Missing Bonus Points on the "$25 Smartphone Reward Certificate Promotion 5/30/15–7/4/15"

If you purchased a smartphone while the now expired promotional offer was valid, then a $25 bonus certificate or 1,250 bonus points should have posted to your My Best Buy account within 20 days.  I have been asking members who believe they qualified for the bonus offer and have not received the bonus points within 20 days to send me a private message, and from what I can see, you have sent me a private message.  I will read your private message and follow up with you as soon as I have the opportunity to do so.  To check your private messages, you will want to click on the yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.

  • Regarding the Titanfall $10 reward certificates preorder bonus

    I just recieved an email from Best Buy about Titanfall, advertising that "...MyBestBuy customers get $10 in reward certificates when you pre-order and purchase..." the game. I'm interested in getting the PC version, and looking through the terms in the email and the preorder page that was linked inside of it, I'm not seeing anything stating that this is only available for the console versions. Is this different from the standard $10 reward certificate bonus and PC preorders are eligible, or are we being left out in the cold again on this one?

    The email you received would pertain to the current "Get $10" pre-order offer and not a different offer. To qualify for the 500 bonus points, you would need to pre-order an Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, or PS4 version of Titanfall.  The PC version would not qualify for the bonus points.

  • Not able to get RZ points for the Good Maintenance Reward.....

    Tried geek squad support they are telling me the promotion no longer exists. They also said the only eligible amount is the phone purchase with the first payment of the plan. I would say the eligible amount is the entire cost of the plan. 14.99 x 24 months. Any thoughts?

    The Good Maintenance Reward is no longer offered with the purchase of a Geek Squad Protection plan; however, it is a benefit we should still be able to honor as long as the protection plan in-question was eligible and qualifies.  A standard protection plan would need to have been purchased between 9/14/2008 - 7/14/2012 to be eligible and the plan could not have been utilized for any services to be eligible.  If both of those terms are met, then a request for the benefit would need to be made within 90 days of the plan officially expiring.
    Based on the information you provided in your post, it appears the protection plan in-question may have been a monthly plan, possibly for a mobile phone.  Is that correct?  If so, then it would not be eligible for the Good Maintenance Reward because mobile plans were not included.  The protection plan would need to have been paid in full at the time of purchase.

  • Missing bonus points for South Park?

    94 points was added to my pending points...I thought 500 was going to be pending? Do I get both the 94 points and a 10 dollar certificate? I talked to someone yesterday, THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT. I called the elite hotline today, the person said they were gonna check up on me, but never came back to the phone and the call ended.
    I am getting tired of bestbuy's customer service. Can you tell me how this 10 dollar promo works? I saw a post about the titanfall console bundle, how a rep said they would receive the 10 dollars and the points for the console. If I get a 10 dollar certificate and the 94 points, thats awesome. I just want somoene to clarify. I want to use this certificate towards infamous second son.

    Thank you for pre-ordering South Park: The Stick of Truth from Best Buy.  I can answer your question today.
    For the Get $10 promotion points will post to a customer's account in about 20 days after the purchase.  While it is common for these points to appear as pending on a My Best Buy account, they may not.
    If for any reason an account holder does not see their eligible points post after the standard time, he or she can reach out to us here and we will be happy to check on that with them.

  • Bonus points from first credit card purchase.

    I was wondering if I needed to do anything special to get my extra 5% bonus points  from the first purchase on credit card.  We are expecting an additional 8,099 points.   We purchased an "open box" tv, but had to return and purchase a new tv as most of parts were missing on first tv.  The saleman said both receipts would be used, since the return was a store issue.

    Welcome to the Best Buy forum, and thank you for posting.
    As long as the offer terms were met, the additional 5% back in points should have posted to your My Best Buy™ account within about 20 days.  A return and repurchase could potentially prevent those points from posting because the repurchase is obviously not the first purchase, which is what is required to qualify for the full 10% back in points.  While the store associate may have said both receipts should work, the store has absolutely no say in how points are awarded.
    After looking over your account, it looks like the store processed the second transaction as an exchange and not a repurchase.  That would leave me to believe that your original purchase should still be eligible for the full 10%, but you have two My Best Buy™ accounts.  Anytime that a new Best Buy credit card or MasterCard account is opened a new My Best Buy™ account is opened, and the TV you purchased was applied to an existing account rather than the new account that is tied to your new credit card.
    I would suggest that we look into potentially merging the two accounts, which should not be an issue if they share the same information (name, phone #, mailing address).  To gather some additional information from you and further discuss a potential merge, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages by logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.

