Missing adapters in XI

Hi friends,
I installed a new XI Server.Iam finished with all the post-installation activities too.But some of the adapters were missing thats why I seached sdn for this & I fot following steps:
1) Download XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz which is available in a zipped format from the SAP Service Market Place.
2) Unzip the contents and copy the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz (if you are using PI 7.0 or else download the file for your XI  version)
/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/
3) Goto Repository (Design)
4) Choose -> Tools -> Import Design Objects
I seached on service marketplace but was not able to locate
XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz file.
Pls do help me to locate that file
Regards,
Sunil Maurya

Hi,
Use this link and under Search term enter "SAP BASIS 7", you will get the file.
https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~form/handler?_APP=00200682500000001943&_EVENT=SEARCH&HIDE=&SEARCH_SPAT=X&SEARCH_BPAT=X&SEARCH_CD=X&SEARCH_P=X&SEARCH_PV=X&SEARCH_C=X&SEARCH_CV=X&SEARCH_TA=&SEARCH_V=&HIDE_EXPERT_SEARCH=X&SEARCH_MAX_RESULT=20
Now click on XI CONTENT SAP_BASIS 7.00 -> Database independent -> SAPBASIS13_0-20000888.ZIP Just save this file on your machine and unzip it.
Now after getting the .tpz file you can follow the above steps.

  • Missing adapters for Pavilion dm3 - windows 7 (64bit)

I tried to reload windows, and when I did, I tried to set up my internet again, but there is a missing network adapter. In device manager, there are yellow triangles next to my Ethernet controller, Network controller, and an Unknown device. How do I revive my internet?

Hi: You need these drivers... Ethernet controller: This package provides the Realtek LAN Driver that enables the Realtek NIC Chip in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. File name: sp49686.exe Network controller: This package contains the Broadcom Wireless LAN Drivers that are required to enable the integrated Broadcom Wireless LAN Adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. File name: sp49541.exe Unknown device is probably this... This package provides the HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Software (HP 3D Driveguard) for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection Software (HP 3D Driveguard) protects the hard drive by "parking the heads" if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object. File name: sp61037.exe

  • Missing Virtual Adapters on Client - reinstalling manually

I've got a client with a problem I've never encountered before.  His Win 8.1 machine seems to have 'disappeared' the virtual adapters necessary for our DirectAccess connectivity to work.
I've followed guides to reinstall the 3 missing adapters (Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-interface, IPHTTPSinterface, and Microsoft 6to4 adapter), but he never gets an IP on any of them and DA doesn't function.
I've verified that all the group policies in question are correct, and he's got IPV6 enabled on his NIC, but I'm still not seeing any IPV6 ips on the virtual interfaces.
Anyone with experience reinstalling these interfaces by hand have any advice?  Do I need to somehow bind them to the physical NIC after reinstalling them in device manager?

If you could see, DA GPOs in place, i can tell you for sure, Windows will take care of enabling or disabling those adapters when needed.
Also, as you may know, DA works ONLY when machine learns its in Internet.
Can you please confirm if you are getting NRPT ? You can get this info by tying this command from a elevated cmd.
    "netsh name show effective"
Since you have played around with Uninstalling and Re-installing Virtual adapters, honestly I do not know, how this might impact DAs natural behaviour. So in my opinion you can re-imagine the machine.
    OR
You could disjoin the machine and Re-join the machine to the domain and re-add the machine to the required groups, which might flush all settings for DA.
Please let me know, how it goes. will be more than happy to help! :)

  • What is adapter configuration in XI ?

