Missing 10% bonus trade in credit

Just traded unity and advance warfare and realize after I had left the store that the 10% credit did not apply. The rep who assisted me has process many of my previous trade ins and is overall a great employees at the store I frequent but I guess something went wrong. Honestly, I though the credit would automatically applied once my infomarion was verified (which it was during the transactions). I seen specialist on here assit others who have had similar issues and would like the same to be done here. I'll provided any infomation necessary to help with my request.

Hello StraightUpLazy,
It’s great to hear that you’ve had a great experience when visiting our stores in the past, specifically with trading in your games! With that, I’m sorry to hear that we may have missed the mark on a recent trade-in, which sounds like it may have resulted in you not receiving your Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) 10% bonus. We always want to ensure you receive the benefits you should as a GCU member, so I’m happy to assist today!
I have some further information for you in regards to this, so I’ll be sending you a private message shortly. Please keep an eye on your inbox, which is located to the top right of the screen while logged into your account on the forums.
Thanks for posting and you’ll be hearing from me soon!

  • Missing my 10% extra bonus trade in credit yet again.

I traded in Wolfenstein: The New Order today for PS4. I was supposed to get an extra 10% bonus, but surpise..it was not added again. Every time I ask the employees to make sure my 10% is added, they give me a deer in the headlights look. It's a bit aggravating and is completely turning me off from trading in. The values are good, but it shouldn't be a hassle anytime I go to trade in. Anywhere else takes a minimum of 5 minutes. I don't know that it's ever taken less than 20 at best buy.
Can I please get my additional points added somehow? I have receipt of the trade if I need to send it over to someone.

    Hi again plus1zero,
If you're presenting your My Best Buy membership card at the time of trade-in, then it'd be difficult to determine why your GCU benefits wouldn't have been applied. I'd be glad to review your trade though and make sure you receive the proper trade-in points and credit. Please make sure to check your private messages when you get the chance.

  • Missing trade in credit - please help

I typically don't like to complain, but the bestbuy employee I had to deal with was horrible.  Simply didn't want to do his job.  I'm a very reasonable person, but again this person was a slacker.  I purchased Gamers Unlocked last night then traded 2 games in.  One associate near the tv's (where I was rang up for the subscription) said I would get the bonus trade in credit, the person at customer service (where I traded the games in) said I wouldn't.  I just paid for this service and now I was being told I wouldn't get a trade in bonus.  After being in the store over an hour of getting pushed around I decided to quit for the day.  I was also overcharged for the titanfall guide which was $17.50 when I preordered, but went down to $12.50 the day before release.  I was not charged the lower rate even though I was under the impression I would be charged the lower rate.  This associate said it should be adjusted automatically within 2 days.  I'm hoping that's the case.  Hoping someone can help at least with the missing trade in credit.

    Hey xhardwarex,
If your ordered your copy of the Titanfall strategy guide on BestBuy.com, then you should have been charged the lowest price available while your order was awaiting fulfillment. This doesn't appear to have happened with your order though, so I've sent you some information. I'll also need to gather some details regarding your trade-in to ensure you receive your GCU benefits, so please make sure to check your private messages when you have the chance to do so.

  • Another "Didn't Receive bonus 10% trade-in credit" thread

I wasn't sure if I should just pile on to another thread or start a new one.... I did my first in-store trade today and didn't receive the 10% trade-in credit.  I wasn't sure if it would be applied on the card and not show up on the receipt, but I just redeemed the card and the 10% wasn't added.  I did give the CS person my My Best Buy card and could've swore he scanned it....

    Hey again brandonjf72,
Sorry to hear your Gamers' Club Unlocked benefits might not have been added to your recent trade! As long as your My Best Buy membership information was captured during the transaction, then these bonuses should have applied automatically.
I'd be glad to see what can be done to assist you, so please make sure to check your private messages when you can. As always, you can check your PMs by signing into the forum and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  • Which one do you choose? JellyBean or trade-in credit or nothing?

