Missing administration page

I am trying to help my brother-in-law set up his router for remote administration.
It is a BEFW11S4 V.4.0. When he logs in he says there isn't an administration tab.
He lives 1000 mi away; can't go there to see it for myself.
Initially was a wireless connection; tried to get him to set up a wired connection; don't know that he suceeded;
is this the problem?

Should be able to admin wired or wireless....
provided he has internet connection you can have him setup a free http://logmein.com account, give you the details, and you can desktop shadow him.... I use this for family all the time.

CUCM 8.6.2 Web Administration Page is being blocking occasionally

Hi Everyone:
I have a little problem with the administration page of the CUCM 8.6.2.20000-2. The web page (occasionally) go to blank page (in publisher or subscriber). The only thing that I can do to restablish the service is restart by SSH the service Cisco Tomcat.
The same thing happend when I am working and suddenly I press any link or access and the page go to blank. When this situation occur, the other functions are fine, the only problem is with the web page. I have tried with different browsers like IE, Mozilla, Chrome but the result is the same. I have checked the RTMT but I can not see anything wrong.
What can it happen? Any idea? Any advice?

How often does this occur? There is an issue with Tomcat and CUCM 8.6 in regards to AXL requests:
CSCty36110 - CUCM 8.6 Tomcat OOM with "com.rsa.sslj.x.cu" suspect under high AXL Load
Description
Symptom:
Tomcat becomes unreachable or inaccessible after a number of days. So far the observed timeframe tends to be between 7 and 20 days.
If the generated hprof shows the main suspect as "com.rsa.sslj.x.cu" then this is most likely the cause.
Conditions:
This has been observed in environments where a very large number of AXL queries are done on the CUCM server.
Workaround:
Restart the Tomcat service on the CLI using "utils service restart Cisco Tomcat".
Prevent the external application from performing AXL queries. This is usually not a feasible workaround as AXL queries are a requirement for basic functionality of some applications.

Can no longer get to Cf Administrator page

All of a sudden I can no longer get to my cf administrator
page. When I
click the link, I get a brief flash showing the login screen
& page, then it
disappears as fast as it appeared. I also get the same
behavior from a
couple of other pages I usually run locally. I have been
trying various
fixes including restoring my pc back to a former point. I am
using windows
XP, running CF Mx, and using the EasyPhp package for its
mySql, Apache and
phpMyAdmin needs.
Any suggestions, help greatly appreciated.

Never did resolve this issue, anyone else with some ideas on
how to get cf
working properly again?

If the file was also on a mac, then there was a local copy of the file in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. If you use Time Machine or any other backup program on your computer, then try restoring the file(s). Similarly the same thing would be done on a PC, but I'm not sure where the icloud local copies are kept.

Administrator page will not display

Running Windows 2003 server with Sun webserver and CFMX 6.1
Upgraded to CFMX 7. Followed instructions to install in the
default directory c:\cfmx7. Next step was to open CFMX
administrator page (http:\\127.0.0.1\cfide\administrator\index.cfm)
to run the upgrade wizard. The problem is the page opens but does
not display properly. Displays in the browser as a jumble of text.
It also shows that it is opening under version 6.1.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like perhaps the web server connector for Sun
Webserver hasn't updated itself correctly?
I remember having loads of manual hacking fun with
connectors, multiple instances back with iPlanet and early versions
of SunOne webserver 6.

Well it's not like that Gramps, I am on that site, and it is very helpful. It is great, however I am having some issues with downloading the AMP stack(Apache, MySQL, and PHP). For some reason I am not able to download it like I need to. It's totally not like I'm not using your suggestion, cause I am very much. But personally I like to have more than 1 resource if I can to be able to learn as much as possible. So no disrespect bro, I am very thankful for yours, and everyone elses suggestions. I simply meant to say, if I didn't say it, that all suggested resources are welcome, cause I will utilize all that yall throw at me... No pun intended...

Yesterday,I could.Given that you have provided nothing in the way of usable information to isolate the problem I can only suggest restarting your directory server (assuming it hasn't crashed) then restarting the web-container hosting Access Manager and see if that fixes the problem.
If not, you will have to look further into the web-server logs and the directory server logs to see why the problem is occurring.

Cisco Call Manager Administration Page Drop down menu not working

I'm running the mobile app browser on my Xoom tablet and when I log into Cisco Call Manager Administration page I get the menu's but it will not pull down the options. The same issue happens in google chrome. I use your browser on my desktop and have no issues logging into Cisco Call Manager Administration page and getting the drop down menu's to appear but the mobile version of your browser is not working. Is there a work around? I tried changing the UAString to Desktop, iPad etc and the issue is still there.

Thanks but I've tried all that. It happens in Chrome also. I've tried Opera and it works on that. I've read other forums and it looks like a Java script issue that Chrome and now Firefox Mobile cannot seem to resolve. My preference is Firefox and I'm sure as more tablets get out then this will be solved at some point. I just don't know how it is prioritized. I do know that in order for Androids to be viable in the business sector they need to address issues like these with a higher priority.

People Picker in Central Administration on change Site Collection Administrator page.