    Dear support,
we have installed neweaver 2004 system and useing the same as XI server.
now developers while working on some html configuration and integration found
THERE IS ADAPETR CONFIGURATION PENDING FROM BASIS POINT OF VIEW.
We have done all required settings like SLD and others to be able to work on j2ee side.
i have gone through weblog  /people/venugopalarao.immadisetty/blog/2007/03/15/adapter-engine-cannot-be-found-in-integration-directory
There are two ways to check the adapter engine status in Integration Directory.
Go to integration directory to clear the cache , Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache.
First: Check the cache notification in ID , Environment menu -> Cache Notification
It should not show any error message 'Adapter Engine not found in Integration Directory'.
Second: Check whether the adapter engine is showing in communication channel level for any adapter either in sender or receiver
But still developers say they are not able to find ADAPTERS list required for their integration and still configuration of Adapters pending , can anybody let me know
what exactly as Basis person i need to do to get Adapters in place for XI system.
    Best Regards,
    AjitR

    hi Ajju,
have you followed installation document ? we should not miss any step in that.
this is common problem.follow as it says in page 46, or you can have exact service level from OSS.
"Importing the XI Content for Software Component Version SAP Basis 6.40 SR1
    1. Copy XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz from <Components DVD>/XI /XI_CONTENT to directory /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/
    2. On your SAP XI host, call transaction SXMB_IFR.
    3. Choose Repository (Design).
    4. Choose &#8594; Tools &#8594; Import Design Objects
    2. Choose the file /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_09_00.tpz
    5. Import the file.
Performing Initial Adapter Engine Cache Refresh
Perform the initial cache refresh of the Adapter Engine by executing the following URL:
    http://<host>:<Java-Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full
Where <host> is the Adapter Engine host and <Java-Port> is the HTTP port of the J2EE engine (The following naming convention applies: 5<Java_instance_number>00. 50000, for example, if your Java instance is 00).
Log on data: XIDIRUSER with password
Check that the response indicates that the cache refresh has been successfully executed."
basically you are missing basis component.you need to import that and do the <b>cache full refresh</b>.it should able to see Adapter in ID and well as list RWB->Component moni-->Adapter monitoring ,you able to see all the greyed adapters there.
and  also try searching in SDN there is lot o it about this issue(missing adapters)

  • SLD Content Maintenance

    Hi all,
we are able to see the adapters configured in our adapter engine. But we are not able to see the RFC,IDOC adapters here in SLD. The path where we verified the same is
    SLD->Administration->Content Maintenance.
Choose the subset Landscape-> Class->XI Adapter Services.
Is there any configuration to be made to get the missing adapters into SLD.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,
I think the BASIS Team has gone through or implemented this OSS note as it is mention in the blog above. However the problem still persists.

  • Physical adapters go missing after being applied to Logical Switch

I have an existing VMM 2012 environment that has been working without trouble for quite some time. We're doing a domain migration, so I created a cluster on the new domain and added it to my old VMM environment to make the transfer of guests easier.
I an having trouble with creating Virtual Switches on the two new hosts in the new cluster. Essentially, I create a new logical switch using the configuration set up for the other existing servers and add two physical adapters to it. It's configured identically
to my other two clusters. After I apply the changes, the switch is created and the NICs are teamed (verified in nic teaming console) but the physical adapters disappear both from the just-configured switch but also the hardware tab. Trying to connect a VM
to this results in "not specified" being displayed in the connectivity field (browsing yields nothing).
I'm hoping I simply missed something since it's been ages since I had to build a new cluster but a side by side comparison seems to indicate the old/new clusters are configured similarly.
    Thanks.
    Tim

why reinvent the wheel use rman deletion? Will you please clear that how RMAN will identify the applied logs?
Are you talking about archive deletion policy?
If this the solution, then this didn't work fine for me (10.2.0.4), you may check this out for 11.1.0.7.

