Mirror list status site

Hi,

Since a few weeks i try to monitor and check our mirrors, report those with common problems on bugtracker and try to do researching what problems they have.
The HTML output is not finished, i'm working on it.
Cause the most international arch users read here i make this public announce ;-)

Next week i assume the http output will get more significant and accurate. There are still "artifacts" from the versions history. First checks belongs to the difference of md5sum, mtime and size between the repo db files on ftp.archlinux.org and the mirrors. This take a long time and each run a traffic aroung 70Mb.
Then (thanks Pierre Schmitz, my "Oberboss") provide me md5sum, mtime and size data directly from the devel server.
But the main problem was: if you Devs update all or one db file the mtime diff against the mirrors
"explode" and most mirrors were flagged outdatet by false positive... So i work with offsets and work arounds...
Next step was that we could run a cron job on arch main rsync server which fill a file .lastsync with
the current UTC-Time each hour. With this i was able to do more accurate check when a mirror was last synced.
At the moment i have still a little problems with http mirrors, cause on some circumstands in the
threaded run the connection could not hold established for collecting all necassary informations.
So sometimes mirrors are flagged as having "data collection problems" although they are ok.
I work on this. And so i could study Ruby a little deeper (Hey, i LOVE Ruby ;-)
The quick info (tomk) for the impatient on top is a idea, thanks.
And so i wish to clear the other table data for better structure, maybe i could do it with css.

I want to use an online drum machine ("monkey machine") that requires Java, so I installed Java, apparently correctly.
However, when I try to use the monkey machine drummer, it still demands Java, but Java's security mechanism won't allow me to add the monkey site (or any other site). All I get is an exclamation mark in the box where the list of site exceptions should be. This is in the control panel,under the security tab, after hitting "add" to add sites...

List status function in menu of ALV list is not active

Hi,
Most output of reports in SAP PM (like IW28 or IW38) is based on ALV (SAP list viewer). I used to have a list status function that reported amongst others the number of records in the report. You can find this function in the menu: settings -> list status. However this function is always inactive (grey). When looking in the SAP help for ALV reports this function is still mentioned however. Is there something I have to do to activate this function or is it not available anymore? I am using SAP ECC6.0.

Rather than returning to the old-style list-edit view, we utilised a user-exit to give information such as the number of records.

Since I upgraded to Firefox version 3.6.10, clicking on the downward arrow at the right end of the location bar no longer displays the drop-down list of sites visited, bookmarks and addresses typed in location bar. My Tools > Options > privacy setting is to save history, and if I start typing a previously accessed website's address in the location bar, then the full address appears as a drop-down item. But not when I just click at the right end of the bar.

You can try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the [[Safe mode]] start window.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

What is the REST endpoint URL to get list of site collections in Sharepoint ?

If I go to Sharepoint 2013 site, click on Admin -> Sharepoint, you will see a list of site collections (the link is https://somename-admin.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/online/SiteCollections.aspx)
What is the REST endpoint URL to retrieve this list of site collections ?
I was trying _api/search/query?querytext='contentclass:sts_site' or _api/search/query?querytext='contentclass:sts_web', but it doesn't give the whole list...

As far as i know, There is no REST endpoint at FARM level
it would be good to see a possible way to do this.

Hi,
Use the function module "CLAF_OBJECTS_OF_CLASS". Pass following paramters
CLASS : <Site Group>
CLASSTEXT : 'X'
CLASSTYPE : 030
Output internal table structure T_OBJECTS will have the list of Sites assigned to this site group.

Where does Safari store the full list of sites visited?

I have just started using Safari on my computer and noticed that it pulls down an immense list of site suggestions as soon as I start typing an URL. On closer inspection, these are all sites that I have visited in the past, with other browsers (IE and Mozilla/ Firefox).
Where did Safari go to get this information?
I usually set my browsers to auto erase of history, cookies, etc., so I wasn't aware that these records were being stored in my computer - and I sure would like to know where exactly.

TEM: when attendee is in Waiting list status, workflow should triger notifi

Dear Professionals,
In TEM, we have a scenario where, if an employee/attendee has booked for an event and in waiting list status, when his waiting list status changes to normal booking (bacause of the cancellations in normal booked) a notification mail should be triger to the manager.
We have identified tables related to attendee status and need help/suggestion on: how this can be designed/achieved in workflow?
what are the workflow tasks standard can be used?
what are the workflow containers required and what parameters need to be passed from workflow container to task container?

Hi
First you need to determine the object type and the event associated with this requirement. In order to trace that, switch on the event trace using SWELS and then change the status to the normal book and come back in t-code SWEL to find out the event.
Once you determine that , then you can create a workflow using the above event as the Triggering event. Looking at the object type you can determine the various attributes which can be passed from the object to Workflow Container.
In case, if you didnt find the standard object and event for this scenario then developers can create an object type and event for this scenario and from there workflow can be initiated.

Price list are assigned to article through MC at site master, no where else we define price list with article. When you run WPMA to transfer article price to stores, system will look at assigned price list with MC at site master then transfer the price.
Price list assign at organisational level will help system to find which pricing procedure to be used and which store Net purchase price to be taken for calculation.

System Status- Site Status- Distribution Points Missing

Quick question,
I seem to be missing some DP's from Site Status, if a DP is installed and running, I'm presuming that it should appear in the Monitoring\system Status\Site Status workspace....only I have some DP's that don't appear, what would cause this?

They should show-up there eventually. Did you check the Distribution Point Configuration Status
node to see if the distribution points are up-and-running already?

Depending on how large your farm is and how many webapplications / site collections you need to enumerate to build this list, you might be better off using search to get the list of sites/webs that the user has access to (search results are security trimmed).
You could then enumerate just the list of sites returned to determine the exact permissions.
E.g. Code for getting a list of sites the user has access to:

How do I modify the contents of the drop down list of sites in the navigation toolbar?

The navigation toolbar has a drop down icon, and when I click on it, I get a list of 10 or so web sites. These appear to be the first 10 sites that I visited since my history was last cleared. I would like these instead to be sites that I often visit, and would like to update the list periodically. I cannot find any way to modify this list of sites.

Remove those sites from the history. That drop down list is based on bonus points that are added if you visit a link.
