Missing apps in purchased section of app store

All of my apps in the purchased section on the App Store are gone ? where have they gone ? is there a way to get them back? My apps were there yesterday.

I just tried to reset and that didn't work. I did notice that when I check my iPhone the apps are showing in the purchased section of the app store, but still not on my iPad. I looked in settings and it appears to be set to the Canadian store.
I don't know what else to look for.
Will the local mac store be able to assist do you think?

Hi Becky: If you are running OS 10.6.6 or higher you should have the App store. If this is your OS, then you may need to download the Combo updater to restore the App store. See the link below. Please note it is a large file.

Missing App store from my ipad after ios5 installation

I seem to be missing my app store icon from my ipdad after upgrade to Ios5, how do I get it back. I'm unable to dowload apps directly to my iPad

Reboot and see if it comes back.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Swipe from screen to screen and look for it.
If you can find it any other way - you can reset the home screen layout and it will appear on the home screen. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. But if you do this - you will return the home screen to the exact way that it looked out of the box.

Missing App Store Entirely

I am missing the App Store on my computer. It's not in the applications folder, is not on the dock, and have searched and it doesn't pop up. I have no system updates (have tried several times). How can I fix this?

MacAppStore only comes on 10.6 after you update to 10.6 x somewhere.
All the apps are DRM protected, have to pass verification, it's a hassle.
MacUpdate.com or CNET Downloads has tons of programs, same versions on MAS, no headaches.
For MAS, you need to find or buy a $29 Snow Leoaprd disk to upgrade 10.5 to 10.6
Then install the 10.6.8 Combo Update here (better)

However if you have a PPC G4 or G5 Mac, then you can't do 10.6.
If you have a Intel Core Duo (not the Intel Core 2 Duo) you can't upgrade to OS X Lion 10.7

Elisabeth, try checking in your settings > general > restrictions > turn on "installing apps"
Same for Youtube.
The apps should reappear.

I just recently got a iPad min and let it do the update to 7.0.3 iOS and after it ran the App Store and safari icons are missing?

Safari should be in the Dock.
There's only one Safari app.

Missing app store from homescreen

I have had to restart my ipad by holding the power button down, and now the app store is no longer available on my home screen. I have searched for it everywhere, but it is nowhere to be found. This is the second time it has happened, and i don't want to have to do system restore again because i lose so much information and it takes FOREVER. I just want to know if this is suppossed to happen and i want them ( the apple people) to know how much it is ********. There are so many things wrong with the ipad, this is one i'm fed up with... Please somebody help me.

Missing App Store on iPad 2 WIFI with Update iOS 8.0.2

Hello, I've a very interesting issue which non of you have ever heard of.
I was excited about iOS 8 update since it announced and when I had a chance to hands on, I didnt think for second and made an update. Sadly each and every updates gets worsen on my iPad 2.
Currently I'm on iOS 8.0.2 which has no App Store! I mean literally. How may I update to any apps or even download any if there isn't any app store??
Also running on A5 chip with 512mb RAM, iOS makers, what have thought before making it official that iPad 2 will get iOS 8 update. My iPad is running like ****, can't do multitasking any more. FaceTime app crashes or hang while changing camera. Lots of lag. I mean at least provide a way to restore to previous OS where customer feel safe n sound.

Massively frustrating. I seem to have tried EVERYTHING in the WiFi troubleshooters, changed lots of router settings too in frustration, removed Keychain, removed FindMyipad, disabled location services wifi, disabled cellular data - all to no effect whatsoever. This is ridiculous as the iPad is unusable, having to power-off reboot every few minutes. Any web page with a video plugin kills the wifi stone dead Immediately.
ive done 2 recovery mode restores - setup as new device each time- useless.
Even tried 2 completely different routers!
All for what's pretty obviously just an IOS bug

My cousin has an iPhone 4, and her kids use it often. She noticed today that her app store is completely gone. Does anyone know how to get it back or where it could be hiding?

The App store icon can not be deleted, but it can be moved. Check all screens as well as within existing folders. If not there, go to Settings - General - Restrictions - Installing Apps.

It is not possible to delete the built in Apps such as the App Store. If it isn't hidden by restrictions, it is on the iPad.

Lost my iPhone 5S icons for App Store and iTunes Store

I was syncing my iPhone 5S to iTunes on my laptop when I noticed that suddenly two important icons were missing from my iPhone's Home Page: the App Store icon as well as the iTunes Store icon. I need them back but don't know what to do. I've tried powering down my phone for two minutes then turning back on, no luck. I have no idea how to get these icons back. When I click on a link that is supposed to take me to either place, nothing happens. Please help!

I am a new user of iphone 4...i've accidentally deleted the app store from the iphone...pls tell me how to retrieve it back...pls help...tq

To restore the missing App Store Icon, or other original Apple Icons on the iPhone, go to Settings / General / Reset (Don't worry, you will be presented with a number of options concerning resetting before anything happens. The iPhone will NOT reset just by selecting this option).
Choose "Reset Home Screen Layout". This will restore the App Store Icon as well as other Apple Icons you may have removed or placed into folders.
Please note. This also removes any folders you have set up and rearranges all of the apps you have, so it takes awhile to put everything back where it was.
Unfortunately, I did not capture the placement of my Icons, so I had to recreate from memory...not that big a deal. If you elect to follow this procedure, make a note of where all of your icons are placed and then proceed.
I followed links that talked about restoring through iTunes...never could make anything like that work. This is a quick and simple fix.

For the missing App Store issue, if you swiped fro screen to screen to look in other folders and didn't find it, and did a spotlight search to see which folder it is in and had no success with that, Check Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you didn't disable it.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
For the syncing issue, which screen does not react, the computer and iTunes or the iPad?

Uh-oh. Sounds like we need to get on the job and solve the case of the missing app store icon. With that said, I've got you covered.
Right off the bat, there are a couple of different ways we can do this. First, let's start things off simple. Go to settings > general > restrictions. If restrictions are enabled, toggle "Installing Apps" back on. Did the app store reappear? If not, no worries. Next, go to settings > general > reset > reset home screen layout. How did thing work out this time? Hopefully well. If neither of these steps worked, please let me know when the icon first disappeared and if it coincided with any changes. I look forward to it!
