Missing Button

I have just bought Photoshop elements 7 and am learning how to use it.
I wanted to make a photobook to order online, I made the book no problems, but I cannot order it, as the ORDER button is not showing. Where the button should be next to the print button,no ORDER button??? Anyone else had this problem or know why this happens?

I am in the UK and I cant see that button as well.
The related site is ofoto.com which is kodak and has got UK division ofoto.co.uk but i canot use the the service. Is ther other way to order photo book made in PSE7?

If you mean the drop marker then you can still get the History of the Back and Forward buttons if any by either Left-Click and hold for a second or by Right-Clicking them.
If you still want the drop mark there also then there is this Extension at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker/

Missing buttons at bottom of Audio window in Captivate v6. Can't save or close files .

Missing buttons at bottom of Audio window in Captivate v6. Can't save or close files .Buttons also missing in Edit mode.
Any thoughts as to might of happened? I'm using Captivate 6.0.0.199. Until a week ago this functionality was working fine.

Captivate 6.0.0.199 had several issues. Upgrade to 6.0.1.240 from here and check.

Missing Buttons in Site Settings?

Is anyone else having problems with missing buttons and other interface items in the site setup menu? I've got CS6 for mac via creative cloud.
If I hover over where they should be, they appear until I leave the screen. It's not shutting me down, but it's a little weird...

I am having the same problems as listed above, and all my software is up-to-date.
My Hardware/Software specs are as follows:
Mac Pro
Processor: 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory: 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB
Software: OS X 10.8.2 (12C60)
Dreamweaver CS6 v 12.0
I tried switching my web browser to Firefox, as Safari was causing problems with dialoge boxes in Photoshop CS6, but that didn't solve the problem with Dreamweaver.

Remote Assistance missing buttons

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question. I couldn't find anything related specifically to Remote Assitance. I'm running into a strange issue where the Remote Assistance window is missing buttons. For example, when
launching Remote Assistance with the /offerra switch, the Next and Cancel buttons are just simply gone:
The server I'm launching this on is running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Citrix XenApp 6.5 installed. This issue happens to the published app in Citrix as well as launching it on the server via RDP and via the Console. This was not an issue
until I installed Windows Updates back on 11/9. I removed all of the updates that were installed that day and it still results in the same. I uninstalled/reinstalled the Remote Assistance feature and that has done nothing. I've also tried
multiple accounts and using an account with a brand new profile - in case it was just a strange profile issue.
Any ideas??

I just had the same issue but only on one server using local profiles... I created a local admin account and it worked under that account. Deleting and recreating my profile on the offending server has resolved the issue, although it was a headache
getting a new profile:
- deleted profile using local admin account (got an error about priviledges held by client)
- manually deleted C:\users folder and profile SID key (and .bak key) from 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList'
- after that logging on gave error 'Profile Service failed' then logged off
- manually created C:\users folder and the SID key again under above location, then I logged on successfully with a new profile and the buttons appear again in RA
There seem to be many people with this problem and several possible resolutions. See
http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=263507&tstart=0&start=60 for some other options. One says to copy the msra.exe from a Win7 machine, maybe that will work?

So, first of all, so sorry for my english, my first lenguage is spanish so you'll find a lot of non-scense sentences and also, grammatical errors.
Here's the thing. I was making and editing a gif, following all the steps from a tutorial, and one of them is about how to "sharpen" the screencaps without sharpening every single one of the frames and layers. It seems that all the photoshop versions have on their animation window, this button
But I don't have it. This how it looks my photoshop:
I use to have before I dowloaded the english version of cs6, the spanish version, and it doesn't have that button either (I think)
The question is, is there a problem with my version of cs6? How can I fix this?

The missing button (and command in Timeline panel menu) has been reported in this forum numerous times. I am unaware of an explanation ever being provided, apart from some beta versions of CS6 lacking the feature. Someone reported that uninstalling and re-installing CS6 had magically provided the initially missing button to them.

Does apple replace iphone for missing buttons??

I was wondering, my friends iPhone 3gs his volume control button fell off and he is still under the apple care plan does apple replace the phone for missing buttons? other than that the phone is in pretty good condition as far as i can tell...

If Apple determines the missing buttons are not due to abuse, it will be replaced if still under warranty.

Missing buttons in CRM Portal but visible in PCUI

In many portal iviews, buttons (New, Delete, Save...) are missing but I can see them in PCUI. Does anyone have any idea what I may be missing?
For example: in Process Inventory List (Channel Inventory and Claims), all the buttons (New, Copy,Delete,Save,Validate,Release,Logs, Cancel,Display ) are missing in Portal but are visible in PCUI.

I guess this problem is coming because the page assigned to the EP role for the user id you are using is using different BL View than the one for which you have made the configurations in PCUI.
Ex: The Opportunities page assigned to the EP Role might be using NAV_MAN BLView, where as all you configurations have been made for the Blank BLView.

CS4 - Missing buttons in dialog when saving as pdf

Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this problem, or perhaps it's just an issue with my installation. I get occassional strange issues when saving as pdf, though i think it happens in other cases too. In the dialog (after choosing the file name and clicking save), some of the buttons are missing (see attached file). The title bar is also sometimes missing the title, but in the attached file it isn't. Alt-tab functionality in windows is impaired when this is happening, I can't launch ctrl-alt-del, etc. Lots and lots of strange issues until i manage to kill illustrator and start again.
This doesn't only happen when i'm trying to save as pdf - sometimes it happens upon launch of illustrator.
anyone else have these crazy issues, or just me?

