Mirror Image on an Officejet 4620

Where is the "horizontal flip" or "mirror image" application on my officejet 4620 all-in-one? I saw that someone else asked the same question and was directed to a link that said to click on the "features tab." There is no "features tab" under my print menu. Please help...

Hi,
Please use the following method:
   http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=bpa00531
And please note: "After creating a design, use software application or printer software to flip the design horizontally. This will allow the printer to print a mirror image of the original design."
Is it an image file or something else ? For image files, you can flip just a flip before print using the following application:
You can download FREE from the following link:

  • Print mirror image on HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series

I have the HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series and am wondering if it is capable of printing a mirror image? I am trying to do an iron transfer to tanktops and need the image flipped.
I called the HP Support number, the printer is out of warranty and of course they said they could help me for $25 - when asked what they would do for that they wouldn't say.
I'm sure it can print a mirror image, this baby can do anything, so I really don't want to pay the money and then have them show me the button I'm supposed to push.
I've checked in printer properties and everywhere and can't seem to figure it out. Please help!

    Hi,
    Please use the following instruction:
       http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=bpu02032&lc=en&product=61561
Other option: using other tool(s) to flip the image BEFORE print. If images/photos, you can flip before hand:

  • Printing Mirror Image on HP Officejet 6600 All In One

Trying to print an Avery (Microsoft)  T-Shirt Template. I am running 64bit  Windows 8.1. I have tried everything to access Mirror Image on my  Printer but I cannot find Mirror Image anywhere. After I click on PROPERTIES I am only shown"Lay Out' & "Paper Quality".  When I click on "ADVANCE SETTINGS" in "LAYOUT" there is  "PRINTER FEATURES"  This only shows "Print in Grayscale";  "Resolution"; Output Quality": HP Realife Technologies"; Borderless Printing" &  " Print all Text as Black.. I have been trying for the last 7 hours to try and figure this out. Hopefully someone can come up with a solution. My warranty  ran out 2 months ago so HP Support wasn't very supportive.

    Hi,
    Pleae try the following instructions:
        http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&docname=bpu02032
    Other option using Word:
       http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/windows-and-office/quick-tip-flip-text-for-a-mirror-image-in-word/#...
My suggestion: flip image before print. You can use a photo editor to flip images.

  • How do I print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

How do I  print as a "reverse or mirror image" on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 model # N911a

I have spent hours figuring out how to print a t-shirt transfer since my new HP printer doesn't seem to allow for mirror image printing (yet my old HP printer easily let me select this feature).   Here's what worked for me, using Word 2010:
Create the text and insert any images  into the document as you normally would.
Go to Insert / WordArt and chose a style of lettering (I don’t think it matters what you choose since you will be cutting and pasting the data from 1 above).   A text box will appear and a new "double-decker" tab will appear at the right (Drawing Tools on top and Format below).
Copy what you created in step 1 and paste it into the text box.
Click on the Format tab (the cursor must be inside the text box for the Format tab to be visible).
Choose Text Effects / 3-D Options and then 3-D Rotation Options.  A dialogue box will open.  For the X value, enter 180.  Do not enter anything for the other values.  Your image should have rotated to mirror image.
Click Close and save your document.
You should now be able to print your document as usual.
    Good luck!

Can I print a mirror image of something using the printer software - or do i need to have other software installed on my computer to do this?

    HI Sharmoser,
Your printer doesn't support regular mirror image printing. You may can find a 3rd party software that could help you accomplish this but not from the HP software.
Here is a link to your printers manual.

    >select properties
    >click advanced tab
    >removed the checkmark next to ENABLE ADVANCED PRINTING FEATURES

  • Officejet 7500A...how do I print mirror image?

how do I print mirror image on officejet 7500A?

    HI,
Not sure if its in the driver, most brands a removing these options from the driver (or not including them anymore) because of the fact that most picture software programs have these options built in themselves. For example in the standard windows program paint, the option Flip horizontaly will allow you to print a mirror image..

