Missing Accessibility function, because update to ios7?

Hi,
I have trouble with my iPhone 4g, or at least I think so... I have no Accessibility function on it, is it normal, or is there something wrong with my phone? I updated my iPhone to ios7 today is it possible that that update may have deleated the function?
My iPad 4 - Retina have a volume button that doesn't work, so that's accually why I'm consurned. It has the accessibility function, and I need it, because otherwise I can't play music ect. If I update my iPad to ios7 will that function disappear?
Thanks for the help
Malene

That should already be in your itunes media library.  Sync your phone to itunes.

I am trying to download a movie from itunes, but ithere's isn't enough room to download. I have a iphone4, have deleted every app possible. Slimmed down photos to hardly anything. I could never update to ios7 because of storage problems. Only 2.5 GB available out of 5GB after deleting everything. I'm also out of town and cannot connect to a computer. I have wifi access though. Help?

    Update
OK, Today I went ahead & booted & tried again & it worked this time.
Not sure why it didn't yesterday. Maybe the servers were just overloaded? Several others reported similar.
Also yesterday when I ran Speedtest it showd download at about 25 mbps, This morning just before I re-started the download it was showing just above 30 mbps.  So maybe the internet was less busy? Or at least the parts between me & the test server.
& so far it is working ok.

  • HT5624 I was prompted to update to ios7 so I did as usual. But this update has made my ipad a piece of junk. I am unable to access Siri, I can't read the faint print particularly those tiny letters on the top row which show the visited websites, etc.

I updated to iOS 7  last might after being prompted by Apple. This caused me to lose many useful features of my iPad2. First I find that Siri has disappeared. When I contacted Apple support, the guy who took my serial # and model # verified things on his end and said emphatically that I should have Siri, but could't help me find it. Another rep simply disconnected me after seeing that she was unable to help me with the problems. After wasting hours with these people and waiting several minutes for their promised supervisor to come online, I was again disconnected by them. My second major problem I wanted solved was the hard to read fine and faint print. I don't have good eyes and with iOS 7 on my iPad2 I am now unable to read the top row which has the list of websites in avery faint and fine print. I could read everything on my iPad until yesterday evening when I made the mistake of updating to iOS7. Till yesterday evening I loved my iPad but after that update to iOS 7 last night it is a piece of junk for me. Hope there is help somewhere out there to restore  Siri and other useful features of iOS 6 or get iOS6 back on my ipad So I can use it again. The chat with apple support has not helped at all as they themselves did not know that Problems like the ones I mentioned to them even existed with this iOS 7. I want my iOS 6 back!!!! CAN ANY ONE HELP !!!!! Also how can I reach anyone in Apple who is knowledgable and also has some authority to do something about it.

Outside of the contact number for that you've already used I don't know another way of direct contact. Here are some things that they may or may not of had you try that might help you. If you will go to the settings app and pick general on the right-hand side you will see accessibility. Within that you can adjust a text size make the text bowl you can also increase the contrast. You can also adjust the brightness and control panel.
As for Siri again in the settings app under general you should see Siri on the right-hand side with the switch to turn it on. If that is turned on and you're still having issues
    Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
     Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
Here is a link to their contacts with most of the information below.

After updating with ios7, I cannot proceed because I cannot enter my password since it uses Greek letters but the keyboard available is Latin. How can I change the keyboard to Greek?

try tapping holding on the key that would be most similar to the letter you want to enter, that will bring up a menu of other characters similar to that character and maybe the greek letter will be included in that menu

nowadays have many user have problem with update to ios7 and need active with apple id maybe in the future in order escape from these problems must be stop use these products else. Because of simple user don't know about this technology and sometime just hear from other user that it 's difficult to use then force they change phone that use to handle to another.

It is a feature to discourage the theft of iPhones by making them useless if resold. It's not going anywhere. It's simple: just don't buy a phone until you make sure that the activation lock has been disabled.

  • Physical Memory Access Functions with installed Security Update 5Q5FJ4QW

In my Labwindows-CVI (8.1.0) applications I use the Port-IO and Physical Memory Access Functions provided with the Utility Library to communicate directly to PCI devices. Up to now this works fine on about 50 different PCs using either only the CVI-Runtime or having different Labview or Labwindows versions installed.
Now I tried to install my software on a system with Labview 2011 installed. When starting my CVI-Program, it runs in a runtime-error and crashs. By searching in the Internet I found advices from NI about the Security Update 5Q5FJ4QW. In this paper NI wrote, that the functionallity of Physical Memory Access was eleminated with this update. The "UpdateValidator"-Software included in the NI paper showed me, that the appearence of this update is the reason for my software crash.
    Here my questions:
Is it possible to do Physical Memory Accesses in another way, even on systems with the actual Labview or Labwindows runtime installed?
Is it possible to deactivate or deinstall the function of this update or the update (for example by replacing some files)?
How can I communicate directly from my CVI program to my PCI-hardware?
Thanks in advance for any hints to get my application running again
    Willi