I read news from Verge :
"Motorola also said that it would offer a $100 trade-in credit to those who bought a Motorola phone in 2011 (or later) that isn't eligible for the update to Jelly Bean."
    Resource :   http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/6/3298835/motorola-100-dollar-trade-in-details
Sony should the same thing. If they don't release JellyBean update for Xperia 2011 series , they should give trade-in credit like Motorola.

there are other threads on the subject

Would Sony Do like what Motorola has offered wrt JB upgrade?
why is the above message being moderated?

  • 100% bonus trade in video games, when was the last time? When will it be again?

Just curious as to when was the last time the 100% bonus trade in was offered and when it will be offered again?  Even at 50% bonus trade in, ill be somewhat satisfied.
    Thanks

    Hey OKCThunder,
We aren't able to provide info on upcoming promotional events or sales, so the best advice I can give would be to keep an eye on BestBuy.com, our weekly ad, and the My Best Buy site for future offers.

  • I did the trade in for the 6...I mailed my 4s in over 3 weeks ago and still no trade in credit...and I can't seem to get anyone at Verizon to give me an update, even telling me that they received my trade in...has anyone received their trade in credit?

Has anyone received the credit from the i6 trade in promotion?  I sent my 4s in over 3 weeks ago and I can't even reach anyone to see if it has been received and when the trade in credit would be e-mailed to me.

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us, Richard24601! Your Gift card may take 4-6 weeks after the submission of the phone.

  • I'm missing points from trade ins.

I'm missing exactly 550 points from trade ins to Bestbuy.Only 110 points of my 660 over the past three months have been credited to my account. I'm not sure how to report the missing points from trade ins. Thank you.

    Hi EM12,
Well, that's no good! Trade-in points can accrue quickly if you make frequent trades, so I can imagine why you'd be concerned.
I'll need to gather some information in order to research this situation on your behalf, so please make sure to check your private messages when you can. To check your PMs, simply sign into the forum and then click on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page. In the meantime, remember that points earned for any given trade are determined by the base value of each product -- not the grand total after any applicable promotions have been applied.

  • Bonus Trade-In Values for Games and Consoles

I saw the bonus values on Saturday but went to trade in my games on Sunday, the bonus offers expired. Does anyone know how often these bonus offers occur? Is it every couple of weeks? The bonus trade in was for 50% extra, the customer service rep said there was also 100% bonus offers but wasnt sure how often they occured. I also tried to sell my xbox 360 and ps3 but she also mentioned there will be a bonus on those as well.

I can't say how often trade bonuses occur. Sometimes the bonuses could occur for consecutive weeks or have a number of weeks in between occurrences. These bonuses start on Sunday and last for the week til Saturday.
Since the time until the next trade-in bonus is unknown, it may be possible for the trade-in values to decrease between now and later.
First, I suggest to sign up for Best Buy's Gamer's Club (the free one) if you haven't already. That way you can get more points towards a reward certificate from video game related trade-ins. 250 points can get you 5 dollars off the subtotal of a purchase.
Second, here is a disclaimer on how much to expect with bonuses. Do not assume that the base trade-in value you see during a normal week will be the same during a bonus week. MOST games tend to get their base value cut. Most of the time with games that got their value cut, you will get the same or slightly more value during a bonus week than you would a normal week. However, it may not be the same case for members of Gamer's Club Unlocked. Also remember that the points you get for trade-ins are based off the base trade-in value and not the total with bonuses.

  • Question regarding the $200 trade in credit promotion.

    Hello @Jayhrrett
    That’s a great question!
The $200 trade-in credit would be the max given. You can either receive it as an in-store credit towards a purchase or a promotion card.
For more information please visit our AT&T Buyback Program site.
    Thank you,
    Charise

Is the listed $200 credit towards a trade-in on top of the original trade in value of a phone, or the maximum amount?

  • Missing 10% GCU Trade in Bonus

I did a trade in on Sunday but they couldn't get my 10% trade in bonus to show up. They said since I received the 30% bonus that it overrode the 10%, which I know is false. If someone could help me with this, that would be great. Thanks.

