Miscalculation of time alarm is set to go off.

When turning on my alarms Sunday night ( actually Monday moring at 12:04 AM ) which is means my alarms will be going off in 6-7 hours and my Charge says this....

i am searching for days for a good solution to handle those notifications at night time on my iphone. I searched the internet in english, german and russian, but i was not able to find a official solution for my problem. Only jailbrake apps like MyProfiles seem to work, but i am not going to jailbreak my phone.
So here is the problem. I have iPhone 4 with IOs5. When i go sleep, i want to put my iPhone into silent mode. BUT
1. I still want to hear if somebody is calling me and i want to be able to use the alarm function to wake me up.
2. i want to disable both sounds and vibration for !!any!! other notification, like all kinds of push services: email, facebook etc.
I think i am not the only one with this problem and there should be a suitable official solution for this.

Unfortunately, there aren't any fully customizable profiles like BlackBerry had. However, if you want to have a way for your phone to have zero ringers other than the alarm, you can. Just plug a pair of headphones into the headphone jack and all sounds (text alert, etc.) will play through the headphones while the alarm still plays through the speakers on the bottom of the phone.

I am about to go traveling quite a bit in multiple time zones. However, I have to take medication every 24 hours. I use the iPhone alarm to set a time. Is there a way I can adjust it so it goes off whenever it is, say 10pm in US eastern time zone even if I'm in another time zone and my iphone clock is local time?

My iPod touch 3rd generation won't play on my iPod dock when the alarm I set goes off. It plays normally and charges, but it won't work with the alarm. Could it be the iPod dock or my iPod?

My iPod touch just recently started doing this: I plug it in to my Sony iPod dock/alarm clock/radio. It charges fine and plays music fine, but when I set the alarm for it to go off, it doesn't go off. I can see that the dock is indicating that the alarm is going off, but the iPod isn't playing music. Could it be my iPod or the dock?
Also, there were 2 times when I plugged in my iPod to charge (once with a wall charger and once with the dock) and it said that it was fully charged. But it wasn't fully charged. I bought one of those iPod wall chargers from Target. It's not an Apple charger, but it is for iPods. Could it be that?
I'm going to try to reset my iPod and see if that helps any.

I have contacted apple support and Bose support. When I have heard back will post for everyone. I do encourage everyone to contact both companies until we get an answer to hopefully solve this issue. The more people who contact them about the issue, maybe the better chance they will help fix the issue.

Timer alarm can't be stopped.

Yesterday evening I setup an timer for about 15 minutes and after the minutes are over the alarm started and on the lockscreen I saw the icon "disable alarm". I pushed this button but nothing happened, also going into the system to the timer where I can set it it was not stoppable. I could start a new timer but no stop was possible. My only solution was to push the home button as long as siri comes up and this had stopped the timer alarm.

I understand your frustration, however remember this is a small handheld computer and things happen. User troubleshooting is a restart (power the phone off/on), reset (hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release, the phone reboots) and the last two involve restoring. Most hiccups can be adjusted by a simple reset. I know you have restarted/rebooted your computer before.
Funny, my alarm tone remained what it was with the alarm I had saved prior to updating, but the Timer tone was set to Radar? Go figure.

Ok I have same issue too! I have my alarm set up to wake me up Mon through Fri, just for work. I also noticed it doesn't go in order by day of week!
Clearly I think it should be Monday, Tuesday, no matter what time you want to wake up. So if I were to keep the same time, then it's fine, but say I want to get up later on Tues, then you can see how it goes to bottom! So I deleted all alarms, but still I had an alarm go off! How can an alarm go off, when no alarm is set? It's like there is a secret alarm hidden in the background! Virus on phone? iOS 8.2 issue? I downloaded 8.2 few weeks ago.

Can I use my Time Capsule to set up multiple networks, or just one? We'd like to offer the internet to clients who are at our studio, but don't want them able to access all our computers, so a second network for them would be useful.

