Mirror screen protector and case

does anyone know a case that has a mirror front that does not need to be "glued" onto the screen (I'm very bad at applying screen protectors ;))

A friend at work has one...they are very cheaply made and don't last...it's no wonder why they come 3 to a pack or only like 5 bucks...they are not as hardy as the other brands and they don't have the best adhesion so they are just all around not what I'd go with for a long term protector...now if you just want a look of coolness for a little while go for it

  • PSP Screen Protector and Cases

Hey, just letting everyone know, I have a black 60 gb 5g. I bought the PSP screen protector and cut it to size to only cover the screen. It works great and the screen still looks great. It has been a week now and i haven't noticed any visible scratches on the black finish, only smudges that are easily wiped clean. I find this in combination with the provived case an excellent solution until cases are released.
On that note, anyone heard of the soonest cases that are being releasted?

    are you kidding?
the 2 pelican screen protects i bought both were visibly altering the the pic/video on my PSP, you could tell you had a screen protector on it, totally got on my nerves...
I tried several different ones and after reading TONS of reviews i bought the Martin Fields protector (they make screen protectors for everything including ipod nano and video) and it lived up to the great reviews, it's see thru, you can't tell anything on the screen, and it's also static, with UV protection.

  • What screen protector and case will you be buying for your new ipad (3rd generation)?

    Hello!
I'd like to know what types of cases people will be buying for their new ipad this coming Friday as well as what type of screen protector/body guard you'd recommend.
I've been looking online trying to find places that would be able to ship before Friday, but I'm not sure which one to go with, there's too many options!  I'm definitely interested in a leather folio case though.
I've also been wondering what type of screen protector to put on.  I've seen the iVisor anti-glare, and I really like how it works, but seriously... anti-glare on a retina display?  I don't know... any thoughts on that or suggestions?  I'd greatly appreciate it!!
    Thanks!

I had an anti-glare screen protector on my iPad 2 and it degraded the quality of the screen so much I removed it. I have a clear skin on the back, which I like. It prevents scratches to the aluminum back and provides a gripping surface to hold on to. The iPad itself was slippery so that extra grip factor helps me. I use a smart cover for the front, because I like the features it has and the quick removability when docking the iPad. I also like that it automatically sleeps and wakes the iPad thereby conserving power. I chose the polyurethane smart cover because I had heard many issues with the leather covers fading/losing color and I couldn't justify the $30.00 dollar difference in price. I dock my iPad into an iHome theater device regularly, so using a portfolio type case would be too cumbersome to deal with. I do think portfolio cases or the otter box cases provide more protection, but they add more bulk to the iPad than I care to deal with. In the end it comes down to personal preference based on your particular needs. The items I have listed and the reasons for them fit my needs, I'm sure others will have different configurations that are specific to their needs. Hope this helps,
    Bob

  • Scratch on iPod Touch, even with screen guard and case?

I recently purchased an iPod Touch and since I got it and have used a screen protector and case for it but as my guard starting to peel off, I took it of to get a replacement and I noticed a small scratch on the top black part of the screen. It is noticable to me and is annoying an so can it be repaired or replaced?
I have look aftered it with my life, and saved up for year to buy it and so that's why I'm asking....:(

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished on for $99, $149 or $199.
A third-party place like the following maybe less expensive. Google for more.

  • Case Question -- iSkin Solo FX Mirrored Screen Protector

I'm considering the iSkin solo FX case for my new iPhone (http://www.iskin.com/solo/). It comes with a mirrored screen protector. I'm assuming the mirrored faceplate is like a two-way mirror, allowing light to emit from behind. Anybody tried this case? Does the mirrored face cut down on the brightness of the iPhone's screen?

The case is real cool ( i have the burnt orange one.) Real sleek, and grips nicely on hard surfaces. 2 BUTS: the mirror face always looks grimy, because it shows every single fingerprint, (especially if you have lotion on your hand or face.) And some dirt accumulates along the side edges. But the look is nice (definitely a two-way mirror effect) and only cuts down on the brightness of the screen about 5%.

