MIR7 u2013 Difference between Save Parked Document & Save as Completed.

Hi,
We are testing the T Code MIR7. When we click on Simulate, on the Simulation window, there are two buttons, Save Park Document & Save as competed. When we click Save Park Document, the system is displaying the following message:
The Tax Code is not valid.
The tax code entered is not defined in the country for this company.
Please note that we have maintained the Tax Code.
But when we click on the Save as competed, the system is giving us no error message and we are able to save (park) the document which is visible in Purchase Order History as Parked
And using T Code MIR4, we are posting the Document.
Is this the correct way?
And what is the difference between these two: Save Park Document & Save as competed.
Please guide.

When you save to the folder with the little house icon, the file is placed at
/Users/your_user_name/
You would really have to go out of my way to save at:
(the shortcut for the Boot Drive, regardless of its name).
I am not sure how you decided that Time Machine is not saving your files. The default is for Time Machine to do incremental Backups of everything on all attached drives, except for certain temporary information in Cache files. If you have four Users, Time Machine will back them all up.
Looking at the raw Time Machine backups will tell you very little, because it does lots of its work with Hard Links, and because it does incremental backups, so only files that changed since the last Backup are saved at thet cycle. The way to determine whether Time Machine is saving things is to display the window you care about in the Finder, then invoke the "Star wars"/ "Back, back, back in time" Interface.

Hi Shan,
Basically u use these Update types in LIS extraction. V1 stands for Synchronous update and V2 Stands for Asynchronous update.
Usually U use V1 for the time critical Updates and V2 for non-time crtical updates.
Usually u will go for Statistical update at the time of full update or Initialize with delta.

save view: create and store view of one dataprovider containing navigaional status, chosen variables etc. in database.
Used Method: CL_RSZ_WWW_DB_INTERFACE->SET_VIEW
Tables:RSZWVIEW, rszwobj.
bookmark: create and store view of all Dataproviders of a webtemplate.
Used Method:CL_RSR_WWW_VIEW->SAVE,
(uses CL_RSZ_WWW_PAGE->SET_VIEW)
Tables:RSZWVIEW, rszwobj, RSZWBOOKMARK
bookmark with displayed data: create and store view of all Dataproviders of a webtemplate including the actual shown data.
Used Method:CL_RSR_WWW_VIEW->SAVE,

personalize webpage:
Save start-view of a webtemplate. Let's say in a webtemplate you have 3 dataproviders, two of them shown as a chart, one is a table.
When you start the webtemplate you want all three to be a chart. Then you would switch the table to a chart and and personalize the webpage. Next time you start it, you'll see 3 charts.

Anyone Know difference between pure Text Document and Plain Text Document?

I am having a **** of a time trying to figure out how to create a "text document" on the Mac. From what I've read, it's not possible to create a pure "text document" with Mac .... only possibly windows.
I have a text document (created in Textedit in Mac),that can only be saved as either a "plain text document" or a "rich text format (.RTF) formatted file.
I need to save (or re-create), the text file in a file that will save as a
"text document".
In either the <command+I> option, or in a folder window line description, I need to see the text file saved as the wording or a "rich text format (.RTF) .... and not "plain text document" or a "rich text format (.RTF).
Evidently, the difference between the text files that Apple TextEdit creates, and those that are a pure "text document", have something to do with the hidden carriage return command language at the end of the command lines ... or something like that.
The text file is being used as a command text file for a modified VTC Training "set-up folder/GUI" that will run on either Mac or Windows.
I have seen on-line, some mention that using windows "notepad" (texteditor) may be the only way to create a true "text document" labeled file.
Any suggestions, or knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated.

The way to preserve an existing "text document" is to import it into OS 9.2 and
open it up in Apple Simpletext (text edit program).
Changes can be made to the original "text document" (not an original .rtf or .txt file, which aren't true "text documents" by title description). When changes are made to the original "text document", they are saved in Simpletext as a "text document" (not .rtf or .txt - these are OSX file descriptions).
The file can be read back by OSX Textedit, or by PC, with no problems. However, if the slightest changes are attempted in OSX on that "text document" (once back from your OS 9.2 changes ... OSX will only be able to save it again as a .rtf or .txt (plain text file) ... not a pure "text document" as made or corrected in OS 9.2.
I'm glad I still have Apple OSX "Classic" available for these kind of rare changes needed.
I have spent a few weeks now, trying to figure how to create/modify an existing pure "text document" using a Mac ... without relying on going to any PC text edit programs ... and this method of running it through the old Simpletext program in OS 9 finally worked out to be the answer this evening!

