MIRO post with different KDM account based on AP recon. account
Hi Gurus,
I have one question on MIRO exchange rate difference posting.
As user request, different AP Recon. account need post with different exchange rate difference account.
In more detail: AP Recon. account has two kinds: Trading partner, none TP.
For TP, post ex. rate different to one Inter company exchage rate diff. account,
for none TP, post to the other exchange rate diff. account.
But as I found, the exchange rate diff. accout is defined in OBYC, transaction KDM. It cannot config seperate by TP.
Any one has encounter similar request?

Unfortunately the MIRO exchange diff setup is not defined in FBKA exchange rate difference.
It is defined in Materials Management postings (MM).
So any more idea?

Dear All,

1.Reason code wise standard report
2.customer/vendor payment difference want to post separate gl with Reason code wise

How to simulate the scenario without using dispute Management/Credit Management.
Guide me is there any way to simulate the above issues with reason code.

A. We can get the Reason code wise Report Customer line item Report FBL5N @ select screen and out put screen with change layout.
2.customer/vendor payment difference want to post separate gl with Reason code wise
A.Configuration OBBE we can configure, with the tick "C", and OBXL we can assign GL a/c and rules activate Reason code.
3.Partial /Residual payment with different gl with reason code.
A. while posting F-28 , or F-53 difference amount post in the field we have to field Reason code and Differences amount and simulate,
Note:If we select Reason code xxx with "C" in this scenario system will through error, we have to use other reason code except "C".
Each reason code we can configure according to our requirements.
4.Invoice is posted customer refuses to Pay.

MIRO - Posting with trans.type 159 not possible (No acquisition posted)
Hi all,
I have a case where an asset PO was created with multiple account assignment in one line item. For example, purchase 10 pc of printer with 10 asset numbers specified in the account assignment tab. By standard SAP, the GR is non-valuated.
The GR of the PO was done in the previous period. Now, when the invoice is to be posted thru MIRO. The system generate error message to me. The error message is "Posting with trans.type 159 not possible (No acquisition posted)" and message number is AA324.
The reason of this error is due to no acquisition date in the asset master. GR is non-valuated hence, the acquisition date is not populated in the asset as well. I believe this is quite a common problem. Kindly advise any workaround solution.

Acquisition tax in Belgium/Germany-Posting with different tax codes
Dear Friends,
Does anyone have experience working with Acquisition tax in Belgium and German where the goods and services purchased within EU have 21% -input and output tax such that it is ZERO. But still Tax authorities need to see both input and output tax amount with different tax code such as under:
Expense a/c Dr 100
Payable a/c Cr 100
Input VAT a/c Dr 21 - Tax code A1
Output VAT a/c Cr 21 - Tax code B1
Any help as to how to post the above entry and how to customize tax code to get the above result and any changes if required in country code tax calculation procedure will be greatly appreciated.

When you define your tax codes, the system defaults certain tax types that have been defined in the system for specific countries. Input tax, output tax, and non-deductible input tax are examples of tax types used in Germany.
The system determines which tax types are to be displayed by means of the country key. A calculation procedure is specified for each country key, and this procedure contains the country-specific specifications for calculating and posting the different tax types.
When you define the calculation procedure, you must answer the following questions concerning each tax type:
What is the base amount for calculating the tax? This can be the expense or revenue amount or, as with sales equalization tax in Belgium, a tax amount.
Which calculation type is used to determine the base amount: percentage included or percentage separate? With very few exceptions (such as for travel expense accounting in Germany), the base amount is normally determined percentage included.
The tax amount is 15%.
Percentage included
Tax amount = invoice gross amount * (tax rate/100 + tax rate)
150 = 1150 * ( 15 / 100 + 15)
Percentage separate
Tax amount = invoice net gross * tax rate/100
150 = 1000 * 15 / 100
To which side of the account must the tax amount be posted? The input and output tax is always posted in accordance with the G/L account and asset line items. For the tax to be posted additionally, the side of the account is determined depending on the input or output tax. For the acquisition and investment tax, for example, you post to the opposite side of the account.
Should a possible tax expense be divided between the G/L account and asset line items or posted separately? If, for example, you have a non-deductible input tax amount, you can choose whether to post to a separate expense account or apportion the tax expense between the G/L account and asset line items.
The type of tax calculation and posting depends on the answers to these questions and the combination of those answers.