  • Where can i buy iphone 6 plus tampered glass screen protector and waterproof casing

where can i buy iphone 6 plus tampered glass screen protector and waterproof casing. how much is it and where can i get it.FROM SINGAPORE

If you take a look at the Lifeproof fre and it's features, I don't think you should need a tempered glass screen.  I have found this case to be so perfect that the touch ID works better than it did directly on the iPhone 6 Gorilla Glass.

  • I took off my screen protector, and it left bubbles in the actual screen! How do I get rid of them?

I put on the screen protector and noticed it had some bubbles so I peeled it back to fix it. Well, what I though was an air bubbles in the protector, was a bubble in the screen!! This WAS NOT there before. How do I get rid of the bubble that is in the iphone?
    Thanks!

    zinkiew,
Why don't you go to the "Screen Protector Mfg" web site and see what they say about removing the residue mark. Most all S. P. sites have a section on how to clean the screen when you take the protector off.
That said have you tried a damp soft cloth?
You can also try a piece of "Scotch Tape"... press the sticky side of the tape on the bubble mark and then lift it off. You may have to do it several times to get it all.
Their may be some solvents like alcohol that will remove the mark if it is glue residue from the protector. But make sure you check with Apple before you use any solvents. Some solvents may attack the Oleophobic coating on the iPhone screen.
You can also Google for a solution to your problem. I have seen several "How to" articles to deal with the issue you are having.
Just so you don't do something to make things worse I will repeat my caveat - Check with Apple before you use anything but a damp soft cloth.

When it gets bad enough, you will need to replace the screen.
Your warranty covers defects in material and workmanship.
That sounds like accidental damage -- glass does not tend to crack spontaneously.
Check your homeowners insurance to see if there might be coverage.

  • Screen protectors and image quality

I have a screen protector on my 3G and thinking about getting one for my iPhone 4. How you guys liking them so far? I am worried about it degrading the image quality of the new high res screen.
    Tom

I've had every iPhone since it came out & I've never used a screen protector. I've never once ever had even the slightest tiny little scratch. That's not to say though that the screen on the ip4 will have the same luck bc I know it's not the same plus, in addition, I know the back is glass also & it's exposed due to the design of the bumper, which is my personal choice at this time.
I do wonder what the future will hold in reference to the other companies design for the new phone like Ncase, Griffith, Frogz, etc.??? They may come up with the clear plastic type snap on cases on different colors or variations of smoke colored to clear plastic. This way we can still see the phone, especially if you prefer the white if they ever start selling them, & it will be protected at the same time. Only problem is with those cases is u have to keep the touch pad exposed for use & you would still need a screen protector if this model does indeed scratch. Better than nothing though. I still wonder if it will scratch. I am HORRIBLE at putting on those screen protectors. No matter what I do I get bubbles etc. Used a credit card & started one end very slowly & it comes out looking ********. I KNOW that I NEVER had ANY scratched on my ip3Gs & the glass is the same as the iPad.

  • Screen protectors and nano

I have some Palm screen protectors I'm thinking of cutting down and putting on the entire front and back of my iPod nano, at least until cases are available.
Anyone know of any problems with putting a screen protector (meant for glass or hard plastic) on the metal back or plastic front of the nano? Will it come off without residue, as it does on a screen?
And will the track wheel work with a protector covering it?

Don't use the ones made by Palm!!! I used them on my iPod photo, left it on for a few days, decided to take it off and try something else, and it left behind a horrible sticky residue that I had to rub away with alcohol and ended up scratching the crap out of the plastic.
Screen protectors made by Belkin are bad (they're not transparent enough) but don't have the problem, and ones made by Fellows are ok.
However, I would definitely recommend Sony PSP protectors made by Pelican, available from Fry's, Best Buy, Target, and other stores. They are absolutely transparent so the you can see the screen clearly and never know there was something over it. It clings using static, so it's easy to remove. If you mess up putting it on the first time, you can peel it off and try it again since there's no adhesive. If you get dust on it while trying to put it on, just rinse it off with water, and it'll still cling to any plastic surface. It's the best screen protector I have ever come across.