Officejet7500A how do I print mirror image?

Yes using paint works, however it resizes once printed. I have been trying to reverse image print and i think its absolutley insane HP took away this option. Why have the image print for tshirt and not keep reverse. If i open my word banner project in paint, when i print it doesnt stay true to its size, then i have to photocopy and photocopy until i get the right size. Pain in the a@# if you ask me...lol. PLease bring back the option with a driver update! PLease! For pete's sake a ricoh printer at work has it, why not HP home where it will actually be used..

My HP Officejet 4620 all in one printer won't copy or scan, but it will print.  When trying to scan, my computer first shows a window "preparing to scan" then it changes to a window "scanner unreachable".  When trying to copy the printer indicates "now copying page 1/1" but it never produces a copy.  The light never goes across the flat glass, photographing the image to be scanned or copied.

  • How do I change the scan resolution on my HP Officejet 4620?

My printer scans images at 200 dpi but I want to change it to scan at 300 dpi to get a better quality image, but I can't figure out how to change the settings for the resolution. I have a Mac  OS X 10.8.5 Help!

Welcome to the HP Forums Roberta831,
I read your post, which indicates that you are unable to change the dpi for scanning.
I can help you with this.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. The Airprint driver might be installed instead of the Printer's driver. (usually defaults to Airprint)
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen should show the name.
If the printer name shows Airprint then that is the Apple drivers, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.

What scanning software are you using?
Try scanning with the Apple Software to see if you have the same results.
How to Scan: OS X v10.9.
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

  • Mirror image printing

I am using a OfficeJet Pro L7590 All-In-One.  When I try to print a page from an Adobe PDF page, the copy comes out mirror image.  I have an older HP printer connected also and it prints fine.  What gives?

I'm glad it worked out for you. As for doubt regarding which update fixed the issue, I'm sure it's Adobe's. I've personally seen this and other issues with order versions of Adobe Reader, namely a failure to scale large documents to the size of the page, thus appearing extremely zoomed when printed. And in both cases, installing the latest version of Adobe Reader fixed the issue. I'm not saying that you should have both issues right now or before. I'm just saying that in this case, the printer driver did not have a fault... only Adobe Reader did.

  • Printer properties keeps changing 'Mirror Image' option to ON

    I have Word 2003 SP3.
My multifunction printer is HP Officejet Pro L7700.
In printer properties - under the 'advanced' tab, I have 'Mirror Image' set
    to OFF.
However, if I make a change under the 'features' tab in pinter properties,
the 'Mirror Image' will change to ON, without me wanting it to.
How can I keep this from happening?
    Thank you,

Well, I tried this.  As soon as i went into printing shortcuts and changed something, the Mirror Print went back to ON again.
Anyone else?  Somehow, I believe this started happening when MS Service Pack 3 was installed.

  • Everything is printing in mirror image

I cannot print a picture without getting a mirror image

I have this SAME issue: ANY pdf printed from Adobe Reader 9.x prints as a mirror image!!! This is NOT a printer driver problem.
Information: I have 4 computers on a network and a network printer supporting them (HP Officejet L7680). I had Adobe Reader v8.x on all 4 machines - 3 Windows XP, 1 Vista64. All printing/viewing was normal.
I decided to upgrade my Vista64 machine to Adobe 9.x (currently v9.2). That was a mistake. Now, every pdf printed from that machine prints as a mirror image of the pdf. I do not see any kind of printer option under Adobe or my printer to print as a mirror image.
So, 3 Windows XP machines with Adobe 8.x print fine; 1 Vista64 machine with Adobe 8.x printed fine; 1 Vista64 machine upgraded to Adobe 9.x does NOT print correctly.
This problem has cropped up with enough frequency that there is some sort of Adobe 9.x problem. A quick internet search will show the extent of this issue.
