Missing a lot of transitions

Hello.
I have installed the Premiere Pro CC 2014, but du only have a few transitions:
What do I have to do to get the other ones?
I guess I might be missing a lot of other stuff as well(?)

Try looking under Video Transitions instead of Video Effects/ Transitions.

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Have you created a new account or updated your existing account ? All content that you download from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so if you have created a new account then all of your existing downloads will remain tied to your old account.
If you've updated your existing account then try tapping on the id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app and log out of it and then log back in with the updated id so as to 'refresh' the account on it.

Missing a lot of phone types

Device Central seems to be missing a lot of phones. E.g.
BlackBerries, Blackjack, etc. I won't even bother to ask about the
iPhone ;). Any idea what's wrong? This limits its usefulness to me,
unfortunately. I've clicked on "check for device updates" but
nothing seemed to happen. Should I have received a dialog
box?

Adobe Device Central only provides support for Flash Lite
enabled devices, Blackberry, Blackjack, iPhone, etc do not support
Flash Lite, hence they are not included in ADC.

I, on the other hand, had no brightness issues on the 4S after upgrading to iOS 6, and no change in (good) battery life. If could be something else, an app or background process that is less efficient with iOS 6? Could be anything.

Some third party transitions also are acting like I've never registered them, but it concerns me that video transitions that are native to Adobe Premier are missing.

The toolbar is missing a LOT of features. For instance, where is th refresh button?

I can't find the refresh button on the toolbar. The new toolbar is missing a lot of buttons that I had on my previous version of Firefox.

Right-click a toolbar and select Customize
while Customize window is open.
Look to the far right end of Location (address) bar
Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar or where else you want them.
Set them as Reload|Stop to get a combined button.
If you prefer to have them separated then you can also have a flexible space in between if you want it as Reload|Stop order or set set them as Stop|Reload.
Then click Done.
No toolbar buttons are actually removed or missing as they are either on a toolbar somewhere or in Customize window.

I miss a lot of functionality

Hi everybody. I'm new to this forum. Probably this has been said before, but I just want to let know apple what I think about iCloud. If someone nows a better place or a better way, tell me, please. Anyway, I like iCloud but I will miss my iDisk whenever it will be closed. I have a link to my iDisk documents in the doc of each of my computers, so every change is reflected everywhere. The new iWork functionality is cool, but what about the other types of documents? With iDisk you could have a pdf available everywhere. You hust had to log into www.me.com and download it. I used it a lot for work, not to mention the great thing it was to send a link to someone so he/she could download a big file from your iDisk. I hope that, with the time, most of this come back, because, if not, it will be a step backwards. Thanks!

Missing ADBE GPM Video Transitions in PE v7

I recently upgraded from PE v4 to PE v7. This was a new installation on a second PC. I then copied my PE v4 projects to the second PC that has PE v7 installed.
When I open any of my PE v4 projects with PE v7, I received an error message there are missing video transitions. The five missing video transitions are:
(1) ADBE GPM PageCurlTran
(2) ADBE GPM PageRollTran
(3) ADBE GPM SphereTran
(4) ADBE GPM CenterPeelTran
(5) ADBE GPM SpiralFlipTrans
In PE v4, the 5 missing transitions were listed/grouped under the GPU Transitions category. However, in PE v7 I do not see the GPU Transitions category.
All five video transitions are shown in the PE v7 Plug-in Directory (plug-in\en_US), but for some reason they do not appear to be available in PE v7. The names listed in the plug-in directory are:
(1) TransationGPUCenterPeel
(2) TransitionGPUPageCurl
(3) TransitionGPUPageRoll
(4) TransitionGPUSphere
(5) TransitionGPUSpiralFlip
I use these transitions often in my PE v4 projects. In one case Im trying to complete the project in PE v7, but there are over 40 times I used one of the five missing video transitions that I would have to replace.
I would like to use the GPM video transitions. Can you tell me why the transitions are listed in the plug-in directory but not available within the application? How can I get these five Adobe GPM video transitions to work in PE v7?

