Missing 1 pixel on Export

I'm doing some HDR. Everything is shot raw (CR2, Canon) and processed in LR5. I sync all settings (WB, Lens Correction, etc.) needed. I export full size jpg (I've tried both exporting jpg and tiff) and everytime I do, the first shot of the series has either 1 extra pixel, or missing 1 pixel either on the long axis, or the short. Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason. Since it is 1 pixel off, Neither CS6 or Photomatix will process all the shots. I've checked all the files, and they're all the same dimension when they start out 4176 x 2783. But after processing, the first pic will be 4176 x 2783 and the next 3 or 4 will be 4175 x 2783, or 4176 x 2784, etc...

Has anyone else experienced this?

it occurs with 'Resize to fit' unchecked, so how can this be an Export module issue?
Maybe it's a crop issue. As we know, the crop ratios are stored as floating point numbers which (presently) lack sufficient precision. Even if not resized for export, Lr still needs to convert a fractional crop to a whole number of edge pixels, and Lr isn't doing that correctly sometimes. So a comprehensive work-around fix involves fixing export presets *and* crop presets *and* crops made with old presets.
The hardest part of that is fixing crops made with old (but not too old) presets (i.e. those defined when crop preset precision lacking). XmpCrop will do it, simply by entering the same crop that you want (it'll re-crop with proper precision), however there is presently no facility for auto-fixing, so one may have to do them one at a time... If Adobe does not repair Lr in 5.2 final release, I'll consider an auto-fix option in XmpCrop. To fix without xmp-crop plugin, just go through and select a different crop, then reselect the "same" (repaired) crop preset.
If unsized exports of uncropped files are wrong then so am I...

  • Missing data when exporting webi to excel (not 65536 limit problem)

    Hi guys
I just meet a problem about webi that it will miss data when exporting webi to excel.
It's not about 65536 limitation, as my webi report do some aggregration and limitation and never beyond that limitation.
Also there are 2 tabs in my reports, if I split the 2 tabs into 2 separate reports and export them separately, then problem disappeared.
    Any ideas on this?

Table EST07 should be part of export file. I am not sure if the packing requirement ist part of EST07.
Furthermore wirh ECC 6.0 EnhPAck3 some changes happend generally in the area of DG classification.
E.g. Dynamic dangerous goods classification. I am not sure if these changes are "included" in some sense in the EH&S data download.

  • Do you know how to keep from getting missing pixels?

    Dear fellow Photoshop Beginners,
I am having an issue making a texture for a school project. Everytime I duplicate a layer and then "ctrl + T" to align the texture, I end up getting missing pixels along the edges of the duplicates even after I merge the layers. The original image is on the left and the duplicates are snapped to the right to create an elongated texture. I am using CS6. Do you know how to duplicate a layer without missing pixels on the edge?

Hmm, I tried it myself and at 25% view I did see a line between the original and the duplicate:
However, zooming in to 100% there was no border between the images, and looking at the individual pixels (600%) showed that there were no missing pixels.
I'm wondering, what is the final purpose for this pattern, and what is the final file format? What happens when you view your image at 100%?

  • Idvd pixelated when exported from imovie

DVD looks great on imac but dvd is pixelated once exported from imovie and put on dvd using IDVD.
    Any suggestions

    Welcome to the forums, Alison.
I'm not a GarageBand user, but couldn't you export the GB audio tracks as a Quicktime file, and then import that audio track into iMovie? If it's combined in iMovie, then it should import into iDVD without a conceptual hitch.

  • Apple imac display dirt or missing pixel in screen

hi i have just today received my new silver imac. I bought it off the refurb site on apple but it appears to have a black spec mark in the screen about 5 pixels big. I have seen missing pixels but this appears to be a random shape which makes me think it cud be dirt in the screen. my question is does anyone know where i stand with apple do i have to except this or will they sort it?

Hopefully all that you need is to perform disk repair (not permissions) using the Disk Utility version located on your grey-label Install Disc 1, once you have booted from that disc.
Insert the disc into your optical drive and immediately choose "Restart" from your blue apple menu. Upon hearing the startup chord, immediately press and hold the "c" key until you see the progress indicator. First install screen is language selection, second install screen at the top of the display you see pull-downs, one of which is Utilities. Select Disk Utility, from the drives listed on the left, choose the entire internal hard drive which should be the first listed. On the right verify you're on First Aid panel, then click "Repair Disk" button and allow to run until completion. Re-run if necessary until it reports "No repairs necessary"
Quit Disk Utility, Quit installation sequence, restart to usual startup disk.
Please note that your HDD is now over 80 percent full, and many believe that beyond that point you might start to see the iMac's operating efficiency steadily deteriorate. [click the iMac G5 link, search "swap space" or "defrag"] You might want to consider adding an external firewire/usb hard drive for additional storage, but certainly get something for backing up. There is probably a little on your current HDD that you would rather not lose:) This is the time to protect yourself.

