Missing AP Multicast Mode IP Causing 3502i AP Radio Resets?

Has anyone else experienced AP radio resets when the AP Multicast Mode IP is set 0.0.0.0 under the General Tab?
I rebuilt my lab controller and moved the management interface to a new subnet. Somehow, the AP Multicase Mode IP under the General Settings was removed. Afterwards, my AP's radios would reset every 2-3 minutes. After comparing my lab config to production, I noticed the IP was missing from that field. Setting the Multicast IP to 239.232.78.1 fixed the issue.
Can someone explain this to me?

Well was on a different code and changed the IP on my WLC and the multicast address didn't change. I did encounter it default to all zeros when I upgraded once but don't remember what code it was. The beta code I'm on doesn't allow me to change my multicast address to all zero's or else I would of tested it out.
On the code you are running, can you change it back to all zeros? If so, can you reproduce the issue?

IMAQdx timeout with JAI camera in multicast mode

We have a camera from JAI connected to a GigE card, displaying the image within a LabVIEW program, and this has run reliably for months. We would now like to record the image for short periods of time as well. We've added a second computer on the GigE network to capture and record the image stream with a dedicated piece of software. We put the JAI camera into multicast mode so that both computers receive the same image. Now, we get timeout errors in the LabVIEW program: error -1074360293 at IMAQdx Get Image.vi. Increasing the timeout length to 10s (default is 5) didn't help. Any idea why IMAQdx doesn't work in multicast, but works properly in unicast? Is there some setting I've missed?

It seems IMAQdx 3.9 added a bug that makes multicast mode not work properly (the camera is silently configured for unicast mode in certain cases -- internal CAR# 318906). Can you confirm if you are using this version or if you are using a previous version? If you are saying it works for a little bit of time but then fails I would assume it is _not_ this bug.
Do you know what type of switch you are using between the camera and the two PCs? If it is a managed switch it might be using IGMP snooping to determine which interfaces are listening to which multicast addresses. It is possible that a bug in the switch's implementation of this protocol might cause the association to drop after a while. You could possibly disable this snopping and either manually assign which multicast addresses are forwarded or have it forward to all ports.

Outlook client in different subnet unable to connect to Exchange 2010 CAS using Windows 2008 R2 NLB multicast mode

Hi all,
need urgent assistance on the following issue
this is my Exchange 2010 setup
2 x CAS/Hub servers with HP network teaming, and load balanced using Windows NLB multicast mode. There are 2 VIPs on the NLB, one for outlook anywhere, one for autodiscover
2 DNS records were created for the 2 VIPs
Clients use Outlook Anywhere (HTTPS) to connect to the CAS servers from external segment via a Palo Alto firewall, which also acts as a layer 3 router
static arp was set on the Palo Alto firewall, with both virtual MACs pointing to the primary virtual MAC used by the NLB.
Observations
1. within same segment - no issue accessing Exchange servers, even when one CAS node is offline
2. external segment (via firewall)
a. when both nodes are up
outlook client able to connect to Exchange CAS VIP on 443, but will disconnect after around 30 seconds. Client will retry and the pattern will repeat
Exchange CAS RPC logs shows client connections and disconnections to the outlook anywhere VIP address
Firewall logs shows allowed traffic from client to the VIPs
unable to complete profile creation
b. with only CAS2 (CAS1 stopped/deleted from NLB cluster)
no issues accessing Exchange servers, creating profiles etc
c. with only CAS1
same behaviour as (a)
reinstalled NLB, but doesn't resolve
deleted CAS1 from NLB cluster, and re-add. issue remain
Q1. is teaming supported? Teaming is currently set to automatic mode, instead of specified Fault Tolerant
Q2. are there additional settings we need to set or verify on the Palo Alto firewall, since the issue only happen to external segment? Thanks!

Yes - I've been scarred with this for many years :(
If it is just CAS 1 that is causing issues, then focus in on that. The support statement for Win 2008 R2 is that NLB is still a 3rd party component and support may ask for it to be disabled.

Does CAS1 and CAS2 have the same NICs (firmware as well), driver, teaming software, and teaming config?
I also want to ask what the network team did for configuring the switch ports on the servers? This will vary from vendor to vendor - did they do the same config on both?

