Mismach of stocks in MB5T and MMBE

Hi Expert,
I have one STO for which when I am looking stock in transit stock in MB5T and MMBE, it is mismatching. why is it so??Material used in STO contains oil specific data.

MMBE VS MB5T
In MMBE you have to specify one material number - generically search is
not allowed. The transit stock in MMBE
In MB5T you can enter multiple material number - or search for all
materials in transit by leaving the material filed blank. MB5T shows the
relation between purchasing documents and the quantities in transit.
MEFE is used to print scheduling agreement schedules. Previously
purchasing print functions were handled with ME90. The transaction got
specified to
ME9A Message Output: RFQs
ME9E Message Output: Sch. Agmt. Schedules
ME9F Message Output: Purchase Orders
ME9K Message Output: Contracts
ME9L Message Output: Sched. Agreements
IT MEANS stock exists only at plant level, like subcontract stock or else stock in transit, please execute mmbe, if any stock is in picture then click quanity and go to the menu -->environment, select material movement then you can find how it happened in what transactions,
else use t code mblb, mb5t to fetch these stocks

did you check any stock type in MMBE? or just the 3 that are visible by default?
Double click the stock line in MMBE, (at plant level) you will get a pop-up that displays all stock types. Maybe your stock is in a stock type that is not displayed amont the 3 in the first screen.
Further you have to know that the material master shows the valuated stock (table MBEW) while MMBE shows the storage location stock (basically table MARD and many others for special stocks)

HI,
Stock in Trasit and In transfer (Plant) both material document you can find by MMBE here Enter Material code and Plant (Receiving) and Execute. In the Stock overview screen Right click on Qty. shown (Stock In Transit and In Transfer) and click Material Movement. You can will get the Material document. Check Movement type 313 for Stock in Transit and 303 for In Transfer (Plant).

Difference between CO09 and MMBE Transactions

Hi All,
Please let me know difference between CO09 and MMBE Transactions.
FOr particular material and plant ,Quantity 1 is there as FGI in MMBE screen but it is not there in CO09 for same material in the same plant.

MMBE(Stock over view ) : By using this transaction code we can get the information pertinent to the particular material stock levels in the respective plant and storage locations.
With the help of the detailed display we will know wether the material is in transit mode ,restricted ,unrestricted and so on........
CO09(Avilability overview): With the help this we will know when the order was raised and the confirmed quantities.
Apart from that we know about the goods issues and goods recites of respective plant.

Hi Suresh,
As per my understanding it is not possible in a single Table.
If this is required for customized Z report then use this logic it may gives the correct information.
In the combination of MARD and MBEW.. From MBEW you can get the value for each Base Unit of Measure then multiply that value with storage location stock.
It may usefull to u..in the mean time i will try for some other option.

You will need the help of an abaper in solving this , as a BAdi FAGL_PERIOD_CHECK - Posting Period Check has been activated.
Please check the implementation of the BAdi , i feel that it has not been implemented properly.
This Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to extend the existing check of open posting periods.
The result of the period check is provided to you as a parameter (CH_SUBRC). In your implementation, you can derive this parameter again (for example, if a posting is rejected under a certain condition).
The following values are allowed for parameter CH_SUBRC:
0 Posting allowed
4 Period & is not open for account type & and general ledger &
6 No authorization for posting period & &
This is a custome developemnt , so only the ABAper present at your end will be able to resolve it.

Quartz Extreme not showing up on stock Mac Pro and card

I have purchased a new Mac Pro and LED Cinema Display from the Apple store last month. Safari Top Sites is not working and the "help" stated I need Quartz Extreme. Looked in the profile, but it is not listed in the list on the right at all. It is a stock apple card and display.

With Snow Leo basically if you can't get quartz extreme you shouldn't be running 10.6.x
Easy way to tell if it is working though would be that your menu bar across the entire top of the screen is transparent, or if you add a widget to dashboard you will get the ripple effect. If you are on a system where Quartz Extreme is disabled you will not get those effects.

Stock coverage, Stock average coverage and stock turnover

I need your help.
I have just implemented the Inventory Management module in BW. It is working perfecly.
Now my client want me to calculate Stock coverage, Stock average coverage and stock turnover.
The standard module doesn't give me that.
As this may be a normal requirement in Industrial businesses, do you know a intelligent way to calculate this?

In here we use the stock coverage in report like this: the Quantity of Total Stock (0TOTALSTCK) divided by the Quantity of Goods Issued.
This one is a Calculated Key Figure based on all the GI types relevant defined by the customer.
We also use the Stock average coverage but by quarters: Quantity of total stock / (Qty GI from that quarter (example first quarter 3) / 3).
Sorry... we don't use stock turnover.

Is anybody aware of any standard report which will show the stock of material and moving average price of the material for each valuation type.
M5BL is one report but would like to check if there is any other report.

Batch is nothing but your valuation type.

Move stock between quality and un-restrict

Hi all,
Is there any possibility in moving the stock between quality and un-restrict excluding release production order/ GR PO to get the procedure.
When I use MB1B/MB11 with the correct movement type, the system shows: You can move it in QM only.
My background : I activate the QM view in my system, and activate QM type: 01.04.89 for most materials.

If you want to move the stock from QM stock to unrestricted , do not activate QM view.
check the box " Inspection stock" (MARC-INSMK) either in Purchasing view/work scheduling view.
For some materials if you do not want to activate full QM functionality ,but still to inspect visually before accepting at GR stage.
This functionality will be of much use in cae of maintenence items.

Customer Stock (Special stock indicator B and item category C)

Dear All,
I am mapping my service center scenario in sap,
We are consumer product manufacturer when material is wthin warranty or outside warranty, for any defects or replacement customer come with defective material to my service center.
When i will post receipt for the material it should be the CUSTOMER stock,
For that i need detailed information about special stock indicator B and movement type combination.
also item category C in purchasing documents.
plz tell me that i can directly configure these things in sap or B and C both are standard provided by sap.
I am using 4.7 in my system B and C both are not available.

K     Consignment (vendor)
M     Ret.trans.pkg vendor
O     Parts prov. vendor
P     Pipeline material
Q     Project stock
V     Ret. pkg w. customer
W     Consignment (cust.)
Y     Shipping unit (whse)
I have not found B - Special Stock indicator.
You can use Accotunt assignment Category D - with Special Stock Indicator E to get the Material into Stock Under Sales Order Stock..
Item Category S - Third Party is used only in case of Third Party Process & athe Account assignment Category Picked is X - All aux.acct.assgts.

please explain steps to create a stock transport order and third party order with transaction code what are the pre-requisite. related to MM?

First you need a supplying plant. stock ready to transfer for a matetrial which should be created/extended at both the suppling and receiving plants.
The order type is UB
rest of the things are Pur org, Pur Grp, Company Code etc...
The most important part is Vender has been replaced by supplying plant.

try using BAPI_STSRVAPS_REQUESTLIST2 to read the stock
not sure if all the stock figures will appear in it (safety stock is a calculated KF and may not be picked up here)
BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL2 shoudl give you the planning book details including the safety stock
if you can see it in the planning book and it is a time series KF you can extract it using this

How can I keep stock 2.1 and refuse Froyo OTA push indefinitely (without rooting)?

After initially accepting the Froyo push (from stock 2.1) and being unhappy with it, I reverted back to stock 2.1 (unrooted.) Now, I'm getting the Froyo OTA notification again but, there is no option to just flat-out "Don't Install" or "Ignore." I've been through the settings but, I don't see anything to disable automatic updates from the service provider (a la Windows Updates.)
Thoughts?
