MIRO for Planned delivery cost

Hello,
Its Raw material  PO with Freight  & unloading Charges codition.Excise duty applicable only for Raw material .
service tax applicable for Freight & unloading charges vendor.
while booking MIRO for  Raw material ,excise accounts should be hit  & for  Planned delivery cost  service accounts shoud  hit.
but While Posting Planned delivery cost tax code for which sevice tax code has been used, excise offset account is getting Posted together with service tax accounts.
How to Post MIRO for Planned delivery cost with only service tax accounts.
Regards,
Jyoti

Hi Deva,
Is the problem about the rounding of the value?
If so I sugest you modify the rounding scheme of the conditions to 'round up' in the condition master. In this case 0,004 would become 0,01. It's important to know that currency is always posted with two decimal numbers, but you can always do this: 1000units cost 4$ (for example).
For what I know you cannot post a value in invoices for less than 0,01$.
Give more feedback.

very strage issue, kindly suggest me on the same
    archana

ACtually when I am doing MIRO price is taking as USD * exchange rate = as local currency, instead of the price entered in INR for particular condition type like local freight in PO,
because of which value is increased by .19 paise..
like in PO local freight  entered charge is 5000000 rs in first column but the same is displayed 111160.52 usd in second column... but exchange rate is 44.98..
IN MIRO it should take 5000000 for me but it is taking 111160.52 * 44.98 = 5000000.19 rs.. kindly let me know the solution for this

Here, Issue is that only 2 Vendors should be there BUT there shows many vendors to choose..
many vendor means how match all vendor list?
have you activate vendor partner  function at your end ? if yes check following things
check vendor master record and check Invoicing party of that vendor ,also check invoice party of main vendor
you may get invoicing party of both vendor there

  • Issue with reversal of MIRO for Planned Delivery Cost

    Hi Xperts
We have found out an issue while reversing the MIRO document for Planned Del costs. When we have done the MIRO, the accounting entry got correctly posted with correct account keys.Conditions are not inventoried.
However, when we had reversed it - the stock account got hit.Do not understand, why that happened.Do you have any clue?
    1. Suppose we have done the MIRO for Del Cost & then performed GR.Now Stock has already consumed & afterwards we have found that the MIRO for Del Cost is wrong & reverse - in this scenario shall the Stock account will get a hit????
    2. I have maintained Price Control "V" in Material Master. However, I have maintained a Standard Price by mistake. In that case shall SAP ignores the MAP & takes Standard Price into account & post PRD??

    Hi,
Before checking Planned Delivery costs accounting documents in MIRO posting and MIRO cancellation document, 1st check how Planned Delivery costs designed for your procurement process.
Use t.code:ME23N, check your Purchase order
    Option-1:
Is Planned Delivery costs added to inventory account and at the same time Planned Delivery costs posted to Separate Planned Delivery costs G/L account.
    OR
    Option-2:
Is Planned Delivery costs posted to Planned Delivery costs G/L account ONLY
    OR
    Option-3:
Is Planned Delivery costs added to inventory account ONLY.
Based the above one setting, system  will post goods receipt and invoice posting document with corresponding accounting entries. Also cancellation of invoice posting document refer to these setting. But account posting depends on price control available in material master.
    NOTE:
Standard price procedure (price control “S”):The system carries out all stock postings at a price defined in the material master. Variances in price are posted to price difference accounts.
Moving average price (price control “V”): The system valuates goods receipts with the purchase order price and goods issues with the current moving average price.Differences in price between the purchase order price and the invoice are posted directly to the relevant stock account if there is sufficient stock coverage.

  • Default Currency of a Vendor in MIRO for Planned Delivery Cost

    Hi,
This is a scenario of Invoice Verification for Custom/CVD of Customs Department in Import Purchasing.
We create PO with currency USD, EUR, etc. but always pay Custom Department in INR. While doing Invoice Verification we need to change manually the currency from document currency to INR initially otherwise systems picks the currency from the PO header (USD, EUR, etc.).
Is there any method by which while doing MIRO for a particular Vendor (Customs Department) the system should pick the currency from the Vendor Master of Custom Department (INR), which is assigned against condition types in PO, not from the PO header.
Can anyone assist in getting the desired result?
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
you have to give it manually or you have to write code with help of user exist or a fix through SHDO t-code  transaction where you have to created  variant for transaction MIRO.
    there is no other option

  • How to know miro is planned delivery cost

    hi,
any where to check eg table or report, can tell the miro posted document is for planned delivery cost.
i think most of us notice that if display miro posted document, the indicator not there. only during edit or create, indicator is there.
indicator means the goods/service item, planned delivery cost or both.
now i need to check miro posted for planned delivery cost. if ask me to check PO in miro line item, i think that would be very difficult to track.
    please help.
    thanks

    Hi Dear,
You need to maintain the Account Key for the condition type in the Pricing Procedure.
and then for the same key maintain the GL account in the OBYC settings.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Error doing ERS for planned delivery costs

    Hello!
We post the freight for STOs via the FRB1 condition as our delivery costs. The freight vendor is of course, different from the vendor in the STO itself which is the plant. The freight vendor is marked for ERS settlement and the ERS works fine for it from the shipment cost documents of sales orders. However, while doing the ERS in transaction MRRL for the same freight vendor for planned delivery costs, nothing comes up in the list to settle. The delivery has been goods issued and freight accounted for. What could be going wrong here? What do I need to check?
    Thanks!