I don't know exactly what the file (plug-in) naming conventions are, but there are file name differences between the "missing" Transitions message, and the plug-in names.
I wonder if copying the old Transition files over would be of any use. In Pro, I had to work on a very old Project (P6.5 Mac) and two Transitions also did not migrate into CS2. I had a similar Transition in CS2 and made a copy of it outside of Pro. I then copied this same Transition (with the name in the error message) back to Pro and it worked fine. It had the right "stuff," just not the name that Pro was looking for, based on the Project file. The other had nothing even close, so I just replaced it with a Cross-dissolve. My guess is that it was either a 3rd party Transition, or something that had the name changed completely over the years. Might be worth a try. I'd keep a list of exactly what was copied over to PE7, so one could go in and clean out these Transitions, either when the job was done, or if they did not work.

PS Hollywood FX Transitions will usually work in Premiere, even if they come from Pinnacle. One just has to change some file extension. Here the extensions are *probably* the same, but the names have been changed in the new version.

Resizing image miss a lot?

I limited (width x height) to (500 x 500), and size to 500kb, but the extension miss` the work a lot, I can see many (38xx x 24xx 1.5mb) images pass the limitation and the page shows allocate memory message, does anyone got same problem?

This is similar to a year-old question, as several people say that disabling browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing has no effect.

EDIT: I see that this option is "When viewing an image not in a web page", so it is not relevant to images being fitted into web page blocks.

Lion Server simply drops about half the previous functionality of the product while adding a badly designed and completely unnecessary additional administrative app. What remains is simplified in the same sense that a lobotomy "simplified" Francis Farmer.
"Where's DNS?" It's gone.
"How do I support multiple domains?" You don't.
"But I absolutely need to run multiple, differently configured websites!" Tough luck.
I can only assume this is in keeping with Apple's decision to stop building server hardware – it's abandoned IT as a market, but believes some unspecified group of people won't mind spending a small sum to play with a strangely crippled server product.
Historically, Apple's always had trouble deciding what to do with OS X Server. They've now repurposed it, but for who or what I really can't guess. It might make a cool toy for a kid interested in playing geek, but I can no more do my work with Lion Server than I can two tin cans and a string. It's abilities aren't adequate for my home, much less my work.
I'll continue to run OS X as a desktop OS – the alternatives are unacceptable – but for services, Linux is all that's left. Certainly there's now no reason to spend extra money to use Macs as servers. Without a comprehensive interface to the underlying services, a Mac server is nothing more than an overpriced Unix/Linux box.
There's lots of powerful, reasonably priced server hardware in the world, and an enormous body of open source software to run on it. The promise of OS X server was always that for a little extra money, one might avoid the learning curve of navigating and implementing so many dauntingly technical choices. That's over now, and in retrospect, I'm forced to admit that X Server never really came close to its hype – the admin apps were always incomplete, finicky, and buggy, and consequently I've always ended up doing at least half my sysadmin work at the unix level.
Whatever Apple's vision of the future, it obviously doesn't include any investment in traditional IT. They're probably right: sysadmins are expensive, outsourcing to the cloud appears cheap, and they'll get the Fortune 500 to drop Windows when they pry their cold dead fingers off of it, one chewed and broken nail at a time.
But for those of us somewhere in between, it's time to pitch this tent and find a better caravan.

Missing A LOT OF files - what to do?

I got ~2000 files missing in Lightroom when moved to another computer.
There are no ("red") Folders missing, just files - ~2000 files in
Library/Missing files and every one of it has "?" mark as well.
What can I do to automate the process of finding files in new place?
I mean, I know the place where the files moved, but it's too painful
clicking every one of 2000+ "?" marks and pointing the new place
for every file one by one and again.

I've solved it!
There was another folder with same name as an old - but with no photos in it, so it hasn't marked as RED. When I deleted this empty folder and restarted Lightroom - it became red, so it just took me 2 clicks to locate missing photos in this folder.

But I think it's bug - Lightroom should inform about such cases.
