Missing app info

I received the NEW ipad today and I currently have the iphone 4s. I synced the ipad to my account and tranferred all my apps. However when I go into an app ie. my fitness pal...it asks me for "set up" type of info. How do I get the info already in the app to transfer between devices? I just backed up my phone with icloud..will this help?

sometimes it doesn't. I forgot to mention that if I select a different app to look at (through Apps Gone Free,or Free App a Day,etc.,that app will show up

Fully close the App Store App. Double tap your home button which will bring the most recently used apps. You'll see the app icon below and a screen shot of the open app page above. With your finger, swipe the open app page upward and the app will close. It's a good idea to regularly close apps when yout using them.
Tap your home button once to bring back your home screen.
App store should operate normally again when you open it.

I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 and cannot restore missing apps.

I upgraded my iPad 2 to the latest iOS 7 and lost several apps. Some of which I paid for, like Pages and Numbers. With that, I lost all the documents buried in iBooks, Pages, Numbers, etc.
I tried to sync with my computer, but one thing Apple does not tell you is that you must have the latest iTunes 11 to sync iOS 7 devices. I do not. I tried to up date my iTunes and learned that the operating system on my desk top does not support iTunes 11. And my desk top does not support the latest operating system. My desk top is working great and no reason to replace.
Next try was to re download the app from the App Store. iBooks was a success, everything came back, no charge. I had to pay for Pages, it appears to be an upgraded version made for iOS 7, no documents were restored. I do not see the older version available. I did not waste time and money on the rest of the missing apps.
Any suggestions.

Hi, I've attached a screen shot of my desktop. Notice the 2 ? in the dock. They should be the App Store and iMovie icons. Plus, the iTunes icon is just the generic app symbol. I upgraded to snow leopard a couple of months ago but I'm sure these apps have worked since then. I still have my iMovie files on the HDD but cannot open them because the app is missing. What's the deal anyone?

Your system specs are listed as Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.3. Is that the version of OS X your Mac is running?
What model year is your Mac, when did you buy it?
Yes if you are still running Snow Leopard the only way to reinstall any of the iLife apps is from the original System Reinstall DVDs that came with your system.
But I suspect you have more problems than just those few missing Apps. Like I said Apps don't just disappear.
In fact NO files just magically disappear from a Properly working computer. Whether it is a Mac or a Windows PC.
That just doesn't Happen.
There is always some other reason for that to happen and more than likely it is some type of hardware failure.

Can't get rid of Speedo App appearing when pressing APPs info?

When I tap the APPs icon for app info, the recently downloaded Speedo app centres, inviting me to open it but there's no indication of how to close it/make it disappear so I can't access the APP store. How do I make it go off screen & still access APP store?

Thanks but I repeatedly did exactly that, exploring all possible taps, swipes around the screen & the speedo app remained fully functional inthe middle with the App Store elusively greyed out behind. Went in & out of the screen, opening other apps then returning to the App Store icon same result. Finally shut down my ipad & just opened it this morning & now no problem. I'd really like to know how/why this happened & how I can also delete an app that does this.

If you've found them in Spotlight, where are they? (hover over the app you found in the Spotlight list to see its path in a tooltip, or click Show All, then hover over the name of the app and see the path at the bottom of the window).
Once you open that location in the Finder, you should be able to drag them back to the Applications folder.

Reinstalling missing apps question

A couple of weeks ago I had a problem as a new creative cloud subscriber which was resolved with help here:

In the process of resolution a tech support fellow in India advised me to remove everything in my iMac that was related to Adobe and start fresh. Tech support did not mention the Adobe cleaner tool that I learned about later reading posts here. So I just uninstalled all the apps that had uninstallers but with Acrobat XI Pro and Muse and maybe one or two more apps ( these did not have uninstallers) I merely dragged them into the trash.
So I was mostly successful reinstalling creative cloud apps but now my Adobe Application Manager says that Muse and Acrobat XI Pro are up to date but they are actually not installed.
How do I reinstall these missing apps and also get Adobe Application Manager in sync with my iMac ?
Thank you again for your help in advance. I am cautious about too much tinkering in these delicate realms.

I followed your instructions and a fresh list of applications appeared.
I successfully downloaded apps I did not have : Muse, Lightroom, Touch App Plugins but Acrobat XI Pro "installation failed." I tried twice.
Firefox came up and opened a file : file:////tmp/6F0641F2-9379-4BE7-AA6D-2000B4644F21/Summary.htm
Exit Code: 7
Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR:
-0 fatal error(s), 0 error(s)
Also, I have all the rest of the other Creative Cloud apps installed already. Should I leave Adobe App Manager as it is now wherein it says " install " by each of my already installed applications. Or should I close the app manager as it is?
I will leave AAM open on my desktop until I hear further.

The printer worked fine, but every time I tried installing the scanner drivers, I was foiled by the error message "missing file: info.plist..." I was reduced to scanning on my sloooow dell desktop at work. After a few rounds with epson support, they suggested I install the drivers on a different user account on my computer. Problem solved! It works, even on the original user account.

Missing types info in array manager?

I have a doubt regarding "Missing types" shown once in a while on the Array Manager in the emulator sessions.
I want to know wat exactly this means and how can we see wats missing

"Missing Types" should be a temporary state. It is the difference between webtop and emulator session counts and can occur while replication updates are being performed. If "shown once" then it is of no concern. If you see this consistently then it could mean that you have Security enabled and you need to tune the number of ttassl processes running.

Missing apps in ios6

Anyone else have missing apps since they updated to ios6?
I paid for angry bird space when it was released but since ive updated my new ipad to io6 it isnt listed in my purchases on my ipad or on purchases on my itunes on my windows pc.
Am i doing something wrong or what?

I've had my iPod touch for a few days now. Everything has seemed to sync perfectly. My bookmarks, calendars, and photos are all there. But there's a majority of my contacts who are missing their info. Even my own card is missing info from it. Can anyone help?

Hi there.
I've got the same problem. I first synced some groups but then decided to sync my entire address book. Now there are some contact with no information in them. When I complete the missing information on the iPod touch and sync back the entered info appears along the existing info in my mac's adress book.
Strange thing. I heard someone say that it might be a problem with the format of the vcards but that would be strange. Hopefully this will be solved soon.