  • Wrong number of pixels on export

    Hi,
I am trialing Illustrator at present and have run into a problem. I am trying to create exact pixel output for use in an interface. In this case its a 1920*1080 pixel size. So that the size i set up in illustrator, but when i export to say a PNG or any other rastor format i have tried it actually oututs at 1940*1120. I have tried to look for a border setting, but everything i can find is set at 0.
Can anyone tell me what i am missing, and where to find the correct option, or is this a bug in illustrator.
    many thanks

    Ok
Thanks to both of you, both solutions worked.
clearly something must have been outside my artboard, and that was what was messing up the output.
    thanks again

  • How do I deal with missing pixel-widths?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. I am currently writing a GUI in swing, and I seem to be having some sort of a pixel mismatch problem. There are two verifiable symptoms so far. I have a BufferedImage that is intended to serve as a ribbon across the bottom of a larger page. I've run createGraphics() on it, and I am using that graphics object to draw hashmarks and numbers to the buffer, and thence the screen. The larger page is arranged in SpringLayout. I'm having two problems that I'm pretty sure are connected.
    - first is that the numbers that I'm drawing to the BufferedImage keep dropping pixel columns. Zeros will be drawn with the middle column gone, for example (and thus no hole). At smaller resolutions, unbolded, they can look like Cs if the drop hits the wrong spot.
    - the bottom ribbon itself goes all the way to the left edge of the page, but the numbering isn't supposed to start until a bit further in - matching up with a spring width from further up the page. The x coord used for drawing and the width spring used for layout are both drawing from the same variable, and thus should be identical, but the number and hashmark are about 4 pixels to the right of where they should be. My guess is that a detailed search would find that there are 4 columns missing between the hashmark and the edge of the screen - which would line up with the approximate frequency seen further in.
I have tried messing with (java-native) fonts and sizes, I have tried swapping back and forth on bold, and I'm pretty sure by now that it's an error somewhere in the pixel lineup. Does anyone have any idea what causes this, or how to fix it?
    Thank you for your time.
    Fibula

Hi, sounds like an interesting effect, but is rather hard for me to picture from just your description. A small compiling & runnable example demonstrating your problem would really help here. By the way, with "pages", do you mean panels?

  • SSRS 2008 R2 - Missing Data when Exporting to Excel or CSV (Row Count is 500)

    Hey Folks,
When exporting SSRS 2008 R2 report  to an csv or excel file not all the rows are being exported. Any suggestions on why this is occurring. The number of rows is less then 500 and it seems to be a pretty straight forward export. Any help is
greatly appreciated.  Inherited this and not sure if this would be configuration issues or something else. It is happening on a number of reports.
    Thanks.

    Hi Humbly,
According to your description, when you export report into CSV or Excel format, some rows are missing.
In your scenario, since you are missing data “rows” in your exported file, we are guessing if you have any visibility setting like toggle which hide those records. It’s possible that you have set toggle or visibility in your report. After exporting
Excel/CSV, some data might not appear properly. In SSRS 2008 R2, it has reported this kind of issue about data missing after exporting. However, those scenarios are not exactly same as your issue. It mostly turns out be conflict between data and “layout render”
and related to DataElementOutput property. DataElementOutput property controls export behavior, it indicates which report item data should appear in Excel/CSV render. For more information, please refer to this article: Reporting Services:
Why aren’t all my report columns exporting to CSV and/or XML?.
As we tested in our environment(SSRS 2008 R2), no matter what we export into CSV or Excel, we get same results as in BIDS . So I would like to know your report design structure. If possible, please provide some screenshots about results in BIDS and Excel/CSV
render extension results. It may help us find out the root cause of your issue. Thank you.

  • Missing text after EXPORT from PMD to PDF

    Hi,
I have a document, designed through Adobe pagemaker 70, which I would like converted to PDF. Within Adobe PageMaker 70 I performed a File-->Export-->Adobe PDF, kept all the default options and managed to generate a PDF version of the *.PMD document. However, some of the text in the PDF document is missing. I searched on the internet and discovered one can do Document-->Examine Document within Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro to display any hidden text. Doing this I was able to see the missing text.
There is an image in the source Pagemaker document, but the image is not square but cropped along it's outside edge and the text flows around the edge (hope that makes sense).  What's puzzling is that in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro the generate PDF has the image displayed in a box and some (not all) the text behind this box is shown as hidden, where as in the source document all text flowing around the image is visible.
Can anyone please help with this problem and tell me how I can get the hidden text in my PDF document to display so it's visible in an Acrobat Reader or when printed?... I am still a bit of a newbie with both Pagemaker and Acrobat so your help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sharon
PS: I have not uploaded the file but do not mind doing so if some one is able to help and requests either the source PMD file or the generated PDF file

    Hi,
The "question mark" displayed may be refereed to the missing font.

