Missing cap, number and scroll indicator on monitor

Help does anyone know how to get the Caps, number and scroll locks display back on to my monitor as for some reason it has disappeared and is a pain as I am not aware whether any have been selected. My computer is HP P6675UK AND RUNS ON WINDOWS 7 aPPRECIATE ANY HELP THANKS

Pavilion dv4-1275mx notebook - once-flashing leds @ caps lock and scroll keys @ start-up

My HP Pavilion dv4-1275mx notebook runs Windows Vista Home Premium service pack 1 for 64x-based systems.
Recently, when I turn it on, the led lights @ the caps lock and scroll keys repeatedly flash once.
I'm not sure what, if anything, happened prior to this starting. It's possible that there was a power surge when it was shut off, or it may be related to doing a McAfee virus scan or installing the latest version of a software, e.g., Adobe Reader.
I was able to use my System Recovery disks to reinstall the Vista software, thinking this might "kickstart" my computer into working, e.g., as part of the restart process. After the reinstallation, I was able to use my computer, although the led lights continued to flash. However, once I shut down my computer, I have been unable to restart it. The leds continue to flash upon start-up, and I have not been successful in again reinstalling the Vista software. (I thought if could get my computer to work again that way, it might stay accessible if I used hiberate mode instead of shutting it down.)
The computer's about 4-1/2 years old. The screen has a short of some kind (only turning on when the screen is low to the keyboard, so I use an external monitor.

CAPS Lock and Scroll Lock blinking / Display is Black

Hi,
I am using DV5 with processor AMD Turion X2 RM70. CAPS Lock and Scroll Lock blinking once every 4 secs.
Is it Blink Code Error? Is my CPU dead? Should i take to service centre(No Warranty)? If CPU failure, how much the CPU costs?

Quick flash of the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll lock, and keyboard freezes temporarily

I have experienced a Quick flash of the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll lock, and keyboard freezes temporarily. This occurs a few times a day. When the Num Lock, Caps Lock and Scroll lock flash i cant typ for a second the keyboard doesnt register the strokes. Is thsi just a hardware clitch or coudl I have a virus? What is teh solution?

CAT2 Header missing Personnel Number and CC since EHP4 upgrade

Before upgrade, We had Personnel Number, Name and CC as part of the header, along with Entry Period and Week.
Since EHP4 upgrade the Personnel Number and Employee Default CC are missing in the header.
How do I get them to display again?

Odd even number and Boolean indicator

Hi all,
For example, I have these numbers from 0 to 112233. It will start counting from 0 and shown it on an output indicator. When it is even number (0,2 or 4,...) the Boolean indicator will become false, but when it is odd number (1,3 or,...) the Boolean indicator will become true.
I'd like to ask if it is possible to detect the values changing in output indicator when it start counting numbers from 0, and then the Boolean indicator will become false or true depending on even or odd number shown on an output indicator? How can I do that?

Yes, both are "fast enough" for all practical purpose. Even thought they are nealy identical in speed, the Q&R shows more variability in execution time (10% variability), while the AND is singificantly more stable (>1% variability).
(Make sure you disable debugging for a 10x speedup overall)
It also seems that the AND code folds better. If we change the control to a diagram constant, the AND version speeds up by a factor of two, even though no folding is shown anywhere inside the sequence structure. I have no idea what that means.

Caps lock and Scroll lock blink continuously without stopping

HP Pavilion Dv5 1004nr entertainment notebook. Caps lock & scroll lock blink continuously. Power light is on. Power light does not flash. Fan and drive start upon powering up. Held down 4 arrow keys during power up, but does not solve problem. Removed all external devices and removed battery. Same problem. Please help.

Urgh, appears to be bad RAM... Running memtest and switching sticks in and out only shows errors with one particular RAM stick installed. I'll leave this stick out and try installing Arch again once the current memtest pass is finished.
I'd have expected better from Patriot!

