  • NOT Getting Values for LOCATION...on MultiProvider REPORT

    HI All,
    I have a MultiProvider on 4 cubes.All these 4 cubes having object LOCATION. I can see data in all cubes for LOCATION. I am running a report on this MultiProvider.
    Problem:
    I am not getting Values for LOCATION. Why?
    What I did:
    I checked all location objects of all 4 cubes @ MultiProvider level .
    I didn't use any Infoprovider in Qry designer sections.
    Please suggest. What is the reason how to solve..
    THanks & Regards.

    hello,
    in the identification tab of the MP,make sure you have checked all four checkboxes across the 4 infoproviders.
    then in Listcube T-Code, select your MP,display the records based on selection inputs and see if location is populated.
    If the data is not coming in listcube, then it will not come in the Query too.

  • Mismatched swatch values

    We are using CS4. As part of our production process we are using a program called FlightCheck to preflight files. We just upgraded to a new version of this application and it is indicating that there are conflicting values in colors used in our documents. This usually means that a color specified in InDesign is different than a color in an eps file placed in the InDesign file. Upon checking the graphics it appears that the CMYK values of the colors are different in InDesign. We are using a set of swatches we created and saved out for all to share so everyone is using the same colors. When we load these swatches in Illustrator the CMYK numbers are correct, however when we load them into InDesign they are changed slightly. For instance a color defined as C=100, M=40, Y=20, K=0 in Illustrator appears in InDesign as C=100, M=39.9, Y=20.0001, K=0. I checked that our color settings are synchronized for the Creative Suite so why would this be happening? Has anyone seen this behavior before? Thanks in advance for any help.

    They are not converting spot colors and the graphics don't have embedded
    profiles. What's strange is the old version of FlightCheck didn't flag it,
    but the new version does.
    I'm like you, I'd like to know where it is coming from. I saved out the
    swatches from Illustrator with just a blank document open and loaded them
    into a blank InDesign file and the values changed just doing that. There
    were no imported graphics involved. If I fixed the values in InDesign and
    saved the swatches again, then imported them back into InDesign they were
    fine. Strange...
    Thanks!

    Subject: Mismatched swatch values
    This is going to be more a cosmetic problem in the application than a problem
    on press. You won't be able to detect a difference of .1%, let alone .001%,
    but it would be nice to know where it's coming from.
    Are you converting spot colors? Do the imported files have embedded profiles,
    and if so do they match the ID working space?

  • DS 6.3 purpose/value of "location" on backup tab?

    I've searched the docs, DSCC online help and the forums, and have been unable to dig out the answer.
    Can anyone explain the purpose/use of the "location" value on the DSCC backup tab?
    Is it intended to be a filesystem path?
    Thus far, I've been unable to get the dscc backup to work, and it appears to hinge on the value of location.
    Pleas ehelp.
    alan

    If you click the DS server name, and get to the Server operation "main" tab, in the "general" section, there is a "location" value. I've found that if I set a value for location, that backup does not appear to work, so I should have worded the question differently. --- What is the relation of the "location" setting to backup?

  • Step Value in Locator Train Element

    Hi,
    I am using Train Locator element in OAFramework pages.
    I have created 6 steps in the train region i am also using Submit Button in that Locator element region as described in OA Framework help and wants to display button at last page for that i m comparing step value as explained in OA framework help in processRequest as:
    OATrainBean trainBean =
    (OATrainBean)pageContext.getPageLayoutBean().getLocation();
    // You must call the following before getting the target page index.
    trainBean.prepareForRendering(pageContext);
    int step = trainBean.getSelectedTrainStepRenderedIndex() ;
    if (step + 1 != trainBean.getNumberOfRenderedTrainSteps())
    OASubmitButtonBean submitButton =
    (OASubmitButtonBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("Submit");
    submitButton.setRendered(false);
    But every time when 1st page renders submit button is displayed then for 2,3,4,5 page it is not displayed then it is displayed for last page.
    Everytime when 1st page rendered value of step comes 5!! while it should come 0.
    I only want to display this submit button at last page not at 1st page.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,
    Does the workitem reference the workflow container element directly, or does it get passed in via binding?
    I've tried something similar in the past and found that text was cut to 80 characters in mail steps.
    Your truncated text is 84 characters long, are you sure all of it is showing?

  • How to get real value from selectOneChoice with javascript?

    Hi,
    How to get real value from selectOneChoice with javascript? The event.getNewValue() only gets me the index of the selected item, not the value/title.
    JSF page:
    <af:resource type="javascript">
    function parseAddress(event)
    alert("new value: " + event.getNewValue());
    </af:resource>
    <af:selectOneChoice label="Location:" value="" id="soc4">
    <af:clientListener type="valueChange" method="parseAddress" />
    <f:selectItems value="#{Person.locations}" id="si7"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    HTML :
    <option title="225 Broadway, New York, NY-10007" selected="" value="0">225 Broadway (Central Office)</option>
    <option title="90 Mark St., New York, NY-10007" value="1">90 Mark St. (Central Office)</option>
    Thanks a lot.