Invoice posting with different currency for the same PO
Hi,
Can we post the the Invoice with different currencies for the same PO.
For example.
PO has Qty 100 pcs. amount 100 USD
GR Qty 100 pcs.
Is it possible to post Invoice of 50 pc with 50 USD, and 50pcs with some other currency.
Any sugggestions pls.

As per my knowledge, that is not possible.
And in whjat scenario, we need to do that?
In MIRO header itself we have the vendor currency, so it is not posbile to maintain different currency in different line items in MIRO.
If you want, you can do MIRO in different currency that what is in PO.
In the example given, you have o post 2 invoices, one for 50 qty in USD and the other 50 in different currency in other invoice transaction by giving the currency in basic data-invoice header and then only press ENTER after giving the PO number.

Back posting with different price control
Hi All-
One user is trying to do MIGO with posting date 31-Mar-2010 but the price control was changed to standard from moving average effective from today. So there is an error "Back posting allowed only with same price control"....cannot process further..

Change the GL Account Type to Non-Recon Account
Hi, the users are trying to post the entries into the GL Account and the system is giving an error that the Account XXX cannot be directly posted to as the Account has been set as Recon Account for type D.
Could you please advise as to how can we change the type of the GL Account.

My friend, the account XXX as mentioned by you is a reconciliation account which is used for real-time integration of accounts payable/accounts receivable subledger with General Ledger. You cannot post to a reconciliation account and it is always updated automatically when a transaction is happening in a vendor or customer area. You understood ?
I mean to say, when you post a vendor invoice, the vendor is credited and you debit an expense account. However, the vendor balance gets updated in the GL account through the reconciliation account only.
Dr. purchase expenses 100
Cr. Vendor ABC 100
So this 100 for Vendor Credit is automatically reconciled in the GL area through this reconciliation account. It is for that purpose only and you cannot use it for any manual posting.
If I am clear to you, go ahead and create vendor/customer masters and select the reconciliation account in each master and post transactions.

GL Account Report for a Recon Account
I am trying to find a report for a asset recon account that will give balances by profit center and by cost center (with descriptions). We are usibg business areas so need to break it up by business area and period.
Is there any standard report available for this purpose or what other options are available to get this type of information out of SAP?

MIRO posting with reference to Purchase Order

I've created a Purchase Order with reference to a purchase requisition. Now I want to post MIRO with reference to this Purchase Order Number to give payment to Vendor mentioned in Purchase order. But when I going to post miro amount not coming which I mentioned in Purchase Order!!
How can I post MIRO with reference to Purchase Order Number? Is it possible?

RiponAs above it sounds like a GR gasn't been posted but you can still process invoice. Just manually enter the quantity and value as per invoice.
Note the invoice will block for payment pending the GR.
See transaction MRBR if you want to release the invoice for payment immediately.

Invoice difference while posting with different currencies

The PO has quantity 4.The net price is 28,976.45 SEK.i have done the GR.Now,i am changing the currency EUR in conditions tab of PO.The exchange rate is 0.85176.The amount will be 2964.
while doing MIRO with currency EUR,the amount in the header should be 11856 EUR.But,it is showing in the line detail amount as 10549.34 .
Why this differnece is occuring??

Can you tell me how you calculated the value in EUR (to be 2964)..
Check the GR value in local currency and if you enter EUR as currency in MIRO screen then GR value will be converted to EUR value with the exchange rate maintained on posting date.

Automatic AP/ AR posting with different amount in Non-Leading Ledger

We have leading ledger for local GAAP and Non leading for IFRS. Is there any configuration/ mechanism to post a AP/ AR document with relevant amount in the Non-Leading Ledger based on the a/cing standards described by relevant standard.
I am aware of autoamtion in posting the documents of depreciation, foreign currency valuation, accrual/ deferrals. I want to know settings for automating the entry in non-leading ledger based on the standard.

If you want to post additional amounts ,adjustments, modifcations to non leading ledgers you can use FB01L and give your non leading ledger while posting. System post documents only in Non leading ledger.