    Hello Willi,
    According to this Knowledgebase:
Inwieweit betrifft mich das Sicherheits-Update 5Q5FJ4QW von National Instruments (NI)? (German)
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/3D3631A092D3033C8625793600572C90?OpenDocument
The only way of running your Applications without Runtime Errors (With the Patch installed) is to run with Administrator Privileges.
So i guess it would be best to try this Solution and run your Application with Administrator Privileges and not to try to Workaround the Patch.
You should be able to eather uninstall the Patch by replacing cvintdrv.sys with the unpatched Version.
Normal Windows Patches can also be deinstalled by using System Control.
    Best Regards!

You need to enter the Apple ID and password that was used to set up/activate the phone. There is no way around this.

I've held back on updating to ios7 on my iPad because when I I updated my phone I lost everything and had to go to an apple store. Will this happen to iPad? Can anyone advise me please?

There shouldn't be any problem but, if you are worried, do a backup before the update.

  • My screen is not rotating, I would like to know if it is because of the Ios7 update or if a sensor on the hardware got screwed, I called att and they don't want to do anything exept tell me to reset everything and I already called apple and didn't help

Hello, to everyone, I'm going to get straight to the point.  I have an iPhone 5 and I got it on march, apple wont give me a new phone cause I broke the screen and I replaced it my self.  There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought, but after I updated to ios7 I have been having loads of problems.  My latest is that my screen wont rotate at all in any app or messages or pictures, you get the picture.  I was wondering if there is maybe a sensor that could be broken that I can replace or if it is defenatly the software update.  Apple told me to restore my phone to new and I did, but that is not working.  When I reset it to new, it also comes with the new software update if you know what I mean.  I can't get away from the dumb update.  Anyway my mom's phone is working perfectly and she didn't get the ios 7 update.  If anyone can help it would be apreciated.  Maybe if it is the update we can all contact apple and yell at them^.^

Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.
There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought,
And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.
    Good luck.

  • IMessage/text photos constant loading/flickering while trying to view them since updating to IOS7

Since updating to IOS7 any sent or received photos constantly try and update making it nearly impossible to see the photo.
Has anyone else had this issue or is this just a bug that hasn't been fixed yet?

    Hi,
Found a note explaining the significance of these errors.
    It says:
    "NZE-28862: SSL connection failed
Cause: This error occurred because the peer closed the connection.
Action: Enable Oracle Net tracing on both sides and examine the trace output. Contact Oracle Customer support with the trace output."

There lies the possible root of the problem. Make sure you keep enough available space for the ipad to update and function properly.

  • Update to ios7 on a Power Mac G5 Dooable?

Update to ios7 on a Power Mac G5 Dooable?

Yes.... I know....   but then I would loose the ability to back the Iphone up, coordinate calendars, offload photos, etc...   And yes... I know I can turn on Icloud and access the Icloud website...  but that is also a major change in work flow...  especially when I have 4TB of disk drive sitting right beside me....  Anyway you look at it, it is both time and money...
The big complication is that the G5 sits in the middle of a small business network.  There are several IMacs (one G5 and Core 2 Duo's) assigned to others on the network as well.  They have all been held at OSX 10.5.8 to maintain workflow consistency. Changing my workflow is one thing.  Changing the workflow of the rest of the team is another (and takes planning and training).
I have been delaying getting a new machine to replace the G5 because it still (used too) works and (at least my machine) has been reilable as you can get.  I was also planning on trading in several Iphone 4S's next month for new 5S's... But that's now going to be delayed as well.
It looks like it is finally time to bite the bullet and plan out a hardware and software and workflow upgrade.  Had planned to hold off till next spring for that(winter is our busy time).. but probably too long to wait to pull the trigger.  Will have to figure out how to back it into the budget earlier than planned...
It's a shame... because it is much more complicated than it needs to be... If Window's XP can be supported... certainly OSX 10.5.8 could have been supported as well..   But 10.5.8 users are a captured market for Apple who will eventually (be forced to...like now!) upgrade.  Window's XP users are prime new market targets to become "Switchers". When I upgrade our network, Apple's market share does not go up.  When a Window's XP user first buys a Mac... bells ring on Wall Street... So it goes....
(ps... I will still encourage all my friends on Windozzzz.. to get a Mac!)