  • Missing data when exporting to "MS Word (*.doc)" and "RTF (*.rtf)"

    Hello,
We are using CR XI R2 SP3 in our product.  The reports that we generate (using ODBC dsn) show URLs from the database as hyper link text fields.  When we export the report to "Microsoft Word (.doc)" or "Rich Text Format (.rtf)" format, even though the export operation succeeds, the report is missing data when it encounters a URL that looks like following.  There is basically no data after that URL.
    http://www.xyz.com/kType=t;s.linkName=n;s.t()};s.ssl=(s.wd.location.protocol.toLowerCa
And when it encounters a URL like following, MS Word complains that the file is invalid even though the export succeeds.
    https://www.xyz.com/m));if(m%3E0&m!=e)if(parseInt(c.substring(m+1,e%3C0?c.length:e))%3Cd.get
If we export the report to pdf format, then everything works just fine.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Sumit
Try to set the URL field with the RTF format. To do this try following:
    1. Right click the field->Format Field.
    2. Click the paragraph tab->Text Interpretation->RTF Text
    Now try to export it.
    Hope this helps.

  • Characters missing in PDF export on Windows

I have a EPS logo placed in InDesign.
When I export to a PDF there are characters missing in the PDF:
When I check the PDF's fonts it lists them as using a custom encoding.
When my collegue uses the same logo in InDesign on a Mac, all the characters are included in the PDF and the fonts are listed as using ANSII encoding.
If we open the logo in Illustrator and export it as an EPS, it works properly on both platforms. However, since we typically place this type of logo via scripting, we would like to be able to either have a fix for the bug or be able to identify the what types of logo files causes this issue so can automatically check the logo before using it. Is this a known problem?

Hmm .. (HelveticaNeue was a likely candidate for the source of your problem if, and only if, the file was made on a Mac -- its system version of HN is a bit ... messed up ... by Apple.)
Just for clarity, can you check with what software this EPS was made? Open it with a regular text editor, that info should be somewhere in the first lines, usually in a line that starts with "%%Creator:".
If you drop the EPS file on Distiller, is the resulting PDF okay?

  • Missing titles on export or closing out project/reopening

in FCPX everytime we export (either with the export in FCPX or sending to compressor) or close out project and reopen project -some of our titles go missing and  show up as back as the  default title or placement of our title gets moved back to default position - any thoutghs?

I don't think any amount of reinstalling is going to help.
I & others have the same problem with titles - https://discussions.apple.com/message/16179024#16179024
At the moment I'm resorting to using Motion for titles.
Which is really a ridiculous solution, but these are serious bugs.

  • Crystal Report "some parameters are missing values" while exporting/printin

I am able to pass parameters from a JSP to a crystal report through CrystalReportViewer and view the report. (I tried doing it using the code provided on this help forum. I was getting a message: "Some Parameters are missing values". I had to add 1 line: pfield1.setReportName(""); for every parameter field. And It worked..)
Now I can see the "Print" and "Export" buttons. But when I try to print or export the report, I get the same message "Some Parameters are missing values".

  • **Missing Audio when Exporting to HD**

    Hi,
I have been trying to find a solution to missing audio for sometime and there are many discussions on this forum regarding this topic. I have an external drive and in the past I have lost audio, I guess because the event and the project were on different drives, I have resolved that. Also, the problem that I have is not related to the speed of a clip or that I have more than 10GB in my events (I don't). There have been other audio issues and I have always been able to resolve them but this one has me stumped! I thought that perhaps the graphics card was not up to the task but this has just happened and now I am confused.
I have just completed a project that was only 3 minutes long 403.5 MB. The movie was imported to iMovie from my video camera and listed as an Event, I also used movie clips and stills from iPhoto, I added titles and transitions. I then exported the movie to Media Browser (mobile size) so that I could import it into Garage Band to make an soundtrack. I then exported the soundtrack as an AAC to iTunes (as I have read that there are issues with MP3 and audio missing). I then opened iMovie and dragged the soundtrack into my project and republished the completed project to Media Browser in the HD size. No problem all works well, I was really happy! Onwards I thought and get another 2010 video finished, wrong!
On my next project I have done everything that I have described above, this time the project is only 349.8 MB (smaller). The audio on the HD size has failed. I have copied all the files onto my desktop and reimported everything. I have tried exporting using Quicktime or as a Movie but still no audio. I have found that the 'consolidate media' is grayed out when I have all my clips in the project editor, because they are all on my hard drive. As soon as I add the iTunes track that I have exported from Garageband the consolidate media option becomes available. If I select this I then get the message that the iTunes track cannot be copied as it is not on my hard drive! It is on my hard drive (I disconnected all external drives so that there would be no confusion!).
I cannot understand how the first project worked and the second smaller project failed using the same process! I thought that I would share this information with the forum in the hope that perhaps a solution can be found. I am able to publish the second project to my mobile me in the large and mobile sizes, it would be good to have the HD size for a DVD. There seems to be no logical pattern to the audio disappearing on export. Your thoughts or help would be very welcome.
    Kind regards,
    Watchthebat.

In Soundtrack if you have selected to use only channel 2 of a stereo file (right click on stereo file and select mono->channel2) you will hear channel 1 when you export. Its a massive bug.
Could that be the source of your problems? The bug can certainly create exported mixes that sound like stuff is missing.
There's a recent thread around here about this.