  • Can I come into an apple store near me, buy an iPod Touch screen protector, and have a store employee put it on for me because I am very bad at putting them on.

Can someone tell me an answer?

I want to add that taking the inital measurement  you dont remove the sticky part until after you make you final measurement. Line the screen protector up, make a cut, then take final or adjusting measurements and make final cut. Then remove sticky back and place onto the screen. Be careful and slow lining up and placing the protector. Use a plastic credit card and smooth it on. Thats to keep air pockets from being displayed.

  • Should I get a screen protector for my iPad air 2?

SShould I get a screen protector for my iPad air 2?

It's a personal decision. I've had a screen protector on my iPad 2 since the day it was bought. Same with my touch 4 and 5 (and I was able to sell my touch 4 to Best Buy in 'like new' condition thanks to a screen protector and case). other people swear never to use them and their devices are just fine.
I have two nieces that like to use my iPad so I appreciate the protector and the ability to clean it off without worrying about messing with the screen. Others don't like how the screen protector feels and won't use them. So I'd say it boils down to how are you going to use your device. Will it sit on the coffee table and never leave the house and only be used by adults? then you can probably do fine without one. Gonna take it to school  and on vacation and all over the place using it wherever? then you should consider a screen protector and case
Just don't go for the super cheap ones off amazon. They're cheap for a reason. I use a zagg one. it is expensive but it has a lifetime guarantee. If it's messed up protecting your device they replace it free. So worth it for me.

  • Conformal screen protector on Iphone 6

Just got my iPhone 6.  Nice looking phone.
I have Always put a screen protector and case on my iPhones.  So I had some ready for this phone.
But then I saw an issue.  The screen is a "conformal" screen.  Any screen protector will only fit the flat part of the screen!!  I put mine and it it looks like crap.  Where with previous phones you mostly could not even tell that there is a protector on the screen.  Mine now looks like a have a transparent material sitting on a portion of the screen.
Does anyone know if anyone is making a conformal screen protector.  Maybe that is in the too hard category??

I Have not seen one, but I took an iPad screen protector that I had and cut it out to fit on the screen. Looks great. These companies are being ******** the screen meets the sides, but the glass is not "curved" guess I'll have to keep doing that until they figure out people don't want their iPhones to only be half covered!

  • IPad mini screen protector

Hi everyone. I have an iPad mini (1 gen) and I'm using a Smart Cover. I'm being really careful with the device and almost never take it out of my house. so I was wondering-do I also need a screen protector (a sticker) in addition to the Smart Cover or is the iPad's original screen has scratches-durability? (Scratches on the screen is my only concern).

I personally always use one. Bear in mind that I like to keep my toys as pristine as possible and am geekily proud of the fact that I sold my iPod 4 after 3 years of use looking just like it did when I bought it.
However, if the iPad spends its day on your coffee table, never leaves the house and you're the only one that uses it, you're probably fine without one.
It does come down to a personal choice, but I would equate the screen protector and case to the shoes you wear....spend most of the time around the house and able to just get by with slippers or flipflops, you dont' need a screen protector. Need to wear steel toed work boots and take it out in the field, then protect the screen.

  • Im looking for a case with a built in screen protector Help

Im looking for a case, thats semi-slim, with a built in screen protector, and possibly waterproof.
    any suggestions

I think if your looking for that kind of protection its pretty much going to add bulk...I've searched through hundreds of cases and those are the smallest with built in screen protectors...im 5' tall 100lbs and the ballistic fits in my pocket comfortably...I've never seen an otterbox on one so I can't truly compare them...I know I found a leather flip front case with a screen protector on Amazon too...very little protection and far from waterproof though...they have baggy kind of things that are waterproof that you can use your phone through...I don't know if it would fit in with any kind of case on it though
