Im using the files BSEG-ZFBDT with KOART = K. This field is the baseline date used for calculating the date on which the invoice has to be paid. I think you can use this field.
Using CDHDR could be possible too, but would take a lot of performance.
    Kind regards,
    Erik

  • Wanted brief idea about posting date, document date, entry date

    Hi guyz!
basically am an tech consultant. But wanted to have brief idea about the following business process. scenario is like this:
in inventory management, we are doing some inter facility transfer. i.e., for a particular plant, we are having multiple storage locations. so due tosome reasons, we are transfering stock from one storage location to another storage location. so in this context can anybody say what are the followings:
    1. posting date
    2. document date
    3. entry date
    waiting for proper response.
    manas

    Hi Manas,
The Document Date is the date in which the business transaction for the Documente(e.g., a transfer of posting) took place. The document date is the date on which the original document was issued.
The document date can, for example, refer to the creation date of the delivery note issued by the vendor or the internal goods receipt slip.
The Posting Date determines the posting period and defines in which fiscal period a document will post (regardless of the Document or Entry date). It is the date which is used when entering the document in Financial Accounting or Controlling. The periods that are permitted for posting are determined by Accounting Services. This is the date that G/L Account Balances are updated.
The fiscal year and the period for which an update of the accounts specified in the document or cost elements is made, are derived from the posting date. The Posting Date will override the Fiscal Period entered on a document if they are different.
When entering documents, the system checks whether the posting date entered is allowed by means of the posting period permitted.
The posting date can differ from both the entry date (day of entry into the system) and the document date (day of creation of the original document).
The Entry Date is the date the transaction was actually "permanently entered" into R/3.
Note: It is possible that an invoice was issued with a Document Date of 6/15/98, entered into R/3 on 7/15/98 (Entry Date) with a Posting Date of 6/30/98 (to post the Document in the previous fiscal year). Many times, all three of these dates are the same.
    Thanks,
    Susmitha.

  • FB01 Preliminary posting by RFC

    Hi experts,
I'm facing a problem with FB01 preliminary posting.
    The situation is:
I have a system we will call A with BC component which can call RFC BAPI on SAP system that will called B.
On SAP system B, we can use FM PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01. But this FM is not an RFC function. So can't be used by system A.
have you any idea on how to resolve this problem?
    Thank you in advance
    Regards

    Thanks Chandra,
i've tried to develop an RFC function and call the FM PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 internally.
The question i have is : Which parameters will i have as input and output for this Z RFC function?
The other question is : PRELIMINARY_POSTING_FB01 don't have return codes? How can i check execution status?
    Thank you

  • Acquiring data continuously with a start and stop trigger

I am currently acquiring data continuously (1000 samples at 5k/s) using a start trigger to start the acquisition and stopping the acquisition with a digital line. The problem with this is that I want the acquisition to stop immediately on a trigger, in otherwords I don't want it to finish with 500 or 200 samples of useless data. I am using a PCI 6024 E. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The trick will be to minimize the number of post-trigger scans that will occur after your stop trigger. The stop (reference) trigger requires a minimum of 2 post-triggered scans. Therefore, the way to stop your acquisition as soon as possible is to configure your stop trigger to have only 2 post-triggered scans.
I've included a little bit of code to illustrate this in LabVIEW 7.0. The number of post-trigger scans will equal the buffer size less the number of pre-trigger scans. Since the minimum number of post-triggered scans is 2, we'd have to set the number of pre-trigger scans to the buffer size less 2. This is wired as the minimum number of pre-trigger scans acquired input to the AI Control.vi in the example.
    This should do what you're
after. Best of luck to you as you get this all put together.

  • Entry Date

    HI All
I want to display Entry Date while displaying line items. How can i do that.
    Thanks
    Gautam Anand

    Hi
In the line item report you can change the layout. Select the change layout tab or Presse Cntl+F8 to change the layout.
In the change layout you can select the Entry date/Posting date field. So that you can see the same. If you want the same layout to be defaulted save the layout as user defined layout after selecting the entry date.