Missing document number and premium

I have one barrier currency option (Down&in) as attached, it is expired, but I can't see any premium posted, why posting carried out but no accounting document
also I remember for barrier option, two strike price will be used, but when I see in "structure" tab, only one strike price 1.3015 is there, where is the other?

1. It is the invoice no.
2. The reference document number is used as a search criterion when displaying or changing documents. In correspondence, the reference document number is sometimes printed in place of the document number.
Ex; Vendor send the invoice and it has a no. on it. You can use that no as document no and/or reference no when posting in the system. So when you do a search it is easy to pull the invoice based in this no.

Missing Print button and scroll bar

I am using Adobe Reader X version 10.1.9 on a Dell laptop and cannot see the print button or the right vertical scroll bar. How do I fix this?

One other thing: I know that WebHelp does not allow a Print
button, and at one point we had to try WebHelp as a substitute
while we solved another bug. This is why I deleted everything in

Missing Serial Number and iMessage

Hi guys!
I have an old MacBook Pro 17 and i have no serial due to motherboard change in 2009.
Until now no problem, but i discovered that to use services as iMessage and FaceTime i need a serial in my machine.
How can i solve it?
I really need that features because i'm abroad and i need to comunicate home easily.

Apple has always been able to do that for everyone else who has posted here. I don't know what to suggest other than try again or try somewhere else.

Could i use a older USB keyboard with caps, num, and scroll lock LEDs to...

controll a motor? use the power from the LEDs (snipping the LEDs off so they dont draw power) and hook them up to a motor? im thinking about making a DIY cd/dvd duplicator out of a USB scanner. Mabey i should use the existing controller board in the scanner to control motors?....but that would require proramming. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not really my area of expertise but....
I'd say you coukd use the LED outputs to trigger relays as the voltage and current would be too low for any useful motor. A typical LED is supplied ~ 2.1 VDC @ ~20 mA. ( could be as low as 2 mA ).

[SOLVED] Kernel Panic - caps lock and scroll lock flashing

So I just spent a whole bunch of $$$ on a new desktop, and a couple of hours putting it all together, now I can't get anything except kernel panics when booting the Arch install CD
Hardware:
Core 2 Quad Q8400
Gigabyte EP43-UD3L
8gb RAM
2 x Seagate SATA 160gb
2 x Seagate SATA 1tb
So far I've tried:
- Arch ISO 2008.06 and 2009.02
- Fail Safe Defaults in the BIOS
- 'noapic' boot option
- HPET in 32 and 64 bit mode
The strange thing is that the panic comes at various stages - sometimes before the init scripts start, sometimes after, and also during boot it complains about errors with fd0 - except there is no floppy drive.
Any ideas folks?

Dv4-1365dx Caps and scroll lights flash 4 times.

When I turn on my computer, the hard drive starts but then stops. The lights on the touchbar (next to the power button) come on, but the screen does not. Then, the caps lock and scroll lights flash 4 times in sequence. My warranty expired last year, what do I need to do to fix my problem?

If the hard reset suggested by Erico does not resolve the problem,
I think it is a hardware issue with graphics if the leds are blinking 4 times. Refer the following weblink:

How to pay missed payment without knowing account number and SSN

Hello. I recently have problem paying a account that has been cancelled.
I started use verizon wireless from 2009, at that time I was in college and just arrived U.S. so that means I didn't have a ssn at that time.
But verizon wireless still let me have my own account(with my passport!). I terminated the service at Sept. 2011, at that time I was moving from one place to another,so I missed the last payment(about 50 dollors).
I didn't realize it until recent I check my credit score, I was reported by verizon wireless on my credit report...no one even send me a e-mail or try to reach me...
Now my question is: I only remenber my verzion cell phone number and the last 4 digits of my verizon account, can I pay that missed payment?
I called the customer service and they told me I have to know my SSN or Account Number to pay. since the account has been cancelled I could not access my account on verizon wireless web page.
Please help!!!!