  • Missing Reward Certificate

    Hello,
    I preorderd Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and did an in-store pick up. The points for the purchase have already posted and there is no mention whatsoever of the $10 in reward certificates for preordering the game. I was just wondering if that was usual since the regular points for the purchase have already been added.
    Thanks for looking into this and I look forward to purchasing more games from Best Buy this holiday season.

    Batman1982 is spot-on here: it can take 15-20 days from the time of pickup or shipment for pre-order bonus certificates to post. The associated points may also never appear as pending, and instead simply be listed on/around the original order date after that timeframe has passed. If you still haven't received your bonus certificate beyond that 15-20 day window, let us know and we'd be glad to look into the situation on your behalf at that time.

  • How can I connect dots across missing data points in a line chart?

    Hi all!
    I have a table in Numbers that I update every few days with a new value for the current date (in this case body metrics like weight, etc.), which looks something like this:
    Column 1              Column 2      Column 3
    Aug 16, 2011         87.1             15.4
    Aug 17, 2011         86.6
    Aug 18, 2011         86.1
    Aug 19, 2011              
    Aug 20, 2011         85.7             14.6
    Aug 21, 2011         85.3
    Every once in a while there will be a missing value for a given date (because I didn't take a reading on that day). When I plot each column against the date on a line chart, there is a gap where there are missing data points. The line does not connect "across" missing data points. Is there a way to make the line connect across missing data points?

    These ones are able to do the trick.
    Of course to do that you must study a bit of Numbers User Guide.
    In column D of the Main table, the formula is :
    =IF(ISBLANK($B),99999,ROW())
    In column E of the Main table, the formula is :
    =IF(ISBLANK($C),99999,ROW())
    Now I describe the table charter.
    In column A, the formula is :
    =IFERROR(DAY(OFFSET(Main :: $A$1,SMALL(Main :: $D,ROW())-1,0)),"")
    In column B,the formula is :
    =IFERROR(OFFSET(Main :: $A$1,SMALL(Main :: $D,ROW())-1,1),"")
    In column C, the formula is :
    =IFERROR(DAY(OFFSET(Main :: $A$1,SMALL(Main :: $E,ROW())-1,0)),"")
    In column D, the formula is :
    =IFERROR(OFFSET(Main :: $A$1,SMALL(Main :: $E,ROW())-1,2),"")
    In this table, select the range A1 … D5
    and ask for a Scatter chart.
    You will get what you need.
    I asked that points are joined by curves
    I just edited the parameters of Xaxis and Yaxis to get a cleaner look.
    I repeat one more time that knowing what is written in the User Guides is useful to be able to solve problems with no obvious answer.

  • Missing Rewards Certificate

    So, recently, I garnered enough points to earn me a rewards certificate and today, they were automatically deducted from my account.
    However, when I look at "My Rewards Certificates" on my account, I don't have any and now those points are gone.
    Can anyone help me with this?
    Also, as a side note, I got GCU on November 6th, but never got my Welcome Coupons. Is there a way I can get those? They're e-mailed to me, right? Never got said e-mail.

    In most situations, a certificate will be visible within a minute or so of the points be converted; however, there are occasions where it may take a little longer, but it should not take more than 24 hours.  I looked over your My Best Buy account and the $5 certificate that was issued yesterday should be visible now.
    As far as the Welcome Packet, you should have received an email with a digital Welcome Packet about 1 to 2 business days after becoming an Unlocked member.  I would suggest double checking your spam/junk folder for the Welcome Packet, as the email has been known to get sorted into one of those folders.
    I want to ensure that you can access your $5 certificate and that you do have the Welcome Packet, so I will be sending you a private message.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope icon at the top of the page.

  • Didn't receive $10 reward certificat​e promotion for Elder Scrolls for the Xbox One

    One of the reasons I preordered Elder Scrolls Online for the Xbox One was the $10 reward certificate promotion that was going on. It has been over a week since I picked up the game, and I still haven't received the promotion, but my points issued for the game. Can you please check in to this and issue me the promotion? I was trying to use the promotion to make a purchase, but if I can't get it soon then I'll likely make my purchase from Amazon. Thanks in advance.

  • Not receiving reward certificates in email

    Hello
    on 11/17/14 my reward point history shows a $15 reward certificate was issued but I've checked all my email and I don't see a single email from Best Buy regarding that.  Are they snail mailed or emailed?  How do I get that certificate I earned?  Thanks for your help and Happy Thanksgiving?

    All certificates are to be delivered via email; however, it depends on if your email address is up-to-date whether or not you actually receive the email.  I would encourage you to double check your email accounts spam/junk or promotions folder because the certificate may have been sorted into one of those folders.
    You should also be able to view your certificate by logging into your My Best Buy™ account on BestBuy.com. To ensure that you are able access your $15 certificate, I will be sending you a private message.  You can check your private messages logging into the forum and clicking on the little yellow envelope located at the top of the page.