  • Search by entry date?

    Hello all,
Is it possible to search all of the entries in a certain account by entry date? I need to find a specific entry that changed the monthly numbers although it was entered more than a few weeks after the books were closed.
    Your help is appreciated, thanks!

    Hi CeemoJenkins,
    Try with t-code S_ALR_87012332 - G/L Account Statements
There is Icon "Dynamic Selections". This icon you can easily identify which is generally located either after "Execute" icon or "Get Variant" icon. These icons are available on top left of the S_ALR_87012332 screen. Click/Select Icon "Dynamic Selections", you will find fields "Entry date" and "posting Date".
Enter the date range for june in Entry date field
Enter the posting date range for May in Posting date field.
You will able to find the entries made in June for May.
You can also find the entry date date and posting date fields in t-code FB03.
You can also get these details from table e.g BKPF. Field names - BKPF-BUDAT, BKPF-CPUDT, BLPF-CPUTM.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Acquire data continuously (buffered semiperiod) with the 6602 board

    Hello,
I post this qestion again because I think in my previous thread it will be wraped. :-)
I use an PCI6602 card and 3 or 5 counters on it in buffered-semiperiod measurement.
The planned measurement can last one day or longer so there will be a lot of values.
What is the best way to process the values? Maybe calculate something and
write these results to a file.
I've read something about double buffered acquisition. Also something about
    a circular buffer.
In the document "Lab VIEW Data Acquisition Basic Manual" the circular buffer is described.
But I can't find any examples for double buffered acquisition and circular buffers.
    Has someone an example?
    Will I need such a t
echnique? Or is there an other possible solution to handle the
    amount of data continuously?
And when will be the best point of time to do the analyses of the data.
    Inside the while-loop or outside?
Is it a problem to do this with the 3 counters simultaneously?
I would be thankful for any tipps.
I attached an file (library), where you can see the configuration (Measure Buffered SemiPeriod.vi).
    thanks in advance

    Peter,
If your measurement will last for a day, you will need to log the data to file. Otherwise, it is very likely that you program will be unable to store that quantity of data. A double-buffered acquisition and a circular-buffered acquisition are the same operation. They refer to a continuous acquisition where a finite buffer is used in a circular fashion (new data is continually written over the current data as the buffer is filled). Of course, this requires the user to read data from the buffer before it is overwritten. In the program you attached to this post, you are already performing a double-buffered acquisition because you have the Buffer Mode controls set to "Continuous". With regards to analyzing this data, it would be best to do this
after the acquisition is complete. Furthermore, you should be able to do this with three counters without any problems. Of course, if you need to perform more than three buffered measurements simultaneously, the additional counters will need to use interrupts.
    Good luck with you application.

  • "Installation will continue after reboot"... then nothing... help?

I have a 1st generation intel imac, 20 inch, and have tried three times to upgrade from 10.5.8 to 10.6 (SL). I have unplugged all accessories, and every time i go to upgrade, at about 1/5th of the way, i get a message saying that the installation will continue after the computer has restarted. It restarts... and then nothing. I have not seen this posted before, so if it has been, I apologize. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm curious about what (if anything) the installer log file says about setting the DVD as the startup disk. Would you mind launching Console, going into the /private/var/log section & clicking on install.log if it is there? Look for a line in the log near the beginning of the lines that start with the date & time of the install attempt that contains the text "Setting Startup Disk" (without quotes). Anything after that that indicates an error? Is there a line (or two) with the text "Bless on Mac OS X Install DVD succeeded" a few lines below that?
Note that you can use the search box in Console to look for these text strings.

  • SD Billing to FI Accounting: How to make Baseline Date equal to Entry Date?

    Hello,
I have configured Baseline Date to be equal to Entry Date in the Payments Terms in OBB8. I have assigned this payment term to the Customer as well as the Sales Order.
But still, when I release a Billing Document to accounting through VFX3, the Baseline Date in the Accounting Document is taken as the Document Date/Posting Date.
What does the configuration in Payment Terms do?
How can I get the Baseline Date to equal the Entry Date?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