Thanks for your reply. I actually don't think the problem has anything to do with actually saving as a pdf per se, since it happens in other situations too. You'll notice that the Save buttons at the bottom were missing in the first image i posted. I'm posting another image of how the dialog *should* look.
Remember, there are also a myriad of other problems that come along when this happens, indicating a bad interaction with Windows somehow. Alt-tab functionality is messed up, i can't use ctrl-alt-del, i can't close the program, etc.

Read Mode missing buttons

As of this morning i'm missing the page number and up and down arrows in the tranluscent hovering Read Mode when viewing PDF's in a browser
i have checked/done the following
I clicked on the Show Reader toolbar (icon
on the very right) and then right clicked on the toolbar and selected Reset
toolbars.
Same as above but instead went to Page
Navigation and then chose Reset Page Navigation Tools

I do not think this is Security Related at all.
Some Software Components (probably the GUI) are not installed on your machine Properly. Please reinstall the FULL SAPGUI. If this does not help also see if any SAP SCM-APO Patches are Incorrectly Installed. In this case you have to check with the Basis Person on the team and together if you cannot figure please raise an OSS to SAP.

IPad calendar missing "+" button to add appointments.

I have a friend who just got a new iPad 2 but it doesn't have the "+" button in which to add appointments with. Is there something in the settings that needs to be turned on?

I have no clue what that means in this instance. I can select any day and still add an event - I can go back to August and add an event and the + sign still appears in the app .... But maybe I am missing something .....
@EDL2 try these simple things - none of which would I hold out hope for - but try them anyway. My reason for doubt is that a number of users have reported the missing + sign in the calendars app and I have not seen a fix yet.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Quit the calendars app and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
The last thing you can try - if you are using iCloud- go to iCloud.com and sign in. Select the calendar and try to add an event there. You must do this on a computer, BTW, not on the iPad. Then go to the iPad and see if the button appears.

Since I got my iMac I am missing the "Download Photos" button from my favourite forum website so I can't upload photos to it. I have the same problem with both the Safari and Firefox browsers. Does any one know what the problem is and how to fix it please?

Help with missing buttons

Upgraded to version 32. I'm missing the 3 dot menu button, but do have hardware menu button. When I press on hardware menu, I do NOT have an option to go to tools. It doesn't look the picture they show when I searched for help. As a matter of fact, when pressing menu, it looks like the old version I had. did something not update properly, or could the new version not be compatible with HTC inspire? is appreciate any help thanks so much

You need to reinstall Firefox from Play Store , Enable Sync first then wait for sync to finish synching then uninstall and reinstall
Please note : uninstalling without sync enabled will cause to loss all your data including form data,passwords, usernames,history and bookmarks

Straightening a photo and missing buttons

I have a few crooked photos that need straightening. In "iPhoto Help" I'm told to "click the edit button" and then:
"Click the Adjust button (shown below)".
I don't have an "Adjust button". There is even a picture of it in "Help" with its location, but I don't have it.
Do I have a help version that is different from my iPhoto version? (Help Viewer is 2.0.7, iPhoto is 4.0.3).
Or am I missing something very basic?

You must be looking at the help file for Version 5. iPhoto 5 has the adjust button and capability that you're referring to. Without V5 you'll need a 3rd party application to do what you want. Go to VersionTracker.com and do a search for "image edit". You'll get a lot of potential candidates. If you anticipate doing or would like to do a lot of editing in the future, not just straightening but more complex editing, I strongly suggest you look into Photoshop Elements 3. You can use it in conjunction with iPhoto as the editor of choice when you double click on an image (any 3rd party editor can be used that way). Good luck.

Adjusting layout on missing Button

Hi,
I am using ApplicationControlBar with a bunch of buttons.
Depending on some external conditions (app state), it should make some buttons invisible,
change their labels, etc.
When these buttons become invisible look like someone with missing teeth. :-(
Is there a way to adjust other buttons positions so that it looks like one flow without any gaps ?
HBox or HGroup doesn't seem to solve that problem,
at least I didn't find how.
Please advise.

Oh, I dunno, things that animate with a little extra flair do catch peoples' eyes.
Since it looks like the light across the top is from an illumination source just above the button, nearly on the plane of the display, maybe the light should move down the button just slightly. Do this by raising the light angle of the bevel and emboss a few degrees.
Make a drop shadow under both pushed and unpushed versions, but make the shadow less distant on the pushed version.
Bevel and emboss your text as well, so it looks engraved into the button.
Since it's gelatinous looking maybe it isn't hard candy but should distort (squish in) a tiny bit when pressed (e.g., spherize or liquify filter it to slightly distort its shape)? Think "Dr. Scholl's Inserts" comfort while pushing THIS button. I'm not sure about this last suggestion, though. Distortion in just the right way may be difficult and may make the text softer.

Model 2, more squishy
Model 3, More rounded, bevel higher to start with, then reducing the bevel size slightly to make the button seem a little flatter when pressed. Enhancements to text also.