  • Pre-order using Reward Certificates question

    Background information:Back on June 25th I pre-ordered Fallout 4 and paid in full for the entire game (not just a down payment).  To pay for the order, I cashed in some Reward Points to make a $40 Reward Certificate and paid the remainder on my credit card.  All good, and I'm set for my Fallout 4 addiction... I think....  Yesterday I got an email from Best Buy reminding me to USE my $40 Reward Certificate before it expires (which is 10 days away).  Does this mean the $40 Reward Certificate has NOT actually been used, and could in fact EXPIRE while waiting for the game to come out, AND that I could show up on release day and find out I had LOST that $40 Reward Certificate, AND have to pay $40 more out of my pocket for the game?   That would make me a VERY unhappy camper....  Looking for verification of how this works, and reassurance that it WILL work now that Best Buy is acting like the Reward Certificate I used is about to expire. Danny

    I called Verizon Wireless and they gave me the number: 1-866-962-3713 -- which asks if you're calling about the 1GB rewards offer - if you select this option it says "We are aware of customers having problems with this offer and hope to have it resolved soon. Please check back again." So, will try again in a few days.
    The original technical support rep I spoke to from the main line was incredibly helpful (helped me find the 866 number above). A+.

    I still have not received my $25 certificate for buying an iPhone during the promotion period. I bought an iPhone at Best Buy on 6/20 and switched from AT&T to Sprint. After travelling all over town and experiencing coverage issues, I decided to switch back to AT&T. I visited a different Best Buy location the same day (6/20) and exchanged/returned my Sprint iPhone so I could reactivate my AT&T account. Could this have caused a problem with the $25 Rewards applying to my account?

    The promotion in-question is a great way to earn some extra points, especially if you are in the market for a new smartphone.  We have had similar My Best Buy promotions in the past that offered bonus certificates or points with the purchase of an eligible smartphone.  Let me see what I can do to help answer any questions you may have.
    1.  A smartphone would basically be classified as any mobile phone that has an advanced operating system.  They would have a touchscreen, ability to run apps, email, GPS, etc.  For example, an iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 would be considered a smartphone.  You can look over the smartphones that are eligible for the current bonus offer here.
    2.  You would only need to enter your My Best Buy account ID number during the BestBuy.com checkout process if your accounts (My Best Buy and BestBuy.com) are not linked or if you are checking out as a guest.  Otherwise, your My Best Buy account should automatically attach to any orders you place after logging into BestBuy.com.
    It can usually take up to 20 days for points to post to a member's My Best Buy account, including bonus points.  With that being said, you may not see the point value for the $25 bonus certificate (1,250 points = $25) post to your account right away if you do purchase an eligible smartphone.  I have provided a few links below that should help answer any other questions you may have; however, please feel free to send me a private message if you have other questions and I will see what I can do further assist.

  • Missing 25% bonus points

    Looking back at all my previous purchases, it seems I haven't been getting the 25% bonus points on any of my purchases. I've also noticed that sometimes my purchase history says reward zone card and sometimes it says reward zone elite plus.

    As an Elite Plus member, you can earn 1.25 points for every $1 spent on qualifying Best Buy purchases.  Those bonus points may not post to your My Best Buy™ account though until after a full 20 days.  I looked over your account history using the email address you registered with the forum, and from what I can see, all of your recent purchases have been awarded the 25% bonus.  Do you see any specific purchase where it looks like the bonus points were not awarded?  If so, please send that information to me in a private message, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will take a closer look.

  • Missing 2X points bonus from Gamers Club

    Hi,
    I recently purchased some games in-store and online and I don't see the double points for being a Gamers Club Free member.  This has happened to EVERY transaction I have for games.  Am I doing something wrong?  So far, I am still missing the last 2 transaction for double points for Gamers club on 1/4 and 1/6.  I'm tired of emailing best buy every time I buy a new game to get the bonus points.

    Thank you for purchasing your games from Best Buy, and thank you for being a My Best Buy Gamers Club member.  We appreciate your loyalty, and it is not our desire to make your experience a cumbersome one.
    As long as your My Best Buy account is linked to your online orders, and you attach your My Best Buy account to purchases in-store, even when using your My Best Buy Credit Card, then you should see all eligible bonuses post.
    In some cases bonus points take longer to post than standard points, and may take a full 20 days, even if standard points or in some cases different promotional points have already posted.
    As 20 days from 1/4 would be this Friday, please allow the full amount of time to pass for each transaction to see if the points post as intended.
    If they do not, please send me a private message on Monday and I will be happy to review your account balance with you at that time.