We are coming to the end of our rope here.
We have a problem where the people picker is not working in Central Administration, particularly the change Site Collection administrator page. It simply does nothing but hang the page, it doesn't even give the red squigglies. The search dialogue boxes also
hangs. It works in other parts of Central Administration.
The environment has 2 domains with one way trust between them and the peoplepicker-searchadforest attribute is set.
Any suggestions?

Did this issue only happen to the "_admin/owners.aspx" page for your Central Administration site?
Please compare the peoplepicker-searchadforest attribute for your Central Administration web applicaiton with other working web application, see if they are the same ( iisreset may need for your Central Administration ).
Also check
ULS log for more related error message (also try others may like "developer dashboard"，"fiddler", ect.) recoreded when this issue occurs.

Can't Access the web administration page

Hello,
I have a new Linksys router that I installed a few months ago. I am trying to connect my PS3 using wireless. the PS3 sees the access point SSID, but keeps failing to connect. I have double/triple check the WEP2 key and it is correct. I am also having problems accessing the web administration page. I keep getting page not found. I don't think that I have access the web administration page since I set it up. I can ping the router, so I know that its up, along with getting out to the Internet, I have used NMAP and scanned the router, but only 10080 is open (PS3) port. I assume that the default URL for the web administration page is http://192.168.1.1. There is no port needed to put in the URL is there? Also, since NMAP showed no ports open does that mean that the web server in the router is not listen? If so how do I connect without having to reset the router?
I do have some Cisco Linksys app that shows a GUI of my network, but no adminisration help.

Are you able to go online on the wired computer...?
Make sure the computer is connected to the router on the Ethernet port and check the ip address first...Click Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Command Prompt...A black box will appear(Command Prompt)...In the Command Prompt window type ipconfig and press 'Enter'...Look for Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection IP Address , Subnet Mask and Default Gateway...
IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...
If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security softwares on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then,Adjust the browser settings....Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...
Now,try to open the setup page again...

Report Viewer WebPart in SPD - Missing required page header

I seem to be getting the following error when adding the Report Viewer webpart to a minimal masterpage in SPD:
Error Rendering Control - Unnamed 1 Missing Required Page Header
If I create a page through the IE browser on the SharePoint then I can add the Report Viewer webpart. However when I then go to view that page in SPD - again I get the above message.
This is truely irritating ....

Looks like a bug in sharepoint or some other design-time quirk in SPD. The code in the report viewer webpart (v11.0) that throws the exception is:

...so it appears that SPD is not fully instantiating the master page, or otherwise partially executing it. The Header property on Page should be populated with a HtmlHead instance, which is a reference to the head tag in the master page (which must have
runat=server on it.) For me, the master page is fine -- this is why it still works when adding it via the web ui directly in the browser. When it's put through the design-time grinder in SPD, this property is null. I would presume that this is either a bug
in the webpart, or a failing in SPD.
I'm running sharepoint server 2010/sp2 and SPD 2010/sp2/x86, for what it's worth.

WRV210 Administration pages not visible in Internet Explorer

I recently updated my firmware in my WRV210 router to Version 2.0.1.5 which is the most recent on Cisco's download page. After upgrading the firmware, I found that some of the administration pages do not appear to load correctly in internet explorer version 9.0.5. For example, the ADMINISTRATION -> MANAGEMENT page has data but to see the data, I have to scroll down about 3 pages. All five entries under STATUS do not have any data visible at all which is typical for most of the other administration pages. An image of the Status Router page is inserted below. I have logged in to the administration pages with an old version of Firefox 3.0.14 and the pages are visible. The operating system that I am running is Windows 7 64bit.
I haven't run across any other entries like on this or other sites. Are there any known solutions to this?

I have a WRV210 at a client site, and after upgrading to firmware 2.0.1.5 I've noticed the same behaviour. Upon inspection of the HTML I notive the right-pane-content area contains a
element right before the form begins. This tag was intended to hold a background image/style for the content area, probably white or at least some colour other than the already blue page background. It has a defined width and height of 1000px * 2622px; If I remove the and re-render the page, the form displays at the top. So it seems this was supposed to encompass the form, but instead because it self-terminates, precedes it with a vacant space 2622px high; It seems then that this is indeed a bug, in many pages.
I've also noticed that the web server on this router is annoyingly slow, though I can't remember if it's any slower than the previous firmware revision. I, like many, purchase Cisco products for the promise of higher quality, greater stability, and better support/documentation/community than other competing manufacturers. Sometimes you win....

I've done this by dragging files from my user page to her drop box. In Finder, drag the required files and hover over the hard disc icon in the navigation bar on the left. As you hover, it will open another finder window showing the contents. Work your way down these windows into <Her username | Public | Dropbox>. Drop the files into the dropbox. She can then retrieve them from her user page.

My exchange administrator page is not opening

Hi guys,
I am new to exchange server. I have installed the exchange server 2013. And i have configured it. When i was trying to open my administrator page it asks for the credentials after that there's a blank page opens. I couldn't see any options.
But if i open that with another account i could see all the options. And that's not an administrator account.
I want to resolve this problem. And i wanna why this occurs.

To understand more about the issue, I’d like to ask the following questions:
1. Is administrator page EAC or OWA ?
2. Is the page which non-admin account login EAC or OWA?
3. Is there other Exchange server in your environment?
As far as I know, we need add the suffixes about Exchange server version in the URL in a coexistence scenario:
https://CAS15-NA/ecp?ExchClientVer=15