HOLDING & PARKING DOCUMENTS
Some times it requires to keep pending the documents (or) send the document for approval of higher authorities. For this purpose SAP provides Holding and Parking of a document. Though object is same, there are certain differences and similarities between these two.
1. Holding document holds with temporary no & parking document parked with original no.
2. Both can be deleted or posted.
3. Both documents dont update transaction figures.
4. Parking documents doesnt update transaction figures but it can be consider for the Account evaluation purpose & also tax purpose.

Is there any difference between how SharePoint responds to clicking on a document hyperlink (in a document library) directly and clicking on the "Download a Copy" menu - to download a document from SharePoint? How does both work internally? Will
it make any difference to the analytics (for example, document viewed, etc).?

Difference between Invoice cancellation document and credit note document

Hello,
Can anybody highlight the differences between an invoice cancellation document and a credit note document (may be point by point).
I want to know their difference in SAP point of view.

Invoice Cancellation Document (VF11)
This is basically cancelling-out an existing Invoice, completely.
Whereas, Credit Note is basically setling down some part payment, which isn't being made or billed in excess to actual invoice amount.
Example:
Customer was supposed to be billed with Rs. 100 and got billed with Rs. 110. the payment recieved from customer is Rs. 100. to settle-down oustanding of Rs. 10, one need to create a credit note of Rs. 10 on customer-account.

I am new to Sharepoint and trying to decide if I should use "documents" folders or "library" folders. As far as I can tell, there is no difference. Am I missing something?

Difference between two xml documents

I have two xml documents docA and docB that loos like this,

</root>I want to compare them and get a new xml document that consists of every <a> thats only in docB (I know that the only two cases is that a given <a> is either in both or only in docB) is there any library that can help me with this? I've looked at xmlunit but I could only get it to either just return true/false or give a complete list of differences.

You have not really specified precisely what you want to compare on. XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 have a function deep-equal that might be able to do what you want so an XQuery like

</root>could give you the result you want, depending on whether the [specification of deep-equal|http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath-functions/#func-deep-equal] matches your expectation.
As the SUN Java JRE has no XQuery support you need a third party library such as [Saxon 9|http://saxon.sourceforge.net/] .

I want to know the basic differences between the accounting document created after PGI and accounting document generated after billing?

To generate Accounting Document after PGI, following settings need to be done:
T. Code: OMS2
For your Plant and Material-Type, "Value Update" must be checked.
Also, a relevant accounting document is assigned the material document or not.
In Sales Order, we have condition tpe VPRS, which captures the standard value from material master after costing run.
When we do pgi we need to do inventory accounting & stock reduction should take place.As a result, the following posting takes place:
1. T. Code: MMBE - Stock get reduced from the plant/storage loc.
2. T. Code: MD04: Out bound del. note and the qty. set off in stock requirement list
Also check, [A/C Doc. for PGI|Account Determination for PGI document]
Whereas, After Invoice, the Accounting Document generates, as an effect:
Customer A/C gets Debited and Sales A/C gets Credited.

Availability Check for Parked Documents in Funds Management

Hi All,
We have a case where budget check is to be enabled for parked document " Save as complete".
We have configured the for value type corresponding to parked document and parked documents are now generating budget consumption line in the availability control ledger.
We are having issues in cases where parked document exceeds budget. The system currently is throwing warning message and is not allowing to park.
We want to convert the message control to error.
Note : MM Module is not used

Converting the message to an error will also mean that the document cannot be parked. Is this what you want? Isn't this the same as what is happening already?

Small differences between while canceling invoice.

Hello,
While checking the accounting documents I have notices that there are small differences between the GR document invoice document. The differences has occurred on GR\IR account and stock account during canceling the invoice and is 0.01 EUR.
The GR\IR was credited with 0.01 less and the stock account was credited with 0.01 EUR more according to the invoice which was cancel. see below.
Could you help to und erstand the procedure?
If it is a standard behavior? If not. How can it be resolved?