OK, I got this issue resolved...don't know what was wrong and I didn't change anything but it is working now Freaky. But I do have one more related issue - hopefully someone can shed some light on it. For the freight vendor, we have a different PI partner in the vendor master set up by the plants - when I do the ERS, it is not creating the A/P against that different Invoicing Party (PI) - it is creating the A/P for the same freight vendor code...any clue what is needed to make it create the A/P for the different Invoicing Party that we have set up?
    Thanks!

  • Exchange Rate for planned delivery cost

    Hi
In one PO ( Document type NB with item category std) exchange rate for planned delivery charges ( Condition type FRC1) is calculated considering base date as document date of PO.( Exchange Rate is not fixed) while doing Goods Receipt
In other  PO ( Document type NB with item category L -subcontracting ) exchange rate for planned delivery charges ( Condition type FRB1) is calculated considering base date as posting  date of GR.( Exchange Rate is not fixed)
    Can anyone tell why ?

    Dear Murugan
I wish to  putforth the below check for you to solve the issue.
You told that Intially while creating the PO, your supply vendor and freight vendors are different, please check did you enter the vendor code in the freight item condition details. If yes then you have two invoicing parties for the PO.
Now you also told that, you have carried out MIGO for the PO line item which which has Freight also as an additional condition type.  That means for the PO line item your GR have been completed or partly done. If you have done this then how did you change the freight vendor in PO after GR for the item , system does not allow that as you have already carried out the the GRN.
To avoid all such cases of freight vendor change, the best solution is to change the vendor before GRN itself and assign the right vendor in the item condition of the PO,then proceed forthe GRN.
For your case please cancell the GRN also since you have already cancelled the Invoice.
Assign the right Freignt vendor , then proceed for MIGO. Once done In MIRO go for invoice and select goods/service items from the selection menu and process it for the supply vendor.
Then again you can go for MIRO and select planned delivery cost from the drop down and process it.
The above can be done combined also and in any sequence also , there are no holds upon that.

  • Invoice Verification for Planned Delivery Cost (Freight Vendor)

    Dear all
I have created the PO with vendor A for material M and the freight vendor is B. And now I would like to know invoice posting for vendor A for mateiral M and Vendor B for freight.
    During PO creation:
    1. I enter the Vendor A for PO.
    2. I maintain Freight Condition at the Header Condition. And enter the freight Vendor B for that Condition.
    During GR:
    1. GR with reference to this PO
    During Invoice:
    1. MIRO reference to this PO
        (a) To do Invoice for Vendor A, select Goods and Service and post
        (b) Subsequently, MIRO reference PO again, and do invoice for Freight Vendor B, select Planned
             Delivery Cost
    Questions:
    (a) What is the G/L account posting during GR and Invoice? I am particularly interested in the Invoice G/L account posting for both different vendor, assuming I am using the standard sap Account Determination Setting
    (b) Instead of following the above approach to do invoice twice for different vendor A & B, can I first Invoice reference PO for Vendor A, and then subsequently use Subsequent Debit reference PO?
    Points will be awarded handsomely.
    thanks

    Hello
    Purchase order: 100 pcs @ 1.3/pc
    Planned delivery costs: 0.10/pc
Goods receipt for that PO: 100 pc
    A/C postings @ GR
    Stock account: 140 Dr
    GR/IR clearing: 130 Cr
    Freight clearing: 10 Cr
    Invoice 100 pc @ 1.3/pc=130.00
          freight @ 0.10/pc= 10.00
              Total  =140.00
    A/C posting @ IR
Vendor a/c's: 140 Cr (130 for Goods vendor and 10 for freight vendor)
    GR/IR clearing: 130 Dr
    Freight clearing: 10 Dr
Since both are different vendors you have to credit the goods value to vendor A and freight charges to vendor B, you have to do them separately.

  • MM - Pricing Conditions - Mass Change for Planned delivery costs

    Dear gurus,
Is there way to mass change the value of pricing conditions of Planned Delivery costs in the PO? Also the supplier?
    Any suggestion?
    Many Thanks for helping,
    Maria

    Hi,
As far as I know, this can be done for condition type/vendor price maintained in info. record.
    Transaction code: MEKP
Enter the condition type, enter the '+' sign if value is to be raised.
If you tick the 'Test Run' you can also simulate the condition (old v/s New).
    Hope this helps!!