    Hello viewtifulv,
Yep that's inaccurate information.  You can use the Trade-In bonus and the Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) benefits on the same transaction.  Sounds like the sales associate may have been misinformed about the process.
I'm happy to take a look at your receipt and your My Best Buy account.  I'm sending you a private message.  Make sure you’re logged in, and click on the envelope icon on the upper right-hand corner of the page to check your forum inbox.

  • Risk category field is missing in dso for 0fiar_o09 credit management.

    Hi BI Experts,
I am using the standard extractor for the credit management dso 0fiar_o09.  The field for risk category originates from our R3 system in table knkk-ctplc.  It displays correctly in the psa.  The transformation rsds 0fi_ar_9 maps it to 0risk_categ.  It appears as an infoObject in the infoSource.  The trcs transformation maps the rule also.
However, when I try to display the data in the dso, the risk category field does not display at all.
Please help with any possible suggestions to display the missing field.
    Kind regards,
    Cheryl Adamonis

I resolved this issue by removing the check in the  'attribute only' selection on the general tab of the infoObject.

  • Trade In Credit?

In July I went in to change my plan.  I cancelled a few numbers on my plan and with one in particular I asked the Representatve if they were still doing the phone buy back.  He said yes and gave me a quote for the value of my phone on the spot.  I thought about it for a minuite and decided there to turn in my Galaxy S III.  Verizon only offered #127 for it at the time BUT when asked how would I like to apply the credit he offered to have it credit to my account.  I agreed and at moment he gave me the remaining balance for the month.  To this day I still have yet to see the credit on my bill with no answers?!  This is ROBBERY!  I could have walked away and sold the phone on eBay and gotten more for the pristine condition the phone was in.
If you live in Colorado Springs DO NOT go to the Broadmoor Verizon location.  Time after time I have been disappointed.  If its not with the slow customer service response time now its robbery.  Can someone tell me how this is possible???

No. If you were selling new phones would you offer a trade in value for a phone you haven't examined?

  • Pre-ordered CoD: AW missing $10 bonus

Pre-ordered CoD online via BBY.com for in-store pickup on 11/2. Checked BBY for the pending points and it's missing the $10 pre-order bonus. It's only showing points for the purchase. Granted, I pre-ordered the day before and not weeks or months in advanced but it's still before the game was released. Any help with this would be appreciated.

    Hi y2juio,
Enuf is spot-on: you may not see records of your pre-order bonus certificate until 15-20 days after pickup or shipment. If you still haven't received it after that timeframe has passed, let us know and we'd be glad to see what can be done to assist you at that time.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, as well as for purchasing your copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with us!

  • If I purchase an iPhone 6 from Apple directly, am I still eligible for the $200 trade in credit?

I don't see anything on Trade-In Program FAQs | Verizon Wireless that says the iPhone 6 has to be specifically purchased through Verizon in order to get the credit. I preordered, but my status has been in 'Processing' mode for a week and a half now with no other information. If I knew it was coming soon, I'd just hold out. However, now I'd like to see about canceling my preorder and trying to get one from a local Apple store.

How does this trade-in promotion work?Trade-in your old iPhone and purchase a new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus with a new Verizon Edge agreement, a 2-year contract, or if you pay full retail price for a new iPhone 6 or 6 Plus between you'll receive:
A $300 Verizon Wireless Gift Card when you trade in your old iPhone 5s.
A $200 Verizon Wireless Gift Card when you trade in your old iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, or iPhone 5c.
Don't want to wait? Get INSTANT savings when you trade in at Verizon Wireless store between 9/12/14 and 9/30/14.
Once you submit your trade online, you'll receive shipping materials to return your old device back to Verizon Wireless within 7 days after receiving your new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, but no later than 12/01/14.
What are the requirements to participate in this offer? You must be purchasing either iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus on a new Verizon Edge agreement, 2-year contract, or when you pay full retail price. If you don't purchase iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you’ll receive the normal trade-in value for your device.