We are experiencing a problem setting up windows load balancing with (NLB) IIS . The selected mode is multicast , however after we setup the NLB cluster IP , we cannot ping it outside the OracleVM infrastructure. This applies as well if we try to access it from another VM inside OracleVM.
We can access the private IP's however the cluster IP does not respond when the cluster is in multicast mode.
We have programmed the switches which are layer 2 for static ARP mappings on all connected ports.
Still the problem remains

I have NI-IMAQdx 3.5.0 , and I have Basler Camera (scA640-74gc) with GigE Vision Interface.
I run that camera in my computer as controller (Multicasting mode) with IP (239.192.0.1)
I detected that camera in another computer (to run it as listener) by LbVIEW .
my problem is
I run the Pylon Viewer from Basler (Monitor mode) after I detected that camera.
it was run successfully (I look to details of that camera it have same IP 239.192.0.1 and the port changed every time when i stop running in controller computer)
from where i can set fixed Port in multicasting mode??????
When I use Pylon Viewer in controlled computer and set the mode to multicast
I should set IP and port , then in listener computer I run Pylone Viewer (monitor mode) I saw same IP and same port which i set it in controller
I need a way in LabVIEW to set Port Number in multicasting mode...How I can do that

Hi Alzhrani,
Unfortunately it is a bit more complicated because you would have to use the GVCP protocol and do a register read of a specific register on the camera that stores the multicast UDP port (that IMAQdx programs from the controller). However, this likely requires access to the GigE Vision specification in order to be able to format the messages correctly.

WLC controller Ethernet Multicast Mode

When do you enable the ethernet multicast mode on controller? In my test lab, I have it disabled and I have not seen any issues so far. Thanks.

When you are supporting Wireless Applications that require MC, such as Spectralink's (ca use MC for registration as well as Push-to-Talk).
However, it is a common mistake to use the same MC group that your application uses.... Wrong! The WLC controller actually uses the configured MC group to distribute MC traffic to the joined AP's, so you really want to use a group that is not used by the actual applications.

1532E MAP disassociating - Cause=Radio reset due to configuration change.

have a1532E MAP with WLC 2504 and 7.6.100.0 that shows oddly enough "Cause=Radio reset due to configuration change" and the interface resets.
Any idea how this comes about without any changes made.
Relevant log attached.

After updating to 7.6.120 we've noticed that some of our AP's wouldn't come up. After looking in the switch's logs I found this
chassis: Ports PoE usage has exceeded threshold of 80%.
The power drawn is 117w (show power-over-ethernet).
When I use the following command: show power-over-ethernet brief I get this:

Turning off my DAQPad 6016 causes my computer to reset

When I turn off my DAQPad 6016 after a day of use it causes my computer to reset. I can only figure it is a driver issue however how can I prevent that as when I change the configuration of the 6016 I often turn it off just to be safe. Is there a patch file for this device? Does anyone else have this problem?

Sean, thanks for your reply, sorry it took me forever to get back to you but with the holidays and all its been crazy.
I am still experiencing the problem. In reply to your question I do have Ni-DAQ 7.3 installed.
When the problem happens it is after I run my VI that calls the DAQ, but the VI has been stopped. When the computer decides to reset I dont get a warning or even a blue screen it just goes back to the POST screen where it identifies my system resources as if its being turned on for the first time. It seems that the DAQ power switch acts as a reset switch on the computer would.
However I have been going back over my code and it seems I forgot to place a DAQ Stop on one diagram before I call the DAQ Clear Task so I am assuming it is not stopping first and that the clear will have no effect. I fixed my code and hopefully this will solve the problem. I will keep you posted as I will get back to using the device in the new year.

I lost my iphone 4 with ios6 and I used the tracker to see its location but after a while it went dead. Now there was 90% battery at the time of it going missing and for about 15mins I could see it moving, but then it went dead. I managed to get it into Lost Mode but I did not select the erase data option. Now I am worried that someone might be able to get at the data. I did not use a familiar passcode to lock my phone but are there tools out there that people can use to bypass the code I used. I am pretty confident I will not get this phone back but I want the data erased however I notice that the option says that it will only erase if it connects to the internet, which my phone is not doing at the moment.

well i've basically already done all of those steps, i connect the iphone, itunes says it must be restored to work properly, then in the middle of a restore is tops and a window pops up that says "an unknown error has occurred (6)" and thats where i'm stuck. also the screen thats on the iphone is the end of the USB cable that hooks into the phone with an arrow pointing to an itunes icon.

LOV icon missing in query mode

I'm using a LOV in query mode. But in Query mode the button with the 3 dots is missing. I can only enter the LOV by pressing CTRL+L. To improve the easy of use, I want to show the button in the text field (with LOV) as well. How can I realize this?

I've changed the registry.dat file which I found on the middle tier in the folder
/u01/applmgr/rooscomn/java/oracle/forms/registry/
but without the desired result. When I switch in a form to query mode, there is still no button in the textfield (3 dots).