  • Separate Purchase order for Planned Delivery cost

We have a scenario where we buy material from supplier A and delivery freight services provided by Supplier B. We raise a purchase order for suppler A for the material we buy, PO number 450000001
We add a freight cost condition type in the same PO 450000001 for the freight cost. In the details screen of the Condition type freight in the purchase order header condition tab, we specify Supplier B for freight cost condition type. This is standard SAP feature for freight provide by third party.
PO 450000001 is printed and send to Supplier A. And now the question is we need a PO for Freight suppleir B, how usually this scenario is handle.??

    Hi Eric
I have faced similar problem long back and we do not have solution to that yet. It is a  different thing to create new developement to bring in the particulars in to customised smart form linking the details of freight vendor only from the PO with the help of ABAPer but that did not enthuse my client.
As has been mentioned by Kl , freightt has to be added to the material to get the actual delivered cost which is more important from the perspective of valuation.
If we create a service Po for tansport just for the sake of sending a PO to transport then we have to delete the PO after sending it , this will be creating future audit issue as vendor willbe referring that whicle system will be showing that as deleted.
Any more inputs/contributions in this matter would be very helpful for the community who are interested.

  • GR wise Planned Delivery cost in MIRO

I receive my materials (ordered in a single PO) in several deliveries
(MIGO). The PO has a delivery condition in it. GR based IV is checked
    in PO.
When I try to do invoice verification, total unsettled quantity is
    proposed in one line.
I want separate lines for each Goods receipt for planned delivery cost
    in MIRO.
    For example :
    1. Create a PO(GR based IV checked) for 100 KG/ PO has a delivery cost
    viz. 10 INR per KG
    2. Receive goods in 3 deliveries ( 10 kg, 20 kg and 30 kg).
    3. Go for MIRO for planned delivery cost. here system is proposing 600
INR for 60kg in one line item.
We need 3 line line items - each corresponding to one GR.
(While this happens for MIRO for goods, for planned delivery cost it is
    not happening).

How ever in MIRO, it will consider the total GR quantity and will propose accrodingly..
else u can make invoice with 3 different delivery notes, so that u will get 3 different invoices..

  • Planned delivery cost difference

    dear experts,
during doing MIRO for planned delivery cost. In case the real value for the delivery cost is different than the one in the PO, what is the standard way to handle this?????

    Hi HS...
I think your case is when you dont know the actual del costs during PO or MIGO so the differences are due to the actual costs incurred at the time of MIRO entry.
You can maintain a unit price for the PL del cost condition types and do the MIGO. At the time of MIRO you can enter actual planned del costs (if the costs aren't adding up to the material cost then you have clean posting, if they are adding, then it will distribute the costs on the available stocks, and if they differ from the PO qty then postings are done accordingly, if the qty is zero then it will go to PRD)

  • Planned delivery cost for the scheduling agreement

    Hi Experts
    1. I have an requirement to post Invoice ver. for the Planned delivery cost (freight, customs duty,CVD etc) against the Scheduling Agreement just like Import Purchases with checking off the GR Based IV Indicator before doing the GR
I tried it but its giving me that no delivery costs are Planned in the Scheduling agreements it runs fine in case of the PO because PO is a time independent.  Please inform how to post the same for schedule agreement with time dependent indicator on. I tried switching off the time dependent indicator and the system allowed, but my requirement is to Post I.V for the delivery cost with the time dependent indicator on.
Appreciate if you can suggest something in this case Urgently .
    2. Aother issue is we have some uploaded Scheduling agreement from legacy system with Time dependent conditions. For this we need to post planned delivery cost in Miro. Since the system is not allowing to post, how to about for this. Shall we enter the delivery cost in unplanned delivery cost in Miro and post.  Please suggest if any alternate solution is available.
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi,
As you know if the delivery cost document is not posted during GR the
delivery cost is not proposed during invoice (MIRO). Planned delivery
cost will be proposed in invoice only when there are records in EKBZ
table. The EKBZ table will be updated when delivery cost is posted
    during GR itself.
Please ensure in the PO itself thatr the conditions have been defined
properly with the relevant amounts and values.
During GR when planned delivery cost conditions are present in PO,
system checks for values in amount field. Then only appropriate
calculations will be done for delivery cost and planned delivery cost
document will posted during GR and hence updates EKBZ table.
Solution to this issue is described in below steps,
    1) reverse the invoice document
    2) reverse GR document.
    3) You have to give values in amount field in relevant conditions ZGDS
       in the PO.
If you face any issues changing the values, delete above conditions
and put it again manually and give values in amount field also.
    4) Post GR once again, delivery cost document will also be posted.
You can check it in PO history.
    5) During invoice select Item + planned delivery cost and post the
invoice. If you need planned delivery cost to be posted separately,
then you can post individual invoice for item and delivery cost.
Please note it is not possible to post delivery costs for documents with
    multiple accountassignments.
For your second question, I am afraid I can not answer. Please open a new ntry in the forum, so that someone else can answer it.
    Best Regards,
    Arminda Jack