  • Microsoft BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems Missing with BizTalk 2013

    Hi All,
I am using BizTalk 2013 and looking  for Microsoft BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems but cannot find it on Installation disk.
Do any one has idea how to go ahead with this .
    Thanks
    Abhishek

    Hi Abhishek,
As far as what we can experience, there is not standalone download for
BizTalk 2013 Adapters for Host Systems 2013. Its part of the
    Host Integration Server 2013 installtion.
    HIS 2013 installation
    document’s official
    “Existing Product Upgrade
This release supports an in-place upgrade of earlier versions of HIS. The Host Integration Server 2013 setup automatically
upgrades your existing configuration. The following releases are supported for automatic upgrade.
    Host Integration Server 2009
BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems 2.0
When you run the installation setup for
Host Integration Server 2013, we will get the information like the following. In my server I already have
BizTalk Adapters for Host Systems 2.0 (as per the requirement),
hence this installation wizard tries to upgrade it to make it compactable with 2013.
When you proceed with the installation, this will install/upgrade the BizTalk adapter to 2013.

  • List of adapters missing

    Hi all,
I dont find any adapter other than JPR in my current Adapter engine cache in RWB.
I already found a thread regarding this but no perfect solution was provided.
Now the problem I have sorted out is, as a result of the upgrade we found that there were two SWCV of SAP BASIS one for SAP BASIS 6.40 and other 7.00 were present.
Would this be the reason for the problem.
kindly give your valuable suggestions. Rewards are for sure for helpful answers.
    thanks,
    Vijay

    Hi ,
Installation of Basis components had been done and just now the upgrade went fine.
Now we find that there were two SWCV with the same name in integration repository.
one is SAP BASIS 6.40 and the other is SAP BASIS 7.00
I could not find the adapters under communication channel monitoring or component monitoring or even cache monitoring.
My question is should I delete either of these SWCV from IR to make the adapters available. To be precise, is it because of the ambiguity( availability of two adapters of all kinds) that they dont appear at all.
Hope you got my question. Thank you for the responses.
    regards
    Vijay

  • Host adapters libraries missing from the CS SDK

    Hi,
I have some extensions built with Flah Builder 4.5 and the CS Extension Builder, that I had to compile via ANT in order to port them to a continuous integration server. (Hudson)
I used the CS SDK 1.5.0. to do so, it includes all CS libraries (i.e. CSXS, CSAW...) except the host adapter libraries CSAR. (cs_host_adapter.swc and id_host_adapter.swc)
I had to extract them from the CS Extension Builder JAR files (not easy to find them...) and to add them to the CS SDK in order to compile the extensions successfully.
Is it supposed to be so, or should they be included in the CS SDK as well?
In the same fashion, my extensions also uses the Flex theme Creative_Suite_CS5 that installs with the CS Extension Builder. I also had to extract the theme file from the JARs in order to compile the extension via ANT. It would be nice if this theme was also part of the CS SDK.
Are these artifacts planned to be added to the CS SDK, or will they remain only in the CS Extension Builder?
    Thanks in advance,
    Martin Rohart

I would also like to know if there is an easier way to find these libaries.
I had to do a search through the plugins directory of my FlashBuilder!
Found them here for anyone else that needs them:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\eclipse\plugins\com.adobe.cside.libsinstaller_2.0.0.4-33034\archive\csar-1.0\release

  • How can I use PowerShell to Remove "Ghost" (Old Hidden) VMware Network Adapters in Windows 7?

We recently upgrade the virtual hardware of some of our VMware VM's running Windows 7. One side-effect is that in Windows on these machines, an instance of the NIC from the previous version of virtual hardware remains, as a hidden
device. This can be easily found manually on a machine by enabling Device manager to show hidden devices (registry and a menu option - View...Show Hidden Devices). You can then just right-click on the device in question and uninstall.
The problem here, like in so many other tasks, is that you may have multiple instances, on multiple machines. We had just that, and in scouring the internet for a PowerShell only script to resolve the issue, I could not find one. Therefore, I've written
    my own.
This exact script is only seeking out VMware "VMXNET3" nic cards, but could be easily adapted to find Ghost NIC's for a different vendor using my example. There are also some commented lines left in to aid you as an example of how you can
test the various queries in your own environment, on a test machine, before a full-blown deployment.
NOTE: Please try this out (at your own risk - I am not responsible for how this works out for you), and please vote for my answer to this dilemma if this helped you. I'd appreciate it after all of the sweat the script took to crank out.
    Thanks!
P.S. This script, of course, requires that Powershell is installed and enabled on the target computer. It then must be run as System - In our environment it is being remotely pushed through a software delivery systems, which runs this scrpt
    as system.