Two big IFs here.
Not all versions of the Time Capsule have Guest Networking capability, so it might be a good idea to verify that first. Can you provide the model number of your Time Capsule. it's on the bottom of the device.....starts with an "A" followed by four numbers.
Next, assuming that the Time Capsule has Guest Network capability, the next requirement would be to verify that your modem is compatible with the Time Capsule for that feature.
Basically, you need a simple modem.....not a modem/router or gateway device that is often furnished by Internet Service Providers. If you are not sure what you have, post back with the make and model number of your "modem" and we'll see if we can find some details ont he device.

Are you using a new 802.11ac Time Capsule - the "tall" one - and are you still using Mac OS X 10.6.8?
You need OS X 10.7.5 "Lion" or later, or an iOS device, to configure an 802.11ac Time Capsule:

"RT Set date and time" does not set seconds in UTC mode

Hallo,
I tried to set the time on my cRio 9012 with the function settimeUTC which is used by the "Set Date and Time" vi. But the seconds I enter are ADDED to the current time and not set as new value.
Even the vi shows this behaviour: I set up a vi in which the time is set in a loop (100ms delay) and read again. When I set local time the clock stops (as expected) but when I set the UTC time the seconds keep on running...
Can anybody help me with that problem???

well it does not matter if I set a time zone in the MAX or not. In my example I was working on UTC + 0 but even when I set it to my local time (UTC + 1) I get the same behaviour modified by one hour.
My LabView Version is 8.5. In in the MAX under Software-> LabView-RealTime it says that I am using 8.5.0.
I suspect that the settime.out which is installed on the cRio is probably the root of the problem as VxWorks itself does not offer a function (at least I did not find one) to convert from broken down system time to system time in seconds. There only exist one to convert from broken down local time to system time in seconds ( mktime() ). The reverse function is available for both cases: gmtime() and localtime(). I also did not find a way to find out the offset of the local time. So I have to use the library function settimeUTC() from settime.out.
As I offered I can send you the settime.out file from my cRio for reference or maybe you can tell me how to find out what the version of the file is. It seems not to be an ELF file as I looked inside it to find some timestamp or version info...

Sounds like we have a similar problem. Four days ago I was playing music through a wireless Bose speaker via bluetooth and everything was fine. Then I was texting while listening and got 2 texts about the same time as I was typing one and my phone went black. I pushed the home button and it worked, went into my texts and all were there. However ever since then the time isn't right, so it can't keep time no matter what I do. The bluetooth works only at times, the wifi keeps jumping on and off, sometimes my data won't work and the other day I couldn't even turn it off, so had to wait until it died. The battery life display at that moment wasn't correct either. Took to Verizon, they couldn't help. Suggested a factory reset, which I did last night and still the same issues! One day I couldn't even text my husband on his iPhone. Just wouldn't work at all. Did everything suggest and still not good. Seems like after stalking these pages today a lot of people are having this problem in Dec/Jan and of course also I'm 3 weeks out of my 1 year warranty and so were many others, by days. Very strange, and all on the 5C. What did you do? Is it working now?

Getting alarms for events in delegate calendar, but alarm not set in event

I use iCal as a front-end to Google Apps calendar (gCal). I am using the CalDAV interface to gCal. I set up iCal to sync 1) with my gCal and 2) with 2 other gCals, of business associate, via iCal delegates. This is mostly working. In iCal I see the events for all 3 calendars and syncing seems OK.
The problem is that for one of the delegate calendars, I get Alarm pop-ups for every event scheduled by that colleague. In most cases I am not an attendee in the event. When I look at the event settings, in this delegate calendar, the "Alarm" is set to none.
I'd really like to stop getting this extraneous Alarm pop-ups. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Actually, not quite ditto. I am not using gCal. I have a CalDAV server, with two calendars served, my wife's and mine. Each of us is a delegate of the other. On iCal on her computer, she has "ignore alerts" set for all my calendars, and this works. However, she gets the alerts on her iphone. I cannot find an option to "ignore alerts" for the iPhone calendar app. What am I missing here?