    Something I was missing ,
    You need to add valuePassThru="true" in your <af:selectOneChoice component. I have personally tested it and got the actual value in alert box. I hope this time you got the real solution. You can also test the following code by your end.
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.1"
    xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"

    xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich">

    <f:view>

    <af:selectOneChoice label="Set Log Level" id="soc1"

    valuePassThru="true">
    <af:selectItem label="select one" value="First" id="s6"/>
    <af:selectItem label="select two" value="Second" id="s56"/>
    <af:clientListener method="setLogLevel" type="valueChange"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    <af:resource type="javascript">
    function setLogLevel(evt) {
    var selectOneChoice = evt.getSource();
    var logLevel = selectOneChoice.getSubmittedValue();
    // var logLevelObject = AdfLogger.NONE;
    alert("new value is : " + logLevel);
    //alert(evt.getSelection);
    //alert(logLevelObject);
    evt.cancel();
    </af:resource>
    </af:panelBox>
    </af:form>
    </af:document>

  • Find Index for max value of array

    I can use arrayMax to get the max value for a small array, but I need to get which index the max value is located. That will determine which page the user goes to next. Here is my code:
    array:
    <cfset arrAverages[1]="#qryFairness.fairness#"/>
    <cfset arrAverages[2]="#qryHonesty.honesty#"/>
    <cfset arrAverages[3]="#qryCompassion.compassion#"/>
    <cfset arrAverages[4]="#qrySelfControl.SelfControl#"/>
    <cfset arrAverages[5]="#qryMoralConcern.MoralConcern#"/>
    These values are gathered from querying values stored in a table.
    I can get the max value in the array easily by:
    <cfdump var="#arrayMax(arrAverages)#">
    What I can't figure out is how to get the row in this array where that max value is located. It seems like it would be so simple, but nothing I have tried has worked.
    Thanks,

    You can find it in one line of code! Here is an example:
    <cfset testArr[1]=-183>
    <cfset testArr[2]=79>
    <cfset testArr[3]=6>
    Max.:  <cfoutput>#arraymax(testArr)#</cfoutput><br>

    Are you talking about server-side java code (servlets/jsp) or client side (applet)? Given we are in the JSP forum I'll assume we're talking server side.
    If so, you are making a common but fundamental mistake. JavaScript executes on the client, not on the server. If you want client data on the server it has to get there somehow. The simplest way to do this in JSP land is via HTTP. So... have your JavaScript code call a JSP (or servlet) and pass the value you want as a URL parameter. Of course this will also change the browser location, so if you don't want this to happen use a frame or iframe to capture your HTTP request.
    For example:
    Javascript....
    function someFunction() {
    return 1;
    var value = someFunction();
    location.href="somejsp.jsp?value=" + value;

  • Custom field in SRM as a dropdown field with values stored in R/3

    Hi all,
    I need help with custom drop-down field in SRM 5.0 shopping cart. We need to create custom field called Location in SRM goods receipt transaction. And this location field will be a drop-down field that will be filled with values from locations stored in R/3. I would really appreciate if someone can help me achieve this.
    Regds,

    Hi,
       Just attach a  custom search help to this field and then in the search help EXIT(RFC enabled Function module) write the logic to reterive the values from R/3.

  • DBMS_LOB.LOADFROMFILE causes numeric value error

    The code below causes a numeric value error when I do LOADFROMFILE. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks.

    if dbms_lob.fileexists(locator) = 1 then

    lsize := dbms_lob.getlength(locator);

    EXCEPTION
    WHEN OTHERS THEN
    dbms_output.put_line('Error -- ' || SUBSTR(sqlerrm, 1, 200));
    DBMS_LOB.FILECLOSE(locator);

    Yes. The column clobcol (in the SELECT in your example) should be set to empty_clob() or already contain a CLOB, before selecting the column value into the local variable. The example in the DBMS_LOB documentation page is misleading as it does not mention this.
    Note also that it is best to use dbms_lob.getlength to establish the value for
    the amount parameter.
    Hope this helps others searching for information on this - I have spent some painful hours working this out!

  • Dynamic Configuration - Values changing depending on System

    Hi,
    We have a requirement where we need to send the files of an interface to different locations on the same server based on Company Codes. We have used Dynamic configuration to achieve this function.
    However the location names also differ based the environment. The values of location differ between the TEST and PRODUCTION environments. I was planning on using SYSTEM ID ( Like in ABAP SYST table ) to achieve this function howvere i cannot find a Java method that can give me access to the System Values.
    Can someone help me point to the JAVA method i can use in the UDF Map to acess these values and determine the name of the location.
    Regards,
    Arunava

    Yes as Shabarish pointed  use System class in Java. You can fetch any information related to System using this class. You can find whether the environment is TEST or PROD like that...
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/essential/environment/sysprop.html
    String env =   System.getProperty("SAPSYSTEMNAME")
    If (env.equals("TEST"){
       //do something
    }else{
      // code per requirement