    Hello Octavio,
I'm having similar issues with azure VMs (windows server 2008 and 2012). I noticed that the name of the network adapter changes every time the servers are turned off and then on.
For example every time I perform that action on each VM, the network adapter became to "Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter #3" (and then #4, #5, etc).
I found in to many forums that to resolve that is needed to remove Hidden (Ghost) Network Adapters and most of the people is doing that manually from the device manager (right click on the hidden network adapter and select uninstall).
Then I found this script created by you and made some changes to find Description -like "Microsoft Hyper-V Network*".
It seems to find the adapters and also remove them (based on the script results). But if I go to the device manager after restarting the server, all hidden (ghost) adapters are still there (for example Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter
    #2, Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter #3, Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter #4, Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter #n).
The only thing I noticed after running the script is that, in the Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center, the name of the adapter has no # (Now is shown as “Ethernet” and before as “Ethernet #”)
This is my script, could you please take a look and tell me if there is something wrong o missing?

  • 'schema is missing for the component ' while creating a web service

    Hello,
I am trying to create a web service in Application Explorer on my dev server as described in:
    http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28996/config.htm#BABBJHHF
I use an adapter for JDE Edwards EnterpriseOne. After supplying the parameters (service, license, method name) I get: com.ibi.bse.AddWSWorker:java.lang.Exception: schema is missing for the component.
I think the environment (JDE system, GenJava files) is configured correctly as I am able to communicate using J2CA.
Debug mode produces ibse_log.txt with some errors (below) but this does not give me a clue to the solution. Could you point me in the right direction?

  • Satellite Pro L300: WLAN is not in device manager and is missing

    Hi,
I have a Toshiba L300 which I downgraded from Vista to WXP months ago. So I decided to stick with Vista and when I installed Vista the WLAN was missing in device manger and it didn't work. I tried downloading drivers adapters from Toshiba drivers download and still didn't work. Only my Ethernet is showing in device manager....btw I have a Realtek WLAN
Also,my VGA graphics card doesn't seem to update driver and when it does it says that the system is below minimum specs.
It's soo weird in WXP it was working fine..... Any solutions?

    >I tried downloading drivers adapters from Toshiba drivers download and still didn't work.
What does it mean exactly? Have you installed WLAN driver or not? Is WLAN card installed properly and listed in device manager as Realtek WLAN card?
    How to understand you?
Have you problems to install WLAN card or to configure WLAN connection?
If the WLAN card is installed properly enable the card with WLAN switch and then use FN+F8 key combination and be sure card is set to ON.
Which display driver you want to install? Which version?

  • ThinkPad W520: Parts Wrongly Listed in and/or Missing from Lenovo Order Status Page

I ordered a configured ThinkPad W520 off Lenovo.com for USD1500 yesterday.  Later when I went back to check my order status, to my surprise some parts were either shown up incorrectly or simply missing.
For example my ThinkPad W520 includes (but not limited to) these parts:
Parts missing from Lenovo Order Status page:
    UltraNav with TrackPoint & touchpad
Express Card Slot & 4 in 1 Card Reader
Question: Where are they? Why missing?
Parts shown incorrectly on Lenovo Order Status page:
    I've ordered: 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) LED Backlit Anti-Glare Display, Mobile Broadband Ready
Lenovo Order Status page shows: SBB 15.6FHD (1900 X 1080) LED
Question: Why 1900 instead of 1920? What gives?
To be on the safe, I tried hard to match each of the parts consisting my ThinkPad W520. So far the above are my concerns. I know many of you are long-time Lenovo patrons. I'd appreciate your patience look through the below complete lists and advise if Lenovo indeed have received my order correctly.
    Thank you very much!
